Blaze couldn't believe her eyes! She remained out of the fight just watching as the drama unfolded and pandemonium erupted here. Nicolas would hotly argue his actions but none of the group wanted to listen to him at this point.

Nicolas would hurl Delilah through the air as Blaze yelled out to her friend. Her clenched fist would ignite with fire as it traveled up her body, no longer choosing to remain neutral here. But her concern for Delilah snapped her out of her anger to step closer to Delilah to help her up having extinguished her flames.

"D! Are you okay?"

But the blonde was pissed off to step forward as Ava returned out of no where dishing some painfully honest truth to him while Mike would attempt to usher his friend out but not before leaving with a few parting words.

"Pussy."

Shaking her head, Blaze couldn't believe Nicolas AND Mike.

"Is everyone alright?"

 

[Persephone]

As Mike approached, Ava rolled her eyes and moved away from the two men. Being in the proximity of one was nauseating enough, but the both of them? Ava couldn't tolerate it. Mike talked Nicolas down and he disappeared. They BOTH did. It was probably the smartest thing they had both done in quite some time.

"Pussy

"My sentiments exactly."

She said evenly to Blaze, who was nearest to Ava and checking on Delilah. Lowering her voice, she knew Morgan was still furious about the entire situation, so she didn't want to throw anymore fuel into the every growing flames.

[to Blaze] "How's my sister?"

"My sentiments exactly."

Blaze smiled over to Ava who had obviously thought the same thing as she. Winking to her friend before her smile faded when the topic shifted.

"How's my sister?"

Stepping closer to Ava, Blaze shook her head, "Not so hot, to be honest. I'm actually glad you're here. I spent the majority of the night with her because she has a few things on her mind. Haleigh can fill you in on the rest but I think its the reason she snapped today. I would suggest talking with her...and another thing...Zach was here earlier. From what I saw they had a fight. There's something else that has her upset. And I'd rather not be the one to tell you, its not my place because we don't know the results yet."

At least Haleigh had her sister back but for how long was anyone's guess.

 

[Persephone]

Persephone's brows lowered with concern as Blaze began to speak candidly about Haleigh's current state of being. Fluttering her long lashes, Ava sighed out and nodded her head.

"Thank you, Blaze."

She knew Morgan and Delilah would be fine without her. Haleigh on the other hand had no one right now. Excusing herself from the others, Ava carefully made her way across the courtyard, trying to avoid the debris as she went. Heading upstairs to apartment 5, Ava pursed her lips together before softly knocking on the door.

Not bothering to wait for Haleigh to invite her in, Ava opened the door just enough for her to call inside.

"Haleigh?"

Her soft English accent broke the silence within the apartment as Ava stepped further inside her sisters home. Closing the door behind her, she slowly began to make her way into the livingroom; her healed boots softly clicking on the hard floors.

"Hales...?"

Blaze asked her if she was okay, and it took her a second to register the question. She took a deep breath and exhaled it, then turned her head to Blaze.

"THAT MAN! Everything is always about HIM! He never thinks about anyone else unless he can use it to his own advantage."

She turned her whole body towards the others, crossing her arms.

"Did you SEE him use his powers against me? Next time I'll just LET Morgan send his ass to limbo. Douchebag."

She paused, then calmed herself a little.

"What about you guys? Everyone okay? Morgan?"

MP -- Apt 5

Blaze: "Girl, you've got balls, I give you that."

Haleigh just smirked at that… she was beyond anger now… beyond heartbreak… in a place where pain couldn't hurt her anymore… in a place where emotions couldn't hurt her. Blaze began to guide her back to her apartment, but Haleigh stalled as Nicolas came back OUT of his apartment, and with a vengeance.

"No… THIS I want to see."

