“Oh, god, let’s not cook. Too much work. And you didn’t disturb me at all. I just want to make sure Cameron knows if he messes with you, he answers to ME.”

Arriving at her door, Delilah held it open for Alycia.

“You go ahead and shower and get ready. I’ll take you to Milk for breakfast, and then you can tell me what happened to Blaze.”

Sounds good to me.

::Alycia said with a smile as she walked into Delilah's apartment. She turned back to look at Delilah, that smile now somewhat crooked with a glint in her hazel eyes.::

Oh and just so you know, I totally appreciate your concern.

:: Nodding to the general direction of where they'd been outside of the apartment, toward CAMERON::

Cameron and I have been down a long, TWISTED road over the years. Things really changed for us...

:: unwrapping the towel from around her feminine form::

That weekend I spent at his cliff side villa in the Pacific Pallisades when I was working on his estate papers. I was rather mortified to learn that he passed his journal, which detailed some of those changes, to Alison.

I know you, Morgan, Blaze and a few others "heard" about it. Blaze was not so subtle in reminding us about it at Minerva's Mansion during the downtime after the Blue Moon.

I'm having fun with him now. He's not the same scrawny, annoying, arrogant, INFURIATING, mess of a boy he used to be. He's changed, just as I have and I'm enjoying the..."discovery process"

::Winking at Delilah as she makes a play on an old legal term::

But let's be clear on something.

:: looking a bit serious for a moment::

If Cameron DOES revert to type or try mess with/humiliate me? He won't be CONSCIOUS by the time you get to him, let alone have all his teeth.

:: Nodding and winking at Delilah, then laughing a bit::

I'll see you in a bit, Delilah!

:: and with that, Alycia turns a corner, heading down the hall to the guest bedroom to grab her shower caddy and then disappears into the bathroom to shower and refresh herself::

Cameron said:
[smirking]

"Well, from what I heard coming from her bedroom last night, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't take the day off as well!"

Blaze lifted her eyebrows and mouthed "Oh?" as Cameron commented on Sally Spectra's salacious activities. She then shot a smirk back at Cameron.

"And you call US nosy? Show us how THAT'S DONE, dear!"

Cameron said:
"Yeah, that was a little odd. I haven't seen him since he took a chair to my head in the courtyard before the Viper caper!"

He began to fiddle around with things in the kitchen, helping himself to various pots and pans.

Blaze set the kitten down on a plush pillow in a decorative chair nearby, before seating herself at one of the bar seats looking through the breakfast/kitchen window and watching Cameron make himself at home in Morgan's kitchen.

" It's easy to forget that he's been here pretty much all this time. I know Cass is a bit standoffish, but what about Zach? I mean hasn't he even SLEPT with more than one person on this team? It's a little late for him to try to act all "REMOVED" now! Maybe he's afraid he has more in common with a few others around here and that might cause him to STRAY?"

Blaze paused...

"I think you're using those kitchen utensiles more than Morg ever does..."

The fire elemental snickers a bit, knowing what Morgan would have to say. But there was something kind of cute watching him be so efficiently domestic right now. This reminded her of HER timeline's Cameron too.

Cameron said:
"Which reminds me? Haleigh Davidoff appears to be back in town. I sensed her last night at Melrose Place, and security at the Partenon alerted me that she was there, most likely visiting Ava..."

Cameron turned on the gas stove as he uncorked a bottle of champagne, filling two flutes for them, and then topping them off with some delicious fresh acai berries.

"Yeah...I actually heard her, and Alycia and Delilah having what sounded like some heavy words yesterday when I came home from Spectra, after that disaster with Nigel Barker...."

::Sigh!::

"But I just didn't care to be bothered. Especially since Delilah was there. I was already a meltdown mess after the fuckery at Spectra."

Blaze thought for a moment after she said that, she hadn't really told anyone other than Nicolas about the encounter she'd had with Delilah and even with him, she was vague about the details.

Cameron said:
"Nice of her to say hello, eh? I'm sure she is trying to figure out what's happened since she has been off working for the government..."

[he stopped for a moment]

"Yeah it HAS been kind of anti-climatic, how she handled her return, considering how noticeable and unhelpful her absence was during the last few capers...the BLUE MOON in particular...but maybe she had pressing reasons. If there's one thing about this timeline's Haleigh that I've seen to be consistent with my own timeline's it's that she IS, at her core and in her heart of hearts, LOYAL to her team and considers them FAMILY. She'll go to hell and BELOW to protect and hold it together. BUT she's also the kind of person that makes you wish you DIDN'T have family sometimes."

Laughing a bit.

::sigh::

"I had a great relationship with Haleigh in my time...but here, she keeps me at a distance. I think she doesnt want to see me for the key differences I have from your Blaze because it's easier for her to continue to look down on and underestimate the image of HER Blaze than to accept and change her view regarding ME. But I told her during the Barbas caper, different isnt always BAD...it iust IS. I want a better friendship with her, but I won't beg or chase after her for it. "

"Whatever she's up to, I hope she takes time to reconnect. Nobody's place is cemented or set in stone around here...even you "Original founders" have learned that."

Cameron said:
"But ANYWAY...I woke up this morning...went for a run in the canyon, burned a few calories in the pool with Alycia and I thought...what BETTER way to jumpstart this day than to start drinking some champagne and eating food that negates all the work i've put in!"
[handing her a champagne flute]

"Well you know, there's nothing wrong with a lil drinky poo! It's ALWAYS "after 5" somewhere!"

She happily receives her first flute of champagne

Cameron said:
"I hope you like Eggs Florentine..Sometimes, the chefs at Ambrosia let me play in the kitchen..It never hurts to learn a few signature dishes..."

[taking a long sip from his champagne flute]

"I hope you are ready for today Blaze...because it's definitely going to kick your ass..in a good way. I know how you like it rough."

"Eggs Florentine..."

Gulping down some champange

"...Some champagne AND some rough play?"

"Oh Cameron, you really know how to show a girl a good time!"

She reaches over and cups his chin in her hand, making a kissy face and flicking her tongue out suggestively

"Is Alycia going to watch...or JOIN IN?"

Smiling wickedly at Cameron as she playfully and lightly pushes his face away, knowing he was only half joking...and so was she! maybe! :D

Cameron said:
Cameron winked at her. He was trying to connect with Blaze Victory the way he had been able to with Blaze Fielding at times. They always enjoyed a playful relationship and with THIS Blaze he felt a little more of a kinship to for whatever reason. He was hoping to bridge the gap and find a unique way to connect with her, get her feeling at home...

"Oh...take a look in that bag over there. I got you a little something..."

He motioned to one of the green canvas bags that he brought with him. In it she would find a picture in a frame. It was of "her" and Cameron at a random party in New York. Both of them were...incredibly inebriated from the looks of the photo but it was clear that the two were heavy an equally INCREDIBLE time. It was one of Cameron's favorite.

She slid off the bar chair and went over to one of the green canvas bags, pulling out the picture! Her apple green eyes widen as she stood motionless for a moment.

Cameron said:
"I figured every place needs a picture of Cameron King in it...and since Morgan and I only just RECENTLY came to the friendship we have now, I figure this place is seriously lacking..."

She ran her finely manicured nails over the glace free of the frame, tracing a circle around the image of "HER" and Cameron, then finally resting her finger on "HERSELF"

She's me....I'm her...SHE'S ME! There are some differences, mostly cosmetic...but even from this image of her, i can feel that she had passion and zest for life...for FUN..

As she stared into the picture, she could almost HEAR what the sounds and voices must have been like in that moment now forever captured in time. Psychometry wasn't part of her power, but she had a VIVID eye for imagination that went along with her "BEYOND baseline human" perception of certain things.

Cameron said:
Cameron began to craft the bernaise sauce as he walked over to her and held the picture for a moment.

"That was taken a few years ago...It was the first gay club you ever took me to! You got us wasted off of lemon drop shots and I think we won a DANCE competition. The whole night is a blur but SOMEHOW...we managed to take that picture...It's one of my favorites...but I wanted you to have it."

He gave her a knowing look, but he said nothing. There would be plenty of time later for deep heart to hearts and intense conversations. It was the morning, and there were mimosas to drink!

...

