but why didnt Lady Ororo WARN US about Shockwave?? She couldve sent HER through the Siege Perilous as well. She wouldnt allow us to fall into a trap of this magnitude..she said we had to to rescue......::she tried to conceal the contempt in her voice:: Cameron and Haleigh and TOGETHER defeat those two maniacs. Of course ill help you kill her.

My own precognition is so clouded by Imagiomg....i feel as though i've lost one of my senses!

Christopher Victory: Spellbinder and Guardian...you two are by far the most blood thirsty, unforgiving witches I've ever seen. you just cant stand the thought that at least ONE of you actually cares for and respects their father.

you're friends, Cameron and Haleigh are in the center of the room. Not that either of you two actually CARE about them...but all you have to do to free them, is actually REACH them.

Haleigh nodded as Cameron worked... and secretly smiled in the darkness... wow... they had worked together. they had accomplished something. that wasnt so painful afterall. it was almost as if they had never tried to kill each other.... now it was again like it had been with the ant lions.... them two against the world. Haleigh's 'night vision' kicked in again. there was absolutely no light in this room... but there was heat... heat from the machines, heat from the generator, heat left over from the lighting, and the heat from Cam and Haleigh's bodies. Haleigh turned over again at the sound of footsteps and a bang. As Spellbinder and Guardian entered, Haleigh's eyes flashed in their direction and shined like a cats at night. SB was too busy whispering to Alison to see... but Foxfire or Shockwave might have seen.... shockwave was about to be confronted by Spell.... which left only foxfire free to pay them any attention.

Haleigh, however, was unaware that her pale blue eyes were visible as she turned to look at cameron instead. she was calculating again....

Four bodies Stud. Female at that.... its Morgan and her lot... but Cam... i dunno if this is exactly the best time to reach out to them... were in a bind... literally.. what if they think were with mystech now? i wouldnt put the idea past them... for all we know they might very think this is a trap... and with that.... could regard us as the enemy.... of course... Gaurdian likely always did... but were at a distinct disadvantage here.... just... keep silent for a bit.... lets feel this out.

Haleigh squinted her eyes as the room lit up.... she locked eyes with Cameron. well.... thats all blown to hell, never mind then.

::Guardian turned around...and glared at Shockwave::

Foxfire....back away from her! She's NOT apart of this team...she's a mole!

::Guardian wasted no time....gesturing like Prue...and hurling Shockwave diagnally away from Foxfire with such force! and slamming her FACE FIRST into the side of a wall::

Youll have to reach Cameron and Haleigh yourself! I'll keep this treacherous metahuman in check!

:: Guardian manifested a sphere of dark magick...nurturing it with her hands until it became basket ball sized.....she tossed it forward and then motioned a "flick" with her fingers...to send it traveling it break neck speed toward Shockwave's back::

 

[Imagiomg]

** rushing water is heard as Imagiomg appears in mid air...directly in Spellbinder's flight path**

Imagiomg: Foolish witch! your bloodthirsty impulse will be your undoing!


**Imagiomg gestures and circles his hands forward...forming a barrier that extends outward....appearing so suddenly that Spellbinder would have little time to maneuver...unless she was as nimble as she was fast in flight**

[Adam Chandler]

seize the moment

::Adam sat in the control booth, watching as Spellbinder charged madly for the booth itself. her dark aura and her malice could be felt even by him::

that woman....its hard to believe she was EVER on the side of good. Just look at her!

::smirking as Imagiomg defends the booth from Spellbinder, he takes note that Guardian has now brutally attacked Shockwave::

they are coming apart before they ever unite. It makes destroying seem almost merciful. But Guardian will lay waste to Shockwave if left to her own devices...and I'm afraid I cannot allow that.

:: pressing a large red button on the control counsel where he sits::

Control Lab defenses....ACTIVATE FULL POWER! Stop Guardian and Foxfire before they can interfere!

