<< Months have passed the scars have closed up...to a point.>>

<< The Six, as it is today is very different from when it first began over a year ago. Members have come, gone, died, resurrected, disappeared, betrayed, forgiven and betrayed again...and through it all, they've managed to save the world many times over.>>

<< Having lived in exile on the mysterious Isle of Aerie for several months now, the members of the Six find themselves at dawn of a new phase of their lives. a return to the REAL WORLD at large. Thanks to a "quid pro quo" bargain established between Malice and Harbinger during the Set/Isis caper, The Sisterhood have helped to ensure the Six's seamless transition back into society without anyone being the wiser.>>

<< For some, like Morgan aka SPELLBINDER, this couldnt have come at a better time, for she longed to get away from Nicolas and Haleigh two of her team mates whom she now despised as bitterly as she did her own father.>>

<< But with Illustra now nothing more than a haunting memory, Morgan had no choice but to try to start again...but not in New York, in L.A., across the country in one of her assets that she managed to hold on to, MELROSE PLACE, the cozy apartment complex with a fiery and salacious past. The building had gone vacant following its LAST land lord, Lexi Sterling, when she disappeared after her arch nemesis Eve Cleary escaped from prison. The owner BEFORE her, Amanda Woodward not only lived in the largest apart of MP, but presided over it like the blonde super bitch that she was...and Morgan was nothing if also not a blonde super bitch at heart. For many months she'd been ravaged by hurt, heartache and betrayal...the time had come for her to return to her ICY , BALL BUSTING ways.>>

<< Harbinger had returned to Minerva's Mansion to resume her duties as the Keeper of Time and the world's mystic artifacts and now, Karen Victoria b.k.a Shadow Weaver would be joining her. Persephone opted to remain behind on Aerie for a while taking some solitary time...she would travel back and forth between Minerva's mansion and the hidden isle but she was around when this island was first CREATED centuries ago...it was nothing new to her. Arsenal, would help Karen relocate to Minerva's mansion and hopefully settle any rift between himself and Alison before he decided what his next move would be.>>

<< that left MorningStar, Black Widow, Silver Swan, Firebird and Rampage to follow Morgan to L.A. where they would all take residence in the Infamous Melrose Place>>

<< it was all very surreal, the idea of returning to the world that had at one point wanted them dead. but many things had happened to move public opinion away from that and now was the time for them to reclaim some form of a true life.>>

<< but of course, with every new change, comes a whole new set of problems. and so we watch.>>

Crimson Point - New York City

A bitter breeze greeted Claudia Zacchara as she stood motionless in front of the large twelve foot iron gate, flanked by thick stone walls of the same height, that wrapped around her family's estate. Closing her knee length black coat tightly around her body, she kept it shut with her arms -- folding them across her torso defensively. It had been forteen years since she last stepped foot in her family's home. Since she had been banished like a common whore by her own father. Staring intensely at the large sprawling mansion, the orange and pink painted skies made it seem almost inviting....Almost.

The subtle dusk sunlight illuminated only the western half of the home, bringing Claudia's attention to the large balcony that overlooked the mile long driveway. It was the last place Claudia had seen her baby sister Clara, when leaving her home those many years ago. The vivid memories of that day flashed into the brunette's mind. Her bags being thrown into the trunk of her father's car by his driver as she stood by the open back passanger door, staring stone faced at Anthony and Trevor. Tears of anger and pain flooded her chocolate eyes at the sight of the two men standing there watching, as if they were proud of what they were seeing. Like they had accomplished something. But it was the sound of Clara shouting Claudia's name that finally drew her attention up to the balcony. The sight of her younger sister crying finally broke Claudia's walls. Tears fell from the inners of her eyes and straight down her cheek, warming her frozen face. Even that day was bitter cold.....ironic.

