As Alison burst in the room, Delilah stood up. Before she could speak, Nicolas had been sent backwards through the very wall of the house.

"Alison wa-"

But then she herself was on the receiving end of some extra powerful TKing from Alison. She instinctively threw her arms out in front of her, creating a forcefield between herself and the bed. Everything had gone so wrong so fast. But they had to stay alive long enough to convince Alison who they were.

"Alison! Please, stop! It's not what you think - he's not the one who killed Morgan! Let me explain, please!"

Just as he tentatively felt the child reach his mind, Ava and Alison burst through the doorway. She screams at him in predictable fashion. He responds as she goes to work.

NO, wait a min--

He is the HURLED through the wall, stairs, and down a floor. Her power fueled by hatred was amazing, but he was not unprepared. He managed to manifest a shield that would protect his body, so he was 100% as he landed a floor down to her screaming threats. She then turned her attention to Delilah, pinning her against a wall before attempting to crush her with a bed.

Nicolas teleported back to the fray, holding a hand up. The bed disintegrated long before it would have hit Delilah as Nicolas tried to speak with Alison.

Seer, use your precognition, this is not how it seems!! If you mistrust me, at least listen to them!

:: As the two woman discussed their plans to break Karen out Tinkerbell made herself present. Persephone immediately picked up on her agitation as the feline showed images of Victoria's room where Delilah, Haleigh, and Nicolas were! Gasping in with wide eyes she and Alison both sprinted upstairs and burst into Victoria's room. Alison immediately went into the drill they had both taught Victoria many times before, and fortunately for them, Victoria was quick enough to errect a pentagram of protection before any harm came upon her. ::

:: Alison immediately sent Nicolas flying through the bedroom and into the livingroom, followed by hurling a bed at Delilah. ::

"And I can't believe YOU [Haleigh] of all people would HELP THEM!"

:: And with that, what sounded like freight train began to rumble the room as the large colonial styled painted glass windows exploded into the room via a gail force blast of wind, hurling shards of glass every which way. The winds englufed the room, picking up EVERYTHING, including Haleigh, like she were rag dolls. Seeing Nicolas teleport back into the room, Ava pointed at him. ::

"You have a lot of BALLS showing up here, King! Balls that will be mounted over the fire place momentarily you son of a BITCH!"

:: Lifting her arms out to the side, lightning charged out from her body like a metal conductor and straight for Nicolas, Delilah, and Haleigh. ::

Nicolas' hand went up as all of the wiring in the house created a mesh that absorbed the voltage, drawing it to the ground to which it was connected. The light show was hellacious, but short-lived as Nicolas looked at Ava. He immediately transmitted what brought them here and who they were to Ava. SHE knew what HE knew. Would she believe it was another matter altogether.

Ava, take a minute and think about what I just sent you!!! I am not from this time! I didn't do anything to ANYONE!!!

Delilah closed her eyes and reached out with her fingers, absorbing the "light show" that was a byproduct of Ava and Nicolas' sparring match. She used the power to bolster her own shields and spread it out to protect Haleigh and Mike as well, since Nicolas could cover himself with his own shields.

"Alison! At least, please blink the child out of the room so she doesn't have to watch this...Please! We're not going to fight you. Give us 30 seconds to explain - and if you still don't believe us you can attack us again."

Alternate Alison

:: as Pesephone backed Harbinger's play, this Nicolas was as resilient as theirs, but this one....he kept trying to talk almost PLEAD with them and Delilah....still as "holier than thou" as ever...but she wasnt quoting the letter of the law, she wasnt making efforts to remove Victoria from Alison and Ava's custody like she initially tried to...::

Delilah said:
"Alison! At least, please blink the child out of the room so she doesn't have to watch this...Please! We're not going to fight you. Give us 30 seconds to explain - and if you still don't believe us you can attack us again."

:: she pauses....Delilah, showing CONCERN for Victoria OUTSIDE of trying to capture her?? what did this MEAN?::

Victoria, upstairs, QUICKLY, the way MOMMY does it. to the Darkhold, stay in your pentagram of protection.

