"That's entirely possible, but why would Sati's whatever it is step out of the mirror? I mean she's gone and the rest of us are here, maybe the reason the "it" isn't attacking is because it was to specifically attack Sati, if she was here. They could be lost souls but why do they continue to say the same thing over and over? Also are we going to smash Sati's mirror, and get on with this journey? I mean this chamber has been taking a while."

:: Euthalia said sounding a bit annoyed with the last sentence, staring at the thing that stepped out. She tapped her foot, waiting for the rest of the group to follow Rama's suit and smash their mirrors. So they could continue as soon as possible. ::

Hidden inner doors swing open after the last of the enemy mirrors is smashed. A blue light streams forth from the next chamber and almost hypnotically everyone is drawn to the next room. "Sati" makes no effort to follow the group and remains where she stands.

Again they find themselves within a room that is ringed with mirrors. Each seems to be showing some great natural or man made disaster. One scene is the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, another appears to be a great flash of light followed by the forming of a huge mushroom shaped cloud. A third shows the sinking of the domed city. Only one mirror is found that shows no disaster. It reflects a clearing in a forest, with the sun shining brightly.

In the center of the room stand three mirrors joined at the edges and beside them stand another of the ghostly guides. She smiles as she addresses the group.

"Welcome Travellers, to the Hall of Eons. You have earned the right to enter the True Center of the Hall. Here within this altar you may learn of the past, present and future."
She gestures to the mirrors, the one she has addressed as past, is a stone framed mirror and shows scenes from their adventure, starting with their summons to Ikaris' lair. The mirror of the present is metallic framed and only reflects the travellers themselves. The future mirror is framed with wood and seems to be showing some sort of marketplace or bazaar with strange peoples walking about, some of which are recognized as the faerie folk others are simply too strange to be identifiable. The mirror of the past is showing their trek across the desert and seems to be set shortly before the loss of Sati.

*She turns her head as she hears creaking, watching new doors open up. Almost automatically, Amy begins to walk towards them, into the room as she looks around at all the mirrors. She watches the mushroom one, inwardly knowing what it would be about. She stared at the other mirros before turning her attention to the welcomer, listening to her speak. She gazed into the past and present mirrors, reliving their hardships and times getting to where they were, and then looked into the future mirror, watching it.*

"Is it just me, or do the rest of you see a "Sati" motif going on here. What if this is like a 'city of the dead' type thing?"

:: Euthalia kept her eyes on the sinking of the city. She watched intensely and then followed the others into the chamber. First she gazed into the future mirror, then the past mirror and lastly the present mirror. ::

"Ok whats with the market? I mean is that where we end up or something?"

:: she asked curiously, and nodded to Amy's comment about the Sati Motif thing going on. ::

"We're the only living people here, or so I think."

:: Euthalia said the last part in a catious manner. ::

:: After entering the castle, Maia raises an eyebrow at the mirrors, and nods as she listens to Kurama. She let out a scream as she smashed her mirror with her sai, and ripped it out of the glass. She stepped over the pile of fine sand, and followed the group over to the Mirrors ::

"Sati..?"

:: The Siren looks into the Mirror of the Past, and sighs as she watches their journey through the desert, when Sati was still alive. Her eyes quickly glanced over to the group. She was curious what she would see in the Mirror of the Future. She walked over to it, waiting to see what was in store ::

:: Rama followed the others forgetting about Sati and seeing the mirrors. He was always facinated with magickal objects and these were just his style. He side-stepped the others and went directly to the Mirror of the Future. Kurama mumbled something audible enough for the others to here ::

"Alice through the looking glass"

:: After saying this Rama stepped foreward and pressed his body against the mirror. He figured this could be a portal and awaited the result ::

Rama smacks his nose up against the mirror, definately not succeeding in walking through it.

The scene in the Mirror of the Past, resolves its self into the attack of the Tiger. Wincing at the attack against Sati, it feels as if they are reliving it themselves. They can feel the terrible heat of the desert and can smell the musk of the tiger. Anger again fills them as they watch helplessly. Forced to watch the beast's claws tear into their friend. In their absorption in the scene, it is several moments before Toby realizes that he is repeatedly rubbing sand out of his eyes as it blows into them.

:: Sydney took Kurama'a advice and made her way to her mirror, barely just dodging the image of herself. She shattered her mirror with the butt of her Sai, and then stepped over the sand pile which used to be her double self.. Glancing at the group, she follows them.. Seeing Sati's image staying in place.. No moving, or bother to follow. ::

How odd of a place..