Closing her eyes and inhaling deeply, Claudia forced those memories away, knowing that now was not the time to loose her focus. Stepping forward with her red stiletto pumps, Claudia pushed open the iron gate and entered the property. It was amazing how everything seemed to be the same. Like she had never left. Passing the numerous body guards strategically placed around the entry of the home, they all seemed to stare at her in awe. Whether they were shocked at the fact that the infamous 'banned daughter' had returned, or simply because the air around her seemed to melt with every step she took, was yet to be determined. Perhaps a little of both. Finally crossing the threshold, the house was large....quiet. Her heals creating an echo down the vast hallways as she slowly sauntered forward. For whatever reason, she was being drawn to the study...where it had happened. Perhaps it was her masochistic attitude rearing it's ugly head again, but Claudia didn't waver as she reached the dark stained double doors, pushing them open.

Standing motionless for a moment, her dark eyes scanned the room. All of it was exactly the same. Down to the vase full of freshly picked roses from Maria's [Anthony's late wife] rose garden placed on her father's desk. Claudia moved forward, taking in her surroundings. Her hands were now slacked by her side; her black coat exposing her red wrap dress that fit perfectly against her body. Reaching her father's desk she casually drug the tips of her fingers across the smooth mahogany wood. Picking up a silver picture frame, Claudia turned it around seeing a photo of Maria. Returning it to it's place, she picked up another framed picture, this time of Clara. Parting her mouth, Claudia exhaled as her eyes took in every inch of her sisters face. She was beautiful....and most notably, she had Maria's green eyes. A vast contrast to Claudia's cold, chocolate orbs. For many years Claudia's uncle Rudy had given her pictures of Clara; like a proud parent sending their child's school photos to various family members. But she had never seen this particular picture. As Claudia stood with her back to the study's doorway looking at the photo, she was unaware that she was now, not alone.

Crimson Point -- New York City

Clara lounged in the library, a grand, sweeping room with an enormous fireplace and oversized chairs. There were so many books in this room that one could spend eternity here.... and Clara often spent her evenings here; warmed by the fire, escaping reality a story at a time. Tonight she read Alexandre Dumas' classic The Count Of Monte Cristo. She empathised with the main character, who at this point in the story, was still stuck in the prison he'd wrongfully been condemned to. She'd read the story before... but it was one of her favorites, for the protagonist escaped and got revenge on all who had wronged him... and even though the ending wasn't Hollywood.... neither was life, and THAT was something Clara could appreciate.

The door opened. Clara glanced up at Johnny, the man who was sitting in the arm chair across from her. He was her main bodyguard, and was always with her, even when they weren't expecting trouble. Clara's father Anthony took NO chances with his daughter. She was to be protected at ALL times. She was heir to the family 'fortune'.

Johnny gave her a gesture that told her not to be alarmed, as he rose from his seat to meet the person at the library door. Whispering was exchanged, and then Johnny came back over.

Johnny: "Claudia has returned."

Clara looked up sharply. "My SISTER Claudia?"

He gave a soft nod. Clara sat there, momentarily stunned. Her sister had not been home in fourteen years. They had spoken in half that. The only reason Clara knew what her sister looked like at this point was because Clara looked them up on the internet.

Clara took a deep breath and laid her book down, standing up and smoothing her high-waisted, almost knee length skirt and checking her silk, deep purple blouse for static cling. She tossed her long, brunette hair behind her and headed for the door.

"I hope you didn't make her wait out in the cold."

She said sternly to the guard who'd delivered the news. The guard politely indicated that Claudia was in the study, and he moved out of Clara's way, holding the door open as she passed him, headed for her father's study, Johnny in tow.

Long, elaborately woven rugs lined the halls of the Zacchara estate and so, the sound of heels did not always announce Clara's entrance. She stood in the doorway, watching her sister pick up a picture from the desk. She was quiet a moment, her breath caught in her throat, butterflies in her stomach. Despite her feelings about her sister's absence... she WAS a little excited to see her again. She took another deep breath and composed herself. Her sister's back was turned, and she likely didn't know Clara was there yet.

"Be careful with that one; it's Daddy's favorite."

