Sometimes they come back!

Dominique was in trouble, and Nicolas asked for their help. Haleigh was about to give the immediate 'of course.' when Sharon stepped up and did it for her. Haleigh nodded in agreement, then smirked at the idea that her and Sharon had finally found SOMETHING they wouldn't argue about.

Well, I suppose even a broken watch is right twice a day.

"It must be so cold in hell tonight. Since the Sisterhood may not be aware of our intentions to help, I think we should tread carefully and not infringe on any boundaries without cause. The truce has been MUTUALLY beneficial and it wouldn't be wise to violate the terms of the arrangement. Delilah, if you don't mind, I suggest our initial arrival point to be OUTSIDE and a safe distance from the entry to the Hellfire Mansion. From THERE we can assess the situation and announce our presence politely."

They appeared in New York, for the first time since the Bishop incident. It was pouring down rain and thunder crashed almost continuously.

"Should've checked the weather first."

Haleigh deadpanned as the rain soaked them all through. The storm was the least of their worries. The Mansion was on fire and the whole area was a madhouse. There were people running out of the mansion as if they were being pursued, some screaming, some bleeding. It hit Haleigh like a wrecking ball, and she froze in place. She took a split second to hold herself together and then noticed something WORSE than her predatory instinct. She launched into proactive mode

"Someone let slip the dogs of war again. The T Virus is here and spreading. STOP EVERYONE. NO ONE LEAVES until they've been cleared. Ava, give us cover to do damage control. Cameron, calm the survivors and create a sense of order. Sharon and Nicolas, you take the point, Delilah and I have your backs. I'll point out the infected if it's not obvious. EVERYONE who's been contaminated gets TERMINATED. You all know the drill. Nicolas, start leading us toward your Aunt. We need to get to her before its too late."

Her stomach growled, and she clenched her teeth. She felt like a shark that had just happened upon a feeding frenzy. She ushers the others into action because it makes it easier to hide how shaken she is. She lets the other rescue the live ones, as she busies herself with destroying the zombies. With every one she defeats, she sees her own fate staring her in the face. The lifeless eyes, the bloodlust… all this time spent destroying these monsters, and she'd forgotten to make sure she didn't BECOME one.

They did have a debt to pay to Dominique, so that they would go to her aid was of no question. For a second Delilah wondered why Nicolas always acted as if they would leave him to do things by himself, but those thoughts gave way to more pressing issues. Even that she should make Sharon stay behind was lost in the shuffle. Delilah’s wormhole of blue light took them across the country to New York – to home.

Delilah couldn’t help it as they arrived near the Hellfire Club, she breathed deep of the city air. Rain was falling, exactly the way she loved it best. A long walk through the streets in the rain would have done Delilah a world of good – but, of course, they were in the middle of a disaster.

“Zombies…must be Tuesday.”

She commented somberly. She was really getting tired of the damn zombie emergencies. How much of the stuff was still out there? Jeeze Louise.

She made a small noise of disappointment in spite of herself as Ava made the rain stop.

Black Widow said:
”STOP EVERYONE. NO ONE LEAVES until they've been cleared.”

Delilah raised her arms behind her and a net of laser light encased the area immediately in front of the Hellfire Club, effectively trapping everyone inside it and preventing any potential carriers from escaping. Haleigh was busy culling the infected from the survivors. Better they should all die than the virus get out into the city.

Black Widow said:
”Nicolas, start leading us toward your Aunt. We need to get to her before it’s too late."

Delilah raised an eyebrow. Of course, they should save Dominique. It was the right thing to do. But did they really need to? She couldn’t help but wonder if the world mightn’t be better off should the royal court of the Hellfire Club perish here tonight. Oh, and she knew that Nicolas probably was spying on her thoughts again and would find a way to hold that one against her later. So be it, but she could bet she wasn’t the only one thinking it.

“Nico, maybe you should try and get a message to your aunt or someone near her?”

She followed the others inside, ready to blow herself up some zombies.

For someone who obsessed about her beauty and youth, Helena being involved in producing the living dead was probably a shock to most. But like most things Helena Quartermaine did, the production of the T-Virus was a profitable for her. However, she never expected that 10 years later their own creation would be ravaging the Hellfire Club. Unlike Malice and herself, Isis hadn't experienced what the T-Virus was capable of, so this was a whole new ball game for her.

"Watch out!"

Shouting over to Dominique as a zombie ran toward her, she fell back, terrified of what was happening around her. Using her forearms, which were morphed into steal blades, Helena slammed one against a forth coming zombie, chopping his head clean off. Prepared to go help Dominique, she finally managed to muster up some nerve and turn into a sandstorm, ravaging the zombie.

"This...."

Slamming a zombie's head into the large stone fireplace that was featured in the room, crushing his skull.

"is not..."

Stabbing another oncoming zombie with a fire poker straight through his head.

"my CUP OF TEA!"

Swinging the fire poker at another zombie, it morphed into a large axe right before it was impaled into the zombie's chest. Normally Helena had her WILDpack fight her physical battles for her while she "finished" off the enemy. She was never one to get dirty during an altercation, unless of course someone really pissed her off. ;) However, the chances of her pack being turned into zombies was too great. She couldn't risk having even more flesh eating freak shows trying to eat her for dinner.

Malice: Enchantrah! HURRY!

Enchantra knew that the only way to survive this chaos was to escape to the catacombs below the Hellfire Club. As Malice unleashed a huge psi javeline, Helena's transformed into pure fire, swirling around the zombies that were able to survive Diana's attack, burning them to a crisp. The fire streamed next to Malice and Isis before shaping to Helena's form and dissipating, revealing the metamorph.

"Lets get the hell out of here."

So the old patrol needed their help....hy this required Ava's was beyond her. Sure they were in a truce at the moment, but the sisterhood had no qualms breaking that truce if it suited their agenda. In fact, how the hell did they know the sisterhood weren't BEHIND the attacks at LAX? But of course, everyone was eager and willing to jump to their "frienemies" aid.

Entering the wormhole, seconds later they arrived outside of the Hellfire Club. Well...what was LEFT of the Hellfire Club. Fire could be seen exploding out of numerous windows from the 5th story. People were screaming and running outside of the front doors, which were barely hanging on by their hinges. Then they saw the goddamn zombies again.

Delilah: “Zombies…must be Tuesday.”

"I really hate Tuesdays."

As they stood outside in the rain, Ava looked up at the sky; the clouds parting and disappearing causing the downpour to stop.

Haleigh: Ava, give us cover to do damage control.

Nodding, fog began to roll in from down the street and engulf everyone, including the Hellfire Club. Walking with the others into the mansion, smoke filled the air from the above floors. Blood spattered walls and corpses of zombies were scattered throughout the building. Obviously a result of the sisterhood.

