RULES

- FULL COMBAT: physicality, powers (MoE/Character Type), spells, tailsmans, personal weaponry, enchantments

- Play within your level

- NO ooc/spam clutter

- NO fatalities (though you can remove your opponent from the battle by rendering them unconscious or unable to fight)

- Observe standard AHBL rules

- Session ends in 72 hours

:: Home to some of the best cat fights in the history of Television, the abandoned apart complex of Melrose Place lay in almost ruins. As you enter the courtyard, you see the infamous pool where some of the best and worst met their fate. Down stairs holds some of the smaller apartments where as upstairs holds some of the bigger apartments, including that of Amanda Woodward's. Leaves and vines and old furniture lay aswkew among the ruins and they are free game, but be careful, for it is not certain which spirits haunt these halls, and when they want a piece of you, they will take it. ::

## Alex smoked into the arena, Melrose Place, right next to the Pool in a creme brown leather pants and white turtleneck sleeveless top. She scanned the area, while waiting for her opponent patiently. ##

"Come on... I'm not all that patient.."
 
::A black spiral forms with a low rumbling noise as Devon appears::

"Hmmm... Lets get to some trashing..."

::Looks around to see only Alexandra available::

"Hey. Lets not waste time. Get rumbling."

::With a wave of his staff, Devon sends a wave of electric bolts surging right towards Alexandra at an alarming speed just for starters to get her attention::
 
:: Small tremors were felt in Melrose Place. The ground opened and a pile of clay burst from the opening. The pile of clay was slowly forming a human figure and there stands Jinx wearing a brown sleeveless blouse with matching black fitted leather pants. Her long hair was pulled down, shining at the streak of light...The ground closed again as if nothing had happened..::

::Jinx looks around and saw Alex and Devon alreadty fighting..she then patiently wait for another to arrive..::
 
## Alex heard Devon, turning around she saw the wave of electric bolts coming straight for her and her Amythest pendant glowed a bright purple, calling upon the powers of the Goddess Shiva as she froze the electric bolts into ice. Due to the pull of gravity, the bolts fall to the ground. ##

"I guess, your plan flopped."

## Alex rolled her eyes as she called upon the powers of a Fire Elemental, the Elemental Rapport, as her eyes grew a bright red, sending a heat wave towards Devon. ##

## Alex sees Jinxed enter, noticing that she is an elemental. ##

"Which elemental do you belong to?"
 
"Thats just the introduction..."

::As Devon noticed the eyes of Alexandra turning red, he braced himself for something hot which was quite intuitive considering she's a fire elemental. Indeed, the surrounding temperatures increased to an uncomfortable rate, suggesting an obvious heat wave. Devon's staff glowed, and under his mental command, he summoned the magics of rain, and the skys began magically raining. The waters poured over the entire Melrose place, effectively decreasing the temperatures and making it a much cooloer pleasant environment to do battle::

"She's an Earth Elemental, and i suggest you pay attention and not try make friends in a training."

::Getting an inspiration from Jinx, Devon knocked his staff on the ground, and immediately the grounds below Alaxandra shook slightly, and soon, the earth on the courtyard spouted forth and sprayed soil all over Alexandra as Devon invoked his earth magics. Then, cacti plant gradually greaw forth from the upsetted ground, bending itself around Alexander in a way cactuses don't ususallyy grow, and soon, the cactus has itself wrapping on Alexandra. THORNS and all.::

"Not trying to be mean but..."
 
:: A ripple of shimmers slammed through the air with their heat. Streaking the air around the shimmers crimson red. He appeared with his eyes black, his hair short and blone, and wearing his long black leather coat. ::

:: He smirked as he looked around, Hex was awaiting a good bloody war, something that he could sink his teeth into. He stepped foward, as he did so he clenched his fists. ::

"Anyone?"

:: He whispered........ This was going to prove to everyone that Hex hadn't lost his touch, by a long way. ::
 
::Rachel arrives at Melrose Place unnoticed. Everyone else seems engaged, with the exception of Hex--a man Rachel had fought at her last training session, one who managed to outfight her and badly injure her. She prayed that she would fare better this round, especially with her new weapon at her side. But she would try to keep Darkchilde's advice and only use it cases of severe emergencies to keep the element of surprise.