:: She sighed a bit, trying to figure the place out.. But didn't as her mind changed when she entered the other room with the group.. Watching the other mirros - Past, Present and Future. She saw Kurama try to enter the future, as it did not obviously work. She then turned, looking at the mirror showing the tiger.. And she watched, horrifed as the scene replayed itself.. What were they doing? ::

:: Kurama was a bit embarassed by his failed attempt to go through the mirror and then feels sand blowing next to him. ::

"Well it was a good idea you have to admit. But does anyone else feel sand on them? I think it could be coming from the Mirror of the Past."

"Perhaps the marketplace is a clue, where we need to get to in order to reach the castle, who knows."

*She smiled at Euthalia, looking around her to the rest of the group. She watched Rama get up close and personal with the mirror and slightly giggled, as her attention was brought again to the past mirror. She stared at the tiger, then closed her eyes as the musk blew through the room, intense heat starting to pile up on her. She opened her eyes, and looked down at her clothes, which were lightly covered in sand.*

"What the...I don't feel, I see, what in the world is going on?"

A flash of light from the outside chamber attracts their attention and in investigating they see that the mirror image of Sati now has the same wounds their friend had perished from.

:: Giggles slightly at Rama's failed attempt and fails to realise that sand has been blowing into his face for the past minute or so. Turning his back on the gust of sand he puts his hands over his eyes, they are stinging slightly. He attention then turns to the flash of light and he notices that the image of Sati in the mirror is now identically the same as the real Sati before she desintigrated. She now has the exact same wounds.... ::

To All: "Er...you guys, can you see what I see?"

*Noticing a flash of light out of the corner of her eye, she whips around, running back to the other room where she stops next to Toby. Her eyes went wide as she saw the fake Sati covered in wounds from the tiger attack.*

"Seeing it...yes. Believing it...not yet."

:: Euthalia covered her eyes. ::

"What the hell was that?"

:: She asked and turned around noticing, the Sati covered in tiger wounds. ::

"Ok how did that happen? I mean ghosts don't get sudden wounds."

:: Kurama was dumbfounded as he saw the copy Sati recieve the same wounds as it was showing the incidents from before ::

"I have no idea what to say"

:: Kurama put his hands to his head and then looked up and walked back into the previous area and stood in front of ghost Sati. He stared into her eyes ::

"Sati? Is there something you know?"

:: Kurama seeing no response went back to the group with a brow raised. He stared hard at the mirror of the past. He was thinking Sati was a key to this area ::

When they return to the Center of the Hall, Euthalia notices that there is a small pile of wind blown sand at the foot of the Mirror of the Past. It has the same texture and smell as did the sands of the Desert Realm. As she bends down to examine it more closely, her hand is chilled to the bone as it touches the giving surface of the Mirror causinga ripple to flow upwards from where her hand is.

The Guide reappears besides the group with a frantic expression on her face. "Do Not Touch the Mirror! It is Forbidden! You have no idea of the forces you are playing with!"

:: Rama sees the mirror quiver and knows what it might be and that he had the right idea all along but just with the wrong mirror. He is about to go to it when he stops coming to the idea of that maybe only things from the past can be in the past, as he was still living he never was in the past, unlike Sati who was there as a ghost. He walks up to the guide ::

"Care to enlighten us then on what forces these are?"

*Walking back into the center of the main hall, she watches Euthalia go off and explore the sands that were blown in from the Mirror of the Past. She suddenly sees ripples in the mirror, knowing that Euthalia has found something and runs over, grabbing Euthalia in case she got sucked in.*

"Guys! I think we found something!"

*Staring at the Guide, she raises an eyebrow, knowing that the ghost was probably giving an automatic warning, she couldn't resist talking to it.*

"Why is it forbidden?? What's it hiding, what forces are we screwing with!"

:: Euthalia walked over fascinated, with the small pile of sand that was appearing, she touched the mirror slowly, an icy feeling came over her as if it was monsoon season. She pulled back as Amy grabbed her shaking her hand and then she glared at the guide. ::

"Excuse me, but if we're tampering with forces the how come when my friend ran into the mirror, he simply bumped his head against the mirror?"

:: She said angrily, wondering if she dare enter the mirror, would it lead them back to the past? She thought. ::

:: Kurama's mind suddenly clicks and puts two and two together ::

"Guys step away, the past would be altered if a person were to go there and if we were to try and attempt to shatter it, it would erase us all from existence. So step away from it. I don't think anything alive can go into it. The future cant be reached just by want neither so thats why I could not step in. So back away from the Past"
