Awww this is really sad. My grandad, he has two cats. The oldest, Roxie, is actually as old as me, and I'm 16. By a few months ago, Roxie was constantly ill in one way or another, but she was really sweet and kept plodding along. Me and my mum were really close to Roxie cos we stayed at my grandads for about six months at the beginning of the year while our house was being fixed (broken roof).
Only, a month or so ago, Roxie was lying on the driveway, and my grandad's next door neighbour drove two of the wheels of his car right over her. Her tail was really damaged, so badly that it was actually twice the length that it used to be. When me and my mum went to see her at the vets, she was really ill, she couldn't control any of her bodily functions, yet she still kept trying to get up and walk towards us for a hug. And the really horrible thing? her back leg that had been run over, was longer than her other legs, longer than her tail even, so while three of her legs were walking normally, the back leg one was sticking out in front of her face, and she sort of skidded along.
By the time we came out, my mum was crying cos they had to have her put down, and I nearly cried, which is really unusual for me.
