Meet The Family, Maia.

Hex

:: Hex felt sick, dizzy and felt a weird feeling in his heart. He stared at Maia, his mouth was dry. He stared into the Siren's eyes, and expected what was coming next.. ::

"They're coming, Maia."

:: He stood up, taking Maia in his arms, he held her closer to him. He stood his ground, and he awaited Hallie, Charlotte and Oscar... He didnt feel that his other sister was coming.. she was the middle sister.. someone who didnt have time for her family. ::

Oscar

:: Oscar appeared in swirling black smoke.. his eyes were bright blue, just like his brother's. His hair was similar too.. blonde, highlighed naturally with his mutant genetics. ::

"Well, Well.. Big Brother, it look's like your doing well for yourself here.. with a rock like that.." :: He pointed to Maia's engagment ring. He winked slightly. ::

"The others are coming, I will warn you that Hallie is in a good mood for once.. Charlotte is also coming."

Charlotte // Vex

:: Violet shimmers swril around, a young woman forms, sparkling green eyes. She's humming as she enters, the little preformer stands up from her almost crouching enterance. Her lips are pursed together, and she smiles warmly as she see's her brother. Charlotte, also known as Vex was the closest to her big brother. Hex loved her dearly, the only sibling her truely cared for. She ran up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. ::

"Hex!"

:: Charlotte smiled, and stepped to the side, shaking Maia's hand. ::

"I guess your, Maia. Welcome to the insane family. ::

Oscar: "She's coming..." :: He nodded. ::

Hex: "I dont understand why you make a big deal of Hallie.. She's just like the rest of us."

Vex: "Well.. because........."

Hallie:

:: Green lights appear and a aura's forms Hallie hears Vex, and looks towards Hex, and then Oscar.. she then raises an eyebrow at Maia. ::

"Because I am the head of the family.. I am the oldest, dearest brother."

Hex: "Well, if you havent noticed, you drove Josie away.. She doesnt have anything to do with the family now.." :: He rolled his eyes. He then gripped Maia's hand, and looked at her. ::

Hallie: "We want a family meeting... we want Maia's family to be here also.. just so we know who's who.. We SHALL be at the wedding.."

:: She walked closer to Maia. ::

"Mila told me what Hex had done.. I suppose if you family has decided to give your wedding the go ahead then so can ours."

Vex

"I actually never had a problem with it.. I'd actually like to be there right at the front of the ceremony.. And maybe we could kill some innocents after and then I could preform.. it'd be great."

:: Charlotte was over excited, she always loved Hex.. even took a smiliar name to him to show how close they were. She loved her nickname. ::

"I can preform right?" :: She looked at Maia. ::
 
Maia

:: When Hex told her They were coming, she automatically knew he meant his brother and sisters. She braced herself for their arrival, not really knowing how they'd react to her, especially with that incident with her and Hallie, Hex's sister. As Oscar made his entrance, she noticed how much he looked like Hex, and grinned a bit as he gestured to her engagement ring that she was so fond of. She smiled, not really knowing what to say to him.... ::

Two more to go...

:: Her eyes narrowed to the opposite side of her, where she saw Vex make her entrance into the club. She nodded her head, noticing how beautiful she was, wondering if she would consider being a siren. As Vex shook her hand, she grinned ::

"That's me... The one and only."

:: After Vex asked her about performing, she chuckled nodding ::

"Of course... "

:: Breaking away from their handshake, she felt a sharp pain in her back, knowing Hallie would soon be making her entrance. Once she did, she rolled her eyes slightly. She never really did like her, even IF she was Hex's sister, she would never even consider the two as friends. Maia knew Hallie would be the one who liked to get straight to business, already bringing up the wedding and having a family meeting. She turned to Hex, who was holding her close ::

Hex: "I'll summon Mila..."


Mila

:: A bitter cold wind blows through the area and the form of Mila emerges from the ground, partically transparent as a pink light beamed from where she entered. She of course, was dressed in a satin pink gown. She raised an eyebrow as she shot her gaze at Hallie. Her lips creeped into a half smile/half grin before tucking a piece of loose hair behind her ear ::

"You rang?..."

:: She chuckled softly as she casually covered half her mouth with her hand ::

Maia

"Summon mother, Mila..."

Ji Lai

"Enough! I am here...."

:: The ancient Empress of China made her entrance, wearing a long black velvet dress, moderned up style from what the royalty wore back when she was a girl. It was made of the most valuable silk in the Land. In her hands, she held a platnium staff where a huge orb made of pure purple diamonds rested on top. Her eyes wandered the room, as she observed every single demon in the room. She nodded to Mila, her closest daughter, then stopped at Maia and Hex. With a raised eyebrow, she walked over to the two, as the train of her dress followed. She slowly pulled her oldest daughter into a tight hug and rested her right hand on Maia's cheek ::

"Maia... It has been too long."