:: plasma cannons came out of the walls.....large spiked pile drivers appeared at the ceiling, and other deadly devices also came online...and began to close in::

:: plasma cannons began to fire in rapid succession at Foxfire...herding her away from the protection of Guardian..and far back towards the wall underneath the control booth::

:: on the far opposite wall, a panel of wall slid up....as Titan, a sentinel standing at 9 ft tall appeared...this sentinel was equipped with many battle protocals and had knowledge of ALL the powers possesed by each person from the Six. he locked onto Guardian::


Titan: Target aquired....Alison Marble aka Guardian. Female Witch who channels a wide variety of black magick and various dark arts...proceed with Caution!

:: Titan began to make his way over to Guardian, who seemed intent on slaying Shockwave::

 

[Persephone]

:: Looking around the dark room, she heard whispering and assumed it was Guardian and Spellbinder....plotting as usual. Stepping forward, the lights finally turned on, and in the middle of the room Alexis could see Cameron and Haleigh bound to the floor. Her eyes widdened, but soon she was distracted by Spellbinder who took off towards her father. Watching her fly high in the air, Alexis heard the words of Guardian and her attention then snapped to the witch. ::

"What?!"

:: Alexis questioned.. Before she could protest, Alexis was TKed acros the room and into a wall, slamming into it with much force. UGH! Sliding down to the ground, she lifted her head up weakly, she saw this sphere heading towards her...quickly pushing herself out of the way, the ball of dark magick narrowly missed Alexis by inches. Rolling off to the side...soon a familiar voice was heard in the room. It was her father! Quickly looking aorund the room, she saw a booth in which Adam was in...her eyes narrowed in on his position. It WAS him. ::

"Daddy..."

:: Alexis spoke very softly. Slowly standing, she knew everyone was being delt with, therefore she was able to have a few moments to watch her father up in the booth... ::

 

[Spellbinder]

<< Spellbinder streaked toward the booth...preparing to unleash a barrage of magick at the glass to shatter it...just as Imagiomg appeared>>

<< the barrier appeared out of no where there was no timeand she SLAMMED into it before she could dodge or react...hitting it so hard...she was stunned and began to free fall back down to the floor....and with such a high distance, the fall would certainly kill her>>

 

[Persephone]

:: A large flash of light exploded in the room from the contact of Spellbinder hitting the magickal barrier. Shielding her eyes, once the light died down, she noticed Morgan was free falling...rapidly coming closer to the ground. A smirk appeared on her lips, as she looked passed Morgan and made eye contact with her father....Thrusting her hand out, an arsenal of lightning bolts can flying out of Alexis' palms with intense speed. Ten...twenty...possibly thirty the bolts of highly charged electricity began to fly directly at Morgan, striking her and surrounding her like a cyclone. ::

"Aww...the big bad bitch doesn't know what hit her...so sad."

 

[Prophet]

:: Cameron watched with horror at the sights going on around him. THESE were the bitches he had called for his rescue. He should have known better. As he saw Alexis and Morgan start to go after each other, with Alison close at hand, something needed to be done about this entire situation, and fast. Prophet tried to do what he could from where he was. As he looked at Morgan free falling and Alexis lashing out at the witch extremely fast, Prophet sprung into action squinting his eyes as the lightning bolts began to bounce off of the walls, crashing into random machines and things of the sort in the control room as he grabbed hold of the Witch, slowing her pace as she plopped on the ground with a thud, but nothing that would certainly injure her. He called out to everyone as they continued to fight with each other, rolling his eyes. ::

"Look, I know I am not on everyone's Favorite list right now, but seriously you guys! Your own fathers are playing with your emotions and you are EASILY falling for it! Alexis! What the FUCK are you doing?"

:: He looked at Haleigh and they both exchanged a look that it was time for them to be free. They didn't know how but Cameron called out to the only person he thought might be able to free them from the chains that might have a clear enough head to do so. He looked dead at Alison, not showing any emotion other than wanting to be free as he called out to Alison. ::

"A little help over here please?

 

[Persephone]

:: Seeing the bolts fly away from Morgan, Alexis' head snapped towards Cameron's direction. GRRR!!! Glaring at him, she stormed towards the telepath, which was only a few feet away from her. Placing one leg on either side of his body, she soon straddled the already pinned down mutant, and forcefully fell to her knees, slamming her body weight into his groined with ample force. In a sitting position, the meta human leaned forward and grabbed Cameron's face. ::

"I'll deal with YOU later.."

