The parthenon

<< Spellbinder was tense. Delilah spoke words of truth and fairness with regards to Persephone. The look of indignation on Morgan's face, at the thought of Nicolas jeopardizing his freedom and his life for Persephone, began to soften as Delilah's words of reasoning and logic couldnt be disputed.>>

well....i....

<< she said in an icy tone before Athena admonished them all to let her speak. as the goddess began to speak, it seemed that she would show favor to Alison's request in someway, this made Morgan feel a slight sense of relief but it was all too brief as Bupol began to cry and flutter, showing signs of distress. Morgan's eyes fixed on the owl as Athena herself seemed to communicate with it telepathically as she tried to calm it. the goddess' golden eyes widened with displeasure and BETRAYAL even as she looked up to the heavens, the skies now churning with black clouds and thunder. Athena exclaimed that "she" [persephone] had done it AGAIN!>>

Persephone...

<< Morgan rolled her eyes. Athena was now JUSTIFIED in her unwavering position on the "renegade goddess". and as she bellowed with indignation, morgan cried out in defiance.>>

you can't DAMN US for something SHE has done! We're not of this timeline and we WONT be held hostage for someone ELSE'S ACTIONS BY YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!

<< this was the Spellbinder that Delilah and Alison would remember, the woman with an INDOMITABLE will! but her own yelling was drowned out by the abrupt lashing out of Athena as she blasted them ALL, sending them sprawling across the sleek marble floors and warning them that if they continued to stand with persephone NOW inspite of all that she'd done..then THEY would FALL with her as well!>>

<< Morgan's hair blew back as she was bowled over by the blast and landed on her side before sliding back. it didndt HURT so much as it knocked the wind out of her and left her a little stunned. Athena and Bupol were gone and Morgan turned to Alison and Nicolas first...as she struggled to get up.>>

we're about to get into the fight of our LIVES. one which we MIGHT LOSE and ALL OF THIS is because of HER!

she's shown NO interest in helping, NO interest or even the SLIGHTEST hint of remorse for the PAIN and DAMAGE she has caused both in this AND our timeline and yet we're supposed to continue to race head long toward our own DOOM?

The Parthenon

:: Alison nodded slowly as Athena had stated she won FAVOR with the goddess...but it was all over for even as Bupol began to shriek and show signs of agitation, Alison "saw" a most VIOLENT and BLOODY scene unfolding....Persephone acting like a demonic SAVAGE as she ended Hades' life in a way that would make even Morgan's violence seem TAME::

:: ALL OF THIS even while they were trying to buy time for Persephone's freedom and life, not to mention their OWN, since Athena had marked THEM for Persephone's fate if they chose to remain with her.::

:: Athena became enraged as Hades' death was no doubt felt by ALL of the Olympians now and condemned the Six. Morgan screamed back in defience, it was just what Alison would have expected from the willfull sorceress in a situation like this. As Bupol flies away, Athena blasted them away from her as she left them with one final warning before declaring WAR on Persephone. .::

:: Alison flew across the floor as well, slowly she raised herself up and coughed a bit, Nicolas roared with annoyance and the Parthenon trembled. Morgan too expressed her disbelief and anger with Persephone.::

We have no choice, there are no options. We're going to have to fight them...if for no other reason than to protect OURSELVES.

:: Alison wasnt even sure she could or SHOULD trust Persephone at this point.::

The outcome of this remains disjointed. there are TOO MANY variant outcomes that could become reality for us but any hope that we had with Athena before has been destroyed by Persephone's most recent actions. Even now, the EARTH itself is poised to be overwhelmed by a backlash of forces unleashed from the underworld.

The Parthenon, Arena Floor

Rampage walked over to his team as Morgan and Alison spoke about what had occurred. Alison confirmed that they were now DEFINITELY targets of the Olympians.

We might want to quickly return to the Underworld then. Right now we are sitting ducks, unless there is another suggestion.

[ Delilah too was blown back by the olympian force winds hurled at them by the enraged goddess. She gingerly got to her feet, making sure nothing was broken. Nicolas and Morgan were PISSED, and Alison wasn't far behind it seemed. She herself felt like banging her head against the wall. She looked at Haleigh. ]

"Is this self-destructive thing a family genetic trait?"

[ But she caught her breath and began to evaluate the situation. ]

"Maybe this had to happen. Who knows what would happen if history was changed and Hades allowed to live. Maybe it's better this way...though it's hard to think what could be worse..."

