i read a write up on this in a magazine at the grocery store recently. I saw Morgan Fairchild and Bo Derek and IMMEDIATELY thought "Melrose Place" :D

I didnt get to see the show..i think it was on tonight.

What do you think of it so far, Vil? does it have the makings for a hot night time soap in the tradition of MP and Dynasty?
 
Well I'm not sure it can be Dynasty or MP - but it's too early to really say. The format is a bit confusing to me - it shows 6 days a week for 13 weeks. So does that mean after that it's over and can't come back for more eps? That's the impression I got about it, but that seems pretty stupid if it ends up being good lol.

The catfight-y ness is really good in it. And it certainly is hot lol. I watched this and the first ep of the other telenovela they have Desire, and they really seem to be targeting the Latino market with them and trying to break into that Spanish telenovela market. I think it has potential, but I'm not yet sure if it's going to get there. I have enjoyed watching it so far, but it hasn't gotten to where I don't want to miss it every day.

IMO they need more hot guys (lol) and a likeable female character. The "heroine" Michelle sort of is too meek little housewife for me, but the bitchy model Tanya is ONLY a bitch - they don't make you love to hate her so to speak. I suspect we'll get to see more of the other characters as it goes along though.
 
i watched it TONIGHT. it is a VERY good show from what i've seen. Its got that style and glamor factor without "trying too hard." its got a hot, young, attractive cast and yet Bo Dereck still manages to look beautifull among her younger co-stars and the story seems to weave several subplots together.

you can DEFINATELY see the foreshadowing of Morgan Fairchild's character...they had her talking on the phone and would only show her mouth but it was easy to tell by her voice. I can almost GUESS that she's going to have something to do with the downfall of Bo Derek's characater.
i see a "krystle vs. alexis" relationship between those two.

i'm definately going to try to catch this when it comes on and see what developes.
 
Glad you liked it - you missed the eps where the two supermodels are beating the shit out of each other during a photo shoot while the photographer keeps taking pictures. The one got her hair pulled out lol
 
What time does this show come on and what channel? I'll have to check it out sometime. :D ;) Sounds pretty cool.
 
it's on right now actually, on the "my 20" channel. Bo Derek's character is named "Maria Gianni" and apparently she's sleeping with some guy to save her company and she's seeing a therapist who is taping their sessions and passing them to the man Maria is sleeping with lol.

thats what i've got so far. the show is definately intriguing to watch.
 
:nod: I caught it tonight, its not bad. Like I told you over the phone, it reminds me of Melrose Place, Models Inc., and Desparate Housewives. I have no idea what was going on lol.

I'm going to watch the recap for this weeks episode that's on at midnight. At least I'll have an inkling of what's going and who the characters are.
