Cameron King waited in the dark.

He was alone, for now, sitting on a folding chair that someone had left long ago in the deserted warehouse. He smiled. This was his time. Finally, after all these years. Not Alison’s, not Erika’s – not even Kelly’s. His. And he didn’t need magick to do it either.

It had been easy to find his way back into the Six. They had welcomed him with open arms – or as close to it that The Six gets. But now, he was ready to take the power that was owed to him. That Malice had promised him.

But first, he had to take out The Six. And that started tonight, with Delilah.

It was comical, really, how simple it had been to lure her here to the warehouse – abandoned, in the middle of an abandoned neighborhood. She thought she was doing the others a favor, coming herself to take him out. He could hear her now, hear her mind. Only a few seconds now.

All those years he had pretended to be her friend. It must kill her now just to see that he wasn’t the “little brother” she had thought he was. She must be wracked with guilt that she hadn’t figured everything out long before this.

She walked through the door. He flipped the lights on with his mind and stood to face her.

“Jesus, darling, it took you FOREVER to get here. And I thought *I* took a long time to get ready.”

He pushed his arms down to his sides, fingers splayed. He concentrated, closing his eyes for a moment before they flew open and he thrust both arms forward. Sitting on the warehouse floor there were two giant boxes twice his height, one on each side of him, containing heavy machinery. As he moved his arms forward, the boxes quickly slid towards Delilah.

Warehouse

[ Delilah had known something was wrong with Cameron from the moment that he returned to The Six. For as happy and well adjusted as he seemed, Delilah never forgot the Cameron that had possessed her at Illustra all those years ago. She knew it would be hard to try and get one up on a telepath but she was no slouch when it came to investigating things discreetly, a product of the many years she spent on NYPD. ]

[ Malice had finally gotten to Cameron, she was using him as her catspaw, a role that seemed to be overwhelmingly filled by the members of The King Family. He was going to try and kill them all, and Delilah couldn't let that happen. The team had been betrayed once before by a team member and the effects of Alexis' betrayal still played a role in The Six today. As much of an asshole as he was, Cameron had been an integral part of The Six. He had made amends with everybody, and to face him in battle would be something they might not recover from. ]

[ Essentially, Delilah was protecting her team by meeting Cameron in the warehouse, fully prepared to kill him. If she could spare his sister and friends the horrifying notion of ending his life themselves, she would do it. She had experienced that kind of pain, with Bishop..and she didn't want to pull any of THEM out of the ocean surrounding Aerie. ]

[ Making her way to the warehouse, the lights flashed on as Cameron appeared. ]

Cameron: “Jesus, darling, it took you FOREVER to get here. And I thought *I* took a long time to get ready.”

Delilah smirked as she began to walk closer to him, not slowing herself down in any capacity.

"Sorry, King...It took me awhile to figure out what boots I wanted to murder you in..."

[She watched as Cameron pushed his arms to the side before THRUSTING them out in front of him, sending two rather large boxes containing heavy machinery flying towards her. She placed her own hand out in front of her in a "stop" motion as he continued walking. At the speed of light she manifested a LASER grid in front of her that burned with bright red energy and used that as a shield. As the boxes met the grid, they exploded and DISSOLVED at the sheer HEAT and intensity of the energy. ]

[ A SPLIT second after she deactivated the grid, she was face to face with Cameron as she executed a roundhouse kick straight into his stomach with all her weight, causing him to fly back several feet, heading towards a concrete pillar. ]

"If you think I'm going to let your sister and your teammates to clean up yet ANOTHER mess made by you, you're sorely mistaken...and the thing is?"

[ Again she began to walk towards him. As she walked she SNAPPED her fingers in the air as a brilliant strobing effect began to throb around her. This light was frenetic and chaotically bright and white, and would effect his equilibrium, concentration and his SIGHT simultaneously, knowing that much of a telepath's power comes from the need to concentrate. In essence she was simply creating a FASTER and more effective version of a White Noise Generator. ]

"I don't want to kill you....Hell, I like you..."