"hmmm... "

She looked up to catch that knowing look from Cameron with a curious glint in her apple green eyes.

"You've definitely surprised me with this."

Returning her gaze to the picture.

Cameron said:
"Now, are you just going to sit there and admire how photogenic I am or are you going to drink that champagne down? I'm hoping to polish it off before the rest of these lushes smell the booze and come crawling up the stairs!"

He gave her a cheers moment, before clinking their glasses together and downing the rest of the champagne in his glass.

"Oh!" rolling her eyes "what.EVERRRR!"

Blaze waved her hand and dismissed Cameron's oversized VANITY and ego :p as she snapped out of her gaze on the picture and moved over to the dining room table where Cameron had set out the food and drinks.

"You're HARDLY the object of my admiration, honey. Don't get me confused with Alycia...OR Dominique!"

She replied with a faux snappy tone, sticking her tongue out with a laugh.

They clinked their glasses together for a cheers moment.

"Yes, let's hurry up and drink this bubbly. I'll share many things...but a drink is NOT one of them. Plus, I might NEED to be loosened up, knowing YOU and what you might have in store for me. I'm trusting you Cam....don't make me melt your hot ass before Alycia can wax it!"

"That IS a nice picture, Cam. I must say...it's one of the first I've seen of..."ME" that didnt seem to have some negative backstory to it. And I've certainly been known to haunt a club or two...gay or straight. The only thing more fun than burning some evil ass on the battlefield ...is smacking some hot ass at the club!"

"So...after our little pow wow here...what do you have in store for me today? I want to be sure I'm dressed appropriately for the occassion"

NYC - Upper West Side to The Parthenon

Simon Pratt had kept to himself for the last twenty four hours. Ever since his meeting with Cameron King, he felt a little off. Instead he barricaded himself in his penthouse, drank a few bottles of "Le Pin" (his favorite red wine), enjoyed some vintage recordings of "Don Gionvanni" (his favorite opera) and for the most part tried to relax against the startling discovery that somebody in this town, let alone his BOSS knew that he was in fact a mutant. Mostly, he was pissed that he was now under the reign of some ex-orphan with a chip on his shoulder. But as long as Cameron kept his secret and helped him out, Simon would remain loyal...or at least he hoped. He never was very good at keeping promises.

As night slowly turned into morning, Simon managed to get a few hours of sleep in on his couch before begrudgingly and slowly making his way to the shower as the sun began to shine through the glass walls of his penthouse. After a much needed and long shower, Simon began his systematic getting ready process. He would have gone to the gym, but today he just didn't feel like it, which was rare for him. Say what they may about Simon Pratt, nobody could deny that he wasn't an accomplished athlete. A nationally ranked archer and fencer, Simon loved spending hours training for events back in the day, and now sometimes he even taught classes, if only to appease his mother's desire to see him in the paper doing something other than getting drunk and causing trouble.

Quite some time later, the elevator doors dinged and Simon stepped out of his apartment building and into a private town car which took him to The Parthenon Hotel. Simon had to admit that The Parthenon was quickly becoming a gem of sorts for the city. Everybody was trying to get a table at one of the restaurants, trying to shop at the boutiques (which required a room key to even have access to, allowing for a more private experience) or stay in one of the rooms. Cameron may not have been his favorite person at the moment, but even he couldn't deny the magnitude of success The Parthenon Brand was having.

He slowly made his way through the revolving doors, down the lobby hall and into the reception of Ambrosia restaurant. This was the flagship restaurant for The Parthenon and would be at every location. A five star chef, a fusion of greek food with local favorites, it was hard to beat in this town. Simon stepped up to the host podium.

Host: Ah hello, Mr. Pratt! You're usual table?

Simon was about to answer when he spotted her out of the corner of his eye. Ava Cassadine. Now, Simon was all about luck, chance encounters and random series of events. It was simply the world he lived in, but to be in the same vicinity as Ava Cassadine, twice in two days? Well that was something else altogether.

"No, thank you. I am actually here to meet a friend..."

He smiled to himself as he made his way over to the table that Ava was sitting at, busily looking through work e-mails and sat down with a smile.

"I'm glad you already got us a table, I was a little worried. It gets a little busy here pre-afternoon since every New Yorker is looking for the Perfect Brunch spot. Did you order already? They have an amazing smoked applewood hash! Oh waiter!"

[flagging down a waiter]

"Can I get a Mimosa please, but not the well champagne. We'll use exclusively the Krug Brut Vintage 1988 from now on..and go ahead and refill her glass with the same."

[winking at Ava]

"There's never excuse to drink well versions of ANYTHING..."

The waiter nodded and quickly returned with two fresh mimosas as Simon began to scour his menu, knowing full well Ava was having one of those "what the fuck moments".

"So...how was your morning? Better now I hope since I saved you from $8 champagne?"

Melrose Place - Apartment #4

The two were thoroughly enjoying themselves thus far getting caught up on all the gossip and other news that was already floating around The Six which they BOTH knew didn't take long.

Blaze said:
"And you call US nosy? Show us how THAT'S DONE, dear!"

"I can't...[hand dramatically over his head] Oh the trials and tribulations of being a TELEPATH!"

Blaze said:
"It's easy to forget that he's been here pretty much all this time.

Cameron laughed.

"Actually, Blaze...it's pretty easy...and FUN to forget that he has been here all this time. And don't you know by now? Zach is untouchable. He can pretty much do anything he wants to anybody and he gets away with it...Me, well...I get encased in tombs of amber and have my skeleton removed...Not that I didn't deserve that...just MERELY pointing something out..."

[thinking about Cass for a moment]

"And Cassandra will come around...I mean, I can't imagine what she's suffered..but even still, she better do so soon, I can tell that people are losing their patience with her. She's a sweet girl..."

[turning to Blaze]

"Yeah...come to think of it...I have NEVER seen Morgan cook in my life. She must have found some 'other' way to Nicolas' heart!" [laughs]

Blaze said:
"Yeah it HAS been kind of anti-climatic, how she handled her return, considering how noticeable and unhelpful her absence was during the last few capers...the BLUE MOON in particular...but maybe she had pressing reasons. If there's one thing about this timeline's Haleigh that I've seen to be consistent with my own timeline's it's that she IS, at her core and in her heart of hearts, LOYAL to her team and considers them FAMILY. "Whatever she's up to, I hope she takes time to reconnect. Nobody's place is cemented or set in stone around here...even you "Original founders" have learned that."

"Well...that's just Haleigh. I mean...it's not like we could have expected a "Welcome Home" party from her...it's not her style. And hey, coming from somebody who was absent more times than I am proud of from this team...it's really not easy coming back no matter how you do it..."

thinking for a second.

"She is DAMN loyal...and I'm pretty sure that's what those words you heard last night were about...Delilah probably [air quoting]"filled her in" on things and Alycia arrived at the perfect moment to hear Haleigh's reaction...I've "spoken" to my sister...Haleigh is on Aerie with her..."

[laughing at Blaze's last part]

"That's really not it Blaze. Haleigh loves you...but if you haven't noticed...Haleigh keeps EVERYBODY at a distance...physically or metaphorically..Just look at her relationship with Zach. He cheats on her, she cheats on him..It's this lovely thing that's been 'created' so that the relationship stays at a standstill, and both are too scared to actually bring it up and talk about it...It's just Haleigh's WAY...I can't speak to how she is in different timelines, but here..if you want Haleigh...you've got to take her in the pieces she gives, when she wants to give them..."

He made sure to make no mention of the relationship HE had with Haleigh. Now THAT was a fucked up one. But frankly, he had spent so much time talking about it in the past that the only person he EVER planned on talking about it EVER again with was HALEIGH and even THAT seemed nauseating at the moment, probably for BOTH of them...Mostly, he just wanted his friend back at this point. Anything else at the moment...he wasn't looking for.

Blaze said:
"Eggs Florentine..."

Smiling wickedly at Cameron as she playfully and lightly pushes his face away, knowing he was only half joking...and so was she! maybe!

"Come on...they don't call me the 'Penultimate Playboy of NYC' for nothing! I got MOVES, Victory!"

[laughing out loud at her Alycia comment]

"Are you joking me? You think I'm gonna let you anywhere CLOSE to Alycia in that way? I'm not about to lose ANOTHER woman to you! It's not often we've 'competed' for a woman, but when we do!? Somehow the fiery charms of Blaze always seems to give you the EDGE!"

