:: Demons, demons, everywhere! What fun it was to be the six at the moment. Letting out a heavy sigh, Alexis watched as the Spellbinder unleashed an army of demons in their direction. Throwing her hand out in a calm fashion, bolts of lightning flew from the palm of her hand and fried the first three demons in the pack coming towards her. The other demons didn't even flinch...stepping over their comrades dead bodies, they continued to make their way to the meta human. ::

"One point, Alexis."

:: Spinning in a circular motion, Alexis then extended her hand out in front of her. The moment she made a complete 360 degree turn, a 30 foot electrical whip had formed in her hand and was unleashed at the remaining demons. The whip wrapped around the three remaining demons, burning their skin on contact. Pulling the whip towards her, the demons stumbled to the ground and immediately began struggle to regain their composure. But Lex wasn't done yet. Letting go of the electrical whip, it soon began to slither towards the fallen demons turning into what looked like a snake...with a smirk, Alexis extended her hand toward the demon, her palm facing upward. Clenching her hand into a fist, the electrical snake constricted around the three demons frying them until their bones melted. The attack emitted strobe light-like effects, and the demons could be heard screaming for mercy. Finally, within a blinding exploding light, the demons exploded, sending burnt body parts and organs everywhere. ::

"Point number two for Alexis."

:: With a small giggle, she watched as Blaze leaped down from the ceiling next to her. Raising a brow, she nodded at the mutant who asked for assistance to terminate two annoying little bugs. Looking up towards the ceiling, Alexis cocked her arm back and tossed 4 energy balls at the demons, two for each of them. The moment before the energy balls made contact with the demons, Alexis quickly put her hand in a "stop" formation as the balls of energy exploded into billions of little energy balls, flying into the demons all at the same time. ::

"Let's make this point number three..."

:: With a smile, Alexis squinted her eyes and all of a sudden, the demons stopped dead in their tracks....their eyes widened with fear as a massive shockwave exploded OUT of both the demons, slicing them in half. Alexis had energized all the energy at the same time, sending an internal shockwave, killing the demons instantly. ::

"Ouch."

:: Shaking her head, Alexis turned around to only find Cameron had been hit pretty bad by a bolt of black lightning...and seemed to have been attacked by a demon. Karen was assisting him....Damnit...I need to get to Morgan... Alexis had an idea of her own...but she first had to find where Morgan was hiding. These demons were nothing more then insects to her, and she needed to find the queen bee. Biting her bottom lip, the meta human began to look around. ::

"Come out, come out, wherever you are..."
 
** Eyeing Alexis carefully, Blaze followed down after her. Jumping down from the ceiling after the demons were destroyed. Quietly, walking behind the Meta Human, Blaze slide her arm around Shockwave's bicep. **

"I don't think so..."

** Her eyes flickered with a spark of fire. Foxfire sensed Alexis' new found of adventure and independence. Shaking her head, she smirked over at her. **

"I certainly hope you come after me like this...once you give in to my charms..."

** Winking, Blaze laughed when she released Shockwave's arms before folding her arms across her chest. **

"You stay with me, get it? Got it? Good, its settled. Your not venturing out of my sight...Morgan isn't to be taken lightly, we stick together..."

** Glancing back, Blaze locked eyes with the Meta Human turning to see Prophet assisted by Karen. The irony of such a picture was rather poetic. **
 
:: Looking to Blaze as she took Alexis by the arm, the blonde let shook her head. ::

"Thank you for that Oprah moment."

:: Yanking her arm away from Blaze, Alexis knew the mutant was only looking out for her, but she knew her idea would work if she could just follow through with it. Parting her lips with her tongue, Shock began to step away from Blaze, continuing to look around the battle-filled streets. But her eyes soon trailed up the large building knocking Morgan was watching over them like a hawk. ::

"Common, Morgan! You know you've wanted a piece of me since the day I walked into your office and called you an insufferable, washed-up, SLUT!"

:: Yelling at the top of her lungs...Alexis was pushing Morgan's buttons...and her buttons were already pretty much worn out, therefore Morgan was either going to come down and attack Alexis like she hoped, or wait to torcher her later. Sadly, Alexis was opting for option number one. ::

"You want to kill me bad, don't you...so bad you can taste it. Well common! Come get me."
 
< Erika went forthe at the Demons of Limbo, determined to not make this her last battle. Her eyes instantly became a bright Silver almost glowing white as she cast out her hands and screamed in a few of the Lesser Demons Faces. >

"HEARTS!"