She tilted her head to the side for a moment.

"But I liked Bishop too...and that didn't stop me from putting a bullet in his head."

[ As her light effect continued she squinted her eyes as she sent a high powered photon blast at the top of the pillar causing it to explode in a brilliant display of rubble, watching as it began to plummet over the TOP of Cameron, threatening to trap him underneath. ]

"I killed Bishop for the same reason I'm about to kill you...DUTY....HONOR...Something you've been HORRIFYINGLY disappointing in at EVERY turn..."

Delilah said:
"Sorry, King...It took me awhile to figure out what boots I wanted to murder you in..."

He looked her up and down and cocked a perfectly groomed eyebrow.

“And you chose those ones? On purpose?”

She kicked him in the stomach, which caused him to take a few steps backward. He laughed.

“You should have picked a pair with a sharper heel.”

Delilah said:
"If you think I'm going to let your sister and your teammates to clean up yet ANOTHER mess made by you, you're sorely mistaken..."

“Do you know what the best thing will be about killing you? I won’t have to listen to your holier-than-thou martyr bullshit anymore.”

He drew his hand across his body as he moved into a fighting stance, manifesting his telekinetic katana. He thrust his sword hand out towards Delilah, sending the glowing energy blade towards her heart.

She began to use her strobe effect on him, and he shut his eyes against the onslaught. She was strong enough to still put him offbalance even with his eyes closed, but it was better.

“My dear Delilah, you give off so many conflicting emotions, you could cut my eyeballs out and I’d still be able to see your every move.”

Delilah said:

It really was a shame – for her – that she wasn’t psi screened. He used her own eyes to see in his mind’s eye what was happening around him.

So when she destroyed the pillar behind him and the rubble threatened to bury him, he was able to use his telekinetic superhuman speed and reflexes to move out of harm’s way.

Delilah said:

“And where has duty and honor gotten YOU sweetums? But you bring up a good point…Bishop…”

Focusing on Delilah’s brain signature, he began projecting Bishop’s greatest hits into her mind. Him trying to kill Sharon – BOTH times, lying to her about Arklay, Delilah MURDERING him, her suicide. And oh yes, Bishop telling her that he’d taken their baby and that she would never see her again. He knew how crippling these events still were for Delilah and that it would surely break her concentration enough that he would be able to see again.

"How DOES it feel to know that you are an even WORSE mother than Kelly King was?"

[ Delilah scoffed for a moment. ]

"Don't overestimate your ability, Cameron...especially when you spend most of your time being The Six's RESIDENT damsel in distress..."

[ She as she ducked under his his energy blade. Delilah clutched her fists. ]

"Oh Cameron...I'm not a martyr...I'm merely the woman who is going to kill you."

[ All at once her head began to fill with images of Bishop and she tried incredibly hard to resist them. All of the pain he had caused...what had happened to her daughter. Planting a bullet in his head. She had known Cameron would go this route. She dropped her strobe effect. ]

"Keep yourself TOGETHER...you CAN'T let him walk out of here alive..."

[ The memories continued to play. These were incredibly horrible points in her life, but they were also moments her team members refused to ever let her forget, as if she could have anyway. This allowed her a certain separation from the events and allowed her to slowly..gain her composure. ]

"You talk a big game, King....."

[resting her hands on her thighs, bending over, gaining control of herself]

"And Bishop...REALLY... [heavy breathing] nice touch...but you're forgetting something..."

Delilah slowly began to raise to a tall and strong stance.

"In times of STRIFE and STRUGGLE....you get sad...so sad that you want to END it all..."

She began to walk closer to him. She spoke in an even and calculating tone.

"But then...THEN the father of your child and one of your best friend's take your baby away from you and FOREVER alter the course of the closest relationships have. And you know what happens then?"

And she was back.

"You get....REALLY.....fucking...angry..."

