Challenges and Betrayal

Zeus could feel his energy leaving Spellbinder's body and being sucked into something else. Someone else! His power level began to drain while Morningstars elevated. Being thrown out of Morningstar's body, Zeus was weakened, but still kicking. Pushing himself from the ground, Spellbinder used his moment of weakness to attack, punching his jaw upward, nearly shattering it. Stumbling back dazed, she hit him once again, completely shattering his jaw this time. Zeus was built like a bull, but Spellbinder's massive hit, combind with his body energy being drained by Morningstar, he was definitely not at his best.

Flying back, Zeus slammed into the jagged stone floor, before tumbling to a stop. Laying on his back, he rolled his head from side to side, groaning out in pain. Opening his eyes, what he saw nearly stunned him. Hera! She was alive. Feeling her hand on his cheek, Zeus wanted to call out to her, to speak with her again, but he couldn't. His jaw was completely destoryed.

"Hera...my love. I saw you die at the hands of Hecate."

Using his mental link between himself and his wife, he began to telepathically 'speak' with her. But she did not respond....Putting his hand on hers, he tightly squeezed it.

"Hera?"

Again, she did not answer. It was a trick! That other blonde woman! She must be manipulating her body or his mind. Regardless, she would not get away with it. Pulling 'Hera's' hand away from his cheek, Zeus bent her hand back, snapping the bones with ease. Even in his weakened state, his strength was still phenomenal. Rolling away from the image of Hera, Zeus slipped his fingers under a broken slab of stone, lifting it into a throw, sending it hurling it toward Morningstar. Extending his hand out as the stone slab was in the air, cuffs of energy bound around Morningstar's ankles and wrists, preventing her from moving. Even though she seemed to manipulate energy or forms of energy, Zeus was banking on the fact that it would take her time to absorb the cuffs into her own body, allowing the stone slab to crush her.

Olympus

As events unfolded further around him, Nicolas lay in the pentagram of protection. In the fighting, it may have been hard to notice that his body was healing. His color became more healthy and he seemed to revitalize as he lay there. However, his eyes were still rolled back in his head, his mouth agape as his mind feverishly tried to cope with what had occured. It had begun the process of reviving and refreshing him, but it was anyone's guess as to how long that process would take.

It appeared for now that he would survive, but it remained to be seen how Rampage would emerge from such a traumatic event...

Olympus

[ Hecate groaned as her eyes began to flutter and she opened them. the place reeked of violence and death. blood was on the floor , destruction all around, and as she turned her head over, she saw the body of Persephone]

[her voice was still weak as she began to feel the aching pain in her body.]

Persephone!!

[she coughed as she struggled...she saw Rampage, the Harbinger...but they were alive. across the way, Black Widow was decapitated and Aphrodite had been brutally mutilated by Spellbinder]

[Hecate despised the Olympians, but THIS...this was not what was supposed to happen!]

shadows galore....this is ...monstrous

[ Hecate's head ACHED. Zeus definately packed a wallop when he needed to but she was back to consciousness now and not a moment too soon. from the look of things...the red moon had gone off with a bloody bang. casualties from BOTH sides and Spellbinder and MorningStar were the only ones left while Athena and Zeus were left from the olympians. both sides looked worse for the wear.]

[ she struggled to get to her feet. Spellbinder was down and about to be TRAMPLED TO DEATH by an army of golden energy horses ridden by amazons while MorningStar had just been injured by Zeus! the team had failed to save Persephone and now the last two standing were about to fall! NO , it couldnt end like this..it wasnt supposed to!]

[ the horses were about to crush a badly stunned Spellbinder and MorningStar's wrist had been shattered and Zeus was about to attack her. This was enough. Hecate would not see them destroyed by these Olympians even though the Six had managed to force the Olympians to sustain heavily damage and loss as well....]

NO! STOP IT!

<< Hecate screamed as she finally stood up right and thrust her hands out ala' Piper Halliwell and STOPPED TIME and SPACE all around the battle, subjecting Athena, Zeus and their attacks to temporal stasis along with MorningStar. Morgan, a witch, would be immune to this attack just like in their own modern time where witches didnt freeze. With an odd sound that echoes throughout the halls of the mountain, EVERYTHING stops. No sound, no movement and in an odd sort of way, it clears away the chaos with peacefull silence. the amazons and horses of golden sparkling hue are frozen; Athena Zeus and MorningStar are also now still.]

[ Hecate herself breathes out slowly as she looks around, and sees a stunned Morgan, slowly raising up and rubbing her head. Hecate moves over to her.]

You have quite a nasty bump on your head.

[ helping up the sorceress, Hecate looks rather sad and regretfull as she surveys the area.]

this is not what was supposed to happen..

[ Hecate knew that by doing what she was about to do, the damage to BOTH sides would be undone...but the MEMORIES would REMAIN...a haunting reminder of the dangers of contaminating a timeline as well as painfull lessons for each of the Six. Hecate would NOT be able to take away the curse rendered upon Morgan by Aphrodite and none of the Six would soon forget the pain that they suffered in this battle. Persephone would perhaps learn the greatest and most needed lesson of all through all this.]

Time MUST be reset...in order to ensure that things happen the way history details them...in order to ensure that we all meet our destiny in the way it was meant to be.

[ knowing that she would not be able to enjoy murdering Hera]

go to your friends. I will do what must be done.

[ a soft melody of chimes plays in the still air as Hecate slowly raises her hands to the open night sky, the red moon still glaring and hanging low, a testament to the rage and bitterness that still festered in Hecate's soul]

Winds of time, gather round
Let these before me enter a passage way
To the recent past, events still fresh
Let today become yesterday!

[ the haunting toll of a cosmic clock floods the air as time begins to reset itself. the stars themselves turn counter clockwise and the events of the battle began to blur as things turn back and reset themselves...even the sounds move in reverse and like a conductor of a symphony, Hecate directs it all in one final wave as a the cosmic clock strikes 12 and in a flash of light, everything resets. all death and injury is undone, structural damage as well...its an errie sight to behold.]