"Hex! We meet again."

::Rachel lets out an ear-splitting scream. She stayed behind some of the rubble that lay around Melrose Place. She had learned that the best way to fight Hex was to stay out of claw's distance from him.::
 
:: The room froze, everything stopping... Rachel's scream was ripping through the air but suddenly stopped. Hex looked around, spotting the Banshee behind some rubble. He shimmered next to her, and the room unfroze. He grabbed her shoulder, and picked her up. She was in her hands and he smirked happily as he slammed her down onto the floor. ::

:: As she was on the floor... he hinged his elbow.. the scream was peircing his ears, and he dropped to the floor, he kneedled by the side of Rachel.. hoping she would stop. He remembered from their previous fight that she used this attack alot, Hex stupidly forgot about this, and he didnt take the steps he should of to ensure that he would be protected this time. ::
 
::Rachel didn't know that he could shimmer. He had never shimmered during their last battle. She didn't expect him to be right next to her at a moment's notice.

::Upon being thrown on the floor, she could feel a giant bruise start to form on her back. Ready to retaliate, she screamed, surprised that her shriek was effective on him this time::

Maybe I'm improving...

::While Hex was distracted by her scream, she grabbed a rusty metal rod from the debris and lunged it at Hex' torso.::
 
:: The rusty rod hit Hex's torso, sideways. He could feel the pain and he threw his hands to the side unleashing his adamantium skeleton claws. They ripped through his skin, and blood trickled down them. He didnt mind as he was pretty pissed off. ::

:: He lunged himself onto Rachel, and repeatly stabbed the claws into Rachel's stomach. He then flipped back into a standing position. His eyes were black, and he started to levitate above the floor. He smirked at Rachel. ::

"Don't kid yourself."
 
::Rachel cursed herself for getting hurt again. She was incredibly tempted to use her new weapon, but she'd wait until she needed it the most. She decided to go with a more magickal maneuver.

::She stood up and faced Hex, looking him in the eyes to cast a paralysis spell::

"When our eyes look up to meet,
you will find moving a hellish feat!"

::Rachel smiled as she picked up another rusty rod, waiting for the spell to kick in.::
 
:: As he felt his legs go dead he knew what was coming, he waved his hands, and cast Rachel out of the thread for TWO posts.. she would be transported to an underwater grave, where she may suffer with breathing.. she would probably last underneath the water, but it was still dangerous. ::

:: Hex fell to the floor, in a heap. He didnt move.. he just lay there, awaiting for the spell to wear off. He closed his eyes, and just breathed in.. and oiut. ::
 
:: The shadows cast down by the ruined apartment complex begin to ripple in the offset of an oncoming arrival. From out of the rippling shadows jumps Ava. She is outfitted in bootcut jeans, and a white peasant top with a red ribbon like belt. Her hair is pulled back by a dark red Bandana and big hoop earrings hang from her ears. She really has the look of a modern day Gypsy, and she is ready to fight, looking around to see who could possibly be willing to fight with her ::

"Hello... would anyone like a go at me?"

:: Ok, so maybe sounding tough wasnt her thing, but people would soon know that regular Ava and Ava in Combat were two completely different people. ::

## Alex rolled her eyes in annoyance. Introduction? So was hers... ##

"I was not making friends.. just finding an ally..."