:: poor Victoria was visibly terrified....but as Alison commanded her to evacuate, she could see the gentle glint in Alison's cobalt blue eyes as she looked upon her...Alison nodded that it was "going to be okay"...::

:: but before the seer could even began to entertain these WILD ideas that Delilah was suggesting, Alison narrowed her eyes as Nicolas rebounded, interferring once AGAIN as they BOTH kept saying "it wasnt how it seemed". she couldnt tolerate this. this man, powerfull as he was, defending against all attempts to destroy him. just as he had done all he could to circumvent JUSTICE when Alycia tried her hardest to convict him. ::

HOW ELSE CAN IT BE!? THERE'S ONLY ONE MONSTER WHO KILLED MORGAN AND ONE TRAITOR WHO IS BEHIND THIS HERE!

:: Nicolas was reaching out to Ava with his telepathy...::

stay OUT of her head ...you LYING, MURDERING ASSHOLE!

:: thrusting her hands out...ala' Piper Halliwell, Alison BLASTS Rampage in the CHEST, again with 10X the power. she intends to leave a gaping, FATAL hole in his chest...the blast, would leave him on the floor and effectively UNABLE to fight them due to his injury. even WITH his healing factor, it would take more than a few moments to recover from this. ::

GET OUT!!

:: screaming at Delilah::

Get the HELL OUT before i KILL YOU TOO!

:: Images entered her mind via Nicolas' power. Closing her eyes for a moment Ava shook her head as they finally stopped. He pleaded with her to think about the images and trust him, Ava narrowed her eyes in disbelief. ::

"You honestly believe I would TRUST what you just sent me? You can manipulate any telepathic feed you send to a person!"

:: Hearing Delilah shout above the chaos about Victoria being in the room, Ava was so wrapped up in anger that she had completely forgotten that she was still in there. ::

"Oh, don't pretend like you give a DAMN about her, Delilah. The minute you turned your back on Morgan was the minute you turned your back on her little girl."

:: Victoria was crying, huddled in a ball in the middle of the pentagram of protection. Ava was the nearest to her; she wanted to scoop her up and take her out of the room to get her away from the fighting. Unfortunately the pentegram prevented her from doing so. ::

"Victoria....Victoria, listen to me sweetheart! Use your stepping disc and go upstairs into the attic. Use your pentegram of protection until we come up to get you, do you understand me?"

:: Victoria looked over at Alison who encouraged her to do as Ava said. Finally, the little girl disappeared from her room and up into the attic. Looking at a battered Nicolas, Ava backed her way over to Alison, standing next to her. ::

Glad to be back down on solid ground, Delilah held up her hands in a "wait" gesture.

"Alison, Ava. You both have every right to be angry. But the people who did those things, that wasn't us. We're...from another timeline. I know it sounds crazy. We're trying to make sense of it all ourselves, but... We came here to find OUR Alison and Ava - and your little Victoria sensed us and brought us here. We meant you no harm. We need your help."

Delilah stood perfectly still, waiting for a response. Her body was tense, ready to repel another attack if it came, but hoping that it wouldn't. She let her pleading and the truth of it reach her eyes. Alison would sense the truth, she just had to.

"They're coming."

Haleigh said simply, as Alsion and Ava began a mad dash from the kitchen to 'rescue' Victoria. Haleigh disappeared briefly, then reappeared in the same spot. At first it seemed pointless... but as Ava tried to sweep her away in a torrent of wind and debri, it became apparent: Haleigh wasn't actually 'there' anymore... it was a holographic projection of her and all the debri passed through it harmlessly. Nicolas, Delilah, and Mike did their best to fend off some of the other attacks and pleaded for the Alternates to listen. Haleigh's hologram flickered but remained in place...and her voice emanated from BEHIND Ava and Alison. Haleigh HERSELF was standing behind them, leaning against the frame of the doorway they'd just stormed through. Her tone was steady, and had an almost tranquilizing lilt to it.

