Ororo's ghost story, part 3

D & B

While the festivities continued, Blaze sat perched upon one of the rounded bar stools. Quietly observing the 'common folk' as Morgan labeled them. Although her sister was right, she did feel sorry for most of them. Those who worked hard with balancing two to even three jobs just to pay their rent. While herself, Morgan, and Ava splurged luxuriously on designer brands and other state of the art gadgets.

Piercing verdant eyes would slither towards Haleigh and Nicolas. Even though she wasn't confrontational with Haleigh she didn't appreciate the comparison to a serial killer either. But rather than argue she ignored her. Unzipping her Coach bag for her LG Voyager, her manicured fingernail touched the screen to initiate a picture message.

Swiveling around in her chair she zoomed in to snap a few candid pictures of the 'common folk.' Her interests had peaked as Nicolas had led Haleigh to the dance floor. Clicking a picture of them she sent it to Morgan, knowing she'd just appreciate seeing that! A chuckle escaped her as she texted with a reply, 'Looks like your boy has a new flavor of the week.' Discreetly refraining from reiterating the catty remark Haleigh had spoken about her sister.

Not one of your best, Swanny. She thought to herself while the current song played smoothly throughout building.

Stepping down from her stool, Blaze gandered around at the crowd. It was really boring without the antics of Morgan and Ava. But Nicolas could be entertaining if she wanted to turn up the 'heat' for him. Strutting towards the dancing couple, Blaze would brush provocatively up against the wide expanse of Nicolas' spine while he faced Haleigh. Sandwiching him between two beautiful women.

Her fingernails would roam down his hips agonizingly slow. "So, whose your new playmate, Nicolas?" Inching her way in towards his earlobe to pluck it between her alabaster veneers with a wicked smirk. "Mmmm?" Roaming her hands around to ascend up his dress shirt towards his pectoral muscles.

Blaze's skin would slowly begin to rise in temperature. Fire and alcohol were never good combinations for a mutant. The frisky minx would continue to torment Nicolas until she firmly grabbed his crotch with a firm bite to his earlobe.

"Mmmm, I guess Morgan was right about you."

Cackling she spun away only to reappear behind Haleigh now, running her hands up and down her sides. Dipping her body down to the floor only to swirl her hips around until she pressed her chest into Haleigh's spine. Blaze was the type who enjoyed pushing the envelope, which she assumed Haleigh would be insulted by her decadent display of entertainment.

Nicolas gently touched her face, and Haleigh gave him a soft smile... but he lamented that her hesitation would always be between them. Haleigh shook her head, halfheartedly laughing.

Funny thing.... you men always seem to think if you can't have it right now, right away... then you'll never be able to have it. But it's not that, Nicolas.... it's just BAD timing, is all... I think you're RIGHT... I think we could be VERY good together... someday.... when the thought of loving someone new no longer feels like betrayal. You've had time to recover from the loss of your wife... time to grieve, time to let her go and move on. I still need that time. I know I can't ask you to wait... I wouldn't ask that... if you want to continue to.... have breakfast with Morgan... or any OTHER woman in this town.... you're a grown man, that's your choice, and it's not my place to say anything about it.

He pulled her out to the dance floor, and she smirked wickedly.

"I think I should advise you, Mr. King.... you're playing with fire here."

Morgan's sister snapped a phone picture of them, and Haleigh was instantly aware, but she didn't change her behavior... She began to dance with Nicolas, and for probably the first time he'd seen, she seemed carefree and relaxed.

"See, bad timing; even her SISTER is all over your business. I just don't have the patience to be trying to beat all these women away
from you with a stick. Are there no OTHER men in this town they can obsess over?"

But Blaze wasn't going to limit herself to stalker-like photography.... she wanted to be ALL UP IN THAT... and as Haleigh revolved and Nicolas danced behind her, Blaze practically MOLESTED him! Haleigh turned back around, and caught sight of Blaze groping him... she immediately stopped dancing.