Rampage said:
We might want to quickly return to the Underworld then. Right now we are sitting ducks, unless there is another suggestion.

[ Delilah pursed her lips in thought, her brow furrowed. She looked at the others. ]

"No. If we give them time to regroup and process exactly what has happened we are all dead. We take them now, while they are in confusion. And god help us."

The Parthenon

<< lifting her hands, a chime sounds off as a sparkling trial flows from her uplifted hands and swirls down around her statuesque form. a crash signfies her garb transforming into her current costume, the "inferno" costume that she wore when she reigned terror down on NYC.>>

i agree with Delilah. We can't wait. we have to go now...but we need Hecate's help! I KNOW she would want to be here for this.

<< she looks up to the skies.>>

Hecate, goddess of the moon and witchcraft, hear your daughter's cry for help and come to me!

<< Morgan looks up and closes her eyes as she continues to send a distress call to Hecate.>>

at the moment...the underworld

[ as Persephone had finished annihilating Hades and the underworld began to TREMBLE from the shock and terror of its master's death, a shadow did cast over Persephone in her chambers even before she slipped away. Hecate had witnessed the murder, cloaked from Persephone with magick, the powerfull crone witnessed the gruesome murder of the one man she ever loved.]

[ when Persephone left, Hecate appeared in full view...standing in the bloodied room with the broken, headless, castrated body. her face betrayed a cold, dark countenance as her own violet eyes looked down and around.]

Hades....the one man i ever loved, the one man who i allowed to capture my heart and yet when the chips were down, you prooved to be weak as water as you submitted to your brother's cruel machinations and took Persephone as your bride. You turned your back and acted as though i meant NOTHING to you. For this...i NEVER forgave you but as long as i hated you....it provided a perverse sort of comfort...preventing me from remembering the LOVE we once had and now...you're DEAD at HER HANDS!

[ Hectate allowd her hand to run through some of the blood on the bed. She looked upon the severed head. ]

Nothing i can say or do now will change this. NOR was i meant to interfere...still, I cannot help but feel that Persephone has once again blighted my path without ANY thought to my feelings. It's as if I am an AFTERTHOUGHT to everyone, no matter how much i have done for them.

[ the goddess' heart did beat with such bitterness, even as she "saw" Athena sounding the alarm and calling the Olympians to the main Pantheon of Olympus. Hecate would endure one last slap in the face before SHE TOO let loose with her own wrath, it would be like the blue print for the night Morgan snapped and ignited the fire of Inferno.]

The Olympians will kill Persephone, just as the Harbinger predicted.

[ Hecate's dress changed, now wearing one similar to that of Circe's in the six's present timeline except this one was all black. it's plunging V neck revealed ample cleavage and the high split on the side of the skirt gave a teasing, pleasing view of beautifull, toned legs. she lifted her hands as glowing dark halos of magick formed around them.]

I can no longer avoid what is coming. But if i am to be treated so badly for doing what i must, i will make SURE that more than one person regrets it...for this night and many MORE TO COME!

[ a heartfelt promise and the first indication of the coming dawn of the red moon.]

goodbye Hades. your shade will come to grace the realm you once ruled but you will not be ALONE for long.

[ the witch goddess looks up, hearing a faint melody of chimes in the air. MORGAN was calling for her aid. ]

my daughter calls for me. I already know what has happened, and yet this is all WRONG somehow. as out of control and beyond hope this situation is...it is not supposed to be QUITE like this!

[with that, Hecate "moves", transporting from where she was, and appearing RIGHT INFRONT of Persephone, who by now was refreshed from bathing away the blood and violence of the recent act. Starring at her with cold , unforgiving eyes.]

your friends are in danger. their attempts to SAVE YOU have marked THEM for death. you should go to your friends and stand WITH THEM in this, their darkest hour while I embrace my own destiny.

[ with that, Persephone is teleported with Hecate to the Parthenon, where the rest of the six. Persephone can see the extreme anger in Morgan and Alison's eyes, not to mention Nicolas. Hecate stands there, offering no expression. ]

Spellbinder, I've heard your call and I am here to aid you in your time of need.