< The Demons kept running forthe until they stopped briefly before shrieking and falling dead to the ground as the hearts of four demons appeared at Erika's feet. Turning around she was going to need a plan. Calling upon her elemental connection to the water. She immediately transformed into but a mere pool of the liquid itself before it started expand and grow larger and larger by the minute. Erika propelled herself up higher and higher as it looked like a huge water tornado was in the air and suddenly, that water tornado turned into a gigantic tidal wave that crashed into a wave of demons, knocking them back with extreme force while throwing some under the water, restricting their breathing. She kept barrelling forward not stopping until she was sure a good chunk of demons had been killed. She knew more would come but she would be prepared. >

"I challenge you Morgan! BRING ON YOUR WORST!"

< She reformed and turned around looking at the wave of destruction she had come with demons that obviously had broken bones and some had been drowned and others were dead. She ran over to her brother's side after seeing that he had fallen. She picked him up off the ground in a non maternal manner and looked him dead in the eye. >

"Do NOT fall. The King Family does NOT fall and not get back up! You need to be strong!"

< She turned to Karen and noticed that she had warded off some of the demons with a clever shield. >

"Have you found any weaknesses we can prey on?"
 
** Just what the hell was Alexis doing? She was going to get herself killed! Blaze's anger was becoming more apparent when Alexis defied her purposely walking further away. Walking faster than before, Foxfire forcefully YANKED Shockwave by her costume fast and furiously. Her eyes morphing over to the same red tint her sister wore when enraged. **

"What is YOUR problem Alexis?! You trying to be the hero? Huh! Don't you understand, I'm trying to look out for you and you just wave me off like your assistant! I don't think so!"

** Pulling Alexis along by her suit, she contained an uncanny strength level due to her heightened adrenaline levels. Spinning Alexis around, Foxfire burned her eyes into her. **

"You want my sister? you go through ME to get to her! I won't allow you to get hurt..."
 
"UGH!"

:: Being pulled by Blaze, Alexis whipped around glaring at the woman. Okay, there was a difference between protecting and interfering...Blaze had definatley stepped over that line. ::

"I'm not trying to be anyone's hero! Morgan is toying with us Blaze! She's sending all her best demons out to try and distract us, and we need to stop her NOW!"

:: Pulling away from the fire elemental. ::

"Look...we all need to be in the top of our game. Morgan CAN'T let my comments go without coming down here and setting me straight. I'm getting her down to OUR level so we can end this feud! Don't you understand this? Either way, whether it be now or later, we HAVE to fight her!"
 
"Calling Morgan out is one thing but harassing her is another..."

** She stood in front of the Meta Human with a stubborn look plastered across her face. She knew Morgan would follow through on her attack. Clenching her jaw, Blaze stepped a side with a worried look held within her emerald eyes. **

"She will come for you....your the worm and she is the eagle...I just hope you know what your doing Alexis....for yourself and this team."

** Blaze knew most couldn't comprehend her passionate way of thinking but it was who she was. However, she knew the team had to bring Morgan down to their level. It was difficult for Foxfire through, this whole ordeal was. Her eyes drifted up, looking for her sibling. Where was she? As the fine hour became clear, Blaze's own morals were not, could she go through with this? Should she walk away now? **

"Go...but be careful."

** Looking away, Blaze stood away from Alexis, who could continue on. Sighing under her breath, she counted down until Spellbinder showed her power without consequence....**
 
:: as Ororo bombards a demon with an onslaught of hail stones...pelting him and battering him....suddenly all the demons stop in their tracks...turning to stone and becoming one with the environment..looking like randomly placed statues....the dark cave seemed a eeriely silent now...with only the faint sound of dripping water and the sound of a crying baby carried on the winds that still flowed through the cavern::

::Ororo turns her head sharply as Alexis and Erika call out Morgan....a look of extreme disapproval falls over her face as she stands..her robe and goddess dress flowing slightly in the breeze::

Ororo: "YOU'RE LEVEL"? foolish child, you know not what you ask for. Do you think things are so easily dealt with? if that were the case...we would not have found ourselves where we are NOW!


:: stepping forward, as Karen joins her...Ororo looks around::

we are hemmed in...we need to find our way to the plateau of power...and gain more space...not to mention reaching Morgan's alter that faces the weakest point of the barrier between earth and Limbo::


:: but even as Ororo motioned for everyone to move on....the cavern began to rumble...and winds gusting at random with HARSH effect::
 
TOO LATE!


<< a chime and thunder sounds off...as disc opens above Erika's head. Morgan SMASHES down a boulder on her head with such force before coming through the disc herself....smacking shockwave across the jaw with ALL her might...there is a sickening crack heard in the air....as Morgan flings her hands upward...and detonantes a cocussive force blast in a ballistic fashion...sending everyone flying every which way>>


you asked for it...and now you've GOT IT!


