POTC: The Deadman's Chest

Just got back from the movie and it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Very long and drawn out. Some parts were entertaining and funny, but the majority of the movie just seemed very dull. BUT, I believe this movie is just a segway into the next POTC movie. They had to do the backstory in this one to lead into the next. They left it at a cliff hanger which always pisses me off, LOL, but now i'm very excited to see what happens next.

So all in all, this movie was okay. But it really gets you hyped to see the next one.

I saw it yesterday and while I did like it I have to say the ending did kind of throw me for a loop. I don't particularly like cliff hangers, but I did like that I was surprised about what it was.

I did think Elisabeth's (spelling?) move towards the end of the movie was out of character though.

POTC: Deadman's chest set a new record this weekend for a single box office opening day.

They weren sure how this movie would go over (hell, they didnt even want to make the first one lol) but apparently its prooven to be a winner after all.

The movie WAS rather long and drawn out to me, i thought the first one was far more glamorous and intriguing than this one.