Nicolas had reverted… but Haleigh was again disappointed… he STILL refused to admit he was wrong… he STILL tried for excuses… and that was the DIFFERENCE between the way HE reacted to the situation, and the way Haleigh did… for Haleigh could spin the web in HER FAVOR all day long, but she ALWAYS admitted when she'd done WRONG. She'd done it today as well, acknowledging that what she'd done to Morgan was terrible, but at the same time explaining just WHY she would do it again if she knew what would happen. And maybe Morgan didn't like it or couldn't accept it… maybe none of the others could either….. But that wasn't Haleigh's problem. She'd already APOLOGIZED to Morgan… only Hecate had been there to see it. She doubted it'd do ANY good to grovel.

But Nicolas didn't do any of that. Instead, he'd tried ingratiating himself by getting her publicity… and lured her cat to his apartment so that Morgan would have to SEE him to get Tink back…. And ALL the while… he wanted too desperately to believe that he was NOT at fault for any of it. His true cowardice was that he could not admit that regardless of the circumstances… what he'd done to Morgan had been wrong. No… NOW Nicolas was acting as though he'd been mistreated… as if it was MORGAN'S fault this had all happened in the FIRST place. But Nicolas didn't do spin QUITE as aptly as Haleigh did it… and his try just made him seem like a self-pitying BRUTE who thought that a show of power would SOLVE something…. Or IMPROVE something. Even HALEIGH knew better than that. For all her infuriating nuances, you never saw Haleigh bashing peoples heads into walls or demolishing a full third of the building just to make a re-entrance.

But Nicolas was young and RASH and didn't quite know how to handle things yet…. He still needed to make an occasional fool of himself to figure things out. THAT was the part that Haleigh understood, and Haleigh seemed to be the ONLY one who did… but even if she DID understand… Nicolas was REALLY managing to outdo himself on THIS one. Delilah stepped in, with many choice words and Haleigh was oddly PROUD of her… not only did she launch a rational, AGREEABLE rant… but she didn't pull the 'I told you so' card, and Haleigh really respected her for that…. Because Haleigh had spent all TOO MUCH time lately being haunted by the night in the club of the MoE timeline. The night Delilah had seen something in them that she CALLED them on. Haleigh, Nicolas and Mike had all laughed it off. NONE OF THEM were laughing now.

Blaze: "Damn, this is better than General Hospital. You got popcorn?"

"What can I say? [shrugging] I bring out the BEST in people."

Nicolas ROUNDED on Delilah… and it was ONE thing to defend yourself against attack… but Nicolas was being a JERK about it, throwing out ALL pretense of being the 'gentleman' he wanted everyone to BELIEVE he was.

Nicolas: "Now backdafuckup Lightweight, before I make rainbows!"

"YOU LEAVE HER ALONE!"

Haleigh yelled, her voice up to bullhorn volume. She was stepping forward… Delilah may not LIKE Haleigh very much, but Haleigh wasn't going to let Nicolas talk to ANY of her family like THAT-- it was the stand she SHOULD have taken the night he'd said SIMILAR things to Alison. It seemed he hadn't LEARNED anything from that experience.

"Oh YEAH, Nicolas. That'd make you a real TOUGH MAN, 'making rainbows', wouldn't it? [grimacing] Well you don't look much like a man from where I'm at. You were BETTER OFF just being the COWARD."

Ava: "I suggest you hold your SHARP tongue and LEAVE, Nicolas."

Ava was in town, apparently…. And she had a little something to say HERSELF, to which Nicolas gave a short reply. Haleigh stepped forth again, setting out a fair warning. NOBODY messed with Ava, CERTAINLY NOT right in FRONT of Haleigh.

"DON'T you even START talking to MY SISTER that way, you crude little BOY."

But Ava was pretty good at taking care of herself…. And Mike FINALLY stepped up and got a hold of Nicolas… How convenient of him to wait until Nicolas had exhausted ALL of his idiocy and retaliate against just about EVERYONE in sight. Nicolas disappeared and sent Haleigh a thought message… to which Haleigh sadly replied:

Go ahead, Nicolas…. Drag my love around some more. I don't think my heart is broken ENOUGH.

She was at her own doorstep already… and there was nothing left to hang around for. She retreated into her apartment… and sank into the couch, ignoring the knock at her door. After ALL that, someone was going to bother knocking? And since WHEN did people around here knock ANYWAYS? Ava let herself in, calling for her sister gently. Ava wandered into the living room… where Haleigh sat on the couch, her head in her hands.

