World's deepest fish: Record broken by rare fish, 27K feet down in sea [VIDEO]

------------------------

At depths that blew the previous record out of the water, the world’s deepest fish known to humankind now resides at nearly 27,000 feet (26,722 feet to be precise). It was discovered far down within Mariana Trench, revealing that while we may know many things about this planet we call earth, there are still many mysterious left to explore. The press release notes that the snail fish was found on a new undersea expedition within deep Pacific waters.

Fascinating! I've often wondered what kind of creatures lurk in the deepest areas of the ocean far beyond the reach of humans or human technology. There really are parts of the world that are "other worlds".

How cool! I would love to get a chance to explore the depths of our oceans [although that seems unlikely as it's probably way too expensive for me lol].

You got to wonder what is down there.
I like to think that it is something big that we haven't discover yet.

That would be awesome. :)
