Charleston, SC church suspect has been captured

It's gotten to the point where no place is "safe" anymore. Not even hospitals & churches.

Security cameras from 2 different angles caught clear images of him entering the church. He sat in the church for most of the service, even participating, before he open fired & murdered 9 ppl. According to another report, he told a woman that he would let her live so she could "tell the story."


& then of course there's this:

“I have to do it,” he said, according to Ms. Johnson. “You rape our women and you’re taking over our country. And you have to go.” The shooting was being investigated as a hate crime.

This is a mass murderer & he committed a hate crime.

I'm just WAITING for some idiot to suggest this man is insane & didn't know what he was doing was WRONG. & it'll be interesting (& probably pathetic) to see how long the legal process to convict this racist murderer takes.

I want terrorism charges as well. Because I just had a conversation with my mother-in-law today about GUNS in my CHURCH.

I could not imagine being more angry and hurt.

i say this ALL THE TIME when it comes to this subject, which never gets old to me b/c really nothing has been done about it, - if law enforcement "kept an eye" on angry white men even a fraction as much as they do muslims, marginalized populations & other "suspect groups"...maybe some of these mass murders would be prevented.

it's astounding to me that the farce of a trial going on in Aurora Colorado right now is still happening...& it's been 3 yrs since that young white man murdered a dozen ppl & wounded dozens more in a theatre & was captured @ THE SCENE! & there's still a question as to whether or not he was SANE!? there wouldnt be a trial or even a conversation about that if he'd been anything OTHER than white! & i feel like the fact that his trial is just NOW getting underway 3 yrs after the fact is an INSULT to the victims, their families & the surivors of his mass murder attack.

this killer in SC is a racist, he fully knew what he was doing, what he wanted to do & why. I REALLY hope that it doesnt become another long, drawn out debate about "IF he was sane or not" & that it doesnt take 3 yrs for him to go to trial for what is CLEARLY a hate crime!

Its time we got serious about common sense REFORMS for our gun laws in america, & law enforcement needs to start looking elsewhere for "likely terrorists" b/c in nearly EVERY instance of mass shooting/murders in this country....its a young to middle aged white male who's responsible for it!

Oh, he's definitely insane. You kind of have to be if it's premeditated and you KNOW going into the church you're going to start shooting people. No sane person would ever do that.

But people would be hard pressed trying to convince others that he didn't know what he did was wrong. It's obvious that he DID know what he was doing was wrong.

Don't get me started on the shooting in Aurora, CO. I read the most insane article about that trial the other day in which the defense attorney didn't want one of the victims - the one who lost her daughter, her unborn child, as well as having to relearn everything again since she's paralyzed - to be a witness because her testimony would be too heartbreaking.
