Dominique opened her door and was obviously surprised to see it. They weren't friends, but they had a mutual respect for one another.

"I apologize for bothering you, but I need to speak to you. It's important."

Dominique invited her in and lead her to the den. Ava made a mental note of how beautiful her suite was. There was definitely no expense cut while decorating it. Dominique offered her some tea, but Ava politely denied the offer. She preferred to get down to business and Dominique could very well tell. However before she was able to even explain why she was here Dominique excused herself. Sighing, Ava pinched the bridge of her nose feeling a headache coming on.

"I don't have time for this."

She muttered quietly to herself while Dominique was busy tending to whatever guest had arrived. But soon she returned, with Nicolas following behind.

Dominique: My apologies for the interruption, Persephone. But as you can see, given the circumstances all of us are facing, it was to be expected. I assume that you can speak freely in front of my nephew, since you are teammates.

Dominique was right, she could speak freely about this in front of Nicolas. Nodding, she waited for them to both take a seat.

Dominique: Now, what was it you were going to see?

"The Blue Moon is in the process of happening. It is already starting to effect the magick users of the six, not to mention myself as well. That is why I am here. I can't sense my mother Demeter anymore. Or Hecate and Athena. I need to reach them, to make sure they are alright..."

Wincing slightly, Ava lowered her head to her fingers and began to gently massage her temples. The headache was intensifying.

"The Blue Moon is also a gateway for Circe to come back into this world. I have very bad blood with Circe, and with me not being able to tell where Demeter or Hecate are....i'm afraid she may have already managed to get to them."

Looking up at Dominique, it was apparent that SHE was also starting to feel the effects of the moon. With tired eyes, she hoped Dominique could understand why she was coming to her for help.

"I know you don't owe me anything, but if you have any way to help me contact them. Or know of someone who has the means to, I will repay you. Anytime, any place. You have my word."

Delilah was spitting mad.

Sharon placated her. And Delilah KNEW she was being placated. But if Sharon thought for one second that she was going to stay here while everyone else headed off to Aerie to be with Karen & Alison, she had another thing coming. As soon as Morgan and Blaze got back from The Parthenon, they would travel together and THEN she was going to give Sharon a piece of her mind.

Exhaustion, my ass.

It didn’t look like exhaustion. And the both of them at the same time, and with Morgan looking so poorly as well? Uh uh. She was pregnant, not stupid.

Delilah threw a few things into an overnight bag. Carrying it into the living room, she dropped it near the door and headed into the kitchen and got out a glass. Her mouth was so dry…

The baby kicked in her stomach – hard. She winced and cried out, accidentally dropping the glass to the floor with a crash.

She had no time to even think about cleaning up the mess before her front door splintered inward with a loud crack and crash. Delilah gasped and raised her hand, which began to glow as she took a defensive position.

What he wouldn’t give to be a mutant right now, one who could teleport or teleblink or whatever they called it. Some power that would let him think where he wanted to be and then BE there, instantly.

As soon as he had received the text from Nicolas, he had left immediately for Laguardia. Nicolas was not the type to joke, and if he had lowered himself to contact Maxim, Delilah had to be in grave danger. Luckily, the new persona that Hecate had given him came complete with private jet – but he had willed it to move faster, fidgeting the entire flight to Santa Monica Airport.

He had tried texting and calling Nicolas back for more details, but the bastard hadn’t answered or replied. If this WAS a joke, he would kill whoever was responsible. Literally KILL them. A car was waiting for him in LA, which he drove like the madman he was through Hollywood to Melrose Place. He leapt from the car (he couldn’t have said if he even shut the door behind him), rushed through the gate to the complex and stopped at Apartment #1, where he knew Delilah lived.

He had a million questions running through his mind: what was the danger? Was it natural or supernatural? Was Delilah even home? What if she wasn’t? How would he find her? What would he say when he did? What would he do if he was too late?

The decision about what he would do was taken out of his hands in the next split-second, though, as he heard Delilah cry out and a crash from within her apartment. He had arrived just in time, from the sound of things. He took a step back, then with a practiced forcefulness moved forward and KICKED in the door.