He tinged! their glasses together once more. Cameron was having QUITE the good time with Blaze!

Next she finally found the picture of them that he had brought and he was relieved that she enjoyed it!

Blaze said:
"Oh!" rolling her eyes "what.EVERRRR!"

Blaze waved her hand and dismissed Cameron's oversized VANITY and ego as she snapped out of her gaze on the picture and moved over to the dining room table where Cameron had set out the food and drinks.

"So...after our little pow wow here...what do you have in store for me today? I want to be sure I'm dressed appropriately for the occassion"

"Oh Please? You think Alycia and Dominique would have let me talk this much mess yet without SMACKING me?" [laughs]

They both downed their glasses of champagne as Cameron poured them BOTH another glass and began to start the process of poaching the eggs for them, while the spinach was being cooked on a saucepan to the side.

"Honey, your work in the club scene is LEGENDARY! You don't just HAUNT a club, you POSSESS it!"

[thinking for a moment about her inquiry as to the days events]

"Well, let's just say it's going to be FUN...Definitely nighttime attire...Though, we WILL be in NYC by the late afternoon and spend the night there...So don't worry too much about clothing..Sally pulled several options herself and put them in your Penthouse at The Parthenon.."

[looking at her a little more seriously]

"Basically, we [Nicolas and I] wanted to show you just how much you DO belong here, so we came up with a little tour of sorts, to show you the places and the memories we have of you in the city...and it all ends with a big old surprise at the END...we just want to make sure you don't decide to jump ship and leave us again anytime soon, dear...."

Though the comment was serious, it didn't have much weight behind it. It was a little deadpan. He didn't necessarily want to kill the move, but to let her know that he was still a little bit worried.

"God, this sauce is taking forever...Would you mind getting the english muffins out of that bag and slicing them for me? Shouldn't take too much longer..."

The Danger Room

HAHA!!!

Nicolas erupted in laughter as the young lady ran away from him. He broke into a pursuing sprint, the two of them running faster than any human ever has as he catches up and taps her shoulder. As she looked over the tapped shoulder he ran over to the other side and tickled her behind the ear, then ran just SLIGHTLY ahead, laughing....

C'mon slowpoke!! The bay around this next ridge is AMAZING!!

"HEY!"

:: She laughed as Nicolas pulled ahead in that one moment of being caught by surprise. She quickened her pace and kept in time with Nicolas as they ran and ran and ran. She could feel herself sweating and that, to her, was a GOOD thing. ::

"Oh my gosh, this is EXACTLY what I needed!!"

:: She grinned at her surroundings. She was amazed at the Danger Room's capabilities. It was nice to know it could provide a peaceful atmosphere as well as battle exercises and the like. She really DID feel as if she were on a beach in Fiji!! ::

Melrose Place to Milk

When Alycia was ready to go, they jumped into Delilah's car for the ten minute drive to Beverly Boulevard. Delilah parked on the street around the corner, and they went inside MILK and sat at a table for two. Delilah waited until she was picking at a Blueberry Tartine to broach the first subject she wanted to discuss with Alycia.

"So..."

[licking her fingers]

"What's going on with Blaze that no one's told me about?"

She smiled in an "the jig's up" sort of way. It's not that she was MAD at Alycia, but for chrissake, when would they learn? Now that whatever it was was CLEARLY over, it was past time for somebody to fess up.

L.A.- milk

:: Alycia sat across from Delilah, happily enjoying a california chicken salad and strawberry lemonade.::

It's nice to be able to enjoy these little eateries around town and not be in a rush to some meeting or deposition...OR to have really worry about be recognized.

Delilah said:

Hmmmm?

::Looking over to Delilah for a moment::

Oh! Well...I guess no one DID tell you, did they?

It all happened rather quickly, from the party up toyesterday....

:: She said, thinking about the way it DID unfold yesterday. She paused. She kept drifting betwen Blaze and Cameron until finally she shook her head a bit and focused::

Blaze...Firebird...Blaze VICTORY has been having a hard time.

Nicolas, Cameron, Karen, Cass and myself were worried about her.

Nicolas went to Alison, who revealed that Blaze had the Siege Perilous. Alison had given it to her PRIOR to the events of the Blue Moon because Blaze wanted to see other cross time alternates of herself.

Ever since she's come into the mainstream timeline she's been afflicted with constant comparisons to Foxfire, or Blaze Fielding. She kept hearing how she is so much more polished and 'better' than her counterpart, yet she still hasn't been able to rationalize who she is here...

She's struggling with her search for purpose and even IDENTITY here. She originally came here following Morgan and the rest of you after you all encountered her in HER timeline as you were searching the time stream to rescue Ava and Alison. But with Morgan having left the team, this WORLD even...it's left Blaze at a loss.

She opened up to Nicolas, expressing her dismay and her feeling of hopelessness. Concerned, Nicolas spoke to Alison, who pointed out something to him that not even he or MORGAN apparently had noticed. FIREBIRD maintains a psychic rapport with MAINSTREAM Spellbinder! That shouldn't be POSSIBLE and yet, here it is. It goes beyond psionics. Firebird also bares more of a resemblance TO mainstream Morgan than the original Blaze did. They realized that she was supposed to have been here ALL ALONG.

But SHE doesnt know that and she's at a loss for her sense of self and its clear that many in the six unintentionally dropped the ball in helping her with integrating into this time. So many things...even dealing with Karen...was hard for her because in her timeline, Karen ADOPTED her before she died in one of the Sentinel attacks against The Six.

It was assumed, after she arrived here and assisted the Six in several immediate capers, that she'd simply find her way...easily. Moreover, she doesnt know very much about her crosstime alternate from here and what little she HAS seen or heard has been very negative. It's made her wonder, especially in the absence of Morgan, why she should be here.

When Cameron and Nicolas found out she had the Siege Perilous, we all became very concerned. You've seen it used, you know what it can do, how terrifying it can be. but it's greatest function is that it opens a portal, that when anyone goes through it, they will be judged by the highest of powers, the good and the ill of their lives weighed in the cosmic balance, and they are reborn into a new life without remembering the old one...or they are utterly destroyed...

Alison reminded Nicolas and Cameron that Jasmine Fielding a.k.a. Frost...Blaze AND Morgan's half sister, went through it after Morgan was presumed dead after facing The Master Mold and that once she did, nothing, not even Alison's "SIGHT" could find her across the time stream again.

Alison told Nicolas that she "saw" Blaze using the Siege Perilous much like her half sister Jasmine, to leave our timeline altogether in hopes of going to one that is better. In her timeline she's seen so much destruction and chaos, and HER version of The Six was far more together...Couple that with what just happened with you, Morgan and Alison...she feels as if we are TOO messed up and concerned with the wrong things. Nicolas Cameron and Alison have concluded thatTHIS has been FIREBIRD'S true timeline. It's the best fit FOR her.

Yesterday, she was AMBUSHED by that sleazy rag Tempo reporter Nigel Barker at the Spectra press conference for the new Truth or Dare line. He attempted to question her about her very identity and accused her of being FOXFIRE, having faked her own death during the destruction of Illustra. He even held up a giant PICTURE of FOXFIRE and invited everyone to draw comparisons between her and FIREBIRD right there on live television! He tried to derail the press conference and even tried to suggest the federal authorities should be contacted about her as well as Morgan, bringing up the fact that she's a witch.

Sally Spectra stopped the conference and had him thrown out of Spectra and permanently BANNED....

:: Leaning in closer::

She also had him roughed up not too far from the santo monica freeway, while Cameron pretty much ENDED his career as a reporter and had him black balled from ALL of Zenith Corp's holdings in New York and L.A., making SURE that Sally's word out on him STICKS.

:: Leaning back a bit::

It was hell for Blaze, but thankfull Sally's PR people as well as Cameron's have been able to suppress Nigel's inflamatory questioning of Firebird and his stunt with Foxfire's picture.

Nicolas and Cameron have been working, almost NON STOP sense then on something big for Blaze, Karen is also involved in it. I'm not at liberty to say exactly what it is at this time, but I've been helping to make sure the legal language of all transactions and processes involved is air tight and valid.