:: With a growl, her tone was very threatening.....turning his face to the side, she ran her tongue up his cheek in a taunting manor, knowing Prophet hated woman demeaning him. Letting his face go, Alexis pushed her body weight over Cameron's head, and did a front hand spring, pushing herself forward into a standing position. Turning around immediately, she faced Morgan. ::

:: Viciously. ::

"I can't wait to see Christopher rip your bloated head off!"

 

[Prophet]

:: Cameron felt it instantly when Alexis looked at him with that vicious stare. He had to admit, she looked damn hot when she was angry. As she walked over to him. As she sat over his laugh he laughed, breathing on her neck as she stared him dead in the eyes as he laughed and made a cocky remark. ::

"I don't have any cash on me.. but feel free to flop around for awhile..."

:: His laughter was soon cut off as he felt an intense pain in his groin as the wind was knocked out of him. He coughed and tried to play it off as she grabbed him in the face and turned to his cheek as she actually licked the Telepath on the cheek and stared back at him as she pushed off his body, slamming him into the wall. He looked back at Alexis and winked as he commented on her feisty attitude that seemed to come from out of nowhere although it reminded him of the girl he first met in the Rainbow Room before this all began. Cameron laughed out loud and licked his lips. ::

"Oh I hope you deal with me, Sweets. I hope you deal with me LONG, HARD and ALL Night..."

:: Prophet turned back to Haleigh showing his concern about how strange everyone was acting around them as he had yet to hear from Alison to see if she would help him and Haleigh out of the Mystic Chains. This was getting ridiculous. ::

"Well SOMEBODY get us out of here!"

 

[Persephone]

:: Shifting her glare to Cameron, she shook her head before looking back at Morgan. In a very sarcastic tone, she spoke to Cameron without bothering to look at him. ::

"Oh yeah...i'm going to ride you until you're knee's buckle and you burst like a bottle of warm champagne.... :: Laughing maliciously :: Enjoy your cattyness now, Cameron. You'll be dead, along with the rest of The Six soon enough."

:: Getting into a fighting stance, Alexis' eyes didn't leave Morgan. A sly smirk appeared on her lips as she knew they were about to get into a bloody brawl. ::

 

[Spellbinder]

<<Spellbinder stirred...and bolted upright>>

what happened....what did i hit!? <<looking up at the demon mage high above>> it was him! <<looking over at Shockwave....>> and HER! Guardian was RIGHT! she IS a mole!

<<Morgan stood up >>

well, when you have a pest, you simply SMASH it...or in this case..HER!

<<Morgan opened a stepping disc and teleported with the speed of thought from where she was. appearing right in front of Alexis. Without giving Cameron so much as a look, She waved her hand and counteracted Imagiomg's magick with her own, disbanding the chains that bound both Prophet and Black Widow. without breaking stride, she raised up on Shockwave>>

you stupid cow! I'll knock your block off!

<< pulling her fist back, which was now surrounded by a halo of magick, Spellbinder punched Shockwave in her face, slugging her across the jaw SO HARD there was a sickening CRACK as she broke Shockwave's jaw and sent her flying back and sliding across the floor>>

::Guardian saw the extremely fast sentinel coming. she glared at it as she turned to face it immediately::

so, this is Titan. I assumed it would be a biological organism. either way, I've got to set this up so that he ends up maiming that treacherous wench Shockwave


::ducking Titan's first swing, Guardian launched up in the air and vaulted over his head...twisting her boding and landing on her feet crouched down behind him. She quickly stood up and thrust her hand out in a stop guesture and TK'ed the massive robot with such force he was blasted forward like a rag doll slamming into a wall::

I may not have Spellbinder's strength you big lummox, but i am THE FASTEST woman in this room...and you'll find that despite your "protocalls" i am NOT so easily dealt with!

 

[Black Widow]

OHHH.... shit Cam, are you okay?

Haleigh thought quickly.... there wasn't reallly much she could do... but she too saw that everyone was cracking under the pressure, likely from prolonged exposure to the Citadle... and each other.