Delilah was ready to shoot first, ask questions later, when she saw a familiar hulking frame move through the door. A minute ago she wouldn’t have thought she could be any more pissed than she was, but that was before Bishop walked through her door.

“Are you INSANE?! You broke down my door you psychopath!”

Maxim: “Hello to you too, darlin’.”

He was going from room to room in her apartment, searching for something. She snapped her fingers at him.

“Hey! Lunatic! What the hell are you doing?”

Maxim came back into the living room and faced Delilah, who was standing waiting for an answer with her arms crossed.

Maxim: “Where are they?”

She was exasperated and she had no idea what he was talking about.

“What?”

He held up his phone.

Maxim: “I got a message that you were in trouble. Where is the trouble?”

She screamed at him.

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!”

She grabbed his phone, threw it into the air, and with her fingers in a “gun” pose, she shot a photon bullet at it so that it blew into a million pieces.

He screamed back.

Maxim: “Have I lost MY mind?! I THOUGHT YOU NEEDED HELP, YOU INGRATE! And what was that – letting me through the door. I could have been anyone. Any…THING! And…and…YOU OWE ME A NEW PHONE!”

They stood there in Delilah’s living room, just glaring at each other across the room. Until Bishop’s eyes dropped downward to Delilah’s stomach. Then back to her face. Then to her stomach. Then back to her face again.

Maxim: “You…is that…are you…who…when…Jesus.”

He was flustered. Something he NEVER was.

Delilah couldn’t respond to any of this, or make any kind of explanation. Something was wrong. Her limbs felt like lead. She tried to put her hand on her stomach, a gesture of protection, but she couldn’t move.

“Maxim? Help me…” was all she managed to say before she fell over.

He made it through the door. He noted she was in the room alone and began to methodically search the apartment for intruders. Finding nothing, he came back to the living room. She was screaming at him. She was being unfair. He was there to protect her. Couldn’t she see that? But man, she was pissed. She broke his phone. What the hell was her problem?

When it became apparent that she wasn’t in immediate danger, he relaxed a bit, was about to explain. And then he noticed that she had put on some weight. A LOT of weight. Holy fuck she was pregnant. VERY pregnant. Was it his? It better fucking be his. If she had just moved on and took up with the next guy that had walked by…Jesus.

He tried to find his voice, and looked up into her face. Something was wrong. Something more than the fact that he was here, her apartment door was in splinters, and she was pregnant.

Delilah said:
“Maxim? Help me…”

And Delilah crashed to the floor.

“Delilah!”

He knelt next to her, feeling for a pulse. It was there but thready. She was breathing, but barely. He called her name again and again. She was unresponsive.

“Come on! Wake up Delilah! Wake up!”

He assessed the situation. She hadn’t just fainted. Something was wrong. And she was pregnant. She needed help NOW. He scooped her up in his arms and carried her out into the courtyard.

“HELP! Somebody help PLEASE!”

He couldn't lose her again.

:: Dominique sensed the urgency in Persephone's demeanor and her request...it was genuine. It took courage and no doubt a strong sense of dread for the goddess to come to a woman who was technically her enemy. But some things are simply BEYOND "good" and "evil"...no one knew that better than Dominique::

Say no more...Persephone.

:: Dominique slowly stood up. She was having a hard time, as was Persephone.::

Circe, while tied to the Olympians, represents a threat to ALL of us. You and I may herald from different deity pantheons, but your mother, athena and even Hecate all knew my patron deity, they shared good will and knowledge across time and space. I know the feeling of dread that comes with the sudden loss of access to a loved one...

:: her sister, Nicolas' mother::

...especially at the hands of a hated enemy...

:: Set, Nicolas' father::

and yes...this Blue Moon...it is having its effect on me as well...but I am not without my own resources.

It is the very fact that Isis is from an entirely different pantheon that gives me a unique window of opportunity to assist you...while there's still time

:: she points to the window of her den. Ava, Nicolas, Dominique ALL see the very large, low hanging moon...now more than halfway turned to BLUE. Time was truly growing short.::

Isis is the egyptian goddess of REBIRTH as well as magick.