Delilah:
“Nico, maybe you should try and get a message to your aunt or someone near her?”

"Yes...it's bad enough we're on their turf with our heads up our asses. We should at least know where they are so we can find them."

Catching a cold glance from a few of the members.

"Oh come on, like none of you are thinking the same thing."

Nicolas exited with the team...

...entering into a state of chaos, outside the Hellfire club itself. He could hear many thoughts, from abject horror to the dying minds that were being turned to his teammates who wondered why they weren't leaving the Sisterhood to their fate. he understood the last sentiment, though Delilah believed he wouldn't. He ignored that for now and focused on the request at hand.

“Nico, maybe you should try and get a message to your aunt or someone near her?”

On it.

he found them all retreating downward to a labyrinthine underground area. He contacted Isis, who was still quite shaken.

Dominique...I felt your distress and we are here to help you. We are on an intercept course, please advise. Are you OK?

Even though his message was intended to be cold and businesslike the last part betrayed the care of a nephew who has been reaching out and gaining some small headway with an estranged aunt loud and clear. He cared and he dragged his friends here to help HER. That would be an obvious point.

As he contacted her, he scanned all of the bodies before him, walking at a brisk pace, his eyes aglow a bright red. Those with no heartbeats (dead or zombies) were crushed with a force of several tons. Nicolas was not fucking around and his teammates would see that.

Front of Hellfire Club

And so they were off arriving at the Hellfire Club to the usual. Zombies and people screaming. Cameron focused himself as he mentally influenced the chaos to stop. One by one, the survivors who were not too badly injured began to work together, in order to get each other out and to not cause any more injury to themselves or others. He would have made a great bouncer.

He knew something was off as soon as he stepped on the scene. He sensed something deep inside of him. Something almost primal, as if the deepest part of his being was trying to burst through. And it was ANGRY.

FLASH

Erika King lay over the body of her brother, her eyes enveloped in a fiery rage as her hands were splattered with blood. Blood shed from her own brother.

Erika: What's the matter, baby brother? No Alison to save you this time? No spell to keep you safe? Whatever will you do? Poor little baby, Cameron.. Oh.. I know..

Erika laughed maniacly as a rusted saw manifested in her hands in a swirl of dark black orbs. She was thirsty for blood.

You CAN die! You and that BITCH of a SISTER!!!"

Erika began screaming profanities as Cameron was throttled to the end of his pain threshhold. His vision was blurry, but he saw the visage of a tall blonde in white enter the room.

Woman: My my Erika. You've developed into quite the psychopath.. as well as a slob. Haven't you killed him yet?

Erika: No.. no. I want, I want to play with him some more. He needs to suffer. SUFFER, and Alison too...

The woman let out a cold laugh.

Woman: All in good time, but this one? [pointing to Cameron] is the LEAST of our worries. Let me show you how to do this properly and... with MALICE..

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

FLASH

"MALICE?! They formed an alliance with DIANA!?!?!"

Cameron was snapped back into reality. He wanted to explode. He wanted to lash out! The Six had made a deal with the DEVIL. A deal that they would SURELY get the raw end of. It got even worse when he could also see HELENA QUARTERMAINE in his mind's eye. What had they all gotten themselves INTO?!?

He exhaled heavily, really trying to focus on the task at hand. There wasn't time. Nicolas had proven himself to be a loyal teammate, and he didn't know Dominique from Adam. So if King wanted to rescue HER, that was okay.. but the OTHER TWO? Cameron wanted to be a part of NONE of that.

"This week just can't get any better..."

And so he continued to walk, not really sure if he was ready to face the woman responsible for his "death."

going underground

<< into ground zero they went. the increase in "zombie emergencies" pointed to something else, an organized movement controlled by someone behind the scenes but the Six had NO leads on who it could be. the LAST time the Six faced zombies and creatures of mystech, it was learned that Malice and Enchantrah had unleashed the T Virus in the Arklay Mansion, condemning scores of innocents to theier death...and damnation as the UNDEAD.>>

<< This time, The Sisterhood, comprised of two former Mystech heavy hitters and the displaced chanteuse, Dominique, were on the receiving end of a BIO TERROR event, one that could have severe and sweeping effects and implications due to it ravaging the ELITE of the "the society elite". >>

<< The Six, having enjoyed a truce with their most deadly enemies since the threat of Set, were now faced with another piece to a growing puzzle and once again, they'd be forced to stand back to back with their "frenemies">>

<< through the mansion they went, they couldnt help but remember the last mansion they'd gone through a similar ordeal in. the odds were a little more in their favor this time but with Cameron reeling from the revelation that the Six were now "in league" with the WHITE QUEEN was almost MORE than he could bear, while Haleigh was experiencing more "oddness" within herself as she was confronting the bio hazards, the creatures she could very BECOME one of if the right set of events played out. More than ever before, she was aware that somehow, it COULD happen.>>

<< Nicolas made contact with Dominique. Under MOST circumstances, the Black Queen did not welcome any contact with her nephew, but this was an emergency and she was too harried to block his attempts or even be offended. She breathlessly communicated their location to him and as the Sisterhood retreated to the secret passage, Malice, still in her diamond form HELD the 4 inch thick carbonium steel door UP as it was sliding down to seal off...the Six had best HURRY.>>

escape from the mansion

[ Despite their own catty relationship, Dominique & Helena had prooven they'd have each other's backs when the chips were down. Diana & Helena had experience the zombies and other mystech hazards but that was BEFORE Dominique's arrival to the Hellfire Club. She, being the only one among them (both groups) with no previous connection to Mystech, was now taken by shocking and alarming surprise as the T Virus swept through the Hellfire Club patrons gathered tonight and turned the Hellfire Mansion into ground zero of the 2nd bio terror event to occurr on American soil since the conflict between Terra Save and Wil Pharma had ESCALATED.]

[ what she was seeing now, stood everything ISIS was against, Isis being the egyptian goddess of rebirth and magick. and the LOOK in the zombie's eyes...it was so SIMILAR to what she saw the night Nicolas attacked her under Set's thrall. When Nicolas makes contact with her...her eyes flash with indignation but the pressing nature of this EMERGENCY allows her to put her feelings aside. Her NEPHEW had "heard" her distress and came to HELP her. That was NOT a characteristic of SET.]

[ as she and Diana hurried for the passage, Dominique was now able to justify defending herself against these creatures. they werent people anymore. she peppers more than a few of them with a barrage of mystic force bolts, following Helena's cue and hitting them in their HEADS, destroying them on contact.]

to Nicolas: we are retreating to the catacombs of the mansion. if you are here with your...companions...i suggest you hurry. Diana will not hold the door open for long.

