:: Looking at the half burnt catfish (Kelly), Alexis had a look of disgust on her face. ::

"Damn...you make Chucky look like Cinderella, sweetie."

:: Suddenly, flames exploded around Kelly's body, forming into a circle. The flames stood tall around the woman....shielding her from the others. However the flames weren't the problem...the deadly smoke was. The red trail of smoke finally reached the blonde, circling around her like a snake. Coughing, the meta human quickly placed her palm around her mouth, trying to make her breaths shallow so not to take in too much of the smoke. Her lungs were burning, it felt like her chest was on fire...damn that psychotic hell hound. Luckily, Alison made the smoke around the room slow...allowing it to be easier to breathe. Either way, Alexis continued to hold her hand over her mouth and nose, trying to take in as little breaths as possible. ::

Haleigh watched as Erika finished the spell with Cameron... and as Cameron fell back... Hales went to his side... erika told her to leave him alone... and so she leaned back, knelt by him and stifling the urge to move closer... until Morgan spoke up, that is... Haleighs pale blue eyes seemed to burn with ferocity... she got up and went after Morgan.... how DARE that woman? Of course... it wasnt to be... because as soon as she got close and swiped at Morgan with her metallic arm.... Morgan disappeared.

Hales turned to face the group... Cameron asked her to find the book and destroy it... but Alexis was way ahead of her... and the book exploded into shreds before Hales could jump in and help... so instead she sunk into the background and waited for her chance... she didnt have to wait long. the room filled with red smoke...

H was prepared, and pulled on her protective mask quickly... before moving to help the others. Hales walked towards Alison... she was the nearest... and Hales SUPPOSED it was a good idea to keep Alison alive... as Alisoon seemed to be the only one Morgan wouldn't harm at the moment. Haleigh emerged through the smoke looking something sinister and otherwordly in the shape she was in... she had a gas mask on and her metal arm extended towards Alison to hand her a small canister that looked like an aresol spray can with a mouthpiece attached.... it was an air filter... it would help her breath through the smoke. Haleigh passed them out to everyone... and turned to face Kelly.... she had a bone to pick with her any way. The smoke hide Hale's movements... she was able to creep right up on Kelly... and snatch her up by the throat. "Here Witchfire.... hold this for me." She uppercutted the battered psychopath... hard enough to implant her head into the ceiling above them.

:: Coughing, as much as Alexis tried to shallow her breathing, the smoke inevitably made it's way into her lungs. The burning sensation was horrible....even her eyes were watering from the red smoke burning them. But thank goodness for Haleigh. Grabbing the gas mask, Alexis immediately put it on, covering her entire face. Screwing the oxygen bottle onto the mask, she took two large puffs in, and soon, began to breathe clean air. Still coughing a bit, Alexis didn't really need to do anything more. The King's obviously wanted to kill Kelly all on their own...so there was really to do other then to wait and be on guard in case there was an attack leashed out toward her or the entire group. Making her way to the doorway of the room, she kneeled down looking to Blaze seeing that her body was continuing to heal. Staying there, she turned her glance away from Blaze and watched the others....she'd probably be more of a help protecting an unconscious Blaze then twiddling her thumbs in the corner of the room awaiting this night to be over with. ::

:: Cameron had been piecing it all together in his head now. The spell and the loss of the powers of his siblings and his mother. The only ones with any advantages now in the group would be the mutants and metahumans. Haleigh and Alexis would be Cameron's only allies left in this battle unless anyone wanted to make it physical. Prophet had felt more super charged than he ever had in his life. The rush of having magick in his blood had made him more than prepared to take on Kelly powers wise. He took this opportunity. He stepped up to his mother who had been punched up into the ceiling by Haleigh and was now on the floor recovering. He grabbed her by the throat not using his any powers at all but now the sheer power of a man being stronger than a woman. He lifted her up as his eyes filled with rage as he flew her back into another corner of the wall. Hey everyone else had knocked her into something during this and far be it for her only son to get in on the action. ::

"How does it feel to be unwanted MOTHER! To feel ABANDONED!?! HATED AND REMORSED!?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA THE AMOUNT OF PAIN I SUFFERED?! WHAT I WENT THROUGH ALONE! ALL BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOUR HUNGER FOR POWER! NOT AGAIN! IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!"