"EXCUSE you--"

But Blaze was gone again... Haleigh was about to ask Nicolas if he was alright... when suddenly someone was grabbing HER! Haleigh got terrorizing flashes back tot he dead bodies that had attacked her yesterday and she reacted instinctively, whipping around and pulling her revolver out, aiming it dead between Blaze's eyes and cocking back on the hammer. It was a mere stroke of luck that Haleigh didn't fire right away... Haleigh still had the look of an animal cornered and defensive... like a tortured tiger just before busting out of its cage. Many in the crowd gasped... everyone stopped dancing and a lot of people scattered, though some merely backed away and stuck around to see what would happen. The music stopped instantly and the club fell silent. Haleigh's entire body was tense... it didn't even look like she was breathing... and her voice was a low, cautionary growl.

"Alright.... okay.... [breathing out slowly, beginning to look much calmer] let's just take it easy, shall we? Now.... I think you're being quite disrespectful here... if you wanted to dance... the polite thing to do is ask... you can't just SPRING yourself on people.... or else you get what we've got here... I'm a little on edge and you triggered a defensive reaction that nearly got you killed. [uncocking her pistol and lowering it slowly] Now, I can tell that your blood alcohol level is high enough to affect your judgement... but really now... it's common courtesy, you can't just go around violating everyone's personal space and fondling... I mean good GRIEF, we're practically strangers!"

and you're about to be "pratically" DEAD if you don't BACK OFF of my sister.

<< the tall, leggy socialite sharply retorted as she bust in between Blaze and Haleigh and shoves Haleigh back with such force [ indication that she was FAR stronger than she looked] that the shorter woman had no choice but to fall back into NICOLAS.>>

just WHO do you think you ARE? you...you...common TRASH! Putting that gun in my sister's face. Do you know who you're dealing with?

<< balling her hand into a fist...a halo of energy...dark magick, forms around it. it was obvious that Morgan was a little buzzed herself.>>

If you want Nicolas, you can have him for TONIGHT but understand THIS. WE << gesturing between herself, Ava and Blaze>> rule this town. We will be here LONG after you're gone and Nicolas isnt going to be going anywhere with you. You mess with one of us? You gotta deal with ALL of us and trust me...

<< she leans in close and ONLY to Haleigh and Nicolas does Morgan face appeared to be cloaked in shadow, save for her glowing white eyes.>>

You DON'T want it!

Smirking, Blaze had no real intention or any interest in Nicolas. He was the last person who she would seduce or allow herself to be seduced by. Not with the amount of women he went through and his flirtatious behavior with other women.

"I get that you're knew in town but just because a women grabs his package doesn't mean I'm interested. My sister is...although even that's debatable. I was simply looking for a little fun."

Yet, Blaze kept up her frisky antics while she had moved behind Haleigh. When the blonde spun around all too quickly, Blaze cocked a brow at the gun aimed in her direction. "Kinky, are you gonna tie me up too?" Shaking her head as Haleigh would try to explain her reasoning.

"That wasn't exactly the reaction I was aiming for. But you're obviously on edge as you said...so just put the gun down. I meant no harm or foul play on you or Nicolas. I was simply looking for a little fun...these parties are somewhat boring."

Flashing a smile, Blaze remained where she was. "I'm not apologizing for my behavior. And I wouldn't worry about Nicolas...he's a big boy..in more than one way." Winking his way but she would instinctively turn towards the blonde. "And how would you know my blood alcohol level? I've had one drink." Canting her head to the side, Blaze looked her over curiously.

Waving it off, "No matter, it doesn't matter. The point is I haven't harmed you in anyway or Nicolas. You've got your body in tact." Stepping closer to Haleigh as she whisper for her benefit. "A word of advise, don't ever pull a gun on me or I'll have you burned beyond recognition, are we clear?" Narrowing her eyes as a flicker of an animated shadow would morph along the ringlet of green. A sign that Blaze was not just a mere human. She was more so like the both of them with special 'gifts.'

"Let's simply call this a misunderstanding."