[he asked if SHE was alright. the look on her face and the FEELING in her psyche said it all. this HORROR was not something she was expecting to see.]

[ Looking very dismayed]

I couldnt agree MORE!

[ Dominique points and a halo of golden magick forms around her hand, she blasts one remaining zombie as Malice holds the steel wall UP long enough for the Six to arrive and escape with them.]

[ as her eyes fix on Nicolas and the others, she quickly removes any traces of distress from her OWN facial features. though they had a truce with these young upstarts, that didnt mean Dominique would tolerate any nonsense OR show any weakness in front of them...not THIS time. She noticed their roster had changed and the magick users, Spellbinder and Harbinger were no longer among them, nor was Firebird. Instead, Sharon Kelly, Persephone and another young man were in their midst.]

Haleigh could tell Cameron was deeply disturbed by the truce, and she couldn't blame him. After everything Malice had put him, her, and them ALL through…. She understood. But she also understood that alliances were made out of necessity, and even though she would celebrate Malice's death herself, she observed the truce because it was working so far… and because the initial alliance had saved not JUST Haleigh, Nicolas, Morgan, and Isis, but had saved them ALL from that loss.

"Cameron… I know you're upset, and this will be difficult for ALL of us… but imagine a situation where choosing to side with the LESSER evil puts you standing next to Malice. You weren't here for Set…. But I saw more of him than anyone else. He did not simply want to RULE the world. He would have destroyed the planet and every living creature on it. Alison, Ava, Delilah and Karen made the RIGHT decision in calling the truce. [pause] We all had to compromise our ideals to survive that one."

The going is easier now. There are no more survivors to contend with now…. Only corpses and zombies, and that is easy fare for the seasoned Six. Nicolas gets in contact with Dominique and they reach the sisterhood in no time. Malice, in diamond form, was holding open the thick steel door. As Haleigh came into view, Malice would feel the weight of the door lessening until it seemed to weigh nothing at all.

"I've got the door now, Diana."

She wouldn't put it past Malice to 'accidentally' drop the door on a number of them, and Haleigh wasn't taking any chances at this point. She would be civil, not stupid.

To the Golden Girls! ----->!

Haleigh spoke. Part of him wanted to leave them. Leave all of them now. The unbelievable contempt he had for Malice for what she had done to him was all encompassing, and maybe they didn't understand completely. This woman took the little family that he had left and used her (Erika) to torture him, to attempt to MURDER him. She took everything from him. A sister, his life in New York, with the Six, and Haleigh. If he could have been there, if SHE hadn't had done what she'd done, things would have been different. Alexis could have been saved. He would have had Haleigh, he would have had BOTH of his sisters, and he could have been happy.

He HATED her, with every fiber of his being, down to the the depths of his soul he wanted nothing more than to unleash a fury so great upon her that it not only eradicated her completely, but anyone she ever cared for, ever loved, if she had been capable. That being said, the situation at hand left no time for personal vendetta and he was going to have to face the "demon" and get the job done. The Six had made an alliance, and he begrudgingly was a part of that now. All of this was going on as Haleigh finished her sentence to him. He snapped back to reality.

"Yeah. I get it Hales--Haleigh. I'm.. i'm fine. Let's just get the hell out of here.."

They approached the Sisterhood where Malice was holding up the door in her diamond form. Secretly Cameron pondered. The right angle at the right amount of pressure at the right time and the Ice Queen could be SHATTERED into little pieces. He quickly slowed and "scrambled" the thoughts in his head, making his thoughts and mind extremely hard to read. In the amount of times Cameron had been tortured and captured, he had gotten extremely adept in guarding his mind against attacks. It wasn't fullproof though, and though it pained him to admit, Diana was a stronger telepath than he was, but he wanted Diana nowhere near his thoughts or mind.. EVER again.

He saw a decidedly "refreshed" Helena Quartermaine and a cocoa skinned beauty he had never met, but assumed was Dominique. She was equally intimidating as the others. For now, he was going to keep his damn mouth shut, a feat that would prove much easier in theory. He quickly brushed passed Malice and the others as Haleigh was now holding the door.

underground respite

<< The Six collectively HATED/DESPISED Malice, and of them all, only Delilah and Haleigh would remember first hand the terror Enchantrah caused the team when she made her presence known. Isis was regarded with mixed feelings.>>

<<the ties that bind. In the case of the Six and their most powerfull enemies, the Sisterhood, there were many overlapping ties and connections but after the revelation of Dominique and Set and the subsequent terror that threatened both groups and the world...the two groups made the wise descision to come together to save themselves and everyone else. Now and forever, the memory of Set would remind them that their fates were more bound together than either side might like and Dominique Deveraux, due to her blood line with Nicolas would serve as the unwitting living bridge between the teams as long as she lived. The fine line between helping Nicolas aid his aunt and remembering that she was ALSO the Black Queen of the Sisterhood/Hellfire Club AND Isis, the avatar for the egyptian goddess of rebirth and magick was a fine one that the team HAD to tred with care...given that this woman was ALSO charged with forever keeping Set at bay and never allowing him to regain control of Nicolas again. but the truce between the teams was still in effect and still honored by both sides...for now.>>

<< the six's roster had changed since that time and with it came a new set of feelings and sensibilities regarding this truce, the most obvious objection coming from Cameron King who, like most of the others had been vexed and tortured by Malice...perhaps more DIRECTLY than the others. His hatred of her was only outmatched by Malice's own DEPRAVED soul and her willingness to do ANYTHING to ANYONE no matter what the harm to them to achieve her goals. To see her even be able to honor this truce was a small miracle in itself, but despite her sociopathic nature she, like the rest of them, had a sense of self preservation. With Cameron now in the same space as Diana, his own thoughts and emotions were ablaze...the victim reluctantly brought face to face with his tormentor. it could become a problem as the two teams now head underground to the Hellfire Clubs state of the art catacombs.>>

<< the catacombs an elaborate, underground network of tunnels, sanctuary, supplies, medical facilities, underground express jets and technology that allowed them to move virtually undetected in and around the city and even out of the state. the catacombs served as a major channel of operations for the Hellfire Club and the Six had only been here once before, during the caper of Set. the detail and set up seemed remarkably similar to that of Barbara Minerva's underground catacombs which were deemed "beyond this world's current technological curve" by Haleigh and Nicolas when they first saw it. >>

<< the technology housed here was more than impressive and keeping Haleigh in mind, Malice [ through unknown but presumed telepathic coersion/posession of the best tech minds available] has had the computers designed with special safe guards to make it difficult for even HER to hack into...and becuse of Haleigh's mystech roots, the tech allows Malice to trace ANY attempts Haleigh make BACK to her. Any such act would dissolve the truce immediately and so, Haleigh has had to keep herself from trying to hack into the Sisterhood's computer system.>>

