:: Euthalia also freed herself from the coccoon with her dagger. She looked at the fairy. ::

"What about.... hide and seek? It's such a fun little game, we'll hide anywhere in this forest and you come and find us."

:: She said smiling and wondering what those candies were. They looked colorful and good, she was ignoring the matter of the beast figuring they'd face it sooner or later and concentrating more on a way to get out of the fairy's sight hide and seek might just be the way to do it. ::

:: Rama shook his head, he had already placed his whip back on its holster, he would await to be realeased by Gossamer herself, she seemed to attack anyone who broke free. ::

"Gossamer, I won't run away, so would you free me from this webbing? So what will the game be?"

*Suddenly her whole body was covered with webbing, and she wondered if the faerie really hadn't noticed the others cutting themselves out yet. She sneezes from the web and then looked at the faerie, sending her a message.*

"It'll be rather hard for me to play your game if i can't more or speak. Could you tell us about this 'bigger' thing you mentioned. If we know what to expect, we can protect ourselves better."

Gossamer's eyes grow wide at all the talk of the danger in the Forest. At blinding speed, she launches herself into Rama's hair, hiding her tiny body and murmering to herself.

"Ohh bad things, bad things run in the forest! Bad, bad things!!"

Gossamer appears reluctant to tell them about the dangers of the Forest though she does peek out at everyone from Rama's hair.

Gossamer

:: Holding onto Rama's hair tightly the little creature looked at the others, her body shaking a little ducking deeper into Rama's hair again she hid a bit, whispering so only Rama could hear ::

"They are big.. big not like you.. bigggggg and they BITE"

:: Peeking out of his hair again she looked at the others who had gotten out of their webbing and whimpered softly ::

"Don't you like Gossamer don't you trusth her? we should play games.. games are good... big things they BITE !!"

:: The little creature crawled deeper into Rama's hair sitting at the back of his neck she talked to him ::

"I do like your hair.. it's pretty.. do you let your mamma bursh it? you have a mamma right? do you? hmmmz I think you would have one were else would you come from.. she must be big... to have you.. is your mamma reallly big?"

:: Her voice become really low and soft as if she was speaking to herself again ::

"Yes she must be big.. how else could she have you.. OOoo maybe she could come and.. no.. not good mamma's do protect.. Gossamers mamma did... before.. they ate her..."

:: Gossamer began to play with Rama's hair making little braids into the long red strands taking out colorful ribons she tied them in it making him look like a big doll ::

"Can you describe them a bit more? Besides them being big and biting what else do they do?"

:: Apparently the fairy seemed very frightened so she figured she'd better soothe and comfort her or atleast find out what she was talking about to help her, especially since she meant no harm to any of the group members just wanted to play...almost like a child. ::

"Because Gossamer we'd love to help you rid the forest of these.... things."

:: Rama's whip acted of its own accord and cut him loose but he didn't run just sat up and as he did Gossamer flew into his hair. He had a shocked look on his face but did nothing to take her out. Not like she was hurting his most prized assest. He listened to her whispering, he was about to say something to her when she hit her next set of speech ::

"We do trust you, you have been nothing but protecting. Thank you for your complements but alas I do not have a mother, or if I do I never knew her. I came out of a White Hole in the far vast Cosmos and floated to Earth."

:: Rama said the next part very low, as to not upset Gossamer ::

"I am sorry for your loss, but what type of things are these creatures?"

:: Rama then felt her putting his hair into braids and look wide eyed at the group in front of him, but then calmed down. He could always take them out later ::

:: Gossamer was still in Rama's hair making little braids as Euthalia spoke to her she stopped and looked up for a moment, shaking her head her eyes grew bigger as she began to make scared sounds she crawled deeper into Rama's hair ::

"Shhhh don't talk about them.. their bad.. they bite and their bad.. BIG and BITE don't talk.. they may hear... shhhhh"

:: Acting very quickly she flew out of Rama's hair straight to Euthalia, just as she was about to ask another question Gossamer put some of the bright colored candy into her mouth, turning around she flew back to Rama hiding in his hair again ::

"Play games have fun.. don't talk about them... they are bad.. they hurt.. eat... kill... Gossamer wants you to be safe.. don't get eaten.. not good.. not good at all... bad.. yes bad.. now shhhh"

:: Making more braids into Rama's hair she began to put more colored ribons in his hair as well ::

"Pretty hair.. such pretty hair.. yes very pretty.. not harm new friends.. they are nice.. keep safe.. not hurt from Them.."

