Woo, Another "Dr. P" article for ya. What do you guys think about threesomes? Ever had one? I haven't, don't know if I ever would either. It would depend upon the situation and the participants ;) :D

I personally think it's quite revolting. Sex is something to be shared and treasured with you and that one person you care for above all others. I believe it would just ruin the whole point. And the idea of another person all over my partner... right before/after/during me or whatever... is very disturbing.
 
Now as every heterosexual male in America I have seen pornography and the graphic sensual images of a threesome or moresome. It has been the ulitimate test of a man's carnal manhood can he handle 2 or more hot women at once? Will they please themselves in homosexual ways for his heterosexual pleasure? I I know 4 guys that actually have done the act. One had his girlfriend set it up, the other 2 didn't enjoy it, one saw how the women reacted with each other and left, he felt there was nothing more he could do (long graphic story).

I think 3 somes from the male aspect are a facade. To me it's just stuff you have seen in many movies pornographic and non pornographic. To me if I wanted to include my S/O in a threesome then I don' t need to be with her or the other woman.

To me it's reckless fantasy, and if you are in a relationship looking for a threesome you need to get out. Magic Johnson HIV infected Magic Johnson had sex one night with 5 women (a sixsome) a reporter asked him was it some sort of sexual fantasy he said, "I guess for both of us."

Done it in my younger days, though never within a relationship, nor would I do it in a relationship. That's just asking for trouble. My 3-somes were always me and two men. In my opinion, they're hyped up to be more than they are. It was boring.
 
Why is it that whenever men think of a threesome they vision two women and a male? Threesomes CAN be two men and a female as well. ;) :D Just as DW commented about her past.

I've been invited to three different threesomes, LOL! Two of them a straight couple and the third, a gay couple. It was flattering to me, an ego booster really. :angel:

But I've turned all of them down. LC made an excellent point and I really with her. Sex should in MY opinion be with two people, to use the cliche, "three's a crowd." It really is, I wouldn't want someone bugging me and Jess. :sad: I get very possessive and jealous, so if ANYONE touched her, they'd pay for it, lol. So I don't share well and I'm very selfish with her. She agrees with me, our motto is "we won't share well."

Its good for others but we're against it. :shrug: If others wanna have threesomes, go for it. But personally, its not arousing to me in the least. The third party would get in my way, even if they were performing on me, etc. I also think its human nature to be excited about different places and techniques but these are a snooze to me.

One of the MANY best things about sex is the intimacy with someone. And I think with a threesome, you'd lose that. I enjoy being close to my partner and no one else. Plus, you have the risk of that third party having some sort of STD or getting you pregnant (if you're a female) or even AIDS. I know those are far fetched but you never know. And they could also brag to their friends, "hey, I had a threesome." Unless they are discreet about the whole thing.

I'm not a fan of them at all. :igitt:

i totally agree. men ALWAYS assume its two women and that these women will be so wildly enthused about sleeping with any man (have you noticed how most men who blubber on and fantasize about three somes are fat, tactless, classless blue collar types?)

I can honestly say i have NOT been involved in a threesome..but i dont know what the future holds. I know that i have been raised by two doctors and accustomed to being treated a certain way, and so If i were involved in a threesome..i'd probably expect to be the center of attention..its just how i am...and i would want it to be with two men.....two black men:D preferrably FRIENDS that i have known for a long time and in the privacy and comfort of my home.

I think that threesomes are NOT a good idea to try to salvage any kind of sexlife... if your relationship is to the point that youre thinking about sleeping with someone else... thats not good news and only YOU and your PARTNER can fix it.

I've never been in one... but that's not to say that if the perfect opportunity came along... i wouldnt take it. I'm all about options... and the ability to be VERY choosy. :D

At the beginning of my most current relationship... my guy asked me if i would be open to that sort of thing... i told him... i'd try anything once[twice if i like it ;)] BUT... I'd have to approve the "third party".. and that he should know before hand... my standards are SKY HIGH, lol. I told him that if he found someone I was attracted to... wed go from there. I think he just wanted to see my reaction... because he didnt bring it up after that.

I don't see anything wrong with a threesome. I've had one...well, to a point. lol. I find it to be fun and different. Although I don't know how I would react to having a threesome in a relationship. Like others have said...in relationships I would get jealous and what not...but I don't see a problem with them. Whatever floats your boat.

Now back on topic. I have been invited to a threesome once, and I turned it down. I was in a relationship at the time and I told her it would be too dangerous for our relationship.

From everyone I know of that has had one, the results are never good in the end. Now orgies are another thing.....;)

I don't know if I should really add anything to this forum! If you've seen my intro and by my name, you know that I would like to be with more than one woman at a time. I reckon that makes me greedy, but that's what I would like to try!
I don't think I'll ever be able to do one though b/c of my current schedule, but who knows what will happen in the future.
Oh well, reading these responses have opened my eyes to a lot of things about 3somes!