Haleigh eyed the decor of the parthenon. It was a truly beautiful place, and though she'd seen it in HER time, it had been but a shadow of its former self. Now, in all its splendor, it was hard to imagine a place like this ever losing its grace. Nicolas stood up to Athena, despite her attempts to discourage him. Alison lobbied for a chance for them all to be tested together, and Haleigh heartily agreed. Morgan was clearly agitated with the whole idea... and Haleigh prepared a defense on Persephone's behalf [even though she had very little to work with]. But before she could cut in, Bupol screeched, and Athena took to a formidable rage. Hit with gale force winds, there was nothing left for the Six to do except pick themselves up again after Athena left, imparting a final condemnation upon the group. Haleigh's brow scrunched in frustration as she yelled after the goddess.

"THEN SO BE IT! DO YOU HEAR ME, ATHENA?? SO FUCKING BE IT!!"

She said, getting to her feet. Nicolas blows up in anger, and Delilah asks a slightly sarcastic question. Haleigh cannot help but smirk.

"HELL no.... she got THAT from her father. What I do, i'll have you know, is to the detriment of OTHERS, and to the BENEFIT of myself."

It was clear she was being playful... and allowing levity in a decidedly cumbersome situation. Persephone and Hecate appear. Haleigh can almost PREDICT what's coming, and steps in between Persephone and the rest of the group.

"I don't condone what she's done... but now is NOT the time for anger towards Persephone.... now, as Alison has suggested, we must fight TOGETHER. Maybe you forget... but I remember.... when Malice was about to meet her end... and Persephone dove in to take a hit for US.... even as we bickered and fought EACH OTHER. Delilah, Nicolas, Blaze and I would almost surely have ALL been terribly wounded, for we were SO wrapped up in our own problems that we couldn't have reacted in time. Maybe you all forgot... but I remember... I remember because we probably DIDN'T DESERVE it.... and worse, we were UNGRATEFUL. [taking a deep breath] We ALL have our flaws... but we all have our STRENGTHS too.... and it is our strengths that bring us together. We NEED to be together.... if we dont STAND TOGETHER.... We'll DIE ALONE. And THAT..... my friends.... that is the worst fate of all.... [with a hint of pensive sadness] Dr. Victoria helped me see that."

The Parthenon

<< Morgan shot daggers at Persepone with her icy violet eyes as she glared at the goddess. she was ready to scream and shout and berate her to no end, to HELL with her stoic ways, Morgan would do her the way she'd done Haleigh and Cameron whether she "paid attention" or not. This was ALL HER FAULT! If she had been forthcoming, if she had acted like she CARED at ANY MOMENT... and now, it seemed like Morgan and everyone else wouldnt even be AROUND much longer to worry about what was happening to Karen, Alycia and the world over in the Six's own timeline. Morgan wanted to cut Persephone down with "i suppose when youve had the benefit of being able to live in 4 different timelines, the destruction of one timeline doesnt have as much meaning to you." >>

<< how could Darkchilde or Hecate have cared for her? She left everyone she delt with holding the short end of the stick.>>

<< Haleigh stepped forward and was SURPRISINGLY the voice of reason! Morgan still maintained an agitated stance as she exhaled loudly and turned her back.>>

<< in an icy voice>>

If I'm going to die, I'd prefer not to waste my time assessing blame or looking for accountability...especially when the person in question probably feels this is all beyond her control and that she is above reproach.

<< Morgan didnt care if Persephone responded or not. she'd HAD it with being spun around in this demented spin cycle of disaster that was Persephone's timeline when HER OWN loved ones were in danger and by now she was TIRED of being held at the mercy of beings most of whom she felt were now BENEATH her contempt! to HELL with the gods and goddesses of greek antiquity. NO WONDER they didnt remain relevant for much longer after the dawn of the red moon.>>

I'm ready to go and bust heads.

:: it would have been easy for Alison to give in and say what she felt toward Persephone.::

you were BETTER OFF as a STONE STATUE in Ororo's garden. at least THEN you were usefull for something...DECORATION.

:: but it was the frustration that was peaking in her. they were ALL at their wits end with this whole situation, this timeline and these beings. Haleigh stepped forward and offered a valid defense for Persephone. Not just as her sister, but as someone with a surprisngly clear and objective point of view on a grim situation. Persephone, in her first major outing with the Six had made a bold and brave sacrifice to save several of the team from one last deadly strike from Malice. But even INSPITE of that, Persephone spent more time trying to be aloof and "set apart" from the team, as if her status as "goddess" seemed to elevate her ABOVE them and that she had the RIGHT to be so secretive with them.::

:: Morgan of course was in no mood to be charitable. it was a wonder she didnt attack Persephone outright and Alison couldnt help but wonder what was in HECATE's mind right now. Hades had been brutally murdered and it seemed that they NEVER had the chance to resolve whatever may have lingered between them.::

Haleigh, is right....at least in the short term and pratical sense. If they WERE to somehow survive, there would plenty of time to confront Persephone and hold her accountable for her actions and how they placed us ALL in peril. For NOW....