Claudia's eyes remained on the photo of her sister, but her thoughts were elsewhere now. Burried deep in the depths of her mind where no sane person would dare venture to. But her daydream was cut short by a voice; Clara's. It hadn't taken long before word got around that she had arrived; she was mildly flattered. Lifting her head, Claudia didn't immediately turn around. She had already anticipated her sister's reaction. Anger, resentment, bitterness. She was a Zacchara afterall. But all those hours of preperation for this moment didn't ease Claudia's panicked stomach.

Finally turning, Claudia's eyes met with Clara's. The pictures didn't do her justice. In that moment, she felt whole again. Like the piece that had been missing from her heart after all her years away was finally back in place. A small smile tugged Claudia's lips.

"I can see why. It's beatiful......you're beautiful."

With a gentle shake of her head, Claudia couldn't believe that the little midget she once used to lift up to get toys and treats off the counter was now this beautiful young lady. Not to mention an inch TALLER than her now. Placing the picture flat on the desk behind her, Claudia moved forward, closing the gap between the two woman.

"God, you've grown, Clar-bear."

Embracing her sister, Claudia kissed Clara's cheek before pulling away to allow her sister a bit of breathing room. She could feel the awkward tension in the room.

"How have you been?"

Nicolas emerged from the shower, toweling himself off as he went. He was deciding what to do with the rest of his day, having already taken care of his businesses. He wasn't sure how many days it had been since morgan had spoken to him civilly. At this point, he didn't really care.

He'd had enough of guilt and pain from what happened; if Morgan's position was going to stay as ut was, he saw little need to spend precious time trying to make amends. Either she would come around or she wouldn't; he was sorry, it was a terrible mistake on his part, but her refusal to try to understand what had gone on or to even deal with him on any other terms than her own pain was WAAAAAY past old. And so he slowly moved on. But today was harder than some other days, and he wanted to get a workout. And he wanted a friendly face. So her reached out to HER mentally.

Haleigh...you up for some heavy sparring?? I have energy to dispel and I could use a real workout. You on for twelve rounds?

Claudia offered a slight smile, but Clara did not return it, even when her sister marveled at how pretty she'd become. Clara gazed at her sister, taking the sight in... so different now. The last time she'd seen her sister in person, she'd been eleven. Claudia used to seem so tall... larger than life. Now Clara stood eye level with her... but still... she felt like she was looking up at Claudia. She looked older... more wordly... and in the daring red dress...

"So are you. It looks like Milan was very good to you."

Her sister came over and gave her a hug, a kiss on the cheek, remarking that Clara had grown. Clara hugged back, gently replying:

"More than you know."

But the nickname seemed to soften her, and finally, she let a little smile show as she pulled back, tucking a lock of her hair behind one ear.

"Nobody's call me that in years. Do you want something to drink?"

She offered, moving towards the small drink cart, adding ice to a glass and pouring herself some Tanqueray. She didn't NEED it... but it gave her something to do... a slight distraction. As she moved deeper into the study, Johnny entered from the hall and stood now in the doorway, keeping a silent eye on things. Claudia asked Clara how she'd been... and there was a brief look of sadness that passed over Clara's face. It was not a question Clara wanted to answer. One person she didn't want to lie to was her sister. Clara was perfectly fine with smiling and placating her father, and keeping up appearances in front of Trevor and anyone else who might be looking for weakness. But with Claudia... Clara didn't even bother with the facade. Instead... she asked the big question:

"Claudia, what are you doing here?"

At Minerva's mansion, Mike dressed quietly, not wanting to wake Karen just yet. They had enjoyed a great evening together, and their lovemaking was full of even more passion and closeness than they day before. That fact made this the HARDEST. It was SOOO easy to get back in bed, let her take care of him, love him, cherish him as she had done for the last few days since Morgan and the others had left. But he knew that was not what he should do; that he had things that needed to be accomplished. He pressed a button on a small box in his pocket and waited a moment while his wolves made their appearance.

By now they were pacing silently, waiting for their master to lead them. they were wild and strong, but he had trained them well, and they were willing to do anything for him. He motioned for them to stay as he approached Karen gingerly.

Karen, honey. Wake up. I need to speak with you NOW.

"More than you know."