"Everyone needs to calm down. Think about it for a second, Alison, Ava. We're HERE.... in your HOME. We managed to get inside, UPSTAIRS, without the knowledge of an immortal goddess and a PRECOGNITIVE witch. The girl was RIGHT in front of us. We COULD HAVE hurt her. We could have hurt you ALL and you wouldn't have even KNOWN what hit you. But She's FINE. YOU are fine. 100% UNHARMED and in FACT.... Victoria wasn't even frightened until YOU TWO came busting in here and freaked her out. So let's all just RELAX.... lower our VOICES, and talk like RATIONAL adults.... because I KNOW I can't be the only RATIONAL adult LEFT in this dark, demented alternate reality."

Haleigh said, moving over to a small overturned tea party table. The girl's room was pretty, though now trashed. Haleigh righted a windswept, child's-sized chair and slowly took a seat in it. Delilah had already said that they were from another timeline.

"Look, if you feel you can't trust any of THEM, then at least trust ME. Delilah is correct. We are NOT the Haleigh, Delilah, Mike, or Nicolas you are familiar with. We were dropped into this reality via stepping disc earlier today. We've been trying to figure out which end is up ever since and we've determined that THIS timeline is a particularly GRIM one. In an attempt to help find and rescue our OWN Ava and Alison, we ended up here. We can't be on our way until another stepping disc appears.... but everything happens for a reason. I think on some subconscious level, OUR morgan may have sent us here to help. EVEN IF she didnt.... we would ALL[gesturing to the others] like to offer assistance anyway. We know about your plans to rescue Karen. I've crunched the numbers... it's a long shot... but it can be done. Hell, we've pulled off crazier plans before."

Alternate Alison

:: Alison GLARES at Delilah with such hatred, her being here is the ultimate intrusion, and bringing this man...even if he WASNT "their" Nicolas....any reminder, any FACET of him...it was TOO much!::

:: Nicolas was down for the moment and Alison and Ava stood together, glaring at Delilah and Mike. the room was severly damaged, and the tension was thick...the dust settled and Alison spun around as Haleigh was standing BEHIND her. a trick, the OLDEST and most ELEMENTARY of tricks. in her old days when she was a freely demonstrative with her magick and powers, her power as a precog would have allowed her to easily anticipate this move, but these days with her being borderline manic, and often distracted or in the throws of grief, her precognition was often over shadowed.::

:: Haleigh spoke, appealing to their sense of reason. HOW DID they get in here so EASILY....::

Victoria...

::she must have teleported them INSIDE. deep down, she sensed the temporal anamoly around each of them...and Nicolas too, though his was different. he was not "inhabiting" the body of his alternate as the others were. his alternate was DEAD. maybe...maybe they WERE telling the truth. ::

....cross time alternates. something that we dealt with in times past. but not for a long time...not since Morgan's death. NOTHING has been the same, since Morgan was MURDERED....

:: she said with bitterness as she tossed a disdainfull glare at Nicolas. she slowly relaxed her posture a bit, folding her arms as Haleigh slowly sat in a chair, and continued to appeal to theier sense of calm and reason. ::

Oracle said:
it was EASIER for alternate alison to trust haleigh. in this timeline, Haleigh and Alison had grown close after Cameron's death. Between Morgan, Alison, Ava, Haleigh, Delilah and Nicolas this team had many close bonds that intertwined, WITHOUT so much of the dischord that mainstream Six had experienced through its various rosters. they [alison and haleigh] worked well together, serving as co-leaders in Morgan's absence during her pregnancy. In the immediate aftershock of Morgan's b rutal rape and murder, Haleigh was instrumental in keeping Alison AND Karen from completely breaking down mentally....but Haleigh was torn between the shock of what happened and desperately searching for a REASON behind Nicolas' inexplicable actions. She never got the chance to investigate...not after Karen exacted revenge. Revenge that nearly everyone, INCLUDING Haleigh felt was JUSTIFIED but the moment she showed sadness of Nicolas' death...Ava and Alison IMMEDIATELY turned their backs on her and so...she lost AGAIN...her whole family fell apart.::

You...you know about our plans to rescue Karen?

:: looking at Delilah.::

But I cant trust HER. She's been a sell out from the beginning. she BARELY captured Nicolas. it was almost like...like she WANTED him to escape but she was only TOO GLAD to apprehend KAREN when she killed him in return for killing Morgan. It was like she was just in TOTAL AGREEMENT with Rick Riley's assessment of witches and witch craft...all because of her bastard boyfriend ...."BISHOP"...the one who was on a CRUSADE against witches ever since his wife and daughter were lost in the INFERNO.

and now she's HERE. She's tried to take Victoria from us....SEVERALTIMES but she knows...that if she lowers the boom on US, we'll expose HER for being a MUTANT.