<< the Six follows the Sisterhood into their "War Room" and as each Queen takes their seat at their designated station and powers up their portion of the computer system, various view screens that float around them in a circular pattern give perfect clear view of the mansion above in every place except the sisterhood/hellfire elete's quaters of course. some screens zero in on corpses or zombies and immeidately bring up a stream of vital stats on the creatures. other views are outside the mansion for blocks around and they also have feeds into OTHER supposedly "secure" systems for various industries, including the government....probably a hold over from the days when the Hellfire Club was directly tied to Mystech.>>

<< with everyone gathered and having a moment to catch their breath, now came the inevitable moment where the teams would have to TALK and discuss what happened, and how the T virus is now making plotted, terrifying appearences on the U.S. soil now as well as in other areas around the globe.>>

<< the first and reasonable "suspect" of course is Malice. The conversation will go as well as those among the Six best suited with "mediating" make it with their choice of words...which means that Delilah....or given how Malice is...HALEIGH will have to do the talking. Nicolas stays near his estranged aunt. while Cameron does his best to control himself, trying to keep his mind and emotions as hidden from Malice as he can. Ava can see the struggle he's having and keeps an eye on him so that he doesnt give in to his feelings and try to attack the White Queen. Sharon and Malice exchange looks of predatory agression between them. There is no love lost between these women...as THEY BOTH remember the night Malice ordered SHaron's family destroyed in Arklay Mansion. They've fought before since the return of the Silver Swan. The issue of whether Haleigh or Sharon would lead them further into the FIELD was ANOTHER matter to be resolved as well. >>

<< Still, personal drama aside, there was a bigger picture here to see and even as they try to put together theier pieces of this growing puzzel, the evening of surprises is not over YET for any of them.>>

The truce between the six and the sisterhood had not changed since Ava left for her month long vacation to Arie after the Set situation. And it seemed like even though everyone--on BOTH sides--would rather not have anything to do with each other, lucked out that their truce was still in tact. This zombie situation was going far beyond anything MysTech had cooked up with the help of Helena and Diana. They seemed as perplexed as the six did. So despite Ava's dislike for the rigamortis sisters, she knew they had to "play good".

Entering the Hellfire Club's war room, each queen took a seat in their respective seats. With her arms folded across her chest, Ava glanced over to Cameron who looked like he wanted to throttle something. Probably something white and diamond-like. ;) Shifting her eyes over to the table the woman sat at, they soon brought up view screens that displayed various images of the mansion above. Their entire club was littered with corpses and zombie debris.

Deciding to break the ice, Ava looked to Malice first.

"How did this all start? Do you have a security feed we can see?"

Helena sat, her expression less lofty than usual. She was actually concerned....their [Malice and herself] own project nearly killed them. And there was NO doubt that it had killed numerous members of her and the white and black queens court. Tapping her finger against the stainless steal table, a floating monitor appeared in front of her; Dominique and Diana followed suit. After the mess at LAX [which the sisterhood was fully aware of] and the blatant attack on the Hellfire Club, it was obvious a third party was trying to send a very powerful message.

Persephone: "How did this all start? Do you have a security feed we can see?"

"Computer, bring up outdoor security camera, time stamp 9:30 pm."

All of the monitors around the war room flickered to the street in front of the Hellfire Club. An unidentified black Rolls Royce slowed to a stop right in front of the Club. The windows were completely tinted concealing the passengers identities, and there were no visible plates or markings that would help identify the car and where it came from. The car door closest to the Club's front doors opened and a man is seen tossed out onto the sidewalk right before the Royce speeds off out of sight. The man slowly gathered to his feet before staggering around the sidewalk. The picture freezes on a perfect view of the man's face.

"His name is Charles Ryan. He's been apart of the Hellfire Club for nearly 10 years...."

The feed unfreezes and continues. It shows Charles Ryan stumbling through the Hellfire Club's front door and disappearing. The security camera also worked as a scanner as well, allowing the queens to gather all psychical and mutated stats on anyone who enters the club. The statistics of Charles Ryan began to list on the monitors.

"He was infected with the TO virus three hours before he was dropped off in front of the club....It normally takes anywhere from 12 to 24 hours for a healthy human infected with the virus to fully mutate. This is unheard of."

The monitors then switch to a feed inside the main foyer of the Hellfire Club. This is where the mayhem begins. Charles Ryan attacks and bites one of Helena's red court members. Looking over at Malice, Helena hesitated for a moment before continuing.

"Charles Ryan was apart of Diana's white court. For the past few months he repeatedly made advances toward me, but I of course had no interest in him. The last I saw of him was two weeks ago after a rather heated argument between us. He disappeared soon after."

Hellfire Club - underground

[ Isis takes a moment to search for members of the Black Court. only 3 of the 12 on her court managed to ESCAPE with their lives. The rest? dead...most on the floor of the crystal ball room where the Queens themselves had just been a moment ago.]

[ in the darkened, well fortified underground fortress the Sisterhood had a tremendous tactical strength and even though the Six had been here before, there was no way for them to tresspass in the future without being detected by Malice or Isis and that too would be seen as an act of war, ending their truce.]

[ she was still rattled by what she'd just experienced, not because she didnt have the power to repell it or defend herself and her fellow Queens BUT because there was something so..."unholy" about it all. the dead coming back to life as vicious, flesh eating creatures....no longer who they were...just savage creatures wearing the face of a human. it went against everything she and the goddess that she prayed to stood for. She was the only "uninitiated" to the full backstory of mystech, the t virus, arklay mansion, the creatures that resulted from the experiments etc. and who knows, had she been involved in Nicolas' life when he was younger, she might have saved him and his father Gustav from Malice. But where would that have put her in the PRESENT? Isis was about to learn more about Malice and Enchantrah's past during this caper. It wouldnt drive her AWAY from them, but it would further underscore the differences between the White & Red Queens and the Black Queen.]

[ Persephone, another goddess among them, was the first to ask the obvious question.]

[ Isis was wondering why Malice's psi powers didnt warn her of the infected member the moment he arrived. BUT she, like Enchantrah and Malice had already slipped into another mode. They werent about to 2nd guess their own in FRONT of the Six. Isis was already having a hard ENOUGH time dealing with what she'd just seen and NOW being in the same room as her estranged nephew. He cared for her deep down....and what bothered her the most was that she cared for HIM too...deep down. He was ALL that was left of her sister.]