Just then Morgan would appear and instinctively step in front of Blaze. "Morgan, its all right." But the statuesque blonde would lash out at anyone attempting to threaten her baby sister. Stepping closer, Blaze's hand tenderly reached out to touch Morgan's bicep. "Its alright, Morg....we've all had a little to drink." Instinctively going into a mediation mode. Blaze had witnessed her sister's wraith on more than a few men who attempted to threaten her.

Nicolas smirked at Haleigh's comments about man's lack of patience. He responded tongue-in-cheek.

If it weren't so tempting, we wouldn't be so impatient. Very well, but it seems that you may have put me in a bit of a dry spell. No one will pursue me if they have to compete with THIS.

He pulled her onto the floor, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"I think I should advise you, Mr. King.... you're playing with fire here."

You don't scare ME, Ms. Davidoff. Shake ya ass!!!

Nicolas and Haleigh moved well together. He sensed Blaze but ignored her, thinking that would best send her away. Even as she felt him up, he was unaffected. Not until she grabbed his penis did he even flinch, and then only to speak to her telepathically.

Careful, firefly. That is more than you can handle by a lot. I am quite a bit more man than you are accustomed to. Why don't you just-

Suddenly, Haleigh pulled a firearm, and for a moment, Blaze was going to be shot. Nicolas erected a shield quickly and reached to separate the two as Haleigh got herself together. Too late, it seemed, as Morgan showed back up, giving Haleigh a warning as her hand started to glow with magic.

The crowd dispersed, sent back to their places telepathically by Nicolas as he stepped quickly between Haleigh and Morgan, grabbing Morgan's glowing fist. The smell of slowly burning flesh could be sensed by the ladies as Nicolas continued to stay the sorceress' hand. He spoke through gritted teeth, his anger rising a bit as his hand began to increase in force enough to get her attention. His own eyes began to glow red as his skin darkened a bit, and a marking appeared by his neck, glowing faintly.

Morgan...that's ENOUGH. I would never allow harm to any of you, you KNOW that. I believe that your mother is looking for you. How about you join her?

Nicolas' hand began to sizzle and smoke a bit, but he would not give in...in fact, he now seemed unaffected.

"Ugh..."

"I know a little bit more about you than you probably WANT me to, Blaze."

Her tone wasn't threatening... but it did sound like a warning.

"And I haven't harmed YOU either... though I certainly COULD have."

Blaze leaned in with a thinly veiled threat, but Haleigh fired right back, not even a little unsettled.

"A word in RETURN: You ought to be very CAREFUL who you wantonly violate.... you MIGHT find next time your victim has something a little more SPECIAL up their sleeve than just a 357.... if you catch my drift."

Blaze was ready to diffuse... and Haleigh was fine with that... if the woman wanted to back off, Haleigh wouldn't pursue it:

"Yes... a misunderstanding... we can call it that.... just so long as we understand each other NOW."

Morgan appeared and SHOVED Haleigh backwards... Haleigh was a little surprised... she was, after all, quite STRONG herself and had exceptional balance but this woman had tipped her backwards into Nicolas, who helpfully caught her.... and then tried to stand in the gap between the two women, but Haleigh put a hand on his forearm, staying him.

"No, Nicolas... it's alright... you don't have to do that. [her gaze shifting to Morgan's hand.... Haleigh's lips curved into an amused smile, her eyebrow perked as she [looked up at Morgan] That's cute.... you oughta do a Vegas show... it's way neater than pulling a rabbit out of a hat."

Undeniable, unabashed insolence. After everything she'd been through.... Haleigh wasn't intimidated by the Paris Hilton wannabe and she let it be known as she folded her arms across her chest.

"I can HAVE him? As if he's some piece of meat... Or a bicycle for you to loan out? You're a disgrace to self-respecting, equalitarian women everywhere. [as Morgan boasted that she ruled the town] Oh, is that so? Well then.... in THAT case.... I guess that means I'm here to introduce a little ANARCHY. After I'm gone? No no honey... you've got it WRONG.... I think I'll STICK AROUND a while."