She SHOULDNT be here!

:: the hostility in ALison's tone against Delilah felt like a hammer against bone. Alison was STILL not yet fully adjusted to the fact that these BODIES were inhabited by ALTERNATE consciousness and spirits. For DELILAH, its disheartening to see how her alternate's friendship with this alison and ava was all but destroyed behind Morgan's death. ::

We thought you were here. to take Victoria...to hurt her.

Ava and I...we're all Victoria has left. Sharon is our only ally...the only one who will STAND BY US in public as well as private....but we're going to try to rescue Karen....I...WE owe her that much...I blame myself...for not KNOWING what was going to happen....and to this day...I can't figure out WHY my powers of precognition didnt detect what Nicolas would do to Morgan......

:: she covers her face...as she tenses up..trying to fight back the grief and the GUILT.::

I can't let Karen die for this....I WON'T. HE was evil and he DESERVED to die.

:: she looks up with a grim face at Haleigh::

but the odds...are stacked against Ava and I. They know us...our powers...they THINK we are out of the country, my spells and Ava's manipulation of the weather around this area have kept MOST people from noticing/seeing our home. once we go there...that's it....we may not come back. We've already asked Sharon to come and stay with Victoria and if need be...escape with her to Ava's villa in Greece....

:: there was a sense that Alison already knew this wouldnt end well...and indeed, this timeline could have already played itself out BEFORE mainstream six arrived. that was the mystery of time travel in Limbo.::

I've taught Victoria a spell, that will allow her to contact Ororo...Sharon and Victoria will have a chance to live free, and FAR AWAY from the nightmare that this place has become, thanks to people like Nicolas...and sell outs like DELILAH.

Every word Alison said lashed at her like thorns. How could her alternate have let things get so bad between them? Her eyes betrayed the hurt she felt - it felt as if it was their own Alison saying these things, and reminded her of Alison's biting words to her both at Illustra and on Aerie. She just couldn't believe that she would betray Karen for Morgan's murderer, that she would join forces with Rick Riley. There had to be more to the story, there just had to be.

But perhaps she knew the answer. Because hadn't her own actions in their timeline been fueled by fear that EXACTLY THIS SITUATION would occur. That they would be exposed, using their powers above the law? Perhaps her crosstime self had felt arresting Karen was the only way to keep mutants and witches from being hunted down. But who really knew?

Alison mentioned Victoria again, and sending her away with Sharon. Delilah looked up from her thoughts, suddenly having an idea.

"Why don't you take her now? You and Ava - leave this place. Go to Greece. Let the four of us [indicates herself, Haleigh, Nicolas and Mike] rescue Karen. She can join you three later. And if we are caught in the process - Victoria doesn't lose anyone else she loves."

She paused for a second, looking directly at Alison now.

"I believe our Morgan sent us here for a reason, even if it was subconciously. Let us help you."

Alison said:
something that we dealt with in times past. but not for a long time...not since Morgan's death. NOTHING has been the same, since Morgan was MURDERED....

:: she said with bitterness as she tossed a disdainfull glare at Nicolas. ::

Haleigh sat forward a bit and interrupted:

"Please don't do that. [gesturing to Nic] OUR Nicolas.... the one you see before you.... his heart ACHES for remorse for what happened to this timeline's Morgan. One would have to be an empath to understand the true depths of his grief but I know him well enough to say that he would give a thousand sincere apologies to you, Ava, Karen, and Victoria IN A HEARTBEAT. Indeed... he would do it even if you refused to accept in advance. But it would accomplish nothing. Try though he most certainly would, he cannot right the wrong his alternate self commited, and all the apologies he would give, all the tears he would spill could not bring your Morgan back to you. And even if you gleamed some minute emotional solace, you would eventually realize that OUR Nicolas is NOT the culprit. His ALTERNATE is the one who caused so MUCH pain and ultimately, OUR Nicolas cannot be held responsible for something he cannot fathom ever doing or ever having done. His apology would lose its meaning to you before long... because though it came from the same mouth.... it was not extended from the same HEART as the one who raped and murdered YOUR Morgan so long ago."