:: Morgan said it best.::

it's time to show these Olympians we are NOT helpless, defenseless mortals that they hold sway over.

:: Finally clean from the blood that stained her skin, Persephone was now dressed in a black asymmetrical gown with gold decorative stitching along the edges. Fitting perfectly against her body, the gown flowed beautiful to the floor with two thigh high slits. With her gold snake cuff on her upper arm and two golden rings, Persephone definitely didn't look like a woman who had just slaughtered her husband. ::

:: Running her fingers through her long wet hair, the it was already beginning to curl as it dried. Wet hair or not, she still looked beautiful. Blue eyes lifting quickly, Hecate appeared in front of her looking extremely upset. She had found Hades' body. ::

"Hecate–"

:: Stopping, there was no point apologizing. She, yet again, hurt Hecate unintentionally. Perhaps this destructive, selfish pattern was unavoidable in her life. Time thread after time thread she would do something to benefit herself and hurt someone else. Even her closest friends whom she would die for. And where the six were concerned, she was nothing more than a body that helped them fight foes. No ties, no connections. No friendships. It didn't really hit her until that moment that she was no better than Circe. Maybe it was Ava's conscious factoring in, but whatever it was, it made Persephone second guess herself. ::

:: Moments later, both Persephone and Hecate appeared in the Parthenon, feet away from three very pissed off people burning holes right through her. With her eyes narrowed in almost the same fashion, Persephone crossed her arms, noting Haleigh immediately jumping between herself and Alison, Morgan, and Nicolas. She began to defend her...a little surprising to say the least. But it was apparent that neither Morgan, nor Alison, wanted to listen. Ha, what she wouldn't give to have Nicolas' mind reading powers right about now. ::

:: Morgan turned her back and spoke coldly to her. Alison chimed in and agreed that they all needed to attack the Gods now. Shifting her eyes to Nicolas, Persephone shook her head and looked away. Reaching to her dagger holsters on either thigh, Persephone withdrew the medallion that Barbara gave her that brought the six here. The medallion was very powerful, and Persephone only hoped that Minerva's words would ring true at this moment. ::

"Why don't I just throw myself to the wolves."

:: Her tone even and cold, she tossed the medallion on the ground by the six's feet. Instantly a dense green tornado-like funnel formed around just the six, encasing them in the eye. The medallion (protected by magick as well) was growing a brilliant green, creating a dampening field against the six's powers to keep them from leaving the tornado prison. This would at least give Persephone a small time frame to confront Athena before the medallion lost it's power. Turning to Hecate knowing she wanted to free them, the loud winds made it nearly impossible for them, or the six, to hear. ::

"Don't! The Gods wants me dead, not THEM!"

:: Taking Hecate's hand, they both disappeared in a tornado of winds, leaving the six imprisoned at the Parthenon. ::

The Parthenon, Arena Floor

As the goddesses appeared before them, Nicolas stare wore a hole through Persephone. He was at his wits end with her inability to become a part of them, to accept that they were no less than she. he said nothing, waiting for better moment than this when Haleigh INTERCEDED on her behalf. It was an impassioned plea, one that did manage to move him a bit as he realized that this was what she was pre-destined to do here. No more, no less.

He locked eyes with Persephone when she shook her head and threw down the medallion at their feet. A whirlwind appeared that seemed unbreakable to them as he realized what Persephone was about to do.

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Dammit, she has no concept of accepting help, being part of a group. Even now. Morgan, this THING is slowing my powers, but you and Alison, it cannot sever your hold on your magicks. If you give me an opening, we WILL be free of this.

Nicolas tried to reach out a much as he could, but it was like there was a fog in his head, shorting him out somewhat. If he could only get a clear though, he had an idea.

[ Now Delilah was annoyed. The winds raged around her in their prison of Persephone's making. ]

"She can't go up against them all alone! She'll be killed for sure...how could Hecate leave us here like this?!"

[ She tried to fight her way through the swirling winds but only succeeded in being thrown back into the center of the vortex. ]

"Morgan - can you get us out of here via stepping disc?"