[ Helena plays back a key piece of security tape. They identify the direct source of this shocking outbreak and there's no doubt in anyone's mind that this was deliberate. Now this was the 2nd high profile bio terror event on U.S. soil. Helena spoke about the virus and the time it NORMALLY takes to turn its victim into a zombie. Dominique looks at her with a brief flash of disbelief in her eyes.]

Diana and Helena....they know MUCH more about this than I do and for ALL our sakes....they should be forthcoming. Still, I will not allow our ENEMIES to see us in dischord.

Any sign or indication of the virus' presence in the Hellfire Mansion escaped our detection until it was on top of us.

[one thing she DID know...]

Since I am apparently the only one who has NOT encountered this virus before, during the chaos I heard that it was a virus and tried to cure/reverse its effect on one of the victims in my Black Court with my magick. There was no effect. I am assuming, therefore, that the virus CAN'T be dealt with by magick. not even the magick of the goddess of rebirth herself!

[ indeed, Spellbinder had tried to cure/heal Haleigh AND mainstream Blaze multiple times, as had Harbinger following HER infection but they failed. ]

Such a virus that is immune to magick and ravages the living in a way not seen since the Black Death is obviously not naturally occurring.

[ searching for information on Charles Ryan.]

there's nothing that indicates any suspicious activity from Charles Ryan in the past two weeks.

[ The Hellfire Club could find ANYONE of its members and check in depth on them]

It appears that aside from his....roving eye [ Diana & Helena] he was no more a security risk than any other member who rises from the rank of casual to being a member of a Queen's court. There's nothing here that suggests his outside dealings were in direct conflict with Hellfire interests. He has an ex wife and two children, one of whom is grown. The adult child will inherit his membership to the Hellfire Club as well as access to the White Court.

[ and so it seemed Charles Ryan might have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time, picked as a target by SOMEONE ELSE...but WHO? some among the Six might suspect Malice, being that she was TWISTED enough to have someone killed for any number of reasons and for a member of the White court to ACTIVELY seek out the affection of someone from another court....especially the QUEEN? That was disrespectfull indeed but would Diana go THIS far!? In this instance, all Isis could do was watch as the conversation unfolded...this was one situation where at first glance, Dominique was definately NOT directly connected.]

[ Isis continued to mull over her computer console and the screens that flowed around around her.]

The War Room

They gathered in the War Room and took respective seats as Ava inquired about the event and Helena gave them the little information that she did have. He prayed for Charles Ryan and the fact that he actually wanted to romance Helena Quartermaine, but to each their own he concluded.

Dominique: The adult child will inherit his membership to the Hellfire Club as well as access to the White Court.

Instantly he thought this was a game Malice could have orchestrated, but at least to him, he didn't think she was actually a part of this. If she wanted Charles Ryan gone, she would have gone about it in a much cleaner and precise manner. She wouldn't have unleashed this kind of mess onto the Hellfire Club.

"Well it was obviously an inside job, but what do we know about his grown child? I know it's not the prettiest scenario, but we've seen worse. What if this kid wanted quicker access to the Hellfire Club, the White Court specifically? It's worth a look into."

Nicolas guarded the rear as they entered past the reinforced steel door and shadowed his aunt into the technological maze that passed for a corridor. Organic systems, fiber optics and lasers used in ways he found endlessly clever in spite of the situation. It recalled Minerva's nearly alien setup. He could not pull information per se (nor would he, that would be a big-time no-no under the truce); indeed, he immediately surmised that the organic systems wouldn't even allow Haleigh to scan cleanly, but he could get an easy look at ways to improve their own systems. He did so unconsciously, as naturally as remembering the plot of a story he was reading.

He entered the War Room silently, waiting for what was to come as he watched Isis. Her cold demeanor did not hide the rush of feelings he got from her at the situation. One that gave him comfort was that, she did indeed seem to care just a bit for him after all. he listened as the Queens told of what they knew about the attack tonight.

He listened and analyzed, then he spoke.

Dom-...Isis, this virus is essentially a living death sentence to whomever it infects. Only the strongest concerted effort on every level can cure an infection. I have had success slowing infection progression by what must have been this virus' predecessor. Infection and progression rates at this level...mind-boggling.

Nicolas took a step forward, then settles his eyes on Malice.

This appears in my opinion to be an effort to discredit you and Enchantrah through your roles in this virus' inception and development in league with Mystech. Whoever did this likely knows your histories and has the capability to further the work done on this virus from when we thought we had it contained. If I can get a sample of the new strain I can try to work on a way to slow it as well while we try to figure out who is responsible; obviously what I have already formulated will be nearly useless in comparison.

The catacombs. An underground sanctuary with an arsenal of technological splendor. Even Haleigh had to give credit where credit was due, and it was a pretty decent system. She tested the lines and firewalls but stopped as she sensed a safety feature designed specifically to report HER intrusion. Thorough, but of course she could do better. For example, Haleigh would have been competent enough to have a camera set up specifically to catch not just license plates, but the VINs of curbside vehicles. As she watches the video feed, she purses her lips in frustration but doesn't remark on the improvements she would make to their system. They might be offended if she pointed out their deficiencies, and that would be counterproductive.

Helena: He was infected with the TO virus three hours before he was dropped off in front of the club....It normally takes anywhere from 12 to 24 hours for a healthy human infected with the virus to fully mutate. This is unheard of.

"But not all that surprising. The virus was engineered to be self-improving. It is constantly evolving; getting stronger, faster, and more efficient when left on its own."

Nicolas: Dom-...Isis, this virus is essentially a living death sentence to whomever it infects.

Haleigh suppressed a heavy sigh, glancing down and silently conceding to that undeniable truth. In her case, it was a 'living' death by inches. Charles Ryan was infected, and three hours later her stumbled into the club and succumbed to the virus. How mercifully short his suffering was. Currently Haleigh was the only being ever to be infected with the TO virus and retain her natural human sentience. How long would that remain true?

Dominique: Since I am apparently the only one who has NOT encountered this virus before, during the chaos I heard that it was a virus and tried to cure/reverse its effect on one of the victims in my Black Court with my magick. There was no effect. I am assuming, therefore, that the virus CAN'T be dealt with by magick. not even the magick of the goddess of rebirth herself!

"No… the relationship between magick and technology is like… two sides of the same coin. They naturally oppose each other, but you cannot have one without the other, and you cannot completely destroy one with the other."

They discussed Ryan and how culpable he might have been. None of the sisterhood seemed to suspect his consensual involvement in this attack. Considering how he ended up, Haleigh didn't think he was behind it either. It might be more revealing to find the link between tonight's attack at hellfire and this afternoon's terror at LAX.

[at the Sisterhood] "How familiar are the three of you with the events that occurred earlier at LAX?"

Hellfire Club - catacombs

By all means, Black Widow.