[ Delilah cast out her hand emitting an incredibly powerful blast, composed of a stream of solid photons. Being who she was allowed her ability's to manifest at LIGHT SPEED, causing an attack like this to be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to avoid, whether he was in her head or not. ]

[ The dazzling white and concise blast SLAMMED into Cameron's right arm, traveling in a completely straight line where his elbow met his lower arm. At first Cameron would feel nothing as the blast SLICED half of his arm in TWO, but once he became fully aware of what she had just done, the REAL pain would begin. ]

"I don't feeling like joking around ASSHOLE...and uh uh uh...don't worry about that arm..."

[ She threw her hands in the air ala Piper as a bright firework type display of lights flashed before Cameron's eyes, rendering him absolutely STUNNED, unable to move by overloading his optical senses. ]

"Because i'm about to blast a giant hole through your heart...."

[clasping her hands together creating a Charlie's Angels gun pose]

"And I have great aim...."

[At the point of her fingers a bright display of light began to glow slowly, she was essentially CHARGING herself up to deliver one HELL of a blow.]

"And questioning my parenting skills are pretty cocky, especially for an orphan. Don't you worry about Alexia, Cameron...she'll be fine. You however, well...if you DO happen to make it out of here today with your life, you will still walk out of here a TRAITOR...a CATSPAW and just as PATHETIC as about every other member of your family who thought they would walk away from Diana unharmed..."

“Pfft – The Six left me to DIE on a regular basis. I had to get MYSELF out of trouble because my TEAMMATES couldn’t be bothered to even look for me. You all were too busy fighting with each other.”

He scoffed.

“Some team.”

Delilah said:
"Oh Cameron...I'm not a martyr...I'm merely the woman who is going to kill you."

“Oh I’ve been dead before – and I always come back with a bang.”

The white hot blast tore through his arm, and he staggered backwards. Looking down in shock, luckily for him the blast had cauterized the wound as it passed through. He looked up at Delilah – he hadn’t thought she had it in her. His eyes narrowed as his face darkened into a sneer.

“I don’t need two hands to kill you – and Malice will give me a new one as soon as I deliver your body to her doorstep.”

Delilah said:
"I don't feeling like joking around ASSHOLE...”

He laughed.

“That’s good, because everyone else on the Six thinks you’re a joke – and crazy as a bag of cats.”

He found himself stunned.

“Haven’t I already shown you I don’t need to see to fight you – I have YOUR eyes working for ME.”

“Pot, meet kettle. At least I’m getting something out of my betrayal. What did YOU get? Cause you know none of the Six will ever trust you again – all they see when they look at you is the TRAITOR who destroyed their lives.”

He saw her, through her own eyes, preparing to strike. Immobile as he was, he was a sitting duck.

But if his physical body was holstered by Delilah’s attack, his astral self was something she couldn’t touch. He stepped out of his body…and into Delilah’s, taking control of her body. He spun her around away from him, and forced her hand to her temple. If she unleashed her attack, it would destroy her own body.

[ She should have known that Cameron would use cheap parlor tricks and implore tactics that would not allow her to INCINERATE him as she had planned. For all of the talk he did, at the end of the day all he could perform were sleights of hand. ]

[ The words stung, though she didn't let on. He was probably right...but Delilah had hoped the amount of GOOD she had done on the team would somehow, at the end of the day...tip the scales in her favor. Murdering Cameron King would probably make them hate her even more, but hey...they were more than willing to make a decision about HER life without asking...Karma really is a bitch. ]

[ All at once she felt herself lose control over her body. Her body FOUGHT at first, but soon she watched her trembling hands point straight at her head. He was taking control of her body. Immediately she dropped the charge. He may be able to possess her body, but figuring out and knowing how and when Delilah was able to manifest her power would be another story. That was different for every mutant. If She waited for the right moment, she would be able to blast his physical body and END him...In order to take her moment, she would HAVE to enter deeper into the belly of the beast. ]

[ She fought against his control, desperately trying to move her own hand back to her side as it trembled incredibly against her head. ]

"Ah come on, King...this isn't fair...can't beat me like a MAN? Not surprised..that would require balls..one of which belongs to Haleigh...and the other of which belongs to Malice...what I'm TRYING to say...is you're a pussy..."