Morgan leaned in, a warning.... wow, people in this town are REALLY into violating other's sense of personal space. No WONDER the corpses are so overbearing! The woman's face was enshrouded. Haleigh's bemused smile remained on her face... it truly looked as though she might chuckle.

"More parlor tricks, Princess? I bet you really use this one on Halloween, right? I'm sure it really frightens all the toddlers in town."

Morgan's sidekick took a chance to step in... and though there were SEVERAL smart remarks Haleigh could interject... she kept them to herself... Nicolas had stepped in for her and she didn't see any need to escalate things for HIM.... and besides... there was still the matter of the FOG and the anniversary... bigger things were brewing than this skirmish for the Alpha Female position... and Haleigh knew she didn't really have the luxury to hash this out here and NOW... if they were all still around after this was all over.... she might have the inclination LATER to pursue a suitable place in town hierarchy.

<< Even as Blaze and Ava attempted to calm Morgan, the witch was taken aback, momentarily as Nicolas stepped in between Haleigh and HERSELF. He GRABBED her fist with his own hand, immediately placing it in the midst of the halo of dark magick which began to burn at his flesh. was he CRAZY? For a moment she forgot just how....RESILENT he was. Haleigh defied her once again, talking about anarchy AND that she'd be sticking arounto which Morgan looked thoroughly pissed.>>

Oh is the stray animal looking for a home? Be carefull dear, you may become ROAD KILL before that happens. It's OBVIOUS that you're here for one thing, to get in Nicolas' pants. I guess his tastes for common trash is more deep than i thought, which means I'll have to reevaluate how often i spend time with him. after all, I am as beyond YOU as the human is beyond the amoeba so why would i WANT something or someone YOU find interesting?

<< for moments that seemed to pass SLOWLY, Morgan's icy violet eyes fixed on his hand gripping her fist and tightening. He was enduring the effect of the magick and trying to basically "strong arm" her into behaving...WRONG time for that! >>

If you want to play ROUGH, You should REMEMBER that I've been able to take you at your measure BEFORE.

But to stand here and try to chide me over....THAT??

Carefull Nicolas, you're TRUE COLORS are showing. You wouldnt want to SCARE the little cornpone away now would you?

Nicolas quickly relaxed a bit through conscious effort, reverting back to former form. He was still uncomfortable with an obvious darker side, and so he stepped back a bit as he watched her rant.

Just go Morgan...and be careful, ladies. We'll talk later.

It was obvious that the relationships in this town were extremely complicated at best...

Quietly observing the blonde, Blaze hadn't offered her name. How did she know it? She assumed Nicolas had informed her of it. Shrugging it off, she brushed off Haleigh's threat. Hostility obviously wouldn't get them any where other than into a big pissing match. And for Blaze she just wanted to have a little fun. Morgan was more of the confrontational type, which provided a balance of yin and yang between the sisters. Usually Morgan and Ava would provoke a fight and Blaze would try to interject by playing mediator between them.

Tonight was no different while Ava tried to pull Morgan away, offering her own little bit of tidbit. Shaking her head, she would peer at the forming crowd around them. "Nothing here to see people, move along." Waving her hand to usher them away. Nicolas bravely shielded Haleigh from Morgan's sinister wraith.

"Nicolas, get out of the way!"

Blaze snapped at him, the awful stench of burning flesh wafted through the area. If this situation wasn't contained it could get out of hand and that would be a catastrophe for everyone included. Haleigh would only spark Morgan's anger arguing that she would rebel.

"Everyone just chill."

But her words fell on deaf ears as Morgan shoved Nicolas away before walking away. Walking after Morgan, Blaze grabbed her sister's arm firmly.

"Hold it, Morg."

Staring into her sister's eyes before her complexion softened. "I appreciate that you backed me up back there....but it was a misunderstanding. And it wasn't her fault, she was just reacting to one of my more infamous dance routines."

Blaze glanced over to Ava now, "Try to make sure she behaves herself tonight...I don't want to have to bail you or her out of jail." Winking to them, Blaze removed her hand from Morgan's arm.

"I'll see you later, okay?"