Even as I am feeling my very vitality DRAIN from me...

:: she reaches into a crystal container, bringing forth one of the 4 deadliest talismans on the planet, the sceptre of Isis. The weapon that was her's by right, per her destiny, the covenant with her goddess and namesake, Isis.::

I still have a few "tricks" up my sleeve.

:: summoning strength of will to push forward, Isis gestures as mystic chimes sound off and the sceptre glows, humming with power::

I call upon my patron deity, princess of the SUN itself
Heed my call and enter now, through this, my talisman
A symbol of our covenant for all the ages!

:: thunder CRASHES as the lights began to flicker around the hotel and an unearthly WIND begins to blow::

Help me now, Goddess
Through this draining fog of the unholy BLUE MOON
To reach across time, space and even pantheons
Let the light of your sun and rebirth bridge the GAP between
Persephone, Hecate, Demeter and Athena!!!!

:: Dominique struggles, but the talisman is a CONCENTRATED source of her egyptian magick and a solid link to the goddess whom she serves as the avatar for. The spell IGNITES as golden orbs flow around the room, coalescing to form a viewing portal...::

The spell...has ignited...goddess grant that my power...my strength of will is SUFFICIENT to maintain it long enough...do not waste even a MOMENT...

Contact

<< Persephone's gamble has paid off, Isis has opened a channel of communication across time, space and even pantheons. Ava, Nicolas and Dominique now see a view of Athena, Demeter and Hecate...where they are located is not clear...but it is definitely NOT any place on Mt. Olympus...and all three goddesses look grim and concerned>>

Counsel of the goddesses

:: Athena looks upon Persephone, Rampage and Isis. She is the first to speak.::

Greetings, Isis. It has indeed been a long time. It is unfortunate that circumstances such as these are what causes us to have an audience again, but...

:: Looking to Persephone::

You were WISE to seek the aid of Isis, for her origins have given her a precious buffer as this Blue Moon takes its firm hold to run its course. But her time grows short. We must share with you the key to ensuring your victory against Circe, who seeks this unfortunate window of opportunity to reassert herself in the mortal realm and wreck havoc once again.

We are well...and unharmed...but NONE of us can DIRECTLY aid ANY of you in this urgent hour.

:: Athena gestures to Demeter and Hecate, who are both present, allowing Persephone a moment to address her mother and dear friend::

Meeting of the minds

<< Hecate looks at Isis, Persephone and Rampage. >>

Isis, always a pleasure.

Persephone, another moon...and our backs to the wall as usual??

<< Hecate's off color humor was always present and often provided comfort to her and Persephone in times past>>

Rampage, it pleases me that you are once again making my daughter (Spellbinder) happy again.

<< Persephone greets the three goddesses, taking a moment express relief that they, particularly Demeter are well.>>

Yes, we three stick together...we've all learned from the events of...the past.

<< they all knew what that was in reference to>>

Speaking of which...

This Blue Moon...I regret that I must take responsibility for it, as it is the ultimate equal/opposite reaction to my initial curse of the red moon, born out of spite, a broken heart, anger and betrayal.

Athena: It is simply another reminder...LESSON that even WE are not infallible.

Demeter: But we have ALL learned from the past and the most important lesson, trusting in one another even in the most uncertain times.

Hecate: Even in that moment of righteous anger and rage all those eons ago when I cast the curse of the red moon...in the furtherst corner of my mind's eye...I subsconsciously knew to create a failsafe for the natural reprocussion of the red moon, the blue moon. a time when all magick on earth, particularly that associated with me, is at its weakest.

Hecate: Spellbinder, my living heiress, her MUTANT power is to teleport through time and space, mentally controlling "stepping discs"...which originate in LIMBO, a place OUTSIDE of time and space...

Athena: and NOT ON EARTH.

<< Nicolas and Ava suddenly realized>>

Hecate: Spellbinder must go to Limbo, to be REVIVED before it's too late. SHE must be the one to STOP Circe.