:: He stood before her as he placed his hands over her head. Now that she was powerless so was her mind against his own powers. Quickly probing her mind he established a mental link. She would know feel his anger and his sorrow and rage multiplied a thousand times. She would see the images and feel the wounds. Cameron hardly ever used this aspect of his premonition power because he could almost never channel it properly but the night and the energy in the room made him know that he could. Without warning bright green crackling and sparking energy began to flow from his hands and into the temples of Kelly's head. He was using his power of premonition agressively.. channeling his memories of the past and his pain and suffering as one almost supercharged premonition. Though this wasn't just psychic energy that he was channeling into her. This focused energy was much more like a high blast of electricity that people only well versed in energy manipulation could create, like Shockwave. He levitated in the air as did Kelly as the memories and visions flashed before Kelly's eyes. She felt every heartache, every pang of suffering and lonliness and not only that but she saw it (Think Phoebe in Morality Bites). Soon the energy became so high that not even Cameron could contain it as both were blasted back a few feet. Cameron felt into the arms of his sister while Kelly fell back into the Pentagram of Protection cast by Spellbinder previously assaulting her body with dark magick. She fell almost life less to the floor. He cast a look at Guardian. There were tears welled up in his eyes because though he wasn't victim to the attack he still had to relive them which made this a very emotional time for Cameron. He was vulnerable and raw right in front of Alison. He looked at her with great intensity ::

"Give me.. the Siege Perilous.. Please Alison.. I am asking you... as a sister... Let me be the one to kill her.. after that I don't care where we go but please for once.. show me compassion.. show me that there is a thread of care in there for me.. please..."

:: He was actually almost getting choked up, his chest heaving up and down trying to recover from his attack. The only question was would Alison break down her ice encased heart to give over the power to Cameron? ::

::Guardian had been crouched down to the floor...allowing her a slightly easier time than others who had remained up right. taking shallow breaths and keeping her mouth and nose covered....she remained still as she clutched the Siege and slowed the progression of the smoke around the room.....it was the best she could do. while her magick might have failed her, her own powers over time did not. it meant the world of difference between barely coping..and dying. Soon though, help came from a most UNLIKELY source..as Black Widow offered her a Gas Mask! ::

::Guardian looked at it..and then looked up at Black Widow...slowly taking the mask...and placing it over her nose and mouth..Allowing her to stand up. Her face was serious..but not as forbidding and unforgiving as it usually was when she gazed at Haleigh. She knew that there were bigger things to worry about. even as THIS situation was coming to a close...she knew what lay ahead for Haleigh and Cameron...for once...she felt SORROW for the both of them::

::as Cameron had his vengeance on his Mother....Alison wandered in her own mind's eye. She looked ahead, to a life WITHOUT Kelly...without the nagging feeling that her "Family" could show up at any moment and interrupt her life AGAIN like they had done for this caper. But even though she new some strides would be made. Cameron and Erika were not going anywhere just yet. She would have to sort things out with them...not because she wanted to..or because they could make her..which they couldnt...but just BECAUSE.::

::as the situation reached its critical mass...Kelly was at her end....her body so battered and broken...Alison took comfort in the fact that she had SOMETHING to do with that...knowing that she had afought her mother before...and showed her mother just how much she hated her. she was content to allow this to the way it did.::

::Guardian held on to the powerful mystic gem...as Cameron came to her...with such intense conviction. It took her aback..she stepped back a from him..and pulled her body back...a sign she didnt want him NEAR her..or touching her. She recoiled at the idea of him imploring her as a SISTER to him. it sickened her......but for a brief moment....as she instinctively "looked ahead" with her foresight.....she saw the baby cameron...and Morgan grasping him...with that demonic gleam in her eye. She REMEMBERED what she had said to Blaze hours earlier. Even IF she despised Cameron...there was more at stake than just her will prevailing. The Gem was HER'S Ororo gave it to her to guard...but at this moment..this hour so dire...she heeded that slight inclination in her marble hard heart...and extended her arm out...opening her gloved hand...and giving the gem to Cameron::