Blaze disliked seeing her sister upset and one of the easiest ways to provoke Morgan's wraith was to threaten or attack Blaze.

"Try to make sure she behaves herself tonight...I don't want to have to bail you or her out of jail."

"Like a jail would be able to hold us."

:: Smirking at Blaze knowing she would realize Ava was referring to Morgan's stepping discs, the brunette took Morgan by the arm and escorted her away from Haleigh and Nicolas. ::

"Don't let those two ruin this evening. We're here to celebrate, so lets just forget about them and head to the town square to meet up with your mother?"

leaving D&B heading downtown

That bitch doesnt know who she's dealing with.

<< Morgan said with such icy contempt as Blaze and Ava rallied around her. Blaze continued to calm her sister down. >>

I'll snap that little twit in TWO. She just doesnt KNOW.

<< As Blaze asked Ava to keep an eye on Morgan, the sorceress rolled her eyes. smirking as Ava dismissed the idea of any jail being able to hold them. She was right.>>

<< as she walked away, she turned around and glared at Nicolas.>>

and if Nicolas thinks I'm worried about him and his "captain save a ho" bravado, he better think again. I'll show him what a TRUE exorcism is all about.

Yes....yes, let's NOT promote premature aging and wrinkles on account of those two ragamuffin roaches.

<< she winks at Ava.>>

you know...even though I'm buzzed, I just didnt appreciate that bitch pointing a gun in Blaze's face. I mean..what the fuck was THAT about? Did she not realize that you, Blaze and myself MORE than out powered her?

and Nicolas? I think maybe Blaze was right. I'm CAVIAR and he's...nothing more than well packaged GROUND BEEF. Any man who would defend that trash against me is OBVIOUSLY posessed of poor judgement and NOT worth my time.

<< she looks at Ava.>>

what do YOU think?

and if Nicolas thinks I'm worried about him and his "captain save a ho" bravado, he better think again. I'll show him what a TRUE exorcism is all about.

Whoops...forgot to shudder. Just go Morgan. Your EGO is already there.

As Morgan stormed out, Ava in tow, Nicolas turned back to Haleigh. By now, he was clearly pissed, his calm demeanor having had it up to here with the trio.

You would think she had actually accomplished something with a mouth like that. She's not nearly enough like her MOTHER, someone who actually managed to make men see her BRAIN. Despite her horizontal...abilities, it is obvious that she is a shallow brat. It takes away from her looks. God help her when Ava wakes up and realizes that she is the better looking of the two and she doesn't need her. Even the sex isn't worth all of this shit.

Nicolas did, however, make sure they arrived safely in the parking lot by the ceremony. He decided to have a little fun of his own, with the pair being none the wiser.

As Morgan and Ava sat in the car upon their arrival, a large four-inch Palmetto bug (ROACH!) crawled up the side of the car and jumped, fluttering down from the sky and landing on Morgan's bosom...

Haleigh noticed Morgan calling attention to Nic's 'true colors'... and Haleigh had been too distracted by Morgan to see it previously.... Nicolas' skin had darkened... there was some kind of marking showing, but it faded as Nicolas realized it was exposed. Haleigh said nothing aloud, as Morgan seemed to hint that she should be afraid...

It's alright, Nicolas.... I'm not frightened. When we were linked... I got a glimpse... a shadow of darkness in you. I know you vehemently suppress it... you don't have to explain it... when you're ready... I'll listen. I mean.... after all... YOU know that I had a recent episode of antisocial psychosis in which I killed several people in coldblood, with unchartable apathy... AND you know that any day, by the slightest provacation, I might once again snap and go on a nigh unstoppable murdering rampage. Your.... 'true colors' can't REALLY be much worse than that, right?

Morgan continued her big bad bitch routine and stormed off. After a heated exchange, only Nicolas and Haleigh were left in the middle of a vacated dance floor. Nicolas took the chance to vent... and Haleigh frowned, her brow slightly furrowed as she grabbed him by the wrist [careful not to touch his injured hand] and led him back over to the bar. She ordered two glasses, and a bottle of their finest scotch. First Things First:

"Let me see your hand, Nicolas."