:: Malice said in a sultry tone as she smirked at the suspicious hyrbrid who took hold of the massive steel panel that would seal them off from the topside of the Mansion once everyone made it through. Picking up on some of Haleigh's more "stand out" thoughts and emotions, as well as Cameron's before he went into OVERDRIVE trying to block her as best he could, the White Queen was more than aware of the feelings the Six had about her, but she didnt CARE. SHe didnt get as far as she did by being a slave to OTHER people's moral compasses. Ava and Sharon were more like Malice and the Sisterhood than they would care to admit and the emotional "soreness" of this new line up in the six stood out to the telepath/empath like a red beacon in a fog. whatever they were going through prior to their arrival to NYC, it was DEFINATELY significant. in another time or situation, Malice would HAPPILY and CERTAINLY exploit this but not now. The TRUCE was still in tact and while the Six were on THEIR turf, Malice saw the necessity of supressing her own tendency to telepathically PRY into the unprotected minds of that time. ::

:: She also knew that Enchantrah and Isis would slip into "business mode" along with her. They may need to work WITH the Six but by no means would they be having a "Brady Bunch" reunion moment with them.::

:: Malice WINKED at Cameron as his eyes met her own sapphire blue eyes and he brushed past her.::

it's okay....most men are not sure of themselves around me. you arent the first...and you wont be the last.

:: she thought in a mocking tone as she "laughed" mentally.::

:: they were sealed off and now down into the catacombs, through the passages and into the war room where weach Queen took her station and powered up their portion of the large, state of the art "mother brain" . floating screens flickered on and circled around them as various streams of data began to flow in. information, images, audio feeds and more...it was all here.::

:: Persephone broke the ice between the "frenemies" and they began to try to piece together what happened, what lay beneath the obvious.::

Charles Ryan, for all his attempts to "come up" in the Hellfire Club and the world in general, he was still just a man...like any other...driven by his base instincts.

:: referring to Ryan's sex drive. she wasnt at all offended that he had an eye for Helena, but it WAS disrespectfull for a member of one Queen's court to make such overt advances to ANOTHER court's Queen. She couldnt speak for Isis, but she and Enchantrah had their established tastes in men and Charles Ryan, while relatively "young" and accomplished, and a large portfolio included...was not really Diana's cup of tea.::

:: Isis and Enchantrah confirmed that he had not been engaging in any activity that would have posed a threat to the Hellfire Club, aside from apparently being stupid enough to get caught up in someone's trap and turned into their unwitting pawn. he OBVIOUSLY had not taken heed to one of Diana's rules...one that she was sure even Haleigh would appreciate...."you do not tempt a spider in the center of HER web. spiders SET the traps...they do not get CAUGHT by them."::

:: As Enchantrah indicated the rapid course the T Virus took on Ryan and Isis expressed subtle frustration at the fact that her magicks couldnt affect it, Malice reviewed the feed from her station, watching as Ryan stumbled into the mansion's foyer and moments later, completely transformed into a zombie. She'd seen it MANY times before. She even remembered when....::

Arklay Mansion, a dark and stormy night. in the underground scientific research labyrinth we find Dr. James Marcus once again working with his "beloved" pet leeches...as he attempts to refine the PROGENITOR VIRUS.

Two women, one dressed in white, the other in red, both their faces enshrouded in shadow, stood in the doorway.

Malice: Most men would rather be enjoying the company of a woman at this bewitching hour. you? you're down here...in this technological gateway once again obsessing over your little "friends"...[the leeches]. Is there a fetish you've had that you haven't told me about? Marcus?

Dr. Marcus: No Diana, but that you could even ask me that...and suspect it to be true...makes me wonder about you.

Malice: WONDER all you want. It's not like I haven't known you to do that or have OTHER thoughts about me before.

<< Dr. Marcus stands up right from his work and turns around, looking at Malice, clearly irritated that once again she flaunts her telepathic eavesdropping.>>

Malice: Oh please. Don't bother to deny it. Your thoughts are pitifully transparent, like most of the "men" in this playpen of a mansion. now why did you summon us?

<< swing around Marcus, to the patform behind him and the surgical tray he was leaned over...the leeches now larger and of a different color, with an "eye" shapped mark on their backs and posessing jaws with TEETH on their underside. there WERE four....but one was DEVOURED by another and Marcus draws Malice's attention to the other one now being eaten by the surviving two.>>

Marcus: Thanks to your STALLING of Lord Spencer and the other investors, I've had time to delve deeper into OUR research for the perfect bio organic weapon. and finally....I've done it. the Leech dna has bonded with the progenitor virus and made them EVOLVE. they've grown in size, strength and even intellect. but the most notable change is that they are now ravenous cannibals in their appetitue for...FLESH be it one of t heir own....or

<< gesturing over to an operating table>>

HUMAN.

<< Diana and Helena see the badly decomposed body of a man who has been dead for a few hours. he was a hiker that was captured in the forest of arklay...one of MANY that would fall prey to this place in the years to come. there were leeches on the table slithering about and what SHOCKED Diana was that she could now SENSE an "intelligence"...BEYOND what what a simple living organism would but
there was something else. Diana and Helena looked at each other and then back at the corpse and leeches on the table before finally looking back at the tray on Marcus' platform.>>

Malice to Enchantrah telepathically: this is INDEED significant. But Marcus is getting sloppy...i sense his mind teetering on the edge of totally unraveling. My psi and empathic powers are telling me that Somehow, through his efforts and experiements, he's begun the first but solid stages of a empathic BONDING with these...genetically altered leeches. they have CHANGED but they are ALSO responding to HIS subconscious and emotional core. if he becomes completely AWARE of this and asserts control, he could tip the scale of power AGAINST us ALL.

Enchantrah to Malice: then perhaps we should deal with him BEFORE it gets out of our hands.

Malice to Enchantrah: and steal this evolved virus. I've been broadcasting Marcus' thought processes and memories to Dr.'s Adam Chandler and Christopher Victory all the while so they will be able to pick up where Marcus ultimately leaves off due to an..."unfortunate accident". This is our money, this was made possible by OUR maneuvering between Marcus and Lord Spencer and we would be FOOLISH to believe that he , as he is NOW, will continue to cooperate with us as he delves deeper into this newly developed bond with his...T Virus altered leeches. We MUST act soon.

<< it was at THIS moment that a MILESTONE in Mystech's history had been achieved. Not only had the primitive Progenitor Virus evolved and created the first of many new and deadly creatures...but the seeds of Marcus' own destruction had been sewn by the White & Red Queen.>>

:: Nicolas suspects that whoever is behind this is more than a little familiar with Malice and Enchantrah's role in the creation of this virus and their link to Mystech. and that THIS attack was designed to discredit them. Its a very keen observation.::

Malice: Yes. The question then becomes WHO. There is no one left from the original or 2nd generation "Inner Circles" of Mystech except Enchantrah and Myself. Mystech has been destroyed...and further dismantled by the federal government. But someone must have aquired a sample of the T Virus before the destruction of Arklay Mansion. I would very much like to know WHO.