## As soil began to erupt from the ground below, Alexandra knew more or less what Devon had in mind, she called upon the powers of Atomos. He appears out of the sky, in a large, bird-form, as he uses his intellectual mind-power, dark rays of light connecting with Devon and draining his powers slowly. As Alex sees the cactus that rushes out of the ground, slowly waver. Alex then unleashed a major ballistic bolt of pure fire elemental chaos grenade on Devon when he was down, creating a concussive impact on him. ##
 
::From out of no where, a certain bird like figure appeared in the sky. Just as he was about to exclaim what the heck is that, Devon begans to feel his energy being removed gradually. Upon realising what is happening, Devon knew he had to counter this life draining by providing little life. His animal talisman glowed and where Devon stood, was a cockroach. Transforming into a cockroach had effective reduced his amount of life force. This reduced amount would probabaly confuse that bird thing, leaving him with a too small amount to suck effectively. The cockroach Devon then hurriedly spread its wings and flew out of the path of the black ray, and up as fast as he could, narrowly missing the fire blast.::

Oh man... too close for comfort...

::Cockroach Devon then flew straight towards Alex, and upon reaching a certain distance, the power of his animal talisman worked again, and he this time transforms into an elephant, just as he flies right above Alex. Devon, now an elephant falls right on top of Alex, possibly breaking a few bones as he lands on her. Devon then looked down, and used his trunks to slap Alex's body whatever is exposed several times with extreem force, and then he prepares for any reaction from Alex::
 
## As Alex saw Devon turn into a cockroach, she could also burst into laughter. She dismissed Atomos but as cockroach Devon flew towards Alex, she releashed her Elemental Rapport, annoyed by Devon's dodge of her chaos Grenade. As now he turned into a elephant, just as well, a Heat Wave surrounded him, causing several burns and if possible a heat stroke. As he was about to land above Alex, she sent a ballistic blast of chaos grenade once more, the impact sending Elephant Devon away from Alex ##

"Cockroach and Elephants, are we running a zoo here? Hm.."
 
::The moment Devon elephant felt the increased temperatures, he transformed back immediately due to his natural fear of getting damaged in animal form. Upon doing that, Devon fell to the ground, while looking at Alex blasting fire at nothing.::

"What kind of zoo contains cockroach? I'd like to have a look..."

::Having said that, Devon noticed the rain was going out, and invoked his magic once again, causing the rains to fall once more, effectively rendering Alex's heat wave pointless. The fire blast gradually was put out too. Then, Devon gave another wave of his staff, and from out of no where, a huge torrent of water began descending at Alex at a great force. Just as the water was about to reach Alex, Devon created a minature whirl wind in the midst of the waters, sucessfully churning the torrent of water, adding to the force of the water a whirlpool effect.::
 
OOC: I'm presuming those two posts must be made by other fighters, seeing as how my spell cast you out for two posts as well. And seeing that more than two posts have gone by...

IC: ::Rachel came back onto solid ground soaking wet as the spell wore off. She gasped for air. She thanked the powers that be that she was an immortal being. But that still didn't keep her from suffereing some kind of psychological trauma. She had been cast under water in a very closed compartment. She could still feel some of the watter in her lungs. Once she managed to cough all of it out, she took in a deep breath and looked at Hex, fury reflected in her crystal blue orbs.

::She let out a full-powered scream and started running towards Hex. She called upon her energon bracelet, transforming it into a gloved sword (much like that of the Witchblade) and lunged at Hex. Her sword may not have been able to cut through adamantium, but Hex still had flesh, and where there was flesh, there was blood. Rachel was out for blood.

::She drove her sword into Hex's stomach and twisted it before pulling it out.::

"How does it feel to have a taste of your own damn medecine?"

::Rachel then pulled the sword from his stomach and slashed him across the throat.::

:: Since Ava seemed to be the only one without a fight, she noticed Jinx standing around doing nothing, so Ava decided she would be the brave one and give it a go. Without warning, Ava ran full speed at Jink, as from inside her shirt she grabbed several of her mini daggers, which she was KNOWN for having great accuracy with as she threw them at Jinx at a speed of great intensity ::

"Hey Jinx, let's have a few rounds! I am sure you can deal with it.. just not sure you will LIVE through it!"

:: The Mini Daggers all fell at a different place, hitting Jinx with great force, pinning her to a wall, her arms and legs spread out on the wall as Ava ran up to the Elemental flipping forward, extending her foot and driving it hard up into Jinx's chin, before landing gracefully on her feet. She turned and smiled at the girl, pondering her next move ::