Athena: But she will have to take the fight TO Circe to do that.

Call to action

Hecate:From that eldritch dimension of Limbo, Spellbinder MUST draw her Soul Sword, the talisman formed from the darkest, MOST POWERFUL piece of her soul, a concentrated source of magick that NO mystical enchantment or being can with standteleport to the source of this blue moon. From Limbo, where all times and places are possible, she must then teleport to...

Hecate, Athena, Demeter: The Underworld....

Athena: Circe is there, on the isle of the gorgon. She must cross the river styx and reach the isle, and journey into the temple.

Demeter: But the way there is long, and filled with danger. She must not go alone.

Athena: RAMPAGE. You earned earned favor as my champion in these modern times. I call upon you now, take up your axe and journey with Spellbinder to Limbo and from there, to the Underworld. Help her...

Hecate: Protect her.

Demeter: Give her the strength and courage she will need, for there are dangers that will be geared to play upon her most primal FEARS.

Athena: And as you are NOW, there is no one else that Hecate or myself would choose to stand by Spellbinder as she does her part to stop Circe and BREAK this curse once and for all!

Hecate: Isis, for your willingness to help Harbinger protect Minerva's Aerie, one of the nexus points between this world and the underworld, you have our DEEPEST gratitude. The paths of goodwill shall forever remain open between our two pantheons should you ever have need our assistance.

Athena: Persephone, for your quick thinking and wisdom in seeking Isis to reach us, you have just tipped the scales of this battle and made the possibility of a favorable outcome that much more likely.

Demeter: The magick may be ebbing from earth as the Blue Moon becomes fully active, BUT the power OF the earth remains, and that is MY domain. Shadow Weaver, Harbinger and Isis will be restored in physical vigor and vitality, for they are MORE than just the magick they channel. Isis in particular, being the egyptian goddess of REBIRTH as well as magick.

Athena: But this boost in vigor will only be temporary, for the barrier that seperates us from Persephone also hampers us from FULLY affecting any circumstance and outcome on earth while the blue moon is in effect.

Hecate: There is no more time left. You must go now. But before you do....

<< eldritch chimes sound off as a sparkling trail falls from the ceiling toward Nicolas' open hand. two mysterious coins made from the finest quality of GOLD are now in his hand>>

Demeter: You must give those to Charon, only then will he ferry you and Spellbinder across the dreadful river styx to the isle of the gorgon.

Much to Persephone's delight, Dominique agreed to help her. Sighing out with relief, she gave a weak smile to her fellow goddess.

"Thank you, Dominique."

Isis was weakened by the effects of the Blue Moon as well, but was still able to open a portal and make contact with Demeter, Hecate, and Athena. Once she saw they were all alright, it small weight was lifted off her shoulders.

"Goddess, it's good to see all of you."

Even Athena. They were not close by any means, however they were able to work past a few of their differences allowing them a less hostile relationship.

Athena: We are well...and unharmed...but NONE of us can DIRECTLY aid ANY of you in this urgent hour.

"I understand. I am just glad to know you are all alright."

All three of the goddesses began to speak about the moon, the effects, and what was going to happen. It looked grim, but then it dawned on Persephone--AND Nicolas--how they would be able to defeat Circe. Spellbinder needed to "reboot" in Limbo! She was only part witch. Her ties to being a mutant due to her father were still within her. Limbo was outside the realm of the Blue Moon, as were her stepping discs. So if she were to go there, she would be able to recharge and ultimately hunt Circe down in The Underworld.

Underworld

That word slightly stung as Ava heard it. A domain SHE herself still ruled over as QUEEN, however she never truly took claim to it. And after what had happened the past few months, a domain she couldn't stomach being apart of. But alas it was still apart of her.

As Demeter gave Nicolas the gold coins, he thanked them and left. Ava knew the portal would be closing soon. She could see Isis' weakened state. Hell she felt the same way.

"Thank you all for your assistance."

Looking specifically at her mother.

"I'm glad you're alright. I was worried."

Demeter: My daughter? Worried? I never thought i'd live to see the day.