:: She had given him the Siege Perilous. Something that Ororo gave her as a personal gift. She was extending it out for Cameron. It was quite the intense moment and deep down both of them felt somehwat of a mutual connection but that way deep down in the depths of each of their soul. Something they would most likely never speak about again. Still he nodded to Alison and grabbed the Siege Perilous from Alison's hands. He turned back to his mother and with a rage and intensity that scared almost every single person in the room he thrust it out at his mother and screamed at the top of his lungs ::

"THIS IS LONG OVER DUE YOU CRYPT KEEPER BITCH!!! DIE!!!!!"

:: Without warning the Siege Perilous' Ruby Gem glowed a bright Crimson Red before expelling it's ancient power onto Kelly. Energy swarmed out of the Gem and surrounded Kelly so completely that her body was almost not seen at all. The only thing that could be heard were her loud and intense cries as she was sent into the Final Cosmic Judgement. Before long she was enveloped in the crackling tempest like energy and sucked into the Gem before a blast of bright energy was cast out into the room knocking everyone on their feet and shaking the Tower to it's core. The stability was extremely low as the building began to shake and rumble. The gem was now in it's normal state as it glew red one more time before fading back to the beautiful ruby that it was. However, they were going to need to get out of the building and fast. Parts of the top of the tower began to fall to the floor and debris was splattering everywhere. Cameron looked to everyone. There was a complacent calm about him. He would be changed forever at this moment. He was free of that emotional burden. Of the stress about his family. He had found them all and though he may have had to kill one of the three of them as Elton John would say "Two out of Three Ain't Bad!" ::

"Let's blow this fucking Popsicle stand NOW!!!!"

:: Removing the gas mask from her face, the smoke had seemed to clear well enough to breathe outside of the mask. Alexis' blue eyes watched Cameron intensely as he held his mother by the throat. Frowning, she could see the pain emitting from him...the pain of reliving his memories. Parting her mouth, Alexis quickly stepped aside seeing Kelly fly by her....Moving her attention to the fallen Cameron, Alexis took a few steps forward, wanting to go to his side...but stopped. She stopped to watch the unthinkable. Cameron begging Alison to help him...to look past their differences...to look past their hatred. Alexis' blue eyes filled with tears....she couldn't help but find this moment heartbreaking. Cameron was on the ground, extending his hand out to Alison, wanting her to melt her heart of ice to help him once. It was a very powerful moment indeed, and the events there after only made it worth wild. Kelly was sucked into the Siege Perilous and finally destroyed. But the moment of victory was short lived....a massive energy wave erupted in the room, knocking everyone BUT her back...the energy was simply absorbed into her body. Looking to the others, Alexis' eyes shifted upward seeing a large portion of the ceiling falling. ::

"Let's go!!"

:: Yelling, she ran toward the exit and again lifted the wounded Blaze up, holding her weight on her one shoulder. Walking quickly down the stairs, pieces of debris fell around bother herself and Blaze, barley missing them. Finally reaching the bottom of the lighthouse, Alexis made her way out to a safe distance before laying Blaze on the ground. Turning, Alexis watched as the lighthouse slowly began to crumble....what a beautiful sight. ::

::Guardian closed her eyes. BLINKING out of the lighthouse...and appearing outside...away from the others...with her back to the group. Looking out to the stormy sea::

::speaking softly:: that part of my life is truly over....just in time for a new nightmare to begin. let me be STRONG enough to stand against....Morgan.

::thunder rumbled in the rolling clouds above. she didnt turn around..nor did she go to the others. she stood tall....her gloved fists clenched::

< Erika looked as the others left the Lighthouse as she stood before Cameron. She was so proud of him. He had finally gotten the revenge and closure that he had needed as did Alison and herself. That part of their life was now over. But from what Erika had seen with Morgan and what could potentially happen with all of this. She knew she had to talk to her brother. Placing her hand on his cheek Erika teleported out of the lighthouse and a few meters away from the rest of the group as she turned to her brother. >

"Cameron. I am so proud of you..."