<< Morgan stands tall....shadows lengthening around her like tentacles...as her hair flows, her eyes glow solid white and she smiles with the same demonic gleam as any demon>>

the time has come for you to DIE!
 
< Erika reemed from the pain as she clammered to her feet, thankful for her extremely powerful healing gifts for it not for them, she would probably be on the floor and unconscious. She stood strong in front of the Sorcerer, remarkably shorter but looking no less strong or powerful. She sneered at the Sorceress being extremely catty. >

"Morgan, the Vengeful Scorned Woman look is becoming worn out on you! Can't you find a new vice for God's Sake?"

< Before she could say anything else she was blasted back by Spellbinder's extremely powerful attack. Closing her eyes she quickly dissipated in a flurry of orbs before resurfacing right in front of the Sorceress completely in tact. >

"Okay, now can we stop this nonsense! You got your point across! Nobody is going to piss you off for a LONG time! Now can you just call this thing off and go home?"

< She was somewhat walking on egg shells. Erika would have to be the one to respond not the offense. Morgan was a teleporter and could easily evade attacks thrown at her. If they were to battle it would have to be toe to toe and Erika would need to get herself on an even playing ground. >
 
:: Feeling the winds pick up, Alexis could tell something was about to happen. And sure enough, it did. Morgan came through her stepping disc, dropping a huge boulder on Erika's head that would most likely knock her out. Seeing this, there was enough time and space between herself and Erika for Alexis to dive to the ground before Spell pummled her in the face. Rolling to her feet, Alexis turned around to face Morgan whom was glaring at them like they were nothing more then insects she was about to squash. Waving her arm in a circular motion above her head, her electrical whip appeared once again as she snapped it mere feet away from Morgan's face to only send a massive amount of sparks to fly into her face. Hoping to blind the sorceress, Alexis waved the whip around once more allowing it to wrap tightly around Morgan, before she pulled it towards her, sending intense, deadly electrical pulses into her body. Ten times worse then an electric chair used to kill prisoners. ::
 
<< a light circle appears under morgan's feet...she teleports out of Alexis' reach in the blink of an eye....and reappears along side her.>>

<< elbowing her in her eye before spinning a round house kick to Alexi's stomach, Spellbinder finishes off the attacking with a well placed eldritch bolt to her chest to send her flying even FURTHER than she would have from initial impact>>

Erika King? dont you get tired of trying to be the Paul Revere of the group? you cannot marshall its forces anymore than you can hope to over come my power! i nearly killed your mother.....and i can do MORE than that to YOU and your SOUL!

<< gesturing as a halo of dark magick forms around her hands.....Morgan casts a spell and Erika finds her body DECAYING as she stands there...maggots and bugs infesting her from within and without...she feels as if she's been DEAD and in the ground for a YEAR>>
 
< As Erika feels her body start to decay her own regenerative processes began to charge up as her skin begins to heal and the bugs begin to fall out of her and on to the ground which is a surprise to even Erika herself. Her healing had never been that advanced before and it made her wonder about her future on if she would. Erika calms herself enough to ignite her OWN Healing Spell which is accented by white sparkles and orbs that shimmer around her body and seem to stand there for a moment before fading away, leaving Erika completely healed. >

"Morgan! The one thing that you have always FAILED to understand, is that the magick I harness is something that YOU will never be able to control or understand. It's the epitome of good and light! A light that left your corner a long time ago, leaving only Shadow! You have Gone OFF the Deep End and we are ALL Here to make sure you can do NO More Harm!"

< Orbing away from view she appears behind the Sorcerer as she kicks her hard in the back, still using the strength she had summoned from her fight with Black. Though Morgan was extremely strong, she had to figure that Black would be almost on par with her strength. As Spellbinder stumbled back, Erika raised a Mystic Shield and began to Chant. >

"I Bind You MORGAN from doing harm! Harm to yourself and harm to other people..."

< The Winds began to howl and slowly light rain as falling down in the middle of a cave, a sign that Erika was working her magick. The rain didn't harm anyone but to Morgan it was like Holy Water and she would not like it. If Erika could stop this madness for just one moment they might be able to salvage things. She stood strong now, her voice growing louder and louder, but still in a stern yet calm state. >

"I Bind You MORGAN from doing harm! Harm to yourself and harm to other people. I Bind You MORGAN from doing harm! Harm to yourself and harm to other people..."
 