:: am event that Malice was not even on this world for, thanks to Morgan destroying her original body, BUT she had since learned about it from the minds and memories of the Six as well as their own computer system and covert links to government files.::

:: Malice responded...tilting her head and SMILING at Cameron, as if she had no idea of WHY he could possibly HATE her so. ;) her smile was so infuriating. it was as if she was not even AWARE of what she'd done to him. and try as he might to hide it, his emotions PULSATED with the deep seated, driving passion of HATE. She was TAUNTING him. DARING him to do something but there was no mental contact from her to him. no outward or covert "move". Just her knowing her FAVORITE victim well enough to be able to push his buttons just by LOOKING at him.::

Ryan's adult child is a son. Jacob Ryan. He's gay. studying abroad. he has a very voracious appetite for excess including designer drugs and men. rarely does he travel overseas to see his family who have..."christian" roots. he preferes to stay overseas. his membership will allow him access to the Hellfire Club's LONDON branch. He has spent so much time keeping his TRUE life a secret from his family, that he would not risk being "discovered" by frequent or prolonged contact with his parents. it is unlikely he was behind this, given the fact that he was not even completely AWARE of his father's tie to the Hellfire Club.

:: Nicolas wants to obtain a sample of the virus as it appears now.::

If you'd like to go up top, then by all means, have at it. Isis can teleport you with her spells OR...::in a knowing town:: if you would rather...MorningStar could use her own transport power...if that makes you feel...

:: smiling and revealing her gleaming white teeth with a rather wicked glint in her eye::

SAFER.

:: as Haleigh spoke to Isis about the ongoing struggle/relationship between Magick and Technology, Malice thought back to Mystech's WISE descision to find the synergy between the two forces and how HER inner circle FURTHERED that endeavor following the destruction of Marcus and the FIRST deliberate release of the T Virus against unsuspecting humans in a mass number...the one SHE and Enchantrah caused in Arklay mansion. Their strongest mystics had been Kelly King and Imagiomg. Imagiomg was a being Malice had encountered before during her explorations overseas. He was a dreadfull, dark mage and had prooven to be quite powerfull. HE was the one who infected HALEIGH with the virus by order of Dr's Chandler & Victory...but THEY had no idea that THEY were being influenced by MALICE as "compelled" them
to trust Imagiomg more and more...allowing more MAGICK to be involved in their technological endeavors. it was a descision that paid off tremendously for through Imagiomg, the virus had become IMMUNE to magickal interferrence. Not even Spellbinder, Harbinger or Isis could affect it. Of course that was when Malice was on the OTHER SIDE of the Virus' deadly path. NOW, she secretly wished that Isis COULD have erradicated the virus with her magick tonight. THEN she wouldn't be forced to STOMACH the presence of her most hated foes right now!::

One of our members was aboard the flight,The Red Queen's "Rook". We became aware of the disaster almost immediately. The Red Rook was beyond our ability to save as he along with every other passenger and crew member on the plane had succumbed to the virus by the time it crashed into the terminal.
But we saw no need to involve ourselves , as you all predictably got involved. I hope you remember the efforts that went into making it possible for you to return to "society" at large.

:: referring to the Sisterhood's efforts to cover their return into society on american soil.::

If EITHER of our groups are going to be able to find out who is behind this, we need to stay out of the range of prying eyes AND minds.

:: images and various playbacks from LAX manifest on the floating screens around Malice's station. ::

Members of the White, Red and Black Courts have been among the victims of these media termed "bio terror" events in both occassions. But my psi scans have been thus far unable to trace anything or anyone with knowledge that would allow us to begin tracking who is ultimately responsible. Tonight's attack on the Hellfire Mansion...it definately confirms what I was suspecting. What Rampage has already pointed out.

It seems that we werent the only ones with a personal stake in this either. Your precious Alycia Barnett has suddenly reappeared on the radar and WITHOUT any help from us. There's something DIFFERENT about her. I see she's not with YOU now either, i guess some reunions arent as "happy" as you might hope? Maybe SHE'S behind this. After all, we are aware of her ties to the radical "human rights" group, TERRA SAVE. An interesting bunch, that lot. One of Isis' Black Court DEFECTED from the Hellfire Club to Terra Save. She was widowed when the Citadle melted down (the event that catalyzed the Six into being) . She returned to the Hellfire Club thinking that I[/b} along with Enchantrah were no longer involved, but she was mistaken.

We're ALSO aware of Wil Pharma as well. an ambitious pharmaceutical company that has enjoyed RAPID growth and expansion. No doubt they are following the formula and pattern of Mystech with the hope of reaching the cusp of global dominance.

:: looking at Haleigh and Delilah directly, Malice facial expression took a sharply more serious look. Delilah REALLY should be more carefull with her thoughts, and since Malice was NOT Nicolas or Cameron, she didnt CARE what Delilah thought about her picking up on her toughts.::

No, we are NOT involved with them. Just as we out grew and OUT LASTED Mystech, we have no interest in "going back." But your Alycia, she certainly has had a DIVERSE career path. From agressive, not so innocent woman of guile and intellect meddling in the affairs of an entity she had no hope of comprehending....

:: looking at Sharon::

Yes, I know that SHE was the one who sent Delilah's mutant hating boyfriend to rescue you and your family. but he failed didnt he? just like he FAILED at alot of other things. She certainly didnt count on him becoming her's...our OUR worst nightmare did she? Good thing Delilah had enough sense after she snapped out of her lovestruck STUPOR to put him DOWN like the rabid dog he was.

and continuing on with Miss Barnett...to a bitchy ADA, to the steel nerved federal agent to...a ZOMBIE!

:: looking at the group.::

that must have been Q-UITE a moment for you, dragging your beloved human ally into the jaws of death, sealing her doom and then being UNABLE to save her from DYING at the hands of the very creatures that one of you is destined to become.

:: referring to Haleigh.::

that reminds me...how ARE you feeling lately, dear?

:: returning to the subject of Alycia.::

Alycia survived that incident though, due to a concert effort by your witches, Spellbinder and Harbinger along with Black Widow, whose own unique physiology and empathy for the virus makes her one of the most standout beings ever to have encountered it, and Rampage. and now, after being absent for QUITE sometime, she's back, and as elusive as a ghost. Not wanting to be associated with her "FAMILY", but instead choosing to be apart of a fringe group that has gained the trust of popular opinion and the media. It just seems rather...ODD that she would appear just as these two disasters occurred.