< She embraced her brother into a hug before letting him go and looking at him with sincerity. >

"I know you don't plan on returning to the Six, but I really don't honestly believe that is the best thing to do right now. Things are going to happen in the future. I can tell. Nobody is going to be safe, Morgan is going down the same path that our mother went.. only worse. I can sense the change in her Cameron. You need to all stand strong and together on this next coming wave of battle. They need you Cameron and I need you to be with them..."

< Turning away she sighed heavily. This was extremely hard for her to do. He was so happy to finally reconnect with his sister and now she was basically pushing him away. It was for his own good. And besides, when the time game, Erika would be there again. As she had been there for Cameron since his birth. She put a loving hand on his shoulder. >

"Don't be too upset though Cameron.. I will be in New York City as well. I have a feeling I will be needed and besides.. I am not going to let anyone harm the brother who finally knows about me, no matter how stubborn you are!"

< Erika grabbed him in a headlock and gave him a friendly noogie. It all just felt so right between them. The brother and sister bond was there as if it had never been broken. For the first time in a long time Erika was truly happy. The two watched the Lighthouse crumble and burn to the ground. It was such an ironic thing to see. >

:: Cameron had done it. Kelly King was dead! It was finally over. Turning his gaze back onto his sister he was deeply happy with excitement at her stare. This was the first time in Cameron's life when he had ever made anybody happy. Like he had finally done something right. As his Sister teleported them down to the outside area of the lighthouse things went slightly more solemn as she explained herself. ::

"But I don't understand..."

:: She continued and Cameron was fuming inside. Why did she care what the hell happened to Morgan when Morgan obviously didn't give a damn what happened to him or anyone around her. It didn't make sense. He knew his sister was forgiving and genuinely saw the good in people but Morgan had like a null field for good around her. Anything true and happy was quickly sucked into the field without a second thought. He didn't want to rock the boat with his new found sister so he nodded as he kissed her on the forehead in a loving way and nodded ::

"Right now Erika.. I don't care what happens. I am just happy that I am alive..."

:: The night sky was now in full effect as the moon hung down in a Full Globe. It was truly the end of something and the beginning of something big ::

Haleigh's heart stopped, then sunk... Cameron was asking ALISON for something... he must have lost his mind... Hal had been surprised enough that Alison had even accepted the gas mask... it wouldn't have been unlike the woman to refuse anything hales offered and choked to death instead... but anyone other than Morgan and Blaze asking Alison for more than permission to BREATHE was being REALLY wishful.

However... to Haleigh's utter surprise... Alison actually DID hand it over... could it be? Had hell frozen over? Or was there something Alison had inhaled with the smoke that warped her sense of judgement? She said nothing... better not fuck up a good thing....

It was all over so quickly... and Cameron stood triumphant over his mother... Haleigh's heart fluttered... it was over... Cameron was safe... Kelly was dead... and Hales had done her part.... and then some. They appeared outside in the fresh air... and Hales allowed herself to finally sink to her knees. She had been stretching herself too thin... and now she had to pay for it. Her vitality came crashing down as though the thinning string that had held her together suddenly split. She sat back, as her metal arm melted away... it had been preventing her from losing too much blood... but it had certainly NOT fixed the problem.

"Erika... I think I need medical attention."

She muttered softly, breathless. She suddenly felt a little lightheaded... but the battle was over, everyone was safe... so now was a good time to let her body do what it wanted... there was no need to push herself any farther...

taking over.....

::Guardian heard all the noise behind her...everyone was relieved, happy, hopefull.::

::she herself was simply glad this was over because in THEORY it would mean that Erika and Cameron would be out of her life now. But of course...that was not to be. She heard Haleigh say she needed medical attention.....and lighting flashed across the night horizon.....as the waves seemed to pick up...the winds were RISING::

::speaking in a clear, yet worried tone..which was unusual for her:: I'm afraid you're going to need more than that. But regrettably..any possibe existence from Erika..or anyone else ...will come too late........::

::the winds began to whistle..and whip furiously....that could only mean one thing::
