::Finding his kick being parried, Devon got slightly distracted and took awhile to regain composure, only to find Kyroe missing::

Hmmm... I'm sure he didn't teleport... Must in invisible...

"Well... I could easily use a spell... but....

::Deciding against using the simple revealing spell, lest the GOLs complain their frequent usage, Devon decided to try a different technique. As he prepared himself, bringing out his fire staff alongside his staff, he cast a spell::

"fire and flame from hell
in my hands you may dwell
to take control of your fire for a while
so i decide which creature'll die"

this spell grants the caster a temporary influx of Pyrokinesis. igniting this spell allows the caster to blast their foe with concussive force flame blasts that cause severe 3rd degree burns and will knock the opponent down. Level 4 thru 6 may cast this spell and watch the magick of this spell INCINERATE their enemy utterly.

::As he felt himself gaining the power of flames, he looked foward and started blasting out flames everywhere. His staff glowed at the same time, and he combined his own magic with it, increasing the area covered by the flames. To furthur increase his flames' power, his fire staff too glowed, and more flames were blasted out. Finally, Devon gave a signal, and his Dragon Crisp appeared and started breathing flames all over the place as well. With the combined flames from various sources, the intensity of the flames is both hot and wide spread, covering almost every inch around Devon in a 2 mile radius. The trees around also caught fire, and crashed to the ground. The area was turned into a raging inferno. The invisible GOL would have no where to escape, and a burning GOL is easy to see::

Someone is keeping you under water, their pushing you deeper and deeper and you can't breath

:: Jules uses her telepathy to make Sati believe the visual hallucination. She takes the oppurtunity to relax her aching muscles, then levitates out of the water and releases Sati from the hallucination::

:: Activating her rune amulet, she ensnares Sati, disabling her from using her powers. With that she aims a fire ball at the part of Sati's body that is out of the water::

Also, for the record - I don't think you'd be able to create an illusion that I actually "felt" I was being pulled deeper into the water, but I'll react anyway. Since enough time has passed because of me.

BIC

:: Recognising the optic beam as its set in motion, she releases jules, her body drifting to the side, the motion feeling almost lazy to her, but appearing very fast to Jules. The red beam hits her partially on the side of the neck, pushing her back in the water a small amount, and as she lets go, she drifts to the surface, 'struggling' against the person holding her down. ::

What the hell-?

:: She sees the fireball coming towards her, and tries to dive below the water in super speed - and realises, with a flash of panick, that her super speed isn't working. The fireball hits her on the shoulder, just below where the optic beam had hit her, knocking her down slightly below the surface of the water and extinguishing itself. She presses one hand to the side of her neck, wincing, leaning her head to the side as the violet glow from her hand gradually begins to sooth the intense burning. Coldly, calculating, she looks up at the levitating girl ::

OOC: When can I use my powers again? I was working on the assumption that, after I accepted your attack, since a lot of posts had passed, I'd have them back, but I'm not sure it works that way. Let me know and I'll edit this ;)
 
OOC: I hope your feeling better :D

I don't know how long the disabling of your powers lasts for. I've asked but not got an answer yet. So, just assume that you can use your powers, you don't need to bother editing. If it lasts for more than one post I'll let you know for if I use that power again :)

BIC

:: Jules, still levitating in the air, conjures a leather whip. Lashing the whip out at Sati, hoping that it wraps around her neck. Then using her augmented strength, and with the help of her telekinetic ability, pulls Sati out of the water and back onto dry land::

:: Then making the whip disappear, Jules lands on the ground, keeping all her wait off her left ankle and sends a blast of White Lightening at Sati::
 
:: Glancing up at the whip, with the slight click of her fingers, the whip changes shape... the half wrapped around her transforming into hundreds of wispy, seperate strands which she breaks easily. She reaches up, grabbing onto the whip, allowing it to pull her onto dry land, using that to her advantage, she hits the ground at a roll, springing to her feet, electricity crackling from her fingertips. She conjures a net. Unravelling it, she hurls the net towards Jules a super speed, the net covering Jules within a second. The net melts into water, and while the girl is still covered in a net of water, Sati hurls an energy ball, in the same, intense, speed ::
 
Jules

:: As Sati's net changes to water and Jules gets wet, she's hit by the energy ball and sent flying backwards, hitting the floor with a painful thud. Staying where she landed, Jules activates her Rune amulet and calls forth a Spiritual Warrior (lasts for 3 posts)::

Spiritual Warrior

:: The Warrior appears infront of Sati, and using his magical strength, grabs hold of her, in a blindingly fast move, flinging himself up and over Sati , doing a 180 degree turn while directly above her. Then descending and using the forward momentum to slam a powerful kick to the back of Sati's head. As he lands, he turns to Sati and sends an energy blast at her::


Jules

:: Still on the floor, recovering from the blast, Jules places one hand on her earth amulet and one hand on the ground and sends an earth tremour at Sati to keep her off balance::
 
: Upon hearing the spell Kyroe pulls out his Ice Staff and stands ready. His cloak has shattered(not really) from over use so now stands exposed. He uses his super speed to get well away from Devon and calls upon his ice staff to create an ice berg. He watches as the flames melt it but in turn he smiles as the water is putting out the flames. He then does this repeatedly trying to put out the fires:

OOC: Probably the moment i stop creating the flames?