He chuckled in her head.

“Me-ow.”

He lowered her hand from her temple and started to stroll across the warehouse floor, bouncing on his – no her – feet. He almost felt like dancing.

”Not too bad, Trelaven…I quite like taking you for a spin.”

He felt her breasts, squeezed her ass.

”You know, I think Alycia’s had her eye on you. She and I could have a LOT of fun in your body.”

She grinned broadly.

”And since you’ve damaged MY body, it’s only fair that you provide me with another. Won’t your “friends” – and I sincerely mean the air quotes, darling – be surprised when you show up and kill them all?”

He could feel her distress at that. He made her pick up a long metal spike.

”No? Ah well, then, it’s only fair – an eye for an eye.”

They arrived in front of a piece of large machinery, with a conveyor leading to several pronged steel metal rods, and three interlacing grinders underneath. He made Delilah push a giant green button, and with a bell the conveyor started, the rods grabbing at it, and the grinders turning.

”Or perhaps, an arm for an arm?”

He could feel Delilah struggle against him as he slowly lowered her hand into the mechanism. They could smell raw meat as the blades shredded Delilah arm, which was submerged to her elbow.

At that moment, he left her body and returned to his own, Delilah’s stun now worn off and his body free to move.

Taking a page from her book, he snapped his fingers and the room was now filled with hundreds of Camerons, all identical copies of himself.

He projected his voice into her mind, so it would seem that all of them spoke at once.

“Ready to give up, Pet?”

The Warehouse

Cameron began to control her body, leaving her to feel incredibly violated. What had happened to the man that The Six had grown to respect? Had Malice finally been able to break him as well. It sounded like he was championing to be Diana's White Prince.

Cameron: "Not too bad, Trelaven...I quite like taking you for a spin."

Her stomach turn as he began to use her body to FURTHER violate her by grobing her breats and her ass. It was telepathic rape at it's finest. She fought back tears for a moment before regaining her composure.

Cameron: "You know, I think Alycia's had her eye on you. She and I could have a LOT of fun in your body!"

Delilah was fighting with all of her might to get Cameron out of her head. Each of The Six had been trained in mental defenses..ironically by Nicolas and CAMERON..in order to protect them from people easily controlling their minds. Now she was a victim to the man who had trained her.

Cameron: ”And since you’ve damaged MY body, it’s only fair that you provide me with another. Won’t your “friends” – and I sincerely mean the air quotes, darling – be surprised when you show up and kill them all?”

"Fuck...you....Cameron..."

Cameron: ”No? Ah well, then, it’s only fair – an eye for an eye.”

She felt herself walking over to some kind of machine that looked as if it were used to break down OTHER metal things in a very meticulous and brutal manner..Her body began to tremble as she was struggling to fight his mental control. It was of no use.

Cameron: "Or perhaps, an arm for an arm"

Her pulse began to RACE as he saw her hand move into the machine. She began to scream.

"You son of a BITCH! Cameron!?! No!!!"

It was too late.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

The pain was INCREDIBLE as it THROBBED through her body. Her screams PIERCED through the warehouse at an alarming volume as she could FEEL Cameron had left her body. Stricken with panic and adrenaline her face frantically searched for the off button as she pushed it, PULLING her mutilated ARM out of the machine and falling to the floor. Her face went from terror at the sight of her arm to an almost deadpan, as if she were in shock an unable to process what had just happened.

With a SHRIEK she PULLED the mutilated half of her arm OFF of her body as she shot herself with a focused and small laser beam, essentially cauterizing her own wound. She was still in incredible pain and as she looked up, her face wet with tears she began to see what looked to be like HUNDREDS of Cameron's around her.