"You were right, Ava… you were right about him…. And so was Zach… and I was stubborn and foolish… because love is BAD for me… it blinds me… makes me weak. It'll kill me if I let it. But don't worry... I'm not going to let it kill me anymore."

<< they werent the ONLY ONES who were alerted to Nicolas' forcefull handling of Morgan. a MOTHER can ALWAYS sense her daughter's fear and distress. Karen, who WAS in bed (as it was night time in Greece) was tossing as she felt Morgan's anguish, and heard her screaming heart.>>

<< for a Moment, it seemed that Morgan was stable, but THEN when Nicolas seized her body, the flash of FEAR and PANIC in her eyes caused Karen to wake up with a start.>>

:: holding up her timestaff, the garnett jewel shimmers and sparkles, as a surge of power is heard and CHRONAL winds begin to flow around the seer. she uses her own TK and the power of time to RESTORE the building, rewinding time so it was as though nothing had happened to the building. things returned to their proper place, walls closed up, debris moved back to where it should have been.::

There's no point in Morgan having to worry about the details...when there's so much ELSE going on...

Blaze held her tongue trying to remain level headed but it was difficult with all of the emotions running rampant here. Alison and Karen appeared after Morgan had manifested the soul sword.

You let THAT woman tell Morgan about the other timeline?

"Yes I did because no one else was gonna step up! Yes, her timing was bad but at least she had the courage to do so. I didn't see anyone else offering to do so. Kind of like when Mike told you about youself."

Blaze wasn't about to candy-coat the situation for Karen and she was really tired of hearing everyone giving Haleigh shit for being honest.

"Or maybe she was trying to explain WHY she did it. Haleigh may be cold and calculating but those are things only on the service. There's actually more to her if you look closer. Blaze wasn't afraid to stand up for Haleigh despite Alison's warnings. And unlike Nicolas who managed to walk out of Haleigh's life, Blaze made a promise that she would be there for the hybrid. And if that made her the black sheep of the group then she was willing to accept it.

[ Sharon was not only startled but heart broken and ANGERED by Nicolas' behavior. It would take more than what he was doing to subdue HER and she was going to knock him out if only to stop him fromgoing too far past the point of no return, but Morgan was now on the warpath.]

WHY couldnt you have just let her BE! I took her AWAY to calm her down to TALK to her. She was JUST STARTING TO FACE IT AND LET GO AND YOU HAD TO DO THIS!

[ she stood up, boldly fronting him off as he cruelly disrespected Delilah and Ava.]

In case you hadnt noticed, the situation was at an END until Nicolas came out, laid waste to the building and THEN ATTACKED Morgan, myself and Delilah! What was done in response was the LEAST of what wouldve been JUSTIFIED.

Nicolas may be the son of set, but NO ONE here is going to be bullied by him in his CHILDISH FITS of self pity! Do you understand that, MIKE? YOU SHOULD, considering that YOU know who raised him just like I do. Gustav would be ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE if he saw this!

[ Karen and Alison arrived JUST after Nicolas and Mike left.]

I may be HAVE BEEN "mass murdering psycho path" as she so eloquently put it...following my resurrection but last time I checked, someone who was "out of their mind" was STILL slightly more sympathetic than the TOWN TRAMP. Everyone else who has made mistakes on this time has given an accounting..not an excuse. SHE HASNT DONE THAT.

What she did to TODAY was pour salt on a wound that had not closed. It's HER fault that all of this happened.

and as far as I'm concerned, until SHE fixes this...she'll NEVER be right and your SISTER needs help and support TOO or did you forget about THAT when you were so busy standing there GAWKING while Nicolas was about to BRUTALIZE her? Even AVA cared enough to stand in the gap for Haleigh...so maybe you should let HER worry about Haleigh and YOU try looking out for Morgan for once.

As Sharon flies off Blaze follows the others into Delilah's apartment as she knew she'd hear something similar from the others.