:: inflamatory remarks to be sure, but nothing out of character for MALICE, who had no qualms about highlighting the weaknesses, failings and shortcomings of ANYONE that crossed her. and it prooved that the Sisterhood were just as aware of events going out way beyond their doorstep as ever. perhaps even MORE so than the Six now that they no longer had a precog in their midst.::

:: though Malice was being bitchy as always, the Sisterhood WERE cooperating and working with the Six well enough so far. If they had to endure Malice's verbal barbs along the way, so be it...although Cameron was seething to the point that now even NICOLAS was picking up on his distress. Malice was delighting in it. she wasnt even DOING anything to him and he was on the verge of erupting, like a caged experiment from the labs of mystech. if HE attacked her, he would destroy their truce and ignite a renewed war and although the Sisterhood were ready to fight, neither THEY NOR the majority of the Six saw that as being productive at this time.::

The War Room

Cameron listened as Malice spoke, the mere sound of her voice causing his heart to drop into his stomach, and he KNEW she could sense it. She knew he was ready to pounce on her like a lion. He also knew that he COULDN'T. Returning to the Six had now left him tied to people he despised more than anyone. People who were friends with his MOTHER, people who were more than happy to carry out events that ruined his life. As she continued, Cameron's mind played out a series of events, each one different. He pictured grabbing the monitors and bashing Malice over the head. He pictured himself ripping Helena's arm from her body and beating Malice until she bloody. He pictured FLAYING Malice alive. These "happy" thoughts allowed him to stomach the rest of Malice's verbal assault on the group. She just couldn't resist herself.

She wasn't wrong. Alycia was a highly suspicious person, and if Sharon wasn't there, he would pursue Alycia as a person of great interest. But everyone seemed too keen on protecting a person who know was part of some guerilla super spy organization bent on destroying what could possibly be the next MysTech. He had seen in his mind the things she said to Haleigh and Delilah earlier, the way she acted. Something was definitely not okay with Alycia Barnett.

"I agree.. it IS odd. But I guess I would like to think after everything she went through, she wouldn't go around infecting countless civilians with a super virus to push her new organization's own agenda. I could see her unleashing this on the Hellfire Club, but the United States at large? No..."

[rolling his eyes]

[to himself] "No.. no don't entertain her. That's what she wants. An explosion, something to break the truce. Something to GIVE her a reason to do the things she does."

He played "Party in the USA" in his head while Malice RIPPED into Delilah and Haleigh in her own nonchalant and seething way. It was a true testament to how much he hated Malice when he would force himself to chant the lyrics to a Miley Cyrus song rather than listen to her words.

"Look, I guess we have all the information we're going to get while still being civil. I know some of you may not like it, but we need to talk to Alycia. We need to see about this "rogue" member of the Hellfire Club. Maybe Alycia isn't exactly sure what she is a part of? Because Terra Save is seeming to me less like an organization for the greater good and more like a political machine, deploying tactics such as infecting airport terminals in order to show their cause is a just one. All of them could be way in over their heads, not to mention stupid."

He was trying to keep the group on task. Malice had pretty much attempted to rip them to shreds, trying to ignite Haleigh, Sharon and Delilah, the three who most likely WOULDN'T keep their mouths shut. Thankfully, Cameron was being able to contain his rage, although it was practically oozing out of his ears. He looked at Malice, quizzically. He really wondered what brought forthe the woman that they all knew as Malice. What made her the way that she was? Cameron wished she wasn't a telepath. He wish he could delve into her mind and read everything, every memory, ever word, find something could somehow justify the things Diana had done. He then conclude, the search probably would have been in vain. Some people were just born.. BAD.

Hellfire Club- bitches

[After fighting through the initial outbreak and helping those who were still alive to escape, Silver Swan found herself in the crystal ball room with the others and the sisterhood waiting for them to join them in the escape route.]

[ down in the catacombs, Sharon had been here before. it was definately a big ace in the hole for the Sisterhood. Sharon herself was still very agitated with Delilah and Haleigh and wouldnt have minded "putting their heads TOGETHER" in a most violent way, but for now, the more pressing matter was Nicolas answering Isis' distress call and this latest "bio terror" event. two in the same day??]

[ as the two groups began to piece together some sense of what had happened and what it may mean, Malice took the opportunity to be the bitch that they all knew her to be. surprisingly, Sharon wasnt "OFFENDED" but rather AMUSED. Malice sliced up Delilah and Haleigh, who obviously were not as carefull about guarding their thoughts at the moment and it gave Sharon a nice bit of satisfaction to know that SOMEONE ELSE was not above letting those two self righteous bitches have it. When Malice had her go at Sharon, the mutate remain posed with her arms folded.]

Good, I'm glad you know you're history. Speaking of failures...Tell me...while you were dead and hopefully in HELL where you belong, did you happen to run into your flunkie, Rick Riley? We sent him there. From you all the way to him...one of the BIGGEST apparent "failures" was mystech's inability to completely deal with ME...and here I am, right along with YOU. I set my son free from the damnation you gave him...and I have the power to make YOUR life just as much of a living hell as you once did mine!

[ Sharon said with a smug tone as she continued to lock eyes with Malice.]

oh and don't forget, I have membership to the Hellfire Club TOO, courtesy of my late husband? Robert Kelly, the man you murdered in Arklay? So that means that ANYTIME I WANT, I can come pay you a little visit! Perhaps I'll look into that once we're finished with this HERE!

[ She said with a sly smirk on her face and a glint in her silver eyes. The last time she and Malice squared off, it was at the Black Out party. Sharon wasnt afraid of Malice. In fact, the two might have had more in common now than ever before and Sharon was MORE than a little amused by Malice right now.]

Yes, I suppose YOU should be worried about Alycia, shouldnt you? She's one of the FEW who dared to stand up against you and SURVIVED it. Alycia is no more responsbile for this than YOU are...unless of course there's something you and your precious Sisterhood aren't TELLING US?

[ Prophet immediately interjected, trying his best to keep things on due course. It was the wise thing to do, as Malice would find Silver Swan MORE than willing to entertain her bitchery and give it BACK to her. just because they were in a truce didnt mean that SHE had to put up with Malice's barbs. She wouldnt have in her days as a senator, and she wouldnt now. ]

[ Sharon paused for a moment as the telepath spoke. But she did not take her eyes of Malice until Cameron seemed to AGREE with Malice's implying ALYCIA had something to do with this. She looks at Cameron with a GLARE of disapproval but just as the Sisterhood were presenting a united front, the Six were following suit and so, Sharon stifled her urge to slam Cameron for even giving place to Malice's ludicrous suggestion about Alycia.]