She COULDN'T let him get out of here...if he was like THIS, she couldn't let the others see what a monumental FAILURE he had become...and after the mental/sexual ASSAULT she had just encountered by his mental powers...she was DONE playing games.

Delilah slowly rose to her feet, desperately fighting back the PAIN in her arm as she manifested a HIGH charge Laser Shield around her body in a globular structure. Her resolve strengthen. She wouldn't give Cameron the satisfaction of seeing her in this much pain...no matter HOW much of a struggle it was. She called out to him.

"You're the PET, Cameron...always everybody's PLAYTHING...We've rescued you SO many times. We've SAVED your life time and time again...and what do we have to show for it? Nothing! You're a disgusting human being, Cameron King...and I am about to make sure that nobody EVER has to be tormented by your existence...EVER again!"

A BEAM of Light shot up through the sky, creating a spotlight of sorts on Delilah, much like an alien ship attempting to beam somebody up. The beam was a BRIGHT white light as Delilah's hair began to flow within the light. Upon her mental command, she unleashed a BRUTAL assault!

<<CLAP!>>

The booming sound TORE through the warehouse as Delilah ignited an incredibly powerful Sonic Light Blast. From within Delilah's spotlight the warehouse FILLED with a brilliant and BLINDING white light as a BALLISTIC Sonic boom combined with incredible light that blasted like a nuclear bomb with Delilah at the epicenter, she may not have known where the REAL Cameron was but with the speed that Delilah manifested her attacks, the blast would be near IMPOSSIBLE to avoid, no matter WHERE he was. The sound was DEAFENING as it caused the various boxes and machinery within the warehouse to SHAKE as it headed straight for Cameron. Sonic attacks were a Telepath's greatest foe as the sound alone would cause INCREDIBLE pain in Cameron's ears and throttle his mind, not allowing him the concentration and focus needed to perform such feats..IF he could survive the blast.

Delilah then CLOSED her eyes as her corporeal form began to fade away, as Cameron would see her essentially becoming ABSORBED into the sparkling spotlight the shined down on her. She had trasnformed INTO...a Ray of Light. In this form she could travel at LIGHT SPEED. Her body reappeared, maintaining her physical shape as she was encased in a stunning field of white light.

"I guess it's time for yet ANOTHER woman on this team to show you how utterly USELESS you are when compared to the rest of us..."

He reveled in her screams, her pain. For all the times she and the rest of the Six had derided him, made him out to be less than a man. HE had felt real pain, the like of which NONE of them had ever known. But did they see his strength? His determination to STAY ALIVE against all odds? No.

He wanted them all to hurt as bad as Malice…Erika…Kelly…had made him hurt.

She put up a shield against him, but he knew he had her. It couldn’t keep him out of her head. He could take her any time he wanted to. He didn’t need magick – they thought his power weak, but he would show them what he could do.

“Come on Dee, just give-“

And then a blinding light radiated from Delilah, closely followed by a sonic boom of epic proportions.

Cameron fell to his knees, blood trailing out of his ears and nose. He was deafened, blinded. It felt as if his body would be liquefied. All he could see was light…all he could feel was pain…

He knew that without his increased durability due to his telekinesis, he would be dead, possibly vaporized. And even so, he wasn’t far off now.

Delilah said:

He could only “hear” her through her mind. He crawled, slowly, struggling.

“I don’t know…”

He was out of breath as he tried to speak.

“Slept with all of them…”

No! Not this way!

<< Flash >>

Malice standing over his broken body. The worst of her torture. Her face morphing into his sister, Erika and finally his mother. The pain…he remembered it like it was yesterday. It enveloped him, he was lost in it. Again.

<< Flash >>

No! Never again! NEVER AGAIN!

His body unconsciousnessly reacted, from the primal need to NEVER AGAIN be defenseless and abused, to SURVIVE. The instinct that made him CAMERON fucking KING.

It unleashed a psycho kinetic bio blast, clearing everything out of his surrounding area, protecting his damaged body.