:: Her head snapped back from the impact of the elbow to her eye. She was then kicked in the stomach and finished off by an eldritch bolt to the chest, sending her flying backwards. Before hitting the ground, an energy disk appeared uner Alexis, stopping her from falling. Taking a few moments to catch her breath, the bolt not only burnt her skin but took her breath away. Coughing, the meta human soon stood back on her own two feet, looking in Morgan's direction..... ::

:: Stomping her foot on the ground, a large rumble could her heard as hundreds of SOLID neon blue snakes came up from the concrete around Morgan's feet instantly. She knew there was a shred of humanity left in Morgan, and she would hope to play off her fear of snakes long enough so Morgan wouldn't teleport away. That and the fact Erika had just unleashed an attack on Morgan...hopefully the sorceress was distracted. Soon, the snakes actually began to ABSORB INTO Morgan's flesh.....Alexis waited. ::
 
<< Morgan stumbles forward ....a fair move from Erika indeed...and feeling the restrictive pull of Erika's magickal strike...Morgan grits her teeth...as she inhales...and staggers... Shockwave's neon blue snakes manifest themselves...as Morgan covers her face with her hands......she exhales with extreme agitation>>


<<thunder begins to crash...drowning out Erika's voice...and the winds whistle with an almost SIREN like sound as they began to swirl tightly around the cavern...LOWERING the air pressure around the group...making it harder for them to breathe>>


STOP IT!!! I AM SORCERESS SUPREME!!

<< Lighting BLASTS down....creating an inverted lighting effect around Morgan as she screams and is enshrouded in shadow.....her costume shreds away...as a clanging sound is heard..she is now completely covered in armour...including her face with only a strategic silver opening along the eye area to reveal glowing red eyes. metallic silver horns seamlessly jut out from the headdress of the armour....and she now has a tail.>>

<<shrieking with rage....She BUSTS OUT OF her bindings....now possesed of blinding berserker wrath...and wielding the SOUL SWORD...she rushes forward...and with a mighty swing with both hands...she slashes Erika across her stomach with the flaming white blade of the sword. this blade, which can disrupt ANY spell and MAME any enchanted creature or being ....more often than not resulting in DEATH>>

YOU CANT STOP ME!! ILL KILL YOU!! KILL YOU ALL!!

<< she turns toward alexis....and extends her armoured hand....turning Alexis' lower body to solid stone and cementing her to the ground>>

BURN!

<< a wooshing sound is head as Alexis is enveloped by silver mystic flames from her torso up>>
 
:: Seeing that both her's and Erika's attack actually stunned Spellbinder, Morgan stood long enough for the snakes to absorb INTO Morgan's body, leaving a MASSIVE quantity of energy within the sorceress. Morgan of course, didn't realize this...and soon turned into something that didn't even look human. Watching her attack Erika with the soul sword...Alexis knew all to well what that sword was, and WHAT it could do to someone. And she too attacked Alexis, making her legs into stone...keeping her bound to the ground. But she didn't stop her attacks. Extending her hand out, Alexis began to control the energy within Morgan's body......feeling as if her(Morgans) skin was crawling with insects, Alexis' eyes turned a stark white. The energy's heat began to intensify making Morgan feel like she was burning from the inside out. Lifting her hand in the air, Morgan lifted as well...this of course, only done because she had completely control over the massive amount of energy within the sorceress' body. The energy within Spellbinder's body was then manifested into electricity as Alexis began to electricute her from the inside out. With one last attempt to knock her out...Alexis cocked her arm back, before throwing it forward, sending Morgan flying into the opposing brick wall behind her. During this ordeal, Morgan had yet again unleashed another attack on Alexis, causing her upper body to engulf in mystic flames. Screaming, she tried to put the flames out as best she could...hoping her attack would atleast stall Morgan. ::
 
<< Shockwave was foolish enough to think that SHE would be able to subdue Spellbinder....at this critical stage in the game. her previous attack allowed her to gain a foothold on some of spellbinder's energy signature and she capitalized on that...attacking Spellbinder with an inverted electrocution attack>>

<< Spellbinder's last shred of humanity gave way to berserker rage...shockwave STUPIDLY tried the tactic that ororo warned them ALL against trying...and now there was no going back>>

<< Spellbinder's glowed soild red..with energy sparking and surging out of them.....as she seemed to convulse from the attack of Shockwave...she even fell to the ground. but after a few seconds of seemingly being subdue...she immediately STARTED UP......looming large like Jason Vorhees>>


you ...have just signed.......your DEATH WARRANT!