She discreetly placed a small metallic container on the bartop, which contained basic first aid and a few convenient extras; she withdrew a roll of bandage and a canister. As she caught him eyeing it:

"Topical Lidocaine. It'll numb the pain."

Nicolas would be able to determine that she had extensive Combat Medic training AND that she wouldn't take no for an answer... but she didn't halt the conversation... she could talk and treat his wound at the same time.

"Morgan's behavior may very well be nothing more than an ACT or a defensive front to protect her from having to deal with more people than she's comfortable with. Money brings with it a neverending expanse of freeloaders. By beign a complete bitch she discourages leeches from attaching to her. That being said... I still feel there is a very strong indication of a person's character in observation of how they treat complete strangers... especially those they think are inferior.... and Morgan was unnecessarily cruel way BEFORE I pulled a gun on her sister. [pausing sheepishly] I'm sorry I overreacted. All these reanimating corpses have me on pins and needles. but really.... is that how this town treats each other-- by randomly groping strangers? You weren't very surprised when Blaze GRABBED you... she said she wasn't interested in you... and maybe I'm just old fashioned or something but in my opinion, there ain't NO reason to be grabbing the family jewels if you aren't interested in taking them home."

Haleigh, the truth is I DON'T KNOW how bad it could be.

Nicolas used his mind to edit the last few moments for the gathered crowd so as to seem as any other lover's quarrel, with the people slowly filing back out to dance as Haleigh walked to a table with him.

"Let me see your hand, Nicolas."

It's OK, it doesn't hurt and it'll be fine in a few mom-

But she was determined to mother him, even explaining to him the usage for Lidocaine as she treated his hand, which she would notice was getting better by the second. As she worked, she tried to explain for Morgan and her behavior. He shook his head slowly, still miffed about the situation.

I understand that she tries to keep away some of the people here with her attitude, especially the men. But you always hope that that when you spend time with someone, you don't end up treated like "every other man". When we are alone, she treats me quite well, and its not all sexual. But around her GIRLS...she can't admit than a MAN has ANY importance, any value. As for Blaze, she just wanted to pull your chain, and she figured the best way was to pull...for lack of a better word, MY chain. The part about about rubbing you? You just look REALLY good.

Nicolas hand, nearly healed by now, grasps Haleigh's.

Thanks for babying me in front of the entire town. Now if we make this, I just need you to tuck me in.

Nicolas chuckles, rubbing gently the hand he has captured as he take a drink...

"I think you worry way too much about Nicolas King. He's not worth your time and energy. And honestly, do you want to give him all that power over you? Just forget about him and his new girlfriend for now. We have some celebrating to do!"

:: Ava was known for being a party girl, a bitch, a rich socoilite, and most notably, promiscuous. But being level headed was surely something most people wouldn't think Ava to be. In the beginning going head to head with Nicolas and his blonde friend was fun. Then it got old. And once something got old to Ava she didn't want to continue paying any attention to it. So as the two woman finally made their way to the town square, she hoped that Morgan would just let it go so they could have some fun again. ::

"Don't make me go all bitchy Ava on you! Cause I will if you don't wipe that angry pout off your face and start having some fun young lady!"

:: Smirking to her friend, finally Morgan seemed to lighten up....until a vistor landed on her chest. Cracking a smile, Morgan hated bugs and reptiles. Ava, not to much. So it was actually pretty entertaining seeing her friend's reaction. Laughing out loud, Ava lifted her hands trying to calm Morgan down. ::

[between her laughs] "Stop. Stop...just hold still. I'll get it."

:: Her eyes were teared up from the hysterics of it all, but she managed to capture the roach and let it out her window. ::

"You should of seen your face. [still cracking up] Priceless...." :p

D & B bathroom

With the spectacle over, most of the crowd had dispersed around the room. Although some curious bystanders still crowded around Morgan, Ava, and Blaze. Which they paid for it dearly with a forceful shove by Morgan. Shaking her head, Blaze bit back a smile having bid Morgan and Ava a goodbye. At times Morgan was a little too protectively of Blaze. Something that could be a blessing or a curse under the right situation.