:: Smiling a bit with excitement over the legal process that she'd been apart of, because interpreting/practing law was something she'd always enjoy doing, even if it was in a small, supporting form::

LAST NIGHT, Cass went to see about Blaze...pretty much everyone, even Ava in NYC and Alison, Karen and Michael out at Minerva's saw/heard about Blaze's ambush at Spectra and everyone was concerned. That's one reason why I was still here when you and I almost collided with each other.

But while Cass was with Blaze and I was talking to Nicolas outside, Blaze went into Morgan's room, took the Seige and jumped through the stepping disc in Morgan's room, teleporting herself to the Pacific Pallisades. She flew from Cameron's former cliff side villa to the butte out in the pacific ocean where Spellbinder had SNAPPED years earlier and transformed into her Darkchild form after the astral nightmare she had.

Blaze OPENED the Seige Perilous at that very spot and was about to pass through it, but, thanks to a flash premonition he had, Cameron and Nicolas got there in time to stop her and appeal to her sense of reason, give her HOPE to stay here and let them show her that she DOES belong here and even WITHOUT Morgan, she has a purpose here.

The convinced her, brought her back and now, Cameron is with her, no doubt preparing her for the first part of what he and Nicolas have planned for her.

I'm GLAD they stopped her...saved her from making that fateful choice. It was too much of a risk to take, i think...and no one should have to feel like casting themselves into some cosmic oblivion is better than being where they are now.

Also...Morgan would have been HEART BROKEN to come back and learn that she lost yet ANOTHER sister, to the seige perilous no less.

Ava's eyes were focused on the blue prints of the Parisian Parthenon when Simon Pratt made his grand appearance. Lifting her eyes to him, he thanked her for getting them a table, proceeded to ask if she had ordered yet, then ordered them both a round of mimosas with the 'expensive' champagne. He was certainly a piece of work. A very good looking piece of work, but a piece of work nonetheless.

Simon: So...how was your morning? Better now I hope since I saved you from $8 champagne.

"And here I thought Simon Pratt didn't do charity? Color me shocked."

Ava quipped as the waiter returned shortly with her vegetarian egg white omelette, bowl of strawberries, and old grey tea.

Waiter: Are you ready to order Mr. Pratt?

"No need to take his order. Mr. Pratt isn't staying. Although he did say to put my lunch on his tab. Isn't he such a gentleman?"

Being a guest of Cameron Kings, Ava didn't actually have to pay for her food....but Simon didn't need to know that. The waiter looked between the two, obviously feeling some sort of tension between them, before excusing himself and quickly walking away. Peering across the table at Simon, Ava couldn't help but drink up his appearance. He was damn sexy, that was for sure. But arrogant as all hell. Young and entitled. And with a huge chip on his shoulder.

"So what's your goal in all of this? Are you trying to cozy up to me? Or Cameron King?"

Picking up a strawberry, Ava popped it into her mouth knowing very well what his true intentions were. But still, it was fun playing a little cat and mouse with him.

"Give it time."

The fire elemental says with a thoughtful tone

"Whenever I DO see Zach, I see something smoldering below the surface. There's more to him than what he shows...what HALEIGH even knows. If she thought the revelation about him sleeping with Sharon was a headliner, I think she's in for an even BIGGER surprise soon. He slept with Claudia and somehow managed to rationalize it. I know everyone thought Nicolas was bad for what he did with Haleigh to Morgan and he WAS bad for that...but at some point, even HE realized that. Zach just seems a little too....cavalier to be trusted, in my opinion. And YOU? You were a big asshole to Morg in my timeline at first...that's why I had to kick your butt a few times. But you grew up. Obviously the same thing happened here. Maybe somebody should've kicked HIS ass after he slept with CLAUDIA...TWICE!"

The fire elemental scoffs loudly at the thought of

"UGH, the Zacchara Sisters. They made Paris and Nicole Ritchie look RESPECTABLE like the Gabor Sisters."

[thinking about Cass for a moment]

"And Cassandra will come around...I mean, I can't imagine what she's suffered..but even still, she better do so soon, I can tell that people are losing their patience with her. She's a sweet girl..."

[turning to Blaze]

"She is sweet. But she's more uptight than Alison wearing her tightest hairbun. I mean even Alison and my sister could loosen up SOMETIMES and Cass has got to understand, the walls she thinks are protecting her, are PREVENTING her from making progress too."

Cameron said:
"Yeah...come to think of it...I have NEVER seen Morgan cook in my life. She must have found some 'other' way to Nicolas' heart!" [laughs]

Blaze smirks a bit.

"Oh yes...Nicolas' heart is BEWITCHED by Morg and though she tries to pretend like she's still the icy ball busting sorceress supreme...there's a flame in there that chocolate goodness always seems to ignite."

"Everything else is just an afterthought."

She bats her eyes and places the back of her hand on her faux head, pretending to be emotional for a moment.

Cameron said:
"Well...that's just Haleigh. I mean...it's not like we could have expected a "Welcome Home" party from her...it's not her style. And hey, coming from somebody who was absent more times than I am proud of from this team...it's really not easy coming back no matter how you do it..."

thinking for a second.

Blaze swallows more of the delicious champagne.

Cameron said:
"She is DAMN loyal...and I'm pretty sure that's what those words you heard last night were about...Delilah probably [air quoting]"filled her in" on things and Alycia arrived at the perfect moment to hear Haleigh's reaction...I've "spoken" to my sister...Haleigh is on Aerie with her..."

"Well...all this "back handed love" around here is enough to make me go POSTAL sometimes. I feel that Haleigh underestimates me because of her past dealings with this timeline's Blaze. She's behaved toward me in a way that suggested she expected me to BACK DOWN because she was alpha. Cam, I'm not a sub to ANYONE. I wasn't in my timeline and I won't be here. I can be understanding, but SHE'LL have to understand THAT.

And... apparently I'm not the ONLY one who feels that way either."

She eyed Cameron for a moment. He didnt SAY anything after that last part, but that whole last statement..it sounded a little IMPASSIONED on his part. What was he NOT saying about Haleigh that had effected HIM personally? He knew she was quite intuitive and perceptive, BEYOND that of any normal baseline human...but she gave him a BREAK, not pressing him for whathe didnt say, THIS time.

But That, along with the next part definitely raised Blaze's curiosity as she licked her lips from another drink of champagne.

"Hmmm I shouldve stopped to listen in more. I did hear Delilah yelling at Alycia and Alycia standing her ground. Delilah's been such a BITCH!"

"I told her that I felt like she was being fake to Karen, wasting her time when Karen was trying to help her and she didn't like that. She also didn't like when I said it appeared that she never really knew or understood Morgan and Alison. She called me "Morgan Junior" and "Morgan's mouthpiece."

"One thing's for sure...when the chips are down, Delilah can be just as cruel and callous as anyone in the Six she's accused of being the same way. I saw that in MY timeline as well."

The moved on, another round of drinks and a clink of the flutes.

Cameron said:
"Are you joking me? You think I'm gonna let you anywhere CLOSE to Alycia in that way? I'm not about to lose ANOTHER woman to you! It's not often we've 'competed' for a woman, but when we do!? Somehow the fiery charms of Blaze always seems to give you the EDGE!"

"Well, Cam baby, what can I tell you? I'm just too posh....too HOT for you, my dear!"

waving her finger and feigning a look of snobby pretense

"And my milkshake brings all the boys , girls and YOUR girls to the yard! "

Licking out her tongue as they laughed.

::TING!::

Cameron said:
He tinged! their glasses together once more. Cameron was having QUITE the good time with Blaze!

Next she finally found the picture of them that he had brought and he was relieved that she enjoyed it!

"Oh Please? You think Alycia and Dominique would have let me talk this much mess yet without SMACKING me?" [laughs]

"Oh...I think most women can't get through a conversation with you without smacking you! Like Madonna's song says, you bring out "the beast within!"

Cameron said:
They both downed their glasses of champagne as Cameron poured them BOTH another glass and began to start the process of poaching the eggs for them, while the spinach was being cooked on a saucepan to the side.

"Honey, your work in the club scene is LEGENDARY! You don't just HAUNT a club, you POSSESS it!"

Lifting her eyebrows with intrigue

"You mean SHE[Blaze Fielding]did...right?"

