Columbia Lines Up Four for Beowulf

Columbia Pictures is in talks with Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, Brendan Gleeson and Robin Wright Penn to star in director Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf, reports Variety.

The performance capture film is based on the Old English epic poem about a knight who slays a monster and becomes king.

The film was written by Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman.

You think so? I have no idea.... its been awhile since I've read this book I am curious to see how well they are going to transulate it over to the big screen though, I hope they don't slaughter it...