Mt. Olympus

[ Hecate was not expecting to see Persephone in an outfit similar to her own for the impending battle. perhaps they were more in synch than she suspected? the renegade goddess showed herself to be in a somber mood as they appeared before the Six. She did not fight back against the harshness of Morgan or Alison and showed little reaction to Haleigh's intervening on her behalf.]

[Hecate herself was not as attentive as she should have been. Persephone impulsively trapped the six in a vortex of mystical power generated by the medallion she'd been given by Barbara Minerva. Though Hecate COULD have released the team from this temporary binding, Persephone implored her to instead accompany her WITHOUT them to Olympus. it was foolish, but Persephone was determine to try to stand in the gap for the Six and Hecate offered no resistance to her mad plan...FOR NOW.]

[ the arrived on Olympus, in the patheon. the skies around the labryinth were swirling and churning with the anger of zeus. the foundation of Olympus itself seemed to be trembling and Hecate's hair bagan to blow in the wind as she looked at Persephone.]

you know that this isn't the way it's supposed to be. offering yourself as a sacrificial lamb is NOT the way to build a bridge between yourself and your team...THEY should be with you now and it will take MORE than that vortext to stop Spellbinder and the Harbinger from from breaking free. You should allow them to STAND WITH YOU. You know that you'll have PLENTY of time to reconcile your differences later....for your ultimate battle is not HERE..it is back in the Six's timeline.

[ Hecate's tone was cold, there was no sense of urgency.]

But I, on the other hand, have come here to embrace my destiny. my time on Olympus has come to an end and I intend to make SURE that the olympians face me head on.

[Hecate knew that Spellbinder and Alison would soon bust the Six loose and join them on Olympus and that is why she did not push harder to release them instead of traveling with persephone as she did. for now, facing the gods/goddesses as they came to pass final judgment on Persephone and offer one final "slap" to Hecate's face was the most pressing thing.]

The parthenon

<< Spellbinder's icy violet eyes widened with objection was Persephone threw the medallion down and unleashed the vortex of magick. her hair began to blow back as she lifted her hand in protest. Persephone abruptly decided to face the gods alone. even with Hecate by her side, she would not survive.>>

CURSE HER! it's almost like she wants to be a martyr to make US feel guilty.

<< it may not have been that, but Morgan was hardly "trusting" of Persephone at this point and THAT was also a bother to her. Hecate and Darkchilde had enjoyed seemingly strong bonds with her and if she was destined to be close to the dark trinity, then how come THEY hadn't been able to sew the seeds for a strong, healthy friendship? this , as with many OTHER "personal" issues that Morgan [ or anyone else] had with Persephone would have to WAIT for when/IF there was a better, more appropriate time.>>

<< touching her hand to the vortex, a sparkling feedback could be seen as Morgan's hand was repelled. looking at Rampage and MorningStar as they asked if she could get them out.>>

Alison and I can do it together...

<< the two women had plenty of experience combining their powers and performing tag team maneuvers. so she waited for Alison to do her part first.

The Parthenon.

:: Guardian didnt vocally protest as Persephone attempted to trap them in the mystical vortex. a look from hecate before they left told her what she and Morgan needed to do. both women possesed the powers needed to escape the vortex. Morgan knew it too and so Alison did not try to struggle with it as Rampage and MorningStar did.::

:: at Morgan's cue, Alison thrusts her hands out ala' Piper Halliwell, a sound is heard as she locks on to the temporal field around the vortex and begins to SLOW IT DOWN. the vortex itself begins to shimmer and fluxuate as it tries to maintain its strength but Alison continues to exert her power over it , slowing it down. "slices" or "windows" of escape can now be seen and as the vortex slows down considerably, Alison turns to Morgan.::

your turn.

the parthenon

<< a chime sounds off as Morgan's SOUL SWORD leaps into the grasp of her hand. the sword is surrounded by silver mystic flames and it is the most deadly magickal talisman in active use on Earth in the six's timeline as neither magickal beings OR enchantments can withstand its touch.>>

<< Morgan grips the sword with both hands and points it out and forward. at her mental command the sword releases her power in one blinding, flash of light and the vortex , now weakened and hindered by Alison is SHATTERED. it blasts apart in so many directions and the mystical binding around the team is dispelled.>>

<< Morgan's right hand, arm and shoulder are covered in mystical armour now as she grips the sword.>>

I'm keeping the sword with me. i may need it to help fight the gods/goddesses on Olympus.