Having departed for the ladies room, Blaze turned to lock the door. Checking the various stalls she hiked up her alabaster skirt to pluck a combat knife from her matching garter belt. With a quick slice she created a slit in the side of the dress. Sliding the knife right back into place she turned towards the mirror to tame her wild locks. Reaching inside her clutch for her lipstick to re-apply it before a knock resounded at the door.

Rolling her eyes she freshened up before strutting towards the door, unlocking it to see a brawny gentlemen standing there with deep cerulean eyes. "Are you alright?"

"What is it with everyone thinking they need to protect me."

Blaze mumbled under her breath while the dark haired gentlemen frowned. "I'm sorry wh-?"

"Just shut up and get in here!"

Yanking him on the black designer tie with a forceful tug of her svelte curves he stumbled in while shoving the door closed. Fiercely crashing her lips to his own while his strong arms scooped her up within his arms. The two would crash onto the marble countertop with a grunt as her manicured fingers were yanking onto his short coffee hair.

"Wow! I only came to see if you were okay."

The kiss was abruptly broken while he gasped for air. Sighing under her breath, Blaze looked him over before locking with his gaze.

"Look, I get that most men like to have their ego stroked. But I'm not here to coddle you. I just wanna have a little..."

Pausing to slither her hands down his tie towards his belt line. When he grasped her hands together tightly with a look of determination in her eyes.

"No! I know who your sister is and I'd prefer not to be castrated."

A quick flicker would ignite behind the green irises of Blaze's eyes before she forcefully shoved him backwards towards one of the vacant stalls. Pinning him there while turning and locking the door. Yanking on his tie forcefully while her body would rise in temperature.

"You should really be less worried about my sister and a little more worried about me! Because while my sister may be a mountain lion, I'm about as vicious as a tiger!"

Yanking his crisp white dress shirt open which caused the buttons to fly across the stall. Blaze leaned in closer to whisper closely into his ear. "If you thought Morgan was bad...you ain't seen nothing yet!" A swift cackle escaped her lungs.

"I think you worry way too much about Nicolas King. He's not worth your time and energy. And honestly, do you want to give him all that power over you? Just forget about him and his new girlfriend for now. We have some celebrating to do!"

<< right again as usual.>>

Right again, as usual, Ava. Gawd I don't know why i let that boy get to me. I guess everyone has their weakness eh? He's supposed to be one of US and yet he's ALWAYS acting like he has something to proove by hob knobbing with the common people.

<< primping in the mirror of her visor and reapplying her sparkling lip gloss.>>

that stupid cow[Haleigh]. she looked like a made up pig in a designer blanket with that dress she had on...

Ava said:
Don't make me go all bitchy Ava on you! Cause I will if you don't wipe that angry pout off your face and start having some fun young lady!"

<< Morgan laughed a bit as she looked bemused towards Ava.>>

Girl, that's just your excuse to touch me. You know, i've ALWAYS suspected that you were secretly playing for Blaze's team too!

<< a catty joke in retort to Ava, whose ploy to get Morgan to lighten up and move on was working until....a tingle on her bosom...>>

Hmmm?

<< she looks down...and ...>>

oh my goddess....a ROAGH!?

<< her voice instantly reaching a shrieking tone as her eyes widened with utter dismay and she began to SCREAM and holler, flailing about and nearly CRASHING up through the roof of her own luxury jaguar.>>

AGGHHHHH!!! GET IT OFF! KILL IT! GET IT OFF!! KILL IT! OMYGOD!!!

<< Morgan was going BALLISTIC.>>

Ava said:
Morgan hated bugs and reptiles. Ava, not so much.

<< Morgan slumped into her seat...exhaling in disbelief.>>

where the HELL did it come from!? I don't have roaches in my car!

Ava said:
"You should of seen your face. [still cracking up] Priceless...."