Did she just llick your face? She LICKED your FACE.

Haleigh thought to Cam, slightly weirded out. Haleigh felt the chains disappear, and she rolled to her feet and helped Cameron up. What the hell is wrong with these people? Dont they know we'll NEVER get out of here if we cant work together? I cant believe we just saved these people.... we'd have done them a FAVOR letting thee defense systems pulverize them.... lets try shock therapy... you go protect Alexis from Morgan no matter what....I'll go rescue Miss Marble from that machine, and try to get her to stop Spellbinder's maniacal killing spree.

Haleigh had an idea for the Titan... all thanks to Im, of course.... when she'd blown that microwave up... she hadnt simply blown it up... she'd forced it to blow itself up. this sentinel was just a big microwave, right? She scrambled to Gaurdians side, as Titan got back to its feet and raised an iron fist to slam down on Alison like a jack hammer. Haleigh stiffly pushed Alison with enough force to send her stumbling over a few feet, and raised her other hand in a 'stop' motion.

"STOP!"

She called firmly, and the machine seemed to lock up in mid strike, its joints refusing to move. She broke into a smile... and then looked over at Alison.

"Wasn't that cool? Sometimes.... I impress myself. Try and focus, and listen to me for just once. Our lives are in danger... Morgan and Alexis are at each other's throats... we must WORK TOGETHER to bring this corporation to its knees! WE're doing the doctor's work FOR THEM! You must STOP Spellbinder from attacking Shockwave.... before irreversable damage is done and we ALL meet our demise!"

 

[Harbinger]

::Guardian could still anticipate the moves of any foe she faced...and just as she was about to errect a shield to deflect Titan's physical attack, Black Widow moved her forcibly out of the way and halted the hybrid Sentinel's advance....for the moment::


:: she looked upon Black Widow, who had obviously changed. her face betrayed a look of irritated surprise::

Haleigh, I dont know if you realize...but this hybrid Sentinel is not merely a machine...its a synergized sentinel whose matrix is powered by ENERGY and not by machnical components!

::Titan was already adjusting to Haleigh's attack. It's eyes glowing as well as it's body. it would soon bust loose from the temporary paralysis::

this machine represents MysTech's namesake.....combining mystical forces with technology to gain the ultimate advantage.

::she quickly glanced over to Spellbinder who was attacking Shockwave::

STOP HER? Shockwave set us UP for this! she KNEW there was a trap and deceived us when Prophet's astral form appeared....she's been in league with her father ALL THIS TIME! Imagiomg has been blocking my long range ability as a "Seer" and i couldnt warn the group myself, but the evidence speaks for itself. She just attacked Morgan!

 

[Foxfire]

** It seemed as though the events were looming over them and quickly. Blaze had definitely picked up the scent of Hal and Cam. She jerked sideways seeing Alexis hurled away by Guardian but Blaze didn't object. Instead her sage green eyes saw a pair of flashing irises, silver. **

"That's them!!"

** She flipped over some debris quickly, sprinting towards Prophet and Black Widow. Her agility and speed resembled a fox itself or even a cheetah. With her mind set on getting to the last teammates, Foxfire had yet to see the new technology arriving until it was too late. Several large blasts were hurled into her direction, zipping around until it targeting her. With a piercing scream, blood splattered from Blaze's rib cage as she was curled backwards under the control room case. Sliding onto the marble floor until she stopped in a heap. All was quiet from Foxfire who lay there, unmoving. **

** But a strange phenomenon happened with her wounds disappearing with a loud growl escaping her lungs. Sitting up she grit her teeth before jumping to her feet. Cracking her neck to the side she hurled her body into the air, massive intense heat waves swirled around her body engulfing her. **

"Nobody fucks with me and gets away!"

** Sliding into the air with her element, Blaze unleashed deadly fire bolts against the technology Adam and Christopher created. Blazing past the ceiling she frizzled out the piledrivers immediately, blowing them up. Her eerie yellow eyes were the only human clue to her flaming form. Her eyes scanned for Black Widow and Prophet, who were now free it seemed. Foxfire began to take out every weapon the control room had around them. **