A lighthearted joke followed by a warm smile from the goddess. Persephone softly smiled back.

"Who would of thought?"

She quipped back.

"But truly, it's good to know you are all safe and....relatively well."

Knowing they are also being effected by the Blue Moon. Glancing over at Dominique, Ava knew she had to close the portal.

"I have to go. Stay safe."

Demeter: You as well my little dove. And remember....you are strong Persephone. You can get through anything. Don't let this hinder you.

Demeter spoke not of this situation, but of Persephone's own personal situation. A subtle way to show she knew what had happened. Nodding, the portal slowly began to shrink in size.

Demeter: I love you.

Before Ava could say anything back, the portal closed. Her eyes lowered to the floor of Dominique's apartment.

I love you too, mom.

There was a quiet pause.

"Thank you again for your assistance Dominique."

Looking up at the goddess.

"As I said, anything you need, don't hesitate to ask."

Morgan said:

“She…she was fine and then she…she just collapsed. Something’s wrong…she…she needs a doctor!”

He started carrying her out to where his car was parked, then he turned back to Morgan.

“Morgan…please…I have to get her to help…to a doctor…call 911...please…”

She would see the begging in his eyes, hear the pleading, the desperation in his voice before he continued carrying Delilah to front the entrance of Melrose Place.

Nicolas...

:: She opens the door wider, gesturing him to come inside::

Your teammate, Persephone, is here. She came to see me about something that seems to be troubling her and I suspect it has to do with what you're here for.

:: Dominique pauses again...shutting her eyes tightly::

Ugh....

:: Without thinking...She reaches out to her nephew for support to steady herself::

The headache...it's getting worse...and I am feeling a bit...dizzy.

:: Shaking her head as she regains herself::

I understand why you are here. But I suspect Persephone's reason for being here is urgent. She would not have come calling for any mere social reason.

Nicolas takes Isis' arm to help steady her. He was prepared to pick her up entirely but it was obvious that she was made of stern stuff, righting herself and leading him into her suite. As he looked around he stopped dead for a second. There was a picture of HIM on her mantle beside other obviously important pictures of her. tilting his head and regaining his stride, he could not help but crack a small wry smile. If there were time he might have actually stood there and cried for the beauty of it all. It was the nourishment his spirit needed at a time like this.

:: She returns to the den, where a pensive looking Persephone can be found seated. Dominique returns to her seat on the couch, motioning for Nicolas to sit in the chair beside Persephone::

My apologies for the interruption, Persephone. But as you can see, given the circumstances all of us are facing, it was to be expected.

I assume that you can speak freely in front of my nephew, since you are teammates.

Now, what was it you were going to see?

"I know you don't owe me anything, but if you have any way to help me contact them. Or know of someone who has the means to, I will repay you. Anytime, any place. You have my word."

Isis took up her Staff and incanted a spell, wobbling but finally holding as it ignited, opening up a portal that revealed...

...Athena, Hecate and Demeter!!

Nicolas was glad to see them well. Truth is, if these three were in trouble that would bode even worse for them in terms of defeating Circe. But it was clear they were unhappy with events and determined to have them set right.

Morgan needed to go to....DUH!...Limbo!. Why had he not thought of that? Once there, she needed to activate the Soulsword and then go to...the Underworld.

Take the fight to Circe herself on the Isle of the Gorgon. Hmnn...the Gorgon? OK. And there was another thing...

Demeter: But the way there is long, and filled with danger. She must not go alone.

Athena: RAMPAGE. You earned earned favor as my champion in these modern times. I call upon you now, take up your axe and journey with Spellbinder to Limbo and from there, to the Underworld. Help her...

Demeter: You must give those to Charon, only then will he ferry you and Spellbinder across the dreadful river styx to the isle of the gorgon.

Nicolas stood as he plucked the coins from the air. In his other hand, his cane morphed into his Axe. A very special axe with (so far) no name.

Thank you. Now I know what to do.

He waited as Ava said her goodbyes to the goddesses, a very tender moment. He reached out and grasped Ava's hand, holding it in a silent goodbye.