BIC:

::As Devon was enjoying his pyromaniac spectacle, he noticed a blurry trail, followed by what seems like melting ice. Upon futhur checking, he realised that was the GOL's defensive measures.::

Well, must be pretty strong if his ice can hold him out amidst all
these flames.. Well, i didn't know he had ice powers... Must be from a weapon. Well, lets test his ice's power with my flames.

::Devon moves foward swiftly, while holding his flame staff right infront of him. As he reaches where Kyroe was, Devon blasted flames from his fire staff straight at the ice block infront.::

"Well, the fire staff and ice staff should have relative the same amount of power, however, i get to add a little to this..."

::As the fire staff continued blasting flames, Devon magnified the heat of the flames with his own magic. Raising his own staff, the temperature of the flames rised, and the flames got bigger, and the ice vaporises faster, hardly reaching the liquid state as it evapourates almost as soon as it melts::

"Lets see how long you can last."

: Ignoring the inferno Kyroe wathces his ice evaporate too fast and then concentrates on Devon's lefthand. He heats it up almost to the point of explosion:

" I'd quit with this inferno idea or else ull lose a hand."
 
OOC: Sorry i don't quite get your post. Are you magically heating up my left hand? How do you have such an ability? I'll reply anyway...

BIC:

::As Devon was enjoy the flaming spectacle, he found his left hand getting a little warm itself, until a point its so hot it became unbearable.::

"OUCH!"

::With a cry, he lost concentration, and stopped generating the flames. He glared at Kyroe wondering how he managed to do that amidst all these flames. He shook his hand violently, to ease the pain from the searing heat. Looking back up at Kyroe, devon took the chance that he's relatively near to Kyroe, and that the raging inferno probably has done some damage to him, he leaped foward and swung out his mace. Holding his mace right above him, Devon swung it down directly onto Kyroe as he lands, using all his might::
 
::the astral blocked the attack and returns to her body::
::she really tries to move but she does it slowly, too slow to fight well::
::creates a hallucination and makes Xavia to see herself into a deep forest, there is no light and it seems to be no way out::
 
:: Rama sighes and looks around for a fight, he was itching to draw some more blood ::

"Come on out you wretched Guardians!"

(Igniting this spell will allow you to entrance your foe.....superceeding their will. the higher the level...the more malcious an act you can force them to commit
Level 3: cause an GoL to turn their attack upon themselves)

OOC: Its called molecular acceleration. Normally people only use it to blow up things but I decided to take it to the point of almost exploding.

BIC: With the flames gone Kyroe's temperature drops back to normal with the help of his Icestaff. He sees Devon leap up to hit him and smiles to himself as the rookie foolishly opens himself up. Kyroe watches as Devon jumps in the air and brings his mace down. He then uses his superdpeed to dodge the attack and go behind him. He then grabs his ankles and swings him around and around eventually letting go sending Devon flying. Then Kyroe races alongside him and elbows him into the ground:
 
::The moment Devon saw Kyroe disappearing, he knew something bad was about to happen. Having experienced a human before, he knew they focused alot on physical attacks. Thus, he was already prepared when Kyroe grabbed his ankles. Then, Devon felt himself flying around and sent soaring backwards. this made him dizzy, but he quickly regains composure, and then, a black spiral forms around Devon with a low rumbling noise and he disappears, only to appear in the exact same fashion, some distance above Kyroe in mid air. Wasting no time, he aimed his Trident straight at Kyroe's head, and prompty blasted bolts of electricity down at him, until Devon was nearing groung, his animal talisman then glowed, as he magically transformed into a sparrow. The sparrow Devon then flew up and flew some distance away from Kyroe and landed, before reverting back to his actual form::
 
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"

: The stream of lightning pounds into Kyroe causing him to fall to the ground. He lays there shaking and closes his eyes against the pain to drive it out. Slowly he recovers and he stands up and looks around for Devon. He sees him far off and he smiles at him. Kyroe then raises his staff high and a chilling wind begins to blow. Then suddenly a spire of ice shoots out of the ground(think of Blizzaga from FFIX) and encases Devon. Then it explodes sending shards of ice flying everywhere:

Damnnnnnnnn hella lot of posts here. I'm closing it up and starting a new thread for you guys. Look for it. Closing this thread. :D ;)