Those words stung Claudia to the core. It was unfair for Clara to have to grow up in this home. To backburn her childhood for a life of violence and insanity. There were so many times Claudia wanted to steal her sister away; to rescue her so she could grow up with some semblance of normalcy. But it was impossible.

"Do you want something to drink?"

"No, i'm fine."

Clara stepped away toward the small cart of alcholic beverages; there seemed to be one in every room of the house. But then again, having to live in this nut house would cause anyone to drink. Or atleast start. With Clara facing toward the mini bar, Claudia shifted her eyes to her sister's body guard Johnny, who took station outside of the study. Frankly she didn't trust anyone in this house besides her sister, regardless of their history with the family. Walking up to the double doors, Claudia gave Johnny a look of warning before smirking to the young man and shutting the study doors.

Turning back around to face her sister, her obvious dodge at Claudia's question about how she's been doing didn't surprise the brunette, so she let it go. However, Clara's question was important, and needed to be answered.

"Trevor sent for me."

Trevor Lancing, the Zacchara family attorny, was about as vile as they came. Yet for whatever reasons, Anthony kept him around. Claudia and Trevor were like oil and water. They had a long history that not even Clara knew about. So Claudia was quite surprised to hear from dear old Trevors asking her to return home. And judging by the surprised look on Clara's face, she was too.

"He told me that daddy dove off the deep end. Moreso than before if that's even possible. Apparently he refused to go to the treatment center until Trevor promised him that Maria would be watching over you. So unless your mother's been alive for the past 14 years, here I am."

Shrugging off her black jacket off, Claudia tossed it onto the leather chase nearby. She knew Clara wouldn't take kindly to the notion of being 'babysat', but honestly, it was Claudia's way in. With her father gone, she could finally take her away from this prison.

"Look. Daddy's going to be sipping juice through straws and playing checker tournaments for what I hope is an extremely long time. So while he's finally GONE and unable to dictate your life, I'm stepping in. I'm doing what I should have done a long time ago and taking you away from this hell hole."

apartment 4

<< across the spanish courtyard, and up a large, ornamental spiral staircase, there was apartment 4, it was the largest of the apartments in MP and it had belonged to such various "MP super bitches" as Amanda, Lexi and now Morgan. The deposed super model had one thing on her mind now that she was back in "the real world" and it wasn't Nicolas. It was getting her CAREER back!>>

<< if there was one thing that was classic AND inherited about Morgan it was the LEGENDARY grudge holding capability that Hecate was known for. Morgan was the same way and her bitterness toward Nicolas and Haleigh had cast a wide rift between them. One that seemed impossible to fill, at least for now.>>

<< inside her finely furnished and decorated apartment [this time a modern/contemporary theme] the long legged sorceress did a final primp in her three way mirror before grabbing her tailored escada blazer to cover up her low cut black shell underneath. her coach purse and attache and slipping into her black sling back, spiked high heels.>>

<< Morgan was dressed for business...business in the fashion industry. she had the looks AND she knew the business side of it.she still had friends in high places that had defended her even through the whole "outing", such as Madonna, Stella Mccartney, Betsey Johnson, Eve and more....between her renewed zeal for success and her connections, SOMETHING would have to work out.>>

<< she opened the door to her new home, having quite an elevated view of the courtyard she could see around to all the other doors/apartments. including the door that just opened to reveal, Nicolas. Rolling her icy violet eyes with contempt. She closed her's and locked it, coming down the stair case with a quickened pace and passing by the pool boy who was working on the large pool. She didnt notice as he stole a few glances at her legs while walking by. her high heels clicking along the ground echoed around the courtyard. >>

<< there was a contractor on the property as well, doing some last minute repairs on the electrical wiring and other small b ut no less important hidden aspects to the building.>>

do you think you'll be done by the end of business today?

<< she said coldly.>>

contractor: yes Miss Victoria. everything was handled well by the company you hired. only a few fine repairs and adjustments are needed and you'll be completely up to code.

Morgan: good. this building is a no brain investment. the money that will come in from tenants will more than make up for any expense that I forked out when buying it.

contractor: the last two owners did a good job with keeping the place up...even after that explosion in 1994. The owner at the time had some good insurance...got the building totaly renovated.

