Rama can see what appears to be a large circular pool of water. The soft light that it is producing enables him to see a pathway that leads over a dune and down to a beach and the sea beyond it. Belasco's mountain is seen in the distance exactly as it appears on the horizon of the desert. Rama can feel a slight tugging on his astral form almost as if he is being drawn into the pool.

:: Kurama sees the pool and nods he then almost walks right in but not before he realizes he is only an astral and astrals back into his body. He looks to everyone ::

"I think we have found a shortcut to Belasco's mountain. If you will follow me, the blue light is radiating from a pool of water. My astral felt compelled to go in so I think we all should"

:: Kurama led the way back to the pool and with a nod to the back he jumps right on in ::

:: Euthalia watches as his astral form returns to his body, realizing he must've found something in that blue light, she listen to his finding and then followed his lead to the pool. She watches as he jumps in. First she grabs her dagger examining it for any possible poison left on it. ::

"I hope your right..."

:: She took a deep breath and jumped into the pool of water after Rama. ::

:: Looks confused at the pool ::

(Wierd....)

:: Follows Rama and Euthalia and jumps into the pool of blue light ::

(This better be a shortcut....)

:: Maia sighs, using her Telekenisis to retrieve her sais from the scorpion. A soft breath escaped her lips as she blew on her sais before slipping them back into her pack. Turning her hea, she saw Rama, Euth, and Jex jump into a pool of blue light. Upon hearing Kurama talking about water, she questioned the thought. What if it was a mirage..? What if his astral was just seeing things..? Anything could happen when the heat gets to your head. Her eyes glanced over at Sydney and Amy... she hesitated. What could she do, half the group was already in the pool, so she took a deep breathe and jumped in as well... wondering what they'd find at the other end ::

Rama better be right about this...

:: Sydney was happy about the fact that the scorpion was indeed dead.. But, when she watched Kurama's astral body.. She reamined silent, thinking.. And then, when Kurama was back in his body.. She listened to him.. But before she could say anything.. Half the group had already jumped in. Maybe moving so quick wasn't the best idea.. The heat played tricks on people's mind.. And who knew, that a demon hadn't planted that there to lure the group in. Syd was not sure aobut this pool.. Glancing about she had to go in.. She wouldn't get split up from the group. But they were a team, and needed to act like one.. And make these decesions together.. ::

This better not lead us into trouble..

:: Syd thought to herself, as she took a deep breathe and jumped in as well.. Wondering what indeed would happen when they reached the other end.. If anything.. ::

One by one, the party enters the pool of water until all have gone through it and the portal winks out of existance behind them. On the other side of it, they find themselves standing on a dune overlooking a beach and ocean. The water seemingly goes on for miles in every direction. They find themselves on a small island with only enough room that they can if they choose set up a small camp using driftwood to start a fire. The sun is slowly setting behind them and in the fading light, they can see a boat that has been beached. There is something odd about the boat but before they can investigate further, the sun finally sets....

:: Euthalia finally appeared at the dune. She felt as if it had taken hours. She looked around and saw water everywhere, a bit dissapointed that this had taken them to an island in the middle of nowhere, instead of the fortress of the sorcerer. She noticed a boat and was about to examine it closer, but then the sun set. ::

"Well hey atleast no more barren desert land and no more blazing sun."

:: She said optimistically and then continued. ::

"Did you guys see that boat? That has to mean someone or something else is here, and maybe their friendly. I mean you can only hope for the best, right? Should we go and try to see if we can find it or we could always check the boat."

:: Kurama looks around the area and nods and notices the boat. ::

"Well since the sun is now finally gone we can breath a sigh of relif but lets have anyone who can astral onto the boat, that way if it is a trap, only astrals will fall in and no damage will befall us. What do you guys think?"

:: Maia finds herself on the dune, and looks around at the endless seas surrounding them. Her eyes too catch the boat, as she rose one of her finely shaped eyebrows at the sight of it. She hesitated to find out why it was there ::

"Sounds good to me... who's willing to do that?"

:: She looks at the group ::

:: Euthalia smiles at both Kurama and Maia. ::

"It'll probably have to be one of you, I mean aren't you two the only ones who can astral?"

:: She questions, looking around to make sure the rest of the group is there and then turning her attention back to Maia and Rama. She covered her eyes in an effort to see if she could get a better view of the boat or anyone around them. ::

"Okay and yes we are. You up to it Maia? I know I am. Meet me on the deck"

:: Rama's head goes down as his astral appears and awaits the arrival of Maia's astral ::

:: Looking around it ends up she is on the middle of an island... She looks out into the distance and only sees water for miles ahead. Great. She then raises her eye brow as she sees the boat.. Maybe it was an abandoned ship.. Maybe someone else was sharing the island with them. She didn't know.. Keeping her mouth shut, she listened to the ideas.. And nodded, agreeing with them. ::

"I guess that could work.."

:: Just as she said that, Kurama was gone.. And she looked over to her best friend, Maia.. Waiting for her to send her astral body out, as well. ::

:: Maia shrugged slightly, thinking... What's there to loose. They've gone through so much today, she might as well. She smiled slightly at Sydney before she closed her eyes, and astral projected onto the deck of the abandoned ship, next to Rama's astral. Her real body fell unconsious, dropping to the floor. Her astral looked around, and started walking around the ship, keeping an open eye for any surprises.... ::

"Let's take a look around, shall we?"

:: She made sure she was close enough to Kurama ::

:: Astral Rama looks to Maia's astral and nods ::

"Yes lets. Lets stay together. Lets go down below and see if anything is there"

:: He waits til Maia is ready before heading in together with her ::

"Right behind ya..."

:: They both headed to the lower deck, still staying together ::

The astral entities examine the boat and find oars in the bottom of it. It isn't until they are about to abandon their search that Rama notices that the hull of the boat appears scorched as if by a great fire. Not enough damage to ruin the boat but enough to take note of. The boat is large enough that with some proper arranging, the entire party could fit inside it and appears to still be seaworthy.

:: Kurama sees the oars with Maia and heads back up. He sees the fire damage and points it out to Maia as well as that they might be able to use it to get to sea ::

"Well lets see what the others think, see you back with the group"

:: Rama's astral fades out in smokey rose petals and his body's real head goes up and looks at the group. He awaits Maia before begining ::

"Whoa... maybe that's why this big hunka junk is abandoned. Looks floatable though... ok. See ya."

:: Just after Rama's astral disappears, she closes her eyes, and bows her head down as her astral fades away as well. Her real body is alive again, and her eyes open, gleaming slightly. She looks up at Rama, and nods her head ::

:: Sydney noticed that both Maia and Rama are back in their normal bodies.. Eyeing them, searching them for an answer.. She awaits what they have to say about the boat.. With a quizzacle expression on her face.. She speaks. ::

"So, why did ya'll find out?"

:: She asked, curious of what they found on the boat, for that could help them in the long run.. Of how they were to escape this island, or who was sharing the island with them. ::