Alison seemed to calm somewhat, and her interest was peaked when she learned that they knew about rescuing Karen. Haleigh began to answer:

"Affirmati-- I mean yes. [unapologetically] I was eavesdropping on your conversation with Ava before Victoria brought us into the house. My comrades and I were trying to determine when and how best to approach you and we were STILL trying to put together the puzzle pieces, so to speak."

But ten years of habit had turned Alison so against Delilah that even AFTER accepting that they were from a different reality, Alison didn't want to trust Delilah. Haleigh tried an appeal.... she could tell she had Alison's trust, at least. That was a building block.

"I understand your apprehension.... WE had a similar experience with OUR Delilah-- and our timeline's Bishop-- not too long ago.... and the result changed our lives forever. But you must know..... OUR Delilah OVERCAME the poisonous influence of her lover, and killed him to protect US, and in doing so she went AGAINST her own 'First, do no HARM' belief. It was a defining moment for OUR Delilah.... and I have EVERY confidence in her trustworthiness. [pausing pensively] and you know ME... if it's one thing I have EXTREME difficulty forgiving, it's TREACHERY."

Alison spoke of her plan to spring Karen, and Haleigh nodded as she followed along.

"It sounds very well thought-out.... in this timeline, you appear to be every bit the tactician that we know OUR Alison to be. But one thing you are lacking.... and you're obviously well aware... is FIREPOWER. Let us HELP you. We feel our attachment to OUR Karen bleed into concern for YOURS and we don't want her to die for doing what the justice system SHOULD have either."

Mike Mike pulled his weapons. With the poor way they were currently utilizing their powers, they were making easy targets. He was prepared to deliver a seriously debilitating shot to Ava when Nicolas intervened mentally.

Do NOT harm them. Under ANY circumstances!!

As Nicolas stood there 'speaking" with Mike who kept his weapons drawn but at his sides, Alison lashed out at him yet again. THIS time, her attack tore into him, ripping at his chest as he fell backwards. He was now no longer able to defend the others, although he was still capable of escape. He grasped his chest and listened at the ensuing exchanges, his mind still spinning with two things: bewilderment and more than a bit of ANGER.

He could not understand how he would have done such a thing. It seemed to be beyond whatever he could have imagined EVER. The rape of Morgan was the kicker for him. To say that he was incapable of ending a life, even hers, would be illogical; he had done so many times. But RAPE?! NO WAY. There was something more to this, and he felt on some level betrayed by both time and circumstances, primarily because he realized that if the chips were down, the only people who TRULY believed in him on the ENTIRE team was Haleigh, Morgan and Karen.

He understood that Karen's level of grief brought back the damage from Christopher and blinded HER reasoning. But the others? If the situation were reversed, he would be looking for the REAL reason the murder had occurred. He would never think that they had simply gone to such a dark place in their minds unbidden, even with some of THEIR past histories. But them? They simply didn't like him and so it was ONLY too easy to believe that his alternate was the culprit. No investigation needed.

As some actual talking seemed to finally be taking place, Nicolas stood back up, his chest healing nicely, although he was still weakened. He returned Alison's glare with an even gaze.

:: Turning around after hearing Haleigh's voice behind her, Ava saw her sister leaning against the molding of the doorway casually. Looking over her shoulder only to see the holographic image of Haleigh flicker away, Ava shook her head KNOWING better than to let her guard down around Haleigh, especially. Looking back at the real Haleigh, Ava kept a tight jaw as she backed what Delilah and Nicolas had tried to tell them earlier; they were from a different timeline. Watching as Haleigh sat down in a chair, Ava folded her arms across her chest, looking over at Nicolas, Mike, and Delilah....it was difficult to NOT view them as the back stabbing traitors that they had become...Even as Alison spoke to Haleigh in a more trusting manner now, Ava wasn't fully convinced. Eyeing the tightly gripped gun in Mike's hand, the goddess' dark emerald eyes narrowed, KNOWING he was itching to use it. Looking over at Nicolas now who slowly got back up on his feet, his even gaze toward Alison made Ava scoff to herself. ::

"That same look..."