<< Morgan snapped her glare at Ava with a "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" expression in her icy violet eyes. >>

oh...just...shut up and get out of the car!

<< she huffed as she hurried out of the car and slammed the door with irritation. AGAIN checking herself in the reflection of the window. She didnt realize that her little friend NICOLAS was responsible for this and lucky for him, otherwise she'd remind him why Lorenna Bobbit was one of the most feared women in america! :fdevil:>>

<< smoothing her dolce & gabanna dress and shaking herself off, she looked over the roof of the car at Ava as she grabbed her white satin clutch with platinum buckle.>>

thank you for getting that THING off of me! gawd how i HATE insects!

<< walking along with her toward the town square.>>

and NOT A WORD about this to anyone!

<< the two socilates walked along, soon their steps fell in synch as their high heels clicked along the cobble stoned street of the town square>>

<< Morgan dismissively waved away an usher as she and Ava strode right to the front of the group, both women taking their spots in the first row as everyone was slowly getting settled and Karen was about to begin.>>

and so

<< and so, as Morgan and Ava slipped in just in the nick of time, Thunder Bay's "Silver Swan" alerted all her listeners that the ceremony and unveiling of the statue in the town square was about to begin and thus, her live simulcast radio mix would be ending, but she'd still be playing music and some updates until midnight. Her broadcast would now by heard on radios and in Donder & Blitzen only while Karen took the stage in the town square.>>

<< the drama at D&B would no doubt be talked about by those who had witnessed it for days to come...that is IF they didnt become preoccupied with something even MORE shocking later this evening, but for now...the bar was definately in a less festive mood. people were clustered to themselves at tables, the bar counter or elsewhere. some where staring at Haleigh. Many of whom had seen her pull a gun on Blaze.>>

<< whispers about her could be heard, including some saying they hoped Morgan would "kick her ass". Even the staff of the bar was reluctant to serve her now. This was the OTHER side of Thunder Bay, the "cliquish" "exclusive" mentality. But Haleigh wanted to remain so whatever painfull transitions that came, she'd have to endure them. The evening was FAR from over for her, Nicolas, or her newly found enemies.>>

<< and so, as Karen addresses the crowd, a breeze softly whistles in the air. it is now night time and as we zoom away from the town square, through the roads, around trees and towards the waters of Arklay Pointe, we see the light house, and beyond that, the dark waters of the ocean.>>

<< the fog is forming, close to the surface of the water, licking upward like mist but it moves along, almost sneaking....and the closer it gets to the land, the denser and more bold it becomes. Almost as if it is TRYING to slip past Sharon and for the moment, it does just that. no one is aware of it just yet.>>

<< and so we watch.>>

Arklay Lighthouse

[ at the Arklay Lighthouse, Thunder Bay's "Silver Swan" was spinning and lighting the way into the night. She was unaware of the drama that unfolded and all but wrecked the atmosphere she had helped to create at Donder & Blitzen, but all she could do was keep on doing what she did best.]

on the air: Happy Birthday, Thunder Bay! Silver Swan's party mix has come to a close. Mayor Karen Victoria will be addressing those of you at the townsquare while those of you elsewhere in the town or at Donder & Blitzen will have a little more time to spend with me as we head toward the midnight hour. I hope you're enjoying yourselves as much as I am.

I'm gonna wind things down now, so stay cool, stay calm and enjoy the evening my lovelies.

[just for tonight by Vanessa L. Williams begins to play as Sharon closes the channel...she happens to look out to see and sees...]

the fog!

[ her private line rings.]

RSK Radio?

Carl: Sweet Sharon?

Sharon: CAN IT, CARL!

[ she snaps...]

Carl: that's no way to treat a man who has a gift for you.

Sharon: *sigh* Carl, what could you POSSIBLY have for me?

Carl: I've got a fog bank on the radar. coming in fast.

Sharon: i can see the fog myself. it's coming in...from the west, moving against the wind! what kind of fog moves against the wind??

Carl: You got me....

Sharon: I'm not sure i WANT you. You're the meterologist...can't you give me MORE than this?