Morgan: Yes...i read about that. a Dr. Kimberly Shaw...a mental health professional just like my mother. driven over the edge by several people who lived in this building at the time.

<< she looked over her shoulder to see Nicolas walking toward Haleigh's door on the lower level.>>

Although...I can't really say i BLAME her...if they were anything like that man over there and the slut he's going to see now.

<< signing a document for the contractor.>>

See that the work is done by the end of the day. I have several units i want to fill with tenants and remember I am the only person authorized to approve any changes to this building. Anything comes up, i want a phone call.

<< with that, Morgan struts away, through the area where the mail boxes are kept and out the gates onto Melrose Avenue where her car awaits.>>

<< Morgan has changed some of her habits. for instance she now does more of her own driving. but she wont be seen anything other than a sporty, silver jaguar. and with that, after puptting on her wide rimmed gucci sunglasses, Morgan roars out of her spot, and off down the road.>>

<< she hopes that some of the feelers she put out over the last week will turn into solid offers today.>>

Minerva's mansion

<< living on Aerie had been quite an experience...to live in the Rotunda, a building "as old as time" itself amongst such lavish and luxurious surroundings steeped in history, it was an opportunity that few on earth had but their time there had been so full of emotional turmoil. from adjusting to exile, to other perosnal issues that came up. With Morgan and the others returning to the "real world" Karen found herself at a new fork in the road. Would she try to return to being a doctor? or would she find a new path? in the end she chose finding a new path. Now that she had become Shadow Weaver...she wanted to see how she could blend her status as a witch with her abilities as a mental health professional AND her desire for some adventure! Alison invited Karen to join her at Minerva's mansion, another place where luxury and technology blended together seamlessly. AND Alison was still "sort of" connected with the outside world due to the ties that Barbar Minerva had established, that she now maintained with the help of the loyal staff that remained on hand after Barbara's passing. >>

<< this was a good way for Karen to get back in the game and find out just what she wanted to do. Let the 'young people' go to Melrose Place. Morgan and Karen would remain connected no matter what.>>

<< and so, having settled into her new suite in the mansion with Mike's help, the sorceress had begun to adjust to the surroundings, and other aspects of Minerva's Mansion.>>

<< this particularly morning, she lay in her large, canopy bed, resting serenly with her eye mask on. Soon though, she felt a hand touching her and Mike's voice. She stirred slowly , before finally removing her eye mask and sitting up a bit.>>

hmmm....yes, what is it?

<< she said in a soft tone....she caught sight of the wolves, which caused her to become further alert. of all the pets counted among the six...these two bothered Karen the most. Even Ava's mountain lion was more docile but that was because ava had POWER over animals and nature. >>

Michael, must you bring those creatures in here? Alison has told you not to have them wandering about the mansion.

<< to his credit, Mike had trained them quite well and they were seemingly well behaved. Karen rapped her robe around her slip and sat upright in the bed.>>

what is it you wanted to talk about this morning?

Haleigh sat in her new office, but she wasn't doing anything productive... she was just staring out the window, her eyes unfocused. If she was still troubled by guilt or shame... it didn't show... she had managed to lock it away somewhere. She was lost in thought... but not about what had happened. She was focused on Liquid Crystal Images... and taking it to the next level. She just had to take care of ONE thing... and then she'd be able to break into the only form of images her company didn't offer: the computer generated kind. With Haleigh's abilities, she was poised to be the BEST... hands down. And now that they were on the west coast... she was very close to the most lucrative business opportunities available in the world: Hollywood.

A familiar voice reached out to her, shaking her from her thoughts. Nicolas was requesting a sparring match. Haleigh was inclined to accept. She rose from her chair, heading to her bedroom to change into some more excercise appropriate clothing.

Your place, or mine?