<< with that, Morgan summons a stepping disc and in the twinkling of an eye, she and her companions are teleported from the parthenon to mt. olympus. but will they reach persephone in TIME???>>

:: Appearing on Mount Olympus, Hecate voiced her objections to Persephone trapping the six. Persephone simply shook her head as she lifted her eyes to the sky. Zeus was pissed, rightly so. ::

"I do not intend to be a sacrafical lamb. But if I die tonight, then so be it."

:: Finally turning to look at Hecate, Persephone gestured to her side, as if the six were standing there. ::

"I've made mistakes in my life that have hurt others, including yourself. And as much as I dislike the majority of the people in the six, they don't deserve to die because of my mistakes, in a timeline that is not their own. I'm not trying to bridge a gap between myself and them by doing this. Quit frankly, i'm sure they'd all rather see me dead than face another day associating with me. I'm doing this because this is my mess."

:: Looking to the gates of Mount Olympus, Persephone began to walk forward, knowing very well that by crossing those gates, she was signing her life away. But hell, it was a long, and damn good life. ::

--

:: Moments later, the 40 foot double doors leading into the main chamber room, where they met with the gods perviously, blew open violently. Walking through the threshold, Persephone smiled to both Athena and Zeus who looked utterly ticked off. ::

"How incredibly rude of me. But then again, i've never really been the polite type."

Olympus

[ at this point, the goddess of witchcraft was exasperated with her friend's seemingly ENDLESS stoic presentation.]

don't you understand ANYTHING? what you're doing will avail neither YOU nor your team mates ANYTHING. you need to LEARN from what youve seen and experienced before its TOO LATE. THAT IS WHY YOU CAME BACK....

[ Hecate bellowed as Persephone blew the double doors open- she did not get the chance to impress upon Persephone that there was a deeper reason for her being here AGAIN and it was not about her further alienating herself from the Six, as Persephone seemed to believe at this point. Zeus and Athena were the first in attendance. Hecate locked eyes with Athena and then Zeus as Persephone provoked them yet again. She remained silent as the initial standoff began. She remained posed and silent.]

Olympus

:: Athena's golden eyes met with Persephone's as Bupol became a little agitated. Athena hushed her feathered companion as she continued to glare at the arrogant , murdering, renegade goddess. Even now, she was antagonistic and poked her finger in thier "eye" with seemingly NO CARE of the consequences about to come her way.::

insolent, murdering wench. your wanton violence and depraved acts have earned you a fate you MORE than richly deserve.

:: she paused , looking at Hecate.::

Stand aside, Hecate. This does not concern you. Your value, your contributions to Olympus are well known and your position and place here should not be jeopardized because of HER

:: pointing with contempt at Persephone::

her companions appealed to me in the Parthenon. Their Harbinger and their Warrior, Nicolas had appealed to me in a way that only a wise and truly just individual could...but in the end, she [persephone] herself prooved unworthy of THEIR loyalty as well as any possible favor or mercy from those of us on Mt. Olympus who have long grown tired of her treachery.

There is NO justification for her actions, no reason, NO worthy explanation. She is a CANCER that must be erradicated for the benefit of ALL whose paths have been blighted by her.

:: thunder rumbles in the air.::

you, persephone are an unmitigated FOOL and you will purged of the folly of your existence. the ONLY noble thing you have done to date is to spare your friends...most of whom now see you for the heartless, dishonorable creature that you are...the fate which YOU richly deserve by not bringing them.

:: looking to Hecate again.::

Please, Hecate, move away from her. You need not be bothered with her any longer.

Olympus!!

Nicolas watches silently as Alison and Morgan combine to attack the vortex. Alison's temporal freezing combined with Morgan's sword do the trick, and the lovely blond gets a gleaming gauntlet to cover her arm.

Nicolas swiftly pulls his own weapon as Morgan teleports the team to Olympus. The time for talking had long past as Nicolas could hear the thoughts of the Olympians in their bloodlust. They were even worse than the myths made them out to be, and he had an epiphany, simply realizing that none of the Olympians had a right to be so high-handed. His anger rising, he steps forward as he sees Athena engage Persephone verbally,

That is where you are wrong, Olympian. Whatever Persephone is, she is OURS and your group has no moral ground upon which to pass judgement. We have come for Persephone, and she will leave with us. No harm shall befall her or any of this group. This is your only warning. Step aside and we will be on our way.

RAMPAGE stepped forward to stand with Persephone and Hecate...