<< Spellbinder's voice climaxed with the thunder...a war cry...as she EXPELLED the presence of Shockwave's signature from her body and returned it right back to her. it was HER's after all... and with it...Spellbinder's last vestiage of humanity left her as well. Spellbinder RETURNED Alexis' attack BACK upon her with INTEREST...as she ignited her imitation spell, replicated the Same process in HER that she had against Spellbinder.>>


SAY GOODBYE!
 
:: Ororo was truly exasperated with the heroics of Alexis and Erika::

Ororo: the foolish impetuous drive of youth. did she really think she had the power to stop Morgan?

:: extending her hands as small vortexes of wind formed around them, Ororo's eyes glow white and her hair blows::

a vortex of wind to clear the air...and deliver them from their doom!

:: rushing white winds sweep from behind Ororo and surge ahead....charging at high velocity...and sweeping away ANYTHING not firmly nailed down. it was a harsh thing to do indeed, as Ororo BLASTS everyone from within the cavern OUT onto the large, menacing platform, demonic alter that was the pinnacle of the empire state building..where critical mass would take place. giving EVERYONE much needed room to breathe and fight...as well as regain their bearings::


:: Erika was badly hurt, and Shockwave on the verge of death. Morgan no longer appeared "human"...a creature covered in armour from top to bottom...even her face.....she had bottomed out thanks to Alexis playing on her deep seeded fear. NOW not only was she hell bent on destroying them out of revenge...but she also felt the need for her SURVIVAL depended on their deaths ::


KAREN!!! these children are doing more harm than good...evacuate them! I will do what i can again against Spellbinder.

::Ororo was extremely agitated, and a feeling of hopelessness was betrayed through her voice...as they now were confronted with the image of the baby cameron on the alter, guarded by the immense winged, techno organic demon N'astirh....and the skies seemed to be churning with anticipation for the breaking point when Limbo took over the city.::
 
:: Fortunatly for her, Morgan's attack only caused minimal damage to Alexis, as she could control the energy signatures that were sent back to her from Spellbinder. Shockwave could feel the intense heat within her body...but she was able to stop the electrical currents from coming about, only causing Alexis to be uncomfortable, not injured. Morgan's previous attack actually caused the meta human more anguish then the attack sent back at her. She had burn marks on her arms and neck. She was able to sheild her face for the most part with her hands. Though it seemed that the mystic flames died down once Morgan attacked Alexis once again, she didn't know for how long. Alexis was pretty much a sitting duck. Well, a statue of a sitting duck, really. She couldn't do much of anything, but hope she could defend herself against Morgan...but luckily, Ororo had helped out. Winds began to surge around the group, and soon, they were ontop of the Empire State Building. Slumping to the ground, Alexis was badly burned for the most part, but not incapable of fighting. Pushing herself up off the ground...it was a bit of a struggle, but she wouldn't be taken down so easily. Standing, she heard Ororo's words about how Alexis pushed her to the brink of no return....Alexis did what she had to. She wasn't going to stand around and WAIT for Morgan to attack them...and sure as hell wasn't going to waste her energy on the demons Morgan sent out after them. She called Spellbinder out, and she attackedh er with her worse fear because it was what had to be done. Blame Alexis in the end, she didn't care as long as they got out of this alive. ::
 
<< Karen was nauseated with grief as she watched her daughter strike the others....it was all happening so fast and climaxing...she felt like SHE was out of control and helpless>>

<< the backlash of fire and energy caused Karen to cover her face...shielding herself with her cape. the situation was deteriorating fast>>

What are we going to DO!?!

<< Ororo took control and swept everyone from the cavern to the outer plateau....were the grim reality of what was instore for the baby cameron and the city was apparent. a new monster stood looming over the baby at the alter...and the skies around them indicated that disaster was near. She felt weak...and faint in heart...like she had failed her daughter ..and this wave of guilt and anguish could be seen all over her face.>>

We've come this far....and it looks like....we may not make it......


<< Karen knelt down by Alexis...a look of grim concern on her face. she waved her hand slowly over Alexis' face...and began to repair the cosmetic damage, nullify the pain as best she could. PART of her agreed with Ororo...Alexis' playing hard ball with Morgan now made things worse...but she couldnt let anyone fall..not if she could help it at all. as Ororo seemed to become unhinged herself..most likely from fear and exasperation...Karen struggled to her feet....as Ororo ordered her to get the rest of the Six away from there.>>

NO Ororo...I'm NOT leaving you here alone to face her! She's my daughter...and I HAVE to help....and I cannot abandon YOU either.

<< the area began to shake and quake....as Morgan's energy signature could be seen charging the mouth of the cavern leading to the platform....there was no telling what would appeare before them. What damage Alexis had done to the body that Morgan now possesed.....but one thing was for sure...there was no more restraint on her part.>>