She thought back. It was as if they had gotten right back to the way they'd been before. Her thoughts were playful, almost dangerously so. Morgan wasn't speaking to either of them, she hadn't spoken directly TO Haleigh since the night Hecate was there on Aerie. And so... with the way things stood... it was easy to fall back into the groove of familiar interaction. Haleigh had little to look forward to these days. Her sister had stayed behind on Aerie, and Haleigh'd recent actions had alienated everyone EXCEPT Nicolas. She was always glad to spend time with him... it didn't much matter if they DID spend time together... Morgan's opinion was cemented and they might as well be doing EXACTLY what Morgan assumed they were doing...

Actually, I have us a place. Get ready and the car will be downstairs.

Nicolas knocked on the door. He was dressed in a pair of UNC sweatpants and a white compression shirt which strained against his muscles. He had more than heard some of Haleigh's thoughts, especially with how...close they had become in the past few months, and he had a surprise for her.

Nicolas waited for Haleigh to show up so they could go...

Mike clicked his tongue and the wolves departed for the yard at a brisk trot. No one really messed with them; in spite of Alison's order her staff let them be.

Mike turned back to the newly awakened Karen and sat next to her, caressing her face. He hated to be apart, but he knew this was not for him. He spoke softly to her.

Karen, I love you. VERY much. I always will. I want you to get up in a few minutes and let's have a great lunch and walk and talk and let it just be OUR day. Right now I have to go to Alison, make things right between us somehow. It is my fault, my inexperience that alienated her, and I need to speak with her about things.

After that, and our day together, I plan to fly back to the States. I can be of use to this team, in society, and I want that opportunity. I will visit as often as you allow me to, but i am purchasing an apartment at Melrose Place. I have some buddies who are going to hook me up as a stuntman and military expert for the movie industry. I find the idea exciting, and that way I can avoid being in your way as you discover your new destiny as Shadow Weaver.

He kissed her mouth softly.

But no matter what movies I do or people I meet, Good Doctor, you will still be my leading lady. Now get up and get even more beautiful, while I risk my life on last time with Alison. Keep your good spells handy.

Chuckling at his morbid joke, Mike slowly began to rise to leave...

elsewhere in minerva's mansion

:: far across the length of the mansion, on one of the higher floors, Alison was in her private chambers, sitting "indian style" in the middle of the floor, floating above it in what was a PENTAGRAM composed of blue/black mystic flame. she appeared to be meditating, or relaxing as the mystica/electronic sounds of Madonna's "Shanti Ashtangi" played over the sound system.::

:: her hair flowed around her as she continued to float.::

:: she knew Mike was on his way looking for her. The fact that she had even ALLOWED him in the mansion was a testimony to her capacity for SOME form of tolerance. After all, he was Karen's lover and who was she to stand in the way of that? ::

:: if he wanted to speak with her, he'd have to be brave enough to come to her private chambers and knock. the rest, though she would easily KNOW how it would go...she'd just play by ear. being a precog wasnt an easy way out ...even for her.::

Mike slowly made his way to Alison's private chambers. The precog was a creature of habit, often taking the morning to stay in her areas with music playing. Mike wasn't sure what she was up to, but her guessed hat today was as good as any to find out.

Now understand, Mike is not scared of SHIT. Anything. But let's be honest. Playing with the pretty precog on her own turf when she was harboring a grudge larger than Mike's old aunt Betty was not what he considered a good time. Still, he NEEDED to do this. It was the right thing, and there was no way he was going to back down from it. He breathed heavily, hoping that the goddesses put in as good a word for him as they had indicated.

He stopped at the door, laying his hand against it as the music seeped from underneath. Counting to ten, he whispered something that had to have all of Olympus whispering.

OK Athena. They say gods protect babies and fools. I am no baby...help me not to be also foolish.

He pulled his hand back form the door...and KNOCKED 3 times.

Minerva's Mansion

<< Karen listened as Mike shared with her his plans. NOW was not the time to share her reaction. She would address him properly over lunch. After he kissed her, she looked at him for a moment. Her eyes said it all. She wasnt entirely happy.>>

Very well.

<< she said as she slid out of bed.>>

I'll see you soon.