He started to leave, then stopped. Isis had JUST finished the spell. He leaned over and whispered in her ear.

Thank you Auntie for finding a way to LOVE me more than you HATE me.

Kissing her cheek he disappears with her...

....reappearing with her on Aerie, in the infirmary.

Bishop hugged Delilah to his chest. The light that usually emanated from her was all but gone.

“She is not going to die.”

He turned and began moving to the street once again. He could hear Morgan behind her:

But as he got outside the gated complex, he was stopped.

Out from the shadows

Morgan...stop! Put the phone away.

:: A familiar voice, with a much more authoratative tone::

Morgan said:

:: She steps forward, with her hand out in a "stop motion" to Bishop::

You can't take her to a hospital. They will be useless to her and she will not survive. She must be brought to Minerva's Mansion, where the off-world technology of the infirmary and world class medical staff can assist.

:: Bishop objects. Alycia holds her hand up for silence. ::

I'm not here to argue with YOU, Bishop. I'm trying to HELP YOU. I'm trying to help you BOTH save Delilah's life!

HARBINGER sent me. I was to find Bishop and bring him to Minerva's arie. That shouldve been HOURS ago...but She didnt "SEE"...anticipate the actions of Nicolas, which altered things. An unfortunate effect of the coming Blue Moon, hampering her precognition.

Be that as it may, I've found you...and now you must come with me if you want to see her live!

:: Alycia looked taller than Bishop remembered. He hadn't seen her since her changes. On her wrists were silver, gleaming feminum bracelets and she herself looked more toned, yet still feminine and fit. Her hazel eyes showed a grim focus. She looked battle ready. ::

:: Behind her just a bit was a shimmering, but clear/transparent, utterly ALIEN looking "vehicle" called DOME.::

I am prepared to carry you back to Minerva's Aerie...

:: In case Morgan was not well enough to teleport...::

His eyes narrowed, and his voice sounded almost like a growl.

“Alycia, she needs a doctor NOW.”

“Oh no, no WAY. You are not putting Delilah in THAT thing!”

They were wasting time, which Delilah didn’t have. Why were they so intent on keeping him from taking her to a doctor? Why did they have to get in his way at EVERY turn? The one thing he knew was that they could not stand here fighting.

He exhaled.

“Okay. Do what you have to do. Just get her help.”

Outside of melrose place

<< Morgan was shocked and yet somewhat relieved to see ALYCIA BARNETT. From the look of her, she was quite well and she had come here at Harbinger's behest. That was all Morgan needed.>>

<< Morgan frowned with disapproval as Bishop responded to Alycia>>

<< Bishop, never quite willing to trust or rely on Delilah's friends, objected and remained determined to do things his way. Alycia didn't back down.>>

<< Morgan saw "Dome"...what the hell WAS that? Clearly something that either came from Minerva's Aerie or Themyscira. Curious and impressive as it was...there was no time. Not even THAT could get there there BEFORE the Blue Moon cemented itself in the night>>

NO! There's no time! The Blue Moon is nearly 100% If we don't get there now it will be too late!

<< She steps forward among them>>

We're going...right now!

<< thrusting her hands up, chimes and thunder sound off as a stepping disc opens beneath them AND Dome and in the twinkling of the sorceress' violet eyes, they are teleported from LA, across the world to Minerva's Aerie in the middle of a raging Aegean Sea. They arrive inside, in the infirmary, with another disc opening to set DOME outside on the helipad of the mansion>>

And so...

<< The Blue Moon is nearly at hand.>>

<< It is now a race against time and the hope for a brave and successfull stand against Circe that will determine how things go.>>

<< Delilah has fallen, but in her last moments, she knew something was wrong. Something much more than what Sharon or anyone else had told her. Now, the beginning of her own night of peril as at hand, as a difficult pregnancy now will turn into a life threatening labor.>>

<< Bishop, once again, has been pulled back into Delilah's life and thus, the Six's life. Their paths seem forever destined to overlap no matter what any one may wish.>>

<< Will he or any of them be able to alter the outcome of Harbinger's ultimate vision?>>

<< we must watch and see...>>