:: She shot her eyes at Hex then at his brother and sisters then back to Hex ::

"You..."

:: She looked back at Maia ::

"This is the man you desire to become your husband?"
 
>> as Christmas where getting closer everyday Gwendolyn thought she would visit XS for the first time in a long time, she had been away a lot on fightings and teachings of black magic but now she was there. She passed through the doors of XS and went inside, she looked around seeing some new and some not so new, she where home - again. She saw people having disscussons, and she saw people talking a while and so... It was there she was for now <<

>> her emotions where a little mixed up, sure it was here she ws and she now babbled a lot for being one of her kind but still, the art of evil wherent so tempting as it was a few months ago. Everything had turned into a pattern and there where almoust no suprises to be with. And then she didnt see anyone that where free to chat so she made herself comferble in a sofa, waving that she wanted a drink in wait for someone to come and talk to her <<
 
Hex

"Of course I plan to marry your daughter, Maia is the perfect woman for me.."

:: He smiled... he hoped that Maia's mother would take kindly to his good will of marrying her daughter... however the fact that they were evil meant a lot of people were against the idea. ::

"I presume you don't mind... or do you?"

:: He put his hand in his pocket, crossing his fingers. ::

Charlotte

"Thanks hun, that means a lot to me.. I'll write a song ASAP."

:: She winked at the siren and then looked at Maia's mother.. ::

"I hope your not saying that Hex is not WORTH marrying into your family..."

:: Her eyes flashed violet and then crimson red... and then finally blood red.. she looked sweet but she packed a nasty punch, she was the one person in the family you had to be careful of.. her emotions for her family were strong, making whoever come between them prone to Vex's powers. ::

"Well?"

Oscar

"Lets just calm down, shall we.."

:: Oscar was always the one that tried to bring a little of stabilty to the family.. not that it ever worked, he had good leadership qualities but was always put down by Hallie, the ultimate boss... she didnt listen to anyone. ::

"I think that we should hear out the lady first. ::

Hallie

"If your saying that MY family is not GOOD enough or EVIL enough for yours then your sadly mistaken.."

:: She raised an eyebrow... her aura turning pitch black. ::

"You should know that I am only young, but I have delevoped my powers a lot faster then normal."

:: She winked at the sirens mother.... playfully teasing, but if she answered wrongly things could turn sour.. ::
 
Maia

:: Smiling, she wrapped her arms around Hex and ran her left hand up his chest, rubbing it gently. As she stared at her mother, she leaned her head on Hex's shoulder... not really understanding why her mother asked her that question in the first place ::

"What is that supposed to mean, Mother?"

:: She gave her a stern look ::

Ji Lai

:: Quickly, she shot her eyes at Vex as pressed her lips together before turning to face her. Her eyes turned a dark purple color, that was of the same color as the prints on her gown. Not too long after, her orb started to glow imensely ::

Vex: "I wouldn't be putting words in my mouth if I were you..."

:: Her eyes faded in color as she looked at Oscar then Hallie ::

Hallie: "That may be so, young one, but you have not had experience, like I do. I suggest you think before you speak."

:: She paused ::

"I am only saying that I have not been able to get to know this boy... Hex."

:: She turned to Maia ::

"But I trust that my daughter knows what she is doing because we Sirens loathe love. Marriage for that matter..."
 
Hex

"I thank you, Ji Lai. For trusting your daughters love. We are going to make every effort to make this work."

:: He smiled at her holding Maia tightly. ::

Hallie

"I would prefer it if you spoke to me in a better tone, Miss.. I am much more then something you just STEPPED in."

:: She rolled her eyes, angry and pissed at Ji Lai. ::

"I Hope you and Hex are happy, Maia. But believe me when things don't work out, don't blame me or my family... We tried to warn you."

Oscar

"Don't take any notice of her, Hex... I know your gonna make this work.."

:: He smiled, patting his brother on the shoulder. ::

Maia: "When is the wedding? You arranged a date?"
 
>> a black whole comes in the counrer of the room and then a black female panther jumps out and Gwendolyn rises out of her chair holding her arms out and the black panther comes running into her arms and Gwendolyn feels a joy comming to her and then she smiles <<

"Rosie! How are you? When did you comé back from the Middlê East?

Rosie aka Rosmerta:

Oh... My owner I missed yo so much... Wait hold on... You've gone french! Well... I love you anyhow... Im glad to be back, I came back yesterday...
 