:: She whispered under her breath with utter contempt. THIS Nicolas MAY not be the murderous bastard that Karen had killed, but he had the same mannurisms...the same distinctive looks. The cockiness and boldness that made Ava's stomach turn in disgust. Whether HE wasn't 'their' timeline's Nicolas, Ava wanted NOTHING to do with him. ::

:: Looking over at Delilah who suggested Ava and Alison go to Greece with Victoria while they attempt the rescue attempt for Karen, Ava firmly shook her head. ::

"Absolutely not. Alison and I will be LEADING the rescuse attempt. As for Victoria, she will be perfectly safe with Sharon."

:: Unlike Alison, Ava chose not to 'share' her feelings with these people. Instead being direct and to the point...all buisness with very little emotion. They very well may be from an alternate timeline, one where they did good for society, but that didn't change Ava's opinions about them..and it showed. ::

Nicolas smirked and looked DIRECTLY at Ava even as the comment tumbled from her lips. How utterly typical of her. God forbid that someone with a penis be self-assured or have any semblance of basic PRIDE in themselves. That was a feeling to be crushed or to be hated in those that could not be put under her foot.

The feeling's mutual Ava. And you won't be leading ME anywhere. You both are mentally compromised.

Mike could tell that this was going at best lukewarm. He had already made a contingency plan and he decided that a play did need to be made as Nicolas replied to a thought he apparently got from Ava. Mike held up a hand to quiet him before he made the situation worse, and spoke to the group. He first pressed a button on a communicator.

Nic's right. You two are understandably suffering, and combined with your distrust of our alternates, there is no way you could possibly lead us all into this without prejudice. Haleigh is best suited to lead in this situation.

Delilah felt this Ava was being unreasonable - so focused on trying to "stick it to the man" so to speak that she forgot about the welfare of the little one she was supposed to be protecting. BUT...this was not her battle, her time, or HER friend's child. But being content to hand Victoria off to yet ANOTHER caregiver, and to subject her to two MORE deaths in addition to her grandmother's...it just seemed cruel.

Nicolas bristled, the way he tended to. She resisted the urge to slap her forehead. She moved slightly to look at him and spoke under her breath through her teeth, the words coming out in a sing song manner.

"You're not help-ing."

Haleigh sighed as Ava proved to be her stubborn self, even after all these years.... the hybrid could sense that her own sister was reluctant to trust her.... but she didn't take offense. Whether it was because she was still emotionally detached.... or simply because she realized that it was a completely reasonable self-preservation habit on Ava's part.

"Of course, Ava. We don't mean to disinclude you.... Delilah only meant to spare Victoria the possibility of losing MORE loved ones. She's a child so touched by tragedy.... [pausing pensively] she must be a very strong little girl."

Nicolas was understandably growing tired of being the villan... and it was exacerbated by the fact that even in their OWN timeline, Ava wasn't very receptive to Nicolas. still....Delilah was absolutely right as she tried to drop the hint: he wasn't HELPING matters. Haleigh's gaze snapped to Nic and she rebuked him, partly to try and avoid another outbreak of violence.

"NICOLAS! You're hardly in any kind of position to be making those kinds of assertions.... if you don't want to follow HER, then by all means, continue to follow ME..... or else sit here on your hands. We're visitors in THEIR world, remember? We mustn't try to upset the BALANCE they've attained in the aftermath of their tragedy.... in many ways it's the only thing that keeps them TOGETHER. TRY to understand where they're coming from."

Mike offered a point of view similar to Nicolas' with a little less hostility... and suggested that Haleigh was the ideal fit for 'leader'. Haleigh responded.... her tone completely devoid of arrogance, and yet simply 'matter of fact', as opposed to being falsely modest.

"Mike, i agree with you. I am evidently the most stable person currently involved... and as such would be the most sensible 'leader'. However.... in addition to NOT wanting to usurp THEIR established heirarchy... I always preferred that any decision-making was SHARED amongst the Six. We should be a COUNCIL, not a RANKED administration."