This really resonated with Blaze Victory, it even sent a chill up her spine! The one thing she'd wanted to do in HER timeline was to be the glamorous proprietor of a sleek, sultry, popular hot spot night club. She'd spent many nights prawling them with Cameron, Haleigh and Morgan...she wanted one for herSELF. But that dream, like so many others for her and the rest of the Six, was CRUSHED as things went from good...to bad...to mystech HELL ON EARTH.

"What was she like, Cameron? What did she do at the club? I love fashion, like my sister...but I always ...."

She paused as she stopped herself, but she decided that was not that way to move FORWARD. She trusted Cam, so she continued

"....I always wanted to be the glamorous proprietor of my own club. I wanted to be the party princess of NYC but not just in looks. I wanted to RUN the operation too. Morg and I were checking out buildings and possible locations, Haleigh was going to revamp the entire structure to make sure it had the best sound/light/entertainment technology on the planet! It was going to be my personal project. Everyone else on our team had something going for them. Morgan had her fashion, Haleigh had her intelligence agency, Alison had her apothecary, Delilah was a cop and a martial arts instructor with her own dojo, Nicolas had his shipping company and Cameron had his media empire. EVERYBODY had carved their own personal niche...but then the government and mystech started disenfranchising mutants all across the board...and soon, it all came down to us fighting to stay free...stay ALIVE..."

::Sigh!::

Cameron said:
[thinking for a moment about her inquiry as to the days events]

"Well, let's just say it's going to be FUN...Definitely nighttime attire...Though, we WILL be in NYC by the late afternoon and spend the night there...So don't worry too much about clothing..Sally pulled several options herself and put them in your Penthouse at The Parthenon.."

Blaze's apple green eyes lit up with delight at the idea of yet a NEW wardrobe waiting for her courtesy of Sally Spectra and back in NYC at the Parthenon, no less!

Cameron said:
[looking at her a little more seriously]

"Basically, we [Nicolas and I] wanted to show you just how much you DO belong here, so we came up with a little tour of sorts, to show you the places and the memories we have of you in the city...and it all ends with a big old surprise at the END...we just want to make sure you don't decide to jump ship and leave us again anytime soon, dear...."

Though the comment was serious, it didn't have much weight behind it. It was a little deadpan. He didn't necessarily want to kill the move, but to let her know that he was still a little bit worried.

"You guys...cared enough to track me down and stop me....SAVE me from myself really. There has to be a reason that I came here...i mean NOT just to follow Morgan...but to really MEAN something....HERE. You and I were the HEART of the Six in MY timeline. I still haven't found my place in THIS one yet. "

"After everything that's happened, up to yesterday with that slime bucket Nigel Barker...I was down and out. I was weak and just ready to let go and cast myself into the Seige because i just KNEW whatever was waiting for me out there...had to be better than here. But i risked so much to come HERE...I don't feel like I've really found out WHY yet and I'd like to..."

"So if you guys are willing to help me, then I'm not going to insult you or waste your time by trying to leave again. "

There was a quiet moment between them, with only the ticking of a wall clock audibly notating the passing seconds. Blaze's apple green eyes flash with intrigue as she smiles at Cameron.

Cameron said:
"God, this sauce is taking forever...Would you mind getting the english muffins out of that bag and slicing them for me? Shouldn't take too much longer..."

"What do I look like, Martha Stewart!?"

Blaze says, pretending to be insulted as she snickers a bit shortly after.

"Yeah, I'll get them and take care of that. Just hurry up with the rest of it, Chef BoyArDRUNK!"

Waiter: Are you ready to order Mr. Pratt?

"No need to take his order. Mr. Pratt isn't staying. Although he did say to put my lunch on his tab. Isn't he such a gentleman?"

Simon smirked at Ava before turning back to the waiter, placing his hand on his wrist.

"Forgive my friend, Clark...she's got low blood sugar.. As a matter of fact..I WILL be staying..and I will take the Harvati Club...light mayonaisse, do a side of fresh fruit instead of the fries...some greek yogurt, and a little bit of honey...And yes, of course, feel free to put it all on my tab..."

[he turned back to Ava]

Ava said:
"So what's your goal in all of this? Are you trying to cozy up to me? Or Cameron King?"

He watched her take a strawberry to her lips and his ears began to ring a little.

"Well, I'd like to say my goal is to sit here and watch you eat those strawberries all day.."

[snapping back to reality]

"But I digress...honestly, Ava. I'm SURE my reputation precedes me...you think I need to be this persistent to get laid? And in terms of Cameron King, well he all but handed me my ass yesterday in that meeting and then gave me a promotion...It was a confusing meeting to say the least...but after it...I'm sure Cameron King will be keeping me around...as long as I am a good boy...though i've never been good at THAT for very long..."

[winking at her]

"Look, I know i've got the whole wolf in sheep's clothing thing going on...but would it kill ya to entertain the fact that I might be...interested...and if you HAVE, you MUST know, that The Ice Queen bit only makes me thirstier..."

Simon took a drink of champagne and eyed Ava up and down. She was definitely going to be a tough nut to crack, but there was something about her that was a little different than many of his flings. She was substantial, a fully realized woman...and that intrigued him. Couple that with the fact that it appeared he couldn't have her? Well, it just made him even MORE interested..

"So..please..."

He got down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant and grabbed her hand. Patrons began to look at them with a sense of excitement and bewilderment as if they were about to witness a MARRIAGE proposal!

"Entertain an entitled snob with a desperate need to do better? Have lunch with me? Besides, we both know I won't go quietly..and with all these people looking at us, if you say no, well...that'd just make me look sympathetic. And which do you find worse? A scenario where you have lunch and confirm your suspicions that I'm nothing more than a spoiled wasp or turn me down and watch these poor patrons pat me on the back and comfort me while I leave?"

Simon laughed and his eyes were razor focused on Ava as he awaited her decision.

Simon: "Well, I'd like to say my goal is to sit here and watch you eat those strawberries all day.."

Ava simply rolled her eyes at his comment before pushing the bowl of strawberries away from her.

Simon: "But I digress...honestly, Ava. I'm SURE my reputation precedes me...you think I need to be this persistent to get laid?"

"Considering you attract woman with IQ levels below 70, I figured maybe you were working a little harder than usual."

Smirking, Ava had to admit that he was entertaining. Picking up a small pair of tongs, she used them to grab a few sugar cubes and put them in her hot tea. Taking a spoon, she stirred the hot liquid and took a sip as Simon continued.

Simon: "Look, I know i've got the whole wolf in sheep's clothing thing going on...but would it kill ya to entertain the fact that I might be...interested...and if you HAVE, you MUST know, that The Ice Queen bit only makes me thirstier..."

"It's not an act sweetie. Haven't you read the papers?"

Ava was always painted out in the tabloids to be a cold, icy bitch. Always dressed in black like she was permanently going to a funeral every day. Never pictured with a man, so obviously there was something wrong with her not to be able to keep one. And being a Cassadine? People just assumed she was just straight up evil. Though that was partially true. :p It was all bullshit, but Ava could care less what people thought of her, therefore she didn't try to change people's opinions on the matter. And in this case, why not play up her "reputation".

But suddenly, Simon did something.....UNEXPECTED. He got down on one knee and took her hand, looking like he was about to PROPOSE to her. People began to look over at them, smiling and giggling thinking they were witnessing a romantic gesture. Ava's eyes widened as she looked down at Simon.

"What are you doing?!"

She whispered, though if she could she would have yelled it.

Simon: "So...please...Entertain an entitled snob with a desperate need to do better? Have lunch with me?"

"Simon. Get. Up."

Simon: "Besides, we both know I won't go quietly..and with all these people looking at us, if you say no, well...that'd just make me look sympathetic."

Looking back up at the people around them, they were all waiting for an answer. Ava coughed out a small laugh and smiled. This was unbelievable. This was....genius on his part.

"Fine, fine! I'll have lunch with you! Now will you get up please?"

Simon was obviously pleased with himself as he got back up and everyone softly began to clap, thinking Ava had accepted his proposal. Shaking her head.

"You are unbelievable, do you know that? And no, that was not a compliment."

Opting for the mimosa instead of her old grey, Ava took a rather large gulp before putting the flute back down on the table. Sitting back, she folded her arms across her chest and peered at Simon from across the table.