Maia

:: She smiled slightly at her mother for trusting her love for Hex, and but she if she knew her mother, she knew there still was something up with her. She bit her lower lip gently, leaning closer to Hex, embracing him as her eyes narrowed at Hallie, who seemed to be pissed at her mother ::

"Hallie... don't worry. This will work out. I love Hex, and there's no way our love will die... alright? So just calm down."

:: She turned her head to face Oscar ::

"... I want it ASAP. I can't stay engaged forever though... be we need a reply from Darkchile about the ceremony... And there is so much to plan."

It's a shame my best friend can't be here with me though...

Ji Lai

"... I really must return to my quarters at the Castle."

:: She took Maia in her arms and hugged her just before kissing her forehead ::

"Stay well, Mai Ly... I give you and Hex my blessings..."

:: The emperess glared at Hallie slightly before she turned and dissipitated into black smoke. Piercing screams can be heard echoing throughout the club before she was gone::

This isn't over, Mutant...
 
Hallie

:: Hallie simply walked up to Maia, they were close... Hex stood in the way, but was pushed back by the powerful blonde. She shook her head, and once again Hex stood in her way. ::

"Maia, You hurt my brother and you will ***.. *****. I know what Sirens are like."

:: With that she was encased in an aura and disappeared. ::

Oscar

:: Oscar nodded at Maia. ::

"Just be sure to come tell me when you have arranged it all.."

:: He followed his big sister and was gone in a blinding flash of blood red colors. His voice lingered as he went. ::

Hex

:: Hex stood next to Maia, but moved closer to Charlotte. Hugging his little sister, he smiled. ::

"You be sure to visit, i miss you."

:: He placed his hand on her shoulder. ::

Vex

"And I miss you, Brother."

:: She hugged him back, and walked closer towards Maia. ::

"I guess you have all our blessings too."

:: She turned to face Hex once again. ::

"And now you know just how much Hallie cares for you too. She's like you mother."

Hex: "I know.. And it pains me to see her so angry all the time.."

Vex

"For now, Goodbye.."

:: She then vanished in lilac and viloet streaks. ::
 
Maia

:: Her eyes narrowed over at Hallie as she spoke to her. Her eyes grew a faint grey color as she watched the Mutant disappear. Her eyes started to get fiery with rage, but she held it back. For Hex's sake... She couldn't. She wouldn't. Clenching her fists, she shook her head just before she took her arms and folded them over her chest. She couldn't take it anymore. She walked past the bar, grabbing a bottle of black vodka from the bartender. As she reached the couches, she threw it at the wall, before collapsing on the couch, holding back her tears ::

You know what... I should just call this whole thing off.

:: She buried her face in her hands, frustrated ::

"Damnit..."
 
:: Hex felt what Maia was feeling, his telepathy tapped into her thoughts, and he was worried what was going to happen next. He was scared for them. ::

"Don't think like that Maia.. we can get through this.."

:: He ran up to her, putting his arm around her..... he was hurting too but he refused to let it get to him. He just kissed her cheek. ::

"Just think, we can get through this. I KNOW we can, negative thoughts are just not an option."

:: The thought of loosing Maia because of his family made his hair stand up on end. He had to think, he had to make things right between them again. ::

"Maia.."
 
:: Maia was completely loosing it... It was very rare of her... But she was in this same position when she was upset about her best friend, Sydney and Hex being together once upon a time and she also remembered Alessandra, the Original Siren trying to comfort her from feeling that way about them. She remembered he was the first man she wanted to have a serious relationship with... Hearing him approach her, she bit her lower lip. Sometimes she thought she didn't deserve him, and at other times, she thought, he could do so much better than her. Leaning her head on his chest, she blinked twice, nodding slightly. She didn't want to move. Maia just wanted to stay in this position forever... ::

"Hex... Do me a favor, will you? Just... "

:: She bit her lip again ::

"...don't leave me, ok? I'm getting cold feet, that's all. You're not having cold feet are you?"

:: She paused ::

"And if I know my mother, she doesn't support our relationship - fully. She had that look in her eyes, that only Mila and I could recognize."

:: The Siren took her hands away from her face, looking up Hex with her beautiful chestnut brown eyes and leaned forward kissing him softly. As she pulled away, she flashed him a warm smile ::

"Your right - I gotta stop thinking negatively... But you know what would make me feel much better?"

:: She shot her eyes quickly at the DJ. With a quick nod at him, he nodded back with a grin. Maia saw him flip a few switches and open a small file, pulling out a record. As soon as he placed it on the record player, "I Turn To You" by Melanie C started beating loudly from the Club speakers. A sleek grin creeped across her face as she narrowed her eyes at her fiancee ::

"Baby, I know you don't like dancing, but if you're gonna marry me, you gotta at least try. For me... "

:: With a wink, she quickly stood up adjusting her low cut, plunging black Chanel dress, and spun around, taking his hands ::
