I now call this 7th Meeting of the Masters of Evil to ORDER!

Let's get this party started with our MONSTROUS skew of Promotions! Shall We? Let's look at the List?

Announcments:

Welcome the New Members
we are seeing a surge of new members....let us make sure that we welcome them all and help them if they have any questions along the way.

Gil :
starting this meeting, every ACTIVE member of MoE will receieve 500 gil. this will happen at each meeting. members who slack off or drop off will not receive the gil in future meetings.



Intercoven Action

a new intercoven quest will begin soon. it is being helmed by Ikaris who is also behind the populare Eye of Fire Training RPG within MoE. It will be held in AHBL, this will be our chance to show the GoL what REAL team work is all about...as well as make them envious of our style and power

Make Over:

with all the helpful ideas and suggestions that have been contributed by the members of GoW....and after having time to think things over, i am now going to begin submitting the changes propsed to Tru Davies and others that will be involved.....the make over will be gradual and take a few weeks....so please be patient as we take on our new look.

Masters of Evil Awards Ceremony:

we will be restructuring the presentation of our Awards Ceremony, which we hope to become a tradition in the MoE. there will be a voting ballot presented at some point...and all members will be able to copy and past it in a PM with their choices for all the categories. everyone is asked to participate to ensure a fair and varied result.

MoE Secret Santa

with the holiday season in full swing...theres no reason we cant take time out from crushing the guardians of light to share a little Xmas fun with each other. AmarisyFuller has come up with a great idea....one that will promote more closeness in the MoE family and hopefully will bring more business to the midnight plaza. check out her Information post in the "Express yourself" forum.

Deaths in AHBL:

Several members of MoE have fallen to the GoL due to the 24hr rule technicality......REMEMBER if you enter AHBL it is at YOUR OWN RISK...and if you cannot see a fight through....if you DONT want your character to risk getting killed...then WITHDRAW in a clearly definable exit. everone should watch out for each other when at all possible......team ups and tag teams can mean the difference between victory against a powerful or annoying foe or death.

Topics of Discussion:

MoE is booming....we are getting so many new members...and id like to make sure that we do our best to make them feel welcomed. with our new Dark Elder and Dark Mastrix......the members will now have other friendly faces to turn to when Dire Wraiths and Evil Incarnates and Enchantrah our chief Mastrix are not available. I would like to know is there anything else that we can do to make MoE more "user friendly" and easy to understand?

let me know if we need to reorganize, change threads or whatever and be specific..but dont make unreasonable or unrealistic requests.....remember that we ALL have lives offline and may not be on as often as others would like...but things will get done as soon as possible.

the floor is now open to feed back about announcments or topics of discsussion. member concerns can be addressed here as well.

The Secret Santa thing sounds like fun. So does the Intercoven Quest thing, but methinks I'll have to wait for the next one--when I'm better trained.
 
id like to know when the Intercoven Quest is officially supposed to begin :D and YAY IM LEVEL 1! woohoo! and Secret Santa sounds ccol....but one problem....its kinda supposed to be random right? so how do you do something like that? and i just spent most of my money....

Congrats to those who were promoted!

Just wondering, I have been a Level 2 longer or the same amount of time as some of the people who were pomoted to 3. How come I wasn't? If this needs to be answered in pm, I'll take it gladly.
 
First of all congrats to all who got promoted and the people who got appointed to Dark Elder and our 2 new Dark Mastrix' I'm sure you guys will do a great job at it :)

Desire.. being promoted has nothing to do with the amount of time you are at a surten level it has to do with training and if the trainers see you fit to move on.. in time you too will promote don't worry about it ;)

Woohoo! Thanks everyone! Congrats to all those promoted, and excellent work to Storm, Sati, and Rogue! You all are going to do a supurb job!

Um, because no one but you can see your PM box lol. That's what makes it random, no one else will know who your surprise person is.

You also have all month to save up money. It really isn't that hard. Use the bank! A lot! It's a really great idea, and it really does give you LOTS of gil. It's a miracle machine, the interest works wonders. Trust me, i already have over $22,000 gil and i started with like $2000 at the beginning of november.

The secret Santa thing sure sounds interesting. As for saving money? I've got lots of it. :D Yes, The bank is great for saving money. Use it! I mean, where IRL do you find banks who offer DAILY 10% interest???!

As for making the board more user friendly, i'd suggest making the guidebook into just one thread which has everything a new member need to know what to do instead of two threads. And make this thread very obvious for new members to see.

Also, maybe all the threads especially those containing information should be checked to make sure they are up to date.

Congratulations to all who were promoted and to the new staff. Keep up the excellent work.

There are still positions open for the Intercoven Quest but they are filling quickly so if you are interested, reserve your spot today. It is open to all levels one and above and will be taking the Questors across time and space. Rewards will be given for successful completion of the quest and are in my opinion very generous including level appropriate talismans and gil. I will also be awarding bonus gil for outstanding role playing throughout the quest. Posting will be required following the same 24 hour rule that is in effect for Eye of Fire, should you not post for 24 hours without informing me of an absence, I will eliminate you from the quest in the most creative manner I can think of and I am known for my creativity. As for a time when the Quest will start, it will not start until we can Finish with Eye of Fire as running two in depth quests would be too much for me to handle at the same time, besides some ofthe members of Eye are joining and their rewards should they survive might prove helpful in the new Quest.
 
Just to double check. Everything can be used in the quest right? Items, powers, spells everything right?
 
Hun knowing Ikaris and if you had been watching the Eye of Fire.. there is a big chance something will happen to your stuff (including all that you metioned) so you will have to use your creativity to bring the quest to a good end with just your whit and brainpower ;)

But I'm sure you'll do great.. all of us who have signed up will... if you're smart enough : devil :

Ah well. It doesn't matter. I'm sure my RP skills are up for it! :D :p

By the way, i have a suggestion. Maybe we can appoint someone, to go around and record the numbers of kills every member has. Then, create a thread to record this down. And maybe reward the member with the highest numbers of kill per month?

But the problem with this would be we'll need someone who's willing to go trace every fight... Well, its just a suggestion anyway.

Thanks for my appointment as Dark Mastrix... I'll try not to disappoint! ;)

With regards to the deaths in AHBL... It always helps, if you see someone being attacked two, three, even four times because of the 24 hour rule, to help that friend. Even if its simply TKing their opponent away so that they have time to recover, and then turning back to your own battle. Although creativity in a battle doesn't go amis :D

That said... making a kill for a kill sounds good to me. If a GoL kills a friend of yours, I don't think anyone except the GoL would object to you going slightly psycho on them. After all, in real ilfe if you'd just seen your friend murdered, what would you do?

Hmmm... I can't think of anything else to say at the moment

Everything will be able to be used at one time or another but not necessarily all at the same time. The Questers will be operating under certain geasa(pronounced guessa) or magickal compulsions. Each realm will be under its own geas one of which will be when the two groups are brought together they will have to work alongside each other to accomplish the goal. Weapons will be limited to the one primary weapon that each of you uses. That way we won't people loading themselves up with 100 weapons just in case they might need them. No familiars/pets will be allowed on the quest though, they would make it too hard to keep track of. Clear things up?

I want to congratulate everybody on promotions, and appointments, on the death subject in AHBL I agree with what Sati said, I would go ballistic if I saw my friend get murdered...

...With that said I will join the Intercoven Quest, and see what I can do.
 
OMG...*looks shocked* I never expected to be promoted so soon lol.

Congrats to Sati, I am really happy for her. And the Santa thing looks like it will be good fun.