"Do you always get what you want?"

Minerva's

Alison: "I DID NOT STEAL THAT UNGRATEFUL WENCH'S BABY!"

Haleigh's eyebrows lifted as she placed her hand on her hips, while Alison slammed dos and Windows and used her outside voice. The tantrum failed to intimidate or impress. Clearly Alison was losing her grip on sanity.

(Dryly) "It's been a while since you watched anyone get laid, hasn't it?"

Karen: "Alison...it's okay. Remember, you said yourself that you knew this moment was coming. Haleigh's not here to fight with you."

Alison finally relented, canceling the red alert and thanking Karen and Mike for their help, before blinking to her study.

Mike: "I missed you. You did damn good work in New York, but the next time you stay gone this long I am going to shoot you in the face. I would have just gone to you but it seemed too ex-boyfriend. Besides, if they had locked ME out like what happened to you here...it would have gone much worse. You go clear the air with Ali and then come back to the bar. I have some good shit we need to open and taste while we talk. Don't make me wait."

"I missed you too! And yeah, I'm catching on to the fact that I've gone too long... I wish you HAD come and gotten me. I wish ANYONE had.... listen, I want to catch up with you for sure.... but I might need to take a rain check on drinks. I've got to get this shit patched up, and I haven't even unpacked my bags at home yet!"

Haleigh gave Mike a parting hug, then dissipated and plopped into the plush chair across from the desk in Alison's study. She took a deep breath and leaned back. She was steadily realizing much she had missed her friends.

"Alison, I understand trying not to stress Delilah out with a Six problem, but not including her in a decision about her own baby? I don't get it. I really wish I had been here for you all..... if weren't for those Norse brothers, I'd have come back sooner, but everything got so out of hand."

Minerva's Mansion- Executive Study

:: Harbinger's face was partially enshrouded in shadow. Her colbalt blue eyes had a haunting glow to them as she glared at Haleigh with a level of contempt not seen since
the earliest days of the Six, when the first gathered together::

Well, Haleigh...that's really too bad for you, isn't it? Because you DIDN'T come back. You were too busy playing STARSHIP TROOPERS with the same government that not so long ago tried to KILL US ALL!

:: It was no secret that Alison held little regard for the U.S. gov't. It was one of the reasons why she was never in a rush to return to the States UNLESS it was of dire importance::

YOU don't get it?

:: Alison scoffs with a laugh of disbelief::

I don't CARE!

:: she bellows::

Let me tell you something, Haleigh Davidoff. You are ONLY ALIVE and WHOLE at this point because of MICHAEL AND KAREN. But THEY aren't IN THIS ROOM, are they?

:: she asks with a grim glare firmly fixed on Haleigh as she sits there, her hands under her chin, fingers clasped together, but upon closer view, one can see that her hands are TREMBLING...with RAGE::

:: It might occurr to Haleigh now that the reason Alison relented in the Great Room was NOT because of Haleigh herself, but because she wanted to ensure their PRIVACY in case she decided to attack her after all!::

You forced your way into my aerie, after talking to that self centered, backstabbing, twisted, suicidal TRAMP, thinking you were going to confront ME!? You MOCK me and INSULT ME!? just like SHE did!?

:: Alison BOLTS upright from her chair, which flies back against the wall behin her and falls on it's side::

You thought you were going to come here...after being GONE for an INORDINATE amount of time...and QUESTION ME...as if I ANSWER to YOU?

:: she lifts her hand up and darkly glowing blue/black orbs explode into view as her TIME STAFF once again manifests itself in her waiting grip::

CLEARLY you have missed and FORGOTTEN much while you've been away, INCLUDING the fact that I don't SUFFER this kind of treatment lightly from ANYONE

I TOLERATED it from Delilah because of the tragic circumstances. Circumstances I did my BEST to MITIGATE and I STILL paid the price for it. But That was then...this is NOW and I will NOT tolerate it from you!

If you doubt that, for even a MOMENT...TEST ME...and FIND OUT!

:: What Haleigh didnt know, but Ava had touched on, was that Alison had INDEED had an emotional breakdown that night in the aftermath of the Blue Moon. It was WEEKS before she would even SPEAK again. Ava and Karen had cared for her and brought her back and most recently, CAMERON had helped her get a better grip too, but it was STILL a recent recovery, one that Haleigh was unintentionally jeopardizing by coming to the Mansion the way she did and for her expressed purpose::

How DARE you come here! Trying to stir things up again!

:: a marble statue nearby CRACKS in it's form and begins to break apart, pieces of it crashing to the floor, a sign of Alison's growing rage manifesting through her telekinesis!::

You came here not as my teammate or even as my FRIEND. you came here as HER self appointed emissary and you were an IDIOT for doing so.

I don't owe you an explanation. I don't owe you ANYTHING!

:: she moves out from behind her desk, the garnett jewel in the crown of her time staff is now humming and glowing::

YOU weren't HERE, so what do you think is going to change now that you ARE? When you could have made a DIFFERENCE, you were ABSENT and LESS than inconsequential. NOW you want to open up a wound that has BARELY begun to close?

I ALLOWED that petty, ungrateful bitch to heap her abuse upon me. YOU do not get that pass and if you TRY...you will REGRET IT, do you understand me!?

:: She abruptly stops...as she paces around the room, FUMING! She finally turns to face the double doors. Her shoulders draw up for a moment before she SHUDDERS, the RAGE is washed over by GRIEF to form some unholy emotional "mixture". Black tears begin to fall from her eyes.::

You came here to try to SHAME me. I won't let you.

:: Without turning her back, She knows Halegh's coming toward her::

KEEP AWAY FROM ME! DON'T YOU TOUCH ME!

:: she SCREAMS. A rushing, chiming sound is heard as Haleigh SLIDES back and is FORCED to sit down in her chair::

I don't want you anywhere NEAR me.

This team needed you and for the first time since the night I "SAW" Morgan and Sharon dying at the hands of Master Mold...I WAVERED. Inspite of not being able to "SEE" ANY OTHER OPTIONS...I WAVERED. I allowed myself to...LEAN on the words of a MORTAL even as I walked toward my own damnation and then OVER that cliff into the abyss!

NOW you come here and all you'll do is cause more harm than good!

:: She finally turns around to face Haleigh, with her now black tear streaked face and her eyes flashing with rage AND grief::

I should...I should THROW YOU OUT! RIGHT NOW!

:: She COULD do just that. She could MURDER Haleigh in this room before Karen and Michael even got there but was that what she REALLY wanted? Yes she was VERY upset right now and she was lashing out in rage AND grief, but she didn't want to hurt or kill Haleigh. If she did THAT, then what? She would have made a liar out of herself when she promised Karen, Ava and Cameron that she was BETTER, she would untintentionally give CREDENCE to the terrible things Delilah said about her and she would end up doing the one thing she never wanted to do, REGRESS to an earlier time and way of being. She'd come so far, even with the tragedy and of the Blue Moon, she would not completely lose herself, even now.::

:: Instead, she realized the fastest way to be RID of Haleigh was just to simply tell her what happened and THEN, if Haleigh pressed too much or went too far, Alison would be MORE than within her right to cast Haleigh out. But right now, it was best to just get it out. Get it out of her system for what she would be SURE was the LAST TIME...AND to make sure Haleigh understood exactly what happened in DETAIL. Whether or not Haleigh agreed or even approved was less than of no concern to Alison since Alison felt Haleigh had VOIDED her access to regard some time ago::

You just sit there and you LISTEN. This is the LAST time I'm talking about this...TO ANYONE.

:: Alison exhaled loudly, trying to center herself for a few moments, before finally speaking again::

:: Haleigh had seen the growth and progression of Alison through the years, but even being gone for the length of time that she had couldnt prepare her for what she was seeing NOW. It was not unlike what she displayed to Cameron the previous day. But for Haleigh, this ALSO evoked images of the Alison she saw in that timeline where Morgan had died a VIOLENT death at the hands of Nicolas, who in turn had been murdered by Karen after Alycia was unable to get him convicted for murder. In that timeline, the trauma of Nicolas' inexplicable rape and murder of Morgan Victoria left Alison Marble::

:: Haleigh realized that Alison was in a bad way over all of this and that she'd more than likely been MASKING the depth of her grief and GUILT over Delilah from the others. She HADN'T been lying to Cameron, Karen and Ava...but she was still at a loss!::

A month ago, I was in my master suite...having a vision. a NIGHTMARE. When I awoke with a start...PERSEPHONE was in my bedroom. She came to warn me. She'd been completely cut off from communicating with or even sensing Demeter, Athena or Hecate. She then confirmed what I saw in my nightmare. CIRCE was coming back for us and the curse of the Blue Moon was about to manifest itself.