<< he asked her to have her spells on standby in case his meeting with Alison prooved "fatal". She smiled a bit and laughed softly.>>

she may be the one who revives you THIS time, Michael.

<< she watched after him as he left and then, went about preparing for the day in the shower chamber etc.>>

Minerva's Mansion- inside of her suite

:: Alison reveled in her moment of solitude just as Madonna's "Shanti Ashtangi" began to segue in to "Frozen", another Madonna track that was one of Alison's favorites to ice skate too.::

:: then came the KNOCKS at the door. she slowly opened her cobalt blue eyes. and a rushing chime sound is heard as the doors fly open.::

come in.

:: once he is in, the same sound is heard as the doors slam shut.::

...what do you want?

:: she said as she continued to sit, floating off the floor and eyeing Mike like he was a target ripe for her molecular acceleration attack. The problem with Harbinger is that while she was AWARE of things [in this case, the fact that Mike was one of their own , a fellow team mate who had earned his place] it didnt always mean she wouldnt be down right LETHAL in her responses. just ask the father of Jasmine Fielding, another member of the Six who met his death at Alison's hands.::

shouldn't you be preparing to leave Karen behind to pursue the life of a "famous stunt man" in hollywood?

:: a hurtfull blow, but Mike knew that Alison was like a daughter to Karen and she would always be considered for her surrogate mother's wellbeing.::

a life with her here wouldnt be EXCITING enough for you?

or have you come here to gloat that you were somewhat RIGHT about what happened with Nicolas and Isis? that I was "irresponsible" with my precognition...allowing my personal feelings to get in the way?

I may HAVE messed up...made a few misteps but it was because i CARE about Morgan, Karen and ALMOST everyone else on the Six. I didnt want Morgan to die at the hands of Nicolas...but she may as well be dead inside now thanks TO Nicolas and Haleigh and there's nothing I can do about that. But you made it your business to find fault with me at EVERY TURN didnt you.

Do you know why you should be THANKFULL? You should be thankfull because of this was a YEAR ago? you wouldnt be here. You'd be a pile of ASH and a sorch mark back at Malice's hellfire club thanks to me BLOWING YOU UP. So before you highlight my short comings again..i suggest you remember the fact that I have come QUITE FAR in my dealings with more than one person on this team.

Delilah opened the gate to the complex that was Melrose Place and entered, struggling a bit getting the large bags she carried through and attempting to keep the gate from slamming shut behind her. The LA sun beat down upon the courtyard as she passed by the pool to the door to her apartment. She had a ground floor unit - not as "glamourous" as Morgan's but it suited her. Plus it was the closest to the pool and she liked the idea of being able to practically fall out her door and into the water.

Unlike the others, Delilah deep down did not welcome this change of venue. She had been quite content on the island, spending her days by the calm ocean. This place - though it may also be technically by the sea - was completely different. Less like a carribbean vacation and much more stifling. Though she was happy for her friend that this opportunity would certainly end Morgan's misery at having to leave the world, she was not so happy for herself. She felt lost - even moreso than she had when they left New York City.

Plus she missed the city. New York was a part of her, her heart and soul, and Los Angeles had not filled the gap their leaving had caused. For one thing, it was so damn sunny here. It had not rained one time since they had arrived. She missed walking down the city sidewalks in the warm summer rain that washed the city clean. Here the beaches were crowded and the water was cold. She had to drive everywhere - even down the street to the grocery store. She missed walking everywhere she had to go, having anything her heart desired within a two block radius.

Adding to her mixed feelings about their move, she had not yet decided what to do with herself. Once again, she was at a point in her life where she had left her career behind. A career she had never thought she would be leaving. And Delilah had absolutely no idea what to do now.

This town was just not her, and she didn't know what to do about it. She had thrown herself into cleaning and decorating the apartment. Every couple days she was out shopping for some new thing - a new paint color, a different duvet, a couch, a blender. She had nothing better to do, and it was killing her.

Mike entered as the doors flew open, stopping just inside as the slammed back shut.

The Seer was in rare form, striking a blow at his decision to return to the states and acknowledging her shortcomings concerning the last caper, apparently thinking that he would do the same.

