All is well?!
Nicolas left with his team from Themyscira, but he left Athena with a parting shot of sorts. He thought to her as he faded from view.
Don't be a stranger. WE humans can be rather entertaining AND enlightening, and I make a great host. Consider this your open invitation...
Nicolas chuckled to himself as the team reappeared to find Barbara Minerva's former home intact, like it had always been that way. It was amazing. He wondered who would take this home now, but was saddened to hear who it would be. ALISON. She was no longer theirs, she belonged to the world and her secrets, secrets that she would be bound to safeguard. He was saddened to lose her but he knew that she was going to a destiny that she had prepared for all her life, and he knew he would see her again. he stood still as he drank in the emotion of the moment, the happiness to find them both well, the grief at losing one of them, and the excitement at the thought of getting closer to the other.
As Hecate's astral form faded, he left his body and spoke to her alone in his own astral form before she faded away.
In another time, another place, WE would have been wonderful. <<Looks at Morgan>>> I will take good care of her.
Nicolas returned to his body and stepped forward to touch Delilah's shoulder as she grieved in Alison's arms. He looked around at everyone and gave a satisfied nod. Even though this moment was bittersweet, this team had stuck together and made it farther than even some of them could have imagined.
He hugged Alison with one arm and kissed her forehead. He then stepped over to look at Morgan. Her new costume was alluring, and he made no secret that he was appreciative.
NICE new look. Do you think we can re-schedule the last half of our date sometime??