The Blue Moon was the ultimate in an equal and opposite reaction to the Red Moon. The Red Moon HEIGHTENED everything, including vices and emotions. The Blue Moon WEAKENED everything, including...and ESPECIALLY, magick. All magick on Earth ebbed and flowed to the UNDERWORLD, where CIRCE was. She'd taken residence on the Isle of the Dead and the Blue Moon would be her last chance to try to fullfill Hecate's original curse/prophecy, as SHE saw it.

The Blue Moon's effect caused my precognition to be hampered, it made myself, Shadodw Weaver, Spellbinder, and even Isis, not to mention all other magick users of any skill level very weak and physically SICK.

But there was something else. In my nightmare, I saw Delilah travailing in painful labor and DYING as she gave birth to a baby. She'd be dead by the time Circe destroyed this mansion, this ISLAND an ALL that were on it.

I told Ava this and I also told her that the one mitigating factor in my vision about Delilah was Bishop. He's the baby's father and he played a pivotal role in the outcome of Delilah. As much as I loathed it, Ava agreed with me that He HAD to be told and so as we prepared to go warn the Six, I sent Alycia to find Bishop, inform him and bring him back here.

Delilah was going to have to be brought here...no mortal hospital would be equiped to help her and if she were to have given birth in a mortal hospital, the circumstances of that labor, her death and that baby, which was obviously going to be a mutant, would have created a whole OTHER layer of problems for The Six .

Her BEST chances of survival would be HERE at the Mansion's infirmary.

I contacted Rampage. Persephone contacted Spellbinder. Rampage reached out to Isis, who was also in the vision, asking her for her aid and she agreed. When Rampage overheard Spellbinder and Firebird discussing their distaste of having to contact Bishop, HE quietly contacted Bishop, alerting him that Delilah was in danger.

Spellbinder, as team leader, decided that because Delilah was ALREADY having an increasingly difficult pregnancy, she should not be told about Circe. Silver Swan, her midwife, who by now had been alerted by Arsenal and Shadow Weaver, backed Spellbinder's descision. Spellbinder was the only one who VOCALLY agreed with me that Delilah should not be told about my vision involving HER either. The reason being that because of Delilah's recent history of behavior, she would not have acted rationally. She would have interferred or even stonewalled any possible attempts at decisive courses of action even if they would save her life.

For goddess' sakes the woman DROWNED herself over a man. How could ANYONE trust someone's judgement when they'd do something like THAT? Not to mention turning down an offer to FREE herself from a curse that followed her from one life time to the next!

:: Alison said with scathing contempt as she paused for a moment and then resumed.::

The Blue Moon was almost at hand. Karen, myself, Morgan and Dominique were getting worse by the minute. Persephone asked Dominique for her help in trying to contact her mother, Demeter and, in keeping with the truce between the Sisterhood and Six that is still active, Isis agreed, using her magick to get around the viel blocking Persephone from Demeter and the other goddesses. THIS allowed Persephone to receive vital insight and information from the goddesses on what it would take to defeat Circe and survive the Blue Moon.

Shortly after that, Dominique, Karen and Myself passed out and were brought here to the Infirmary. Spellbinder stayed behind at Melrose Place just as the Blue Moon began to dawn. She found Bishop in Delilah's apartmenet and Delilah herself had collapsed. Alycia arrived and at that point, Spellbinder teleported them all here.

Demeter revived the witches and gave us a temporary boost of energy to allow us to stand our ground while Spellbinder and Rampage first went to Limbo so she could draw her soul sword and regain MORE of her magickal power and THEN they went to the Underworld to fight Circe...and Medusa.

Spellbinder told Bishop what was happening, the danger that Delilah was in. Circe began to attack the Mansion.

We ALL had our parts to play. Silver Swan, Delilah's midwife, lead the emergegency medical team as they prepped to deliver the baby. Even then, the death glow was starting to flicker around her but there was no time to waste. Shadow Weaver, Isis and Myself would mount a magickal defense against Circe's mystical assaults while Charope (Alycia), Prophet, Firebird and Arsenal blocked and defended US and the mansion from Circe's physical based assaults. Spellbinder and Rampage, of course, went to the underworld where Morgan would face Circe and Nicolas, as ordained by Athena, was to be her protector.

:: Black Widow witnesses all these events as they occurred, with Alison narrating. Only her voice manages to be heard above the uncensored sounds of the chaos and terror under the Blue Moon from the Observatory of the Mansion down to the Infirmary::

But BETWEEN the time I joined the others and lead them to the Observatory and the when Spellbinder and Rampage journeyed to the underworld to confront Circe, Bishop sought my audience and counsel regarding Delilah. By now, he'd already been told by Spellbinder what was to happen to Delilah and the death glow was starting to flicker around her in the infirmary even as Sharon Kelly lead the emergency medical team in prepping for the delivery of the baby.

Bishop said:
He saw Alison, Morgan’s mother Karen Victoria and another woman talking close by, before the unknown woman left and Karen went into Delilah’s room, leaving Alison alone and giving him an opportunity.

“Alison – wait.”

He stands.

“Morgan told me what you saw…that vision thing…about Delilah. Do you know what’s making her sick?”

Alison would see that his concern was genuine.

And so, in this very room, Bishop and I...talked. We argued...the old wounds and resentment remained...but somehow...we were able to get passed that and to the point.

He understood from what I told him, from reading my journals, that what I saw coming for Delilah was REAL. Just as REAL as when I saw HIM coming back from the dead and moving across time threads in an entirely different body, but not knowing at that moment that it was HIM!

We reached the conclusion of our discussion. He had all the information I could provide him and he understood that HE would be what determined the outcome of Delilah's fate. He had a choice to make.

:: The all encompassing visual and audio sensory input from the visions of these events is abruptly HALTED as Alison's cold, bitter face BLASTS through the visuals before Haleigh, SHATTERING them and startling her::

Do you want to know WHY I...WE didn't tell Delilah? Because I knew...because we ALL knew what she would do and if YOU had been here, YOU'D have known it too. You SAW what she did to herself RIGHT HERE at this very place out in the waters of the Aegean sea. You SAW what she did the night Hecate explained to her what her problem REALLY was and gave her a chance to solve it once and for all!

As team leader, Spellbinder instructed The Six not to tell Delilah anything. She COULD have taken another course of action, despite my objections, but she was in agreement with me because she KNOWS Delilah.

NOT ONLY would she have tried to INVOLVE herself in the battle against Circe, but she would have INSISTED against ALL LOGIC and REASON that she keep this baby! Even though it would have....and DID result in the baby being WITHOUT her mother.

:: Haleigh wanted to know why, Well Alison told her, just now::

EVERYBODY knew it. Most didn't agree with some aspects of what Spellbinder and I had done, but they understood the NECESSITY of it.

NOBODY was willing to trust HER judgement. It's BEEN that way ever since BISHOP first blighted our paths.

The ONE person who would have actively and vocally objected to what I would end up doing, was Cameron. I KNEW this and I BLOCKED his access to me via our psychic rapport because of it.

I'm not sure what YOU think was supposed to happen, but YOU weren't even HERE so your opinion on the matter isnt even revelvant.

:: She says this with bitterness in her tone. Still offended to her core that Haleigh of all people would question her, as if she had done this capriciously::

:: She pulls back and waves her hand, the scrying pool's magick ignites once more...::

Circe attacked the mansion in earnest with the most powerful and deadly spell she could ignite. Shadow Weaver, Isis, myself and the remaining members of the Six were battling for the mansion and our very lives and Spellbinder and Rampage were in the unerworld fighting Medusa and Circe, Sharon Kelly was in the infirmary with Bishop and Ruby, the Six's newest member. She was trying to help Delilah. She successfully delievered the baby...but Delilah died. So did three members of my medical staff.