Alternate Alison

:: Alison's heart churned with uncertainty, something that mainstream Alison hardly fell victim to, but THIS Alison had been traumatized in such a horrid way, they ALL had. Haleigh made perfect sense, but as Delilah suggested they take Victoria and run, and leave THEM to save Karen, Alison snapped back into her mode, protesting immediately with Ava.::

No! Karen is OUR responsibility. WE'RE her family and we OWE it to her. we couldnt save Morgan from that bastard...but we're going to do all we can to save Karen.

:: Ava mentioned Sharon.::

and SHARON , at least we can trust. She's been there...ever since she became the Silver Swan, she understands our position BETTER and she's not ONCE sold us out like Delilah...even in the public eye.

:: looking at Nicolas::

I always wanted to PUREE' you ...or rather your ALTERNATE, as Haleigh is so adamant on me remembering, with my telekinetic power and show you who your BETTERS were. I never liked your alternate. he was a deceptive, garish, silver tongued BASTARD and I suspect YOU are NO BETTER. Don't you EVER talk to Ava like that again.

GIVE me a REASON to do to you what i WISH to the goddess herself i could have done to your "alternate". you may not be of this world...but you're here now and this is OUR yard. you'll do it OUR way or GET THE HELL OUT!

:: yes, Ava and Alison were traumatized as was this world's Delilah and Haleigh. They shouldve all pulled TOGETHER but they didnt. they were torn apart and "the six" no longer had the "whole being stronger than the sum of its parts" to fall back on. Nicolas, in his mainstream timeline, was dangerously close to being ousted as well...he would REMEMBER HIS Alison's prophecy...could THIS Nicolas have been cast out as well and returned to exact murderous revenge on Morgan as a result?::

:: turning to Haleigh.::

I want them out of here. NOW. if you want to help us...we really have no choice but to accept the help but we're doing it OUR way...OUR terms. Meet us...in Illustra's underground parking lot in one hour...and we'll go from there.

:: it seemed that the key bridge here between the mainstreams and the alternates was HALEIGH. rather ironic twist considering past events in mainstream reality...but for now, it was the key and a strong one. Mike, Delilah and Nicolas would have to follow Haleigh's lead and SHE would be pretty much the ONLY one Alison and Ava would consider dialoguing with.::

by then, Sharon will be here, ready to watch, defend and if necessary...escape with Victoria.

:: but there was something more to it....Alison would DIE rather than see Karen be destroyed by the "establishment" under Riley with enforcers like DELILAH..but she ALSO wanted to find out if Karen had at least asked Nicolas WHY he'd done what he did....::

Alison reacted to Nicolas as Haleigh expected she would, but thankfully, there was no violence.... not YET anyway. As Alison responded to Nicolas, Haleigh gave him one of those looks. It wasn't particularly poisonous, nor pleading, rather, it was chastising. A 'please, for heaven's sake, just keep your mouth shut' look. Alison turned back to her and Haleigh stopped giving him the eye QUICKLY and turned her full attention to Alison.... but she could feel what little latitude they'd gained slipping away as Alison told them to LEAVE.... but at least she was talking civilly, even if it WAS ONLY with Haleigh. The hybrid got the distinct sensation that she was like that little dutch boy with his finger in the dam.... and it was a rather awkward position. She tried to interject.

Alison: I want them out of here. NOW.

"I understand, but--"

Alison: if you want to help us...we really have no choice but to accept the help but we're doing it OUR way...OUR terms.

"Of course, absolutely, it's just--"

Alison: Meet us...in Illustra's underground parking lot in one hour...and we'll go from there.

"You're REALLY tossing us out? Well, WHERE do you suggest we go? We're misplaced and disoriented and unfamiliar with the ways of this reality. I'm not certain we'll SURVIVE an hour on those streets. Obviously we can't be SEEN. [gesturing to Nicolas] HE is supposed to be DEAD. [gesturing to Delilah and Mike] THEY are high ranking officials who suddenly have NO idea what's expected of them, and I have become a recluse. I haven't been seen or heard from in three YEARS, except for wild rumors that happen to occasionally be true. We came HERE because we have no one ELSE we can trust."