Mike took a breath, counted to ten again as a part of him was more than ready to remind her that he had her life in his hands, in that alternate timeline, that she COULD have easily been dead had he not risked his own life. But that was not why he was here. That was the type of back-and-forth that always managed to destroy their relationship. He would not do that today. If she needed her venom...FINE. But he would not be her playmate.

I am not here to gloat over mistakes made, Seer. No one is harder on you than you are on yourself, in spite of your anger at my past indiscretions regarding your role.

Mike began to pace, never taking his eyes off the pretty young woman as he spoke calmly.

In fact, the blame you assume for the last caper is not solely your own. I have a very large portion of that to bar. I now realize that with your burden, it is hard to be the perfection others expect. i should have been supportive of you, trusting of your power and role. I realize that if I had done so, it would have made it much easier for you to carry your burden. I hate that I was so foolish...so immature, and I know that my own fault came from a place not different from your own. Nicolas is the closest thing I will probably ever have to a son, and I could not accept your warnings that he would be lost.

Mike took a step forward, standing still as he looked at the Seer.

But that gave me no right to devalue you, or to question your role with the team...hell, with the goddamn universe! I would say I was sorry, but I would rather be given the opportunity to SHOW you I am different. Besides, I did that before, and did I do any different? NO.

Look Alison, I was wrong. I simply could not wrap my mind around the scope of your role or honestly how you could handle it. That combined with our opposing loyalties...I went on the attack, and I should have worked with you as a teammate...as a friend.

Blaze's apartment - 8

Wanton moans reverberated throughout the apartment. Slithers of writhing movements were concealed below dark crimson silk sheets. The wax pillar candles had long since burned out last night. The aroma of vanilla and jasmine wafted through the fully furnished apartment.

A smooth-slender leg would fall off the side of the King sleigh bed. A few shards of light bled through the vertical blinds. Providing just a small ounce of light to the dark apartment. While most of the Melrose Place residence were already up, a certain someone was busy ‘exercising’ indoors.

Thick-chestnut curls poked their way out from under the covers. The thick mane sprawled out across the two pillow cases when her ample chest heaved. Dark-chocolate eyes peered down below with a smirk. Merely looking at the other body responsible for her fervent pleasure. Another swivel of movements would dance together in flawless unison as the second head was poked out. Bright-sage green eyes flickered with uncanny desire and fire. Her flesh burning as their little decadent act continued. Jem’s ‘Come on Closer’ played hauntingly in the background only accentuating the sultry movements.

Rolling her eyes in the back of her head, Blaze’s manicured fingers reached behind her to graze down a muscular hip. The third and last body was pulled out from under the covers. A body like Adonis that paved way to onyx hair and bright olive eyes. Pulling Blaze backwards into his chiseled chest roughly. Spilling another round of grunts and moans. His muscles flexing with every thrust provided to Blaze who peered over her shoulder with a grin.

Oh yes, things had definitely changed since a year ago when the fiery firefly had jumped through Morgan’s stepping disk. With everything she had been through Blaze was ready for a change. Back on her old world she worked for a prestigious law firm specializing in taxation and finance as a paralegal. Now, with the move from New York to Los Angelus she would seek a job there. Working ‘under’ the finest attorney’s around until the early morning hours. While tall, dark, and handsome Darius was an Attorney who managed to feed Blaze’s insatiable appetite.

Haleigh may have alienated the others but Blaze wasn’t put off by the blonde or Nicolas. She tolerated them both but she also had loyalties to her sister, Morgan. Which, in the coming months had reverted to her frigid ball-busting self. Even so Blaze wasn’t fooled by the facade. Yet, she tried not to meddle in the affairs of others.

Beads of perspiration trickled down Blaze’s body as she rocked her hips backwards. The other brunette below her was Nora Graham , a bartender who worked at one of the more posh clubs. Collapsing together in a sea of limbs, Blaze had been sandwiched between both parties now while she smirked.

Starting off Melrose Place with a bang sounded like a good idea. Maybe Haleigh would need to manifest a fire extinguisher after all.
