So do YOU like it? Drink it?

I've tried, repeatedly, through the years to get into it, but I can't I don't mind the consistency of the beverage, but there's this odd taste/after taste that I just can't stand. Maybe I have yet to try some truly quality eggnog, I don't know, but so far, my experience w/ it has been BLEH LOL

Not sure how common it is here actually. In my family it has never been a tradition anyway.

We drink Glögg (mulled wine) during Christmas instead.

I like a little eggnog, very little. Like a half cup and that enough for the entire holiday but are we talking eggnog that just eggnog or eggnog that's like a drop of nog in a sea of bourbon cause i didn't learn till college that most people only drink their eggnog after they spike it into a substitute for lighter fluid

My ex`s mom made the best eggnog with dark rum, and she thought it was awesome that I would come by and get drunk and pass out on the couch at Christmastime. I fondly recall her tucking me in around midnight and me tucking her daughter in from 2 to 4 AM LOL!

Same here, we don't have Eggnog here, we will mull anything though, wine, whisky, cider....

Can you mull whisky?
Is that something you can buy? Don't think I've ever seen that available here.

Sounds great though. I would want to try it.