:: Rama sighed and kept his voice lowered and spoke to Gossamer ::

"Sugah, please, if you want us to trust you, you need to trust us. We will help you get rid of these things and avenge your mother. Let us help you and then maybe we can play and not have to worry about the bad things"

:: He turned his head so she could see him smiling at her ::

:: Almost under her breath, she muttered to herself ::

"No, I don't want to get eaten either. No fun at all."

:: She watched Rama interact with the fairy, turning, smiling at her, watching with the barest hint of a smirk as Goassamer braided his hair. Still, interested in hearing more, she kept her mouth shut, inteased, working the razor sharp edge of the said through the webbing loosing it to the point where she could easily snap it open. ::

'They bite'. And we're going to end up facing these without an ounce of magic... Unless Gossamer has a trick or two up her sleeve?

:: Following Rama's example, she smiled sincerely at Gossamer, not knowing whether she could see her or not from her current vantage point of Kurama's hair ::

In the distance, an echoing howl with a hissing undertone is heard. At the sound, Gossamer's eyes grow wider and she starts to tremble.

:: Ducking deeper into Rama's hair Gossamer shakes violently making little whimpering sounds she holds on tight while speaking softly ::

"It's them... their coming!! hide be safe run.. hide... be safe don't let them get you !!"

:: Suddenly she flew out of Rama's hair into a tree almost invisible to the eye she sat on a tree branch in between the green leafes.. ::

"Friends move.. hide... do something.. it's THEM !!! get out... they BITE.. BIG !!!"

:: Rising instantly from the torn webbing, she glances through the trees, trying to spotwhatever it was that was coming. Almost automatically, she drew her shinai, lengthening it to its full six feet. She glanced at the others, checking that they too were standing ::

"Wait - Gossamer, you've gotta help us, OK? What are they?"

"Guys into the trees"

:: With catlike skill Rama flips up high into the branches of the tree above him, near the middle of the great tall oak. Even with his bright hair, using his previous living arrangement in the rainforest he is able to blend in barely able to be seen. He waits with hardly any breath for what is coming ::

:: Throws the cocoon onto the floor and gets up quickly. Then heeds Rama's suggestion and runs into the trees. He holds his axe close, ready to protect himself and his group ::

I hope they arn't something like dragons because we haven't got our powers and we will practically be dead anyway...

:: Gossamer watched the group move back into the trees and jumped from branch to branch to make sure everyone was there ::

"Hurry their coming !! didn't you hear them Howl? the hissing they bite you... and when they do you die !!!"

:: Sitting on Rama's shoulder for a moment she looked down on the members who were still on the ground, watching them for a moment as her eyes searched the forest for any sign of Them getting closer ::

"Hurry !!! get in the trees or just stay in your coccoon and stay as still as you can.. don't move.. don't breathe... don't make a sound.. they won't get you if they don't see you.. stay still don't make a sound !!!"

:: Her physical prowess natural, even without her magic, she flips herself quickly up into the trees, skating gracefully from tree to tree, almost a part of the forest itself in her fleeting movements and ability to blend in. Still, even when compared to Kurama's flaming locks, her entire body, luminescent and vibrant, could attract unwanted attention, despite her skill, and she moves a short way away from Tobias, Rama, and the others, not wanting to draw any attention to them in the unlikely event that she should be seen. ::

:: However, from her vantage point, she was much closer to whatever was approaching, capable of seeing whoever or whatever it was through a layer or foliage. She gestured towards the others, indicating for them to stay back, stay silent, and stay hiden ::

:: Euthalia heard the howl but payed no attention until Gossamer began to warn them about some big biting thing. She cut herself out of the cocoon with her dagger and quickly climbed up a tree wishing she could just fly. She climbed up to a high branch and sat down as still as she could, putting her head against the tree to camaflouge her brown hair as best she could. She looked down trying to see what Gossamer's commotion was about. What would they be up against? Was it a big threat? ::

*She listened to all the talking and began to hear howling sounds. She listened to Rama suggest them to move up into the trees and she nodded, running into a nearest one, scraping at the branches to climb up.*

"Don't have to tell me again."

*She hugged the trunk of the tree, not being seen that easily and held her breath, trying not to move as he watched the others, sending them messages.*

"Anyone see anything?"

The howling noises grow louder and everyone can only assume that whatever the creatures are that Gossamer fears so much are drawing closer. The howls suddenly stop and theentire forest becomes eerily silent. Nothing is making any noise whatsoever. It is Sydney who finally happens to see something beyond the fire's circle of light. Just briefly she sees a pair of yellow eyes reflecting the light of the fire. They are there and gone again so quicikly that a part of her doubts that she even saw them. In a hissing whisper she tells the others what she has seen, a pair of yellow eyes seemingly floating about 4 feet above the forest floor.