Speaking of my brother, It was ONLY Prophet who was able to register Delilah's passing. Spellbinder was in the Underworld, Shadow Weaver and myself were locked in a deadly stand off against Circe's assault.

We had no idea. But, Athena and Hecate, in an attempt to balance the scales with Delilah over the wild debacle of Bishop's return as MAXIM, called her soul to the Parthenon and told her what had happened to her. They filled in all the blanks we had left. They counseled her, restored her body to top form, pre-pregnancy condition and revived her. But before they sent her BACK to this place, Athena offered her a CHOICE.

She once again, made HER choice and, after being warned by both the goddesses that they could guarantee NOTHING after they sent her back, they returned her. She revived in the Infirmary.

Bishop attempted to introduce her to their baby girl, Alexia Morganna. It was a short, deadly meeting.

Sharon was able to revive Delilah, but only because she acted on a theory she had based on tests she'd ran on the baby. But now she knew...BISHOP knew for certain that what I had "seen" was true.

Thanks to Spellbinder severing Circe's link to Minerva's Mansion, and Barbara Minerva's astral echo in the mansion reviving ME WE finally managed to BREAK Circe's assault on the mansion. Spellbinder and Rampage, with a surprise assist from Persephone, defeated Circe. The curse of the Blue Moon was broken and magick was restored to earth....and, most of all, we STILL had Delilah with us. Her baby as alive and healthy, and SO WAS SHE.

:: Once again, the all encompassing view/playback halts and fades::

But the one person who seemed to LACK any kind of appreciation or GRATTITUDE for the FAVOR and HELP given to Delilah, was Delilah HERSELF. She seemed to IMMEDIATELY forget what the goddesses had said to her.

:: Once again, the scrying pool's magick ignites and Haleigh is watching...::

In the immediate aftermath of the Blue Moon, the mansion was badly damaged. The island itself had been violated by Circe's heavy handed use of dark magick and the remains of soldiers, both Barbara's and Alycia's, had been REANIMATED into zombies and were now laying about the island, dead again. There were casualties inside the mansion and several members of the Six sustained injuries. Isis, Shadow Weaver and Myself were nearly in comas from utter exhaustion but were thankfully revived as magick was restored to earth.

The threat of Circe and the Blue Moon may have been dealt with, but the worst was yet to come.

The others were gathered in a conference room, everyone had been stabliized and/or recovered from the bulk of their injuries and were waiting on word of Delilah.

I was in this room we're in now. Watching them. Looking at Delilah, Alexia..."LOOKING AHEAD" Hoping now that the Blue Moon had been broken, there might be something I had missed and I could now "SEE IT" with my restored precognition!

Bishop once more came to my executive study. In an ironic moment, he was more certain than I was...even though he was not a precog or anything else other than..."only human." He understood from Sharon, who's tests and evidence underscored my vision, what had to be done and he informed me that he'd made his choice. The important thing was that he came to that conclusion ON HIS OWN, without ANY pressure from ME, Sharon or anyone else. Not even SHARON knew what he was considering.

With that, I knew that anything else I was trying to do at that moment was an exercise in futility. He had more resolution than I did and if he could muster it, then I certainly needed to MATCH him if nothing else. What he wanted, more than anything was to see Delilah ALIVE, to give Alexia a CHANCE to see her mother...if not now...then at least ONE DAY. It was...HARDLY the "best possible" outcome, but it was LIGHTYEARS beyond the immediate alternative.

::FLASH!::

Together we went to the Nursery of the Infirmary. I closed myself off from all contact, even from my baby brother and I ALTERED the temporal fields around the nursery so that no one could detect any changes in the environment there in. It was just myself, Bishop and little Alexia.

I gave him one last chance to reconsider. I knew what was coming as a direct result of this. I told him exactly what would happen.

He remained steadfast and resolute. He seemed more...certain and convinced than even *I* was. In all the times I had made hard...heart rendering choices to alter outcomes...never had I felt such...trepidation. ME, a PRECOG, being afflicted by such feelings!? But this wasn't LIKE anything else I'd done before. NOT EVEN when I dispatched Victor Klein! This was DELILAH and her baby! A baby that she could NOT be around because the baby, through no fault of her own, would KILL her and there was NOTHING we could do to stop that.

I...actually CARED. I FELT SORROW!

:: Alison said with a mix of astonishment and DISGUST at herself for as it turned out, her willingness to do what few others could or WOULD earned her nothing but scorn, abuse and now JUDGEMENT. Haleigh might not EVER understand just how DEEP this ran for Alison...but to watch the precog now...it was definitely an emotionally wrenching thing for her to recount::

::FLASH!::

:: The visual playback continues::

He gathered the baby in his arms and prepared her as I watched, with a heavy heart. My... "marble hard heart"...which all but FAILED ME through this part of the Blue Moon Caper. It nearly CRACKED with...SYMPATHY and...GRIEF...

:: She spat with contempt::

But I couldn't...I couldn't let the baby go like this...not even to Ororo, without giving her SOMETHING to help her...to carry her through until we figured out a way around this deadly problem. And so, as Bishop held her in his arms towar my Time Staff, I cast a spell on her.

::FLASH!::

Harbinger said:
As you touch this garnet jewel on my time staff…my magicks now have touched you like the dew touches a flower in the morning. You will REMEMBER your father AND your mother.

:: Referring to the interactions both Bishop and Delilah have had with Alexia since she was born and stabilized::

Time may be “in the way” for you now, little one…but ALL things and people must live and move through time. You WILL see your mother and your father…when the time is RIGHT. But now with this gift, the touch of my time staff and my magick, you will forever be comforted by the memories of your mother and father, their gentle touch…their expressions of love for you.

Nothing changes now…you will still sleep the sleep of the innocent…but as you grow…you will NOT suffer the cruelty of not knowing who you are…and who you came from.
As I say it…let it now be so
.

::The sound signature associated with Harbinger’s magicks is heard as the garnet jewel emits a soft, sparkling red ray of light that gently washes over Alexia, who YAWNS contentedly before settling once more::

She’ll remember you, Bishop…and Delilah. The few precious moments you’ve shared with her. Your words to her. They will comfort her in dreams as her mind forms and will help lead her BACK to you both when the time is right.

:: lowering her time staff, she lets go of it and as it begins to fall, it stops and soon corrects itself, now hovering beside Alison…the garnet jewel once again humming softly and glowing with an intermittent pulse. Bishop slowly, gingerly hands the baby to Alison, who carefully gathers her into her arms, cradling her and covering her a bit more with the blanket Bishop wrapped around her. She looks up at Bishop, with a look of sadness in her colbalt blue eyes that she doesn’t try to hide now…but that sadness is tempered a bit by knowing she’s given the baby a gift FEW others could imagine, let alone bestow.::

She'll REMEMBER her mother AND her father, even from her earliest, brief moments with them both. She'll SEE them in her dreams and she'll KNOW them. That, combined with Ororo's teachings...

:: Harbinger paused for a moment and aborted that thought.::

Bishop said his goodbye, I carried Alexia away to Ororo and when I returned, I walked with Bishop to face the others, to face DELILAH. I removed the block in contact I'd put up between myself and Cameron and restored the temporal fields in the nursery to normal. But for Cameron and Nicolas, even THAT was an indication that something had happened. The OTHERS perceived that I had only been gone for MINUTES but Cameron and Nicolas were able to discern that I had been gone for over an HOUR and had left this WORLD during that time.

:: the visual playback continues::

By now, Delilah had been tearing into the Six for not telling her about Circe. Morgan tried to shield them and take full responsibility as team leader. Karen tried to appeal to Delilah's understanding...nothing worked. Morgan may have been the leader, she may have been the one to order them not to tell Delilah, but I knew this would fall on me.

When we joined them, Delilah asked for Alexia. Bishop and I then told her what happened, what we'd done...and why.

I dont expect you to understand...or even give Bishop credit. He will NEVER be a FRIEND or TRUSTED "ALLY" to the SIx or ANYONE that is a mutant/ meta human...BUT in this instance, he was someone who needed help. HE came to me inspite of his own views and opinions about magick or super powers, he came to me for HELP and in doing so, he helped ME to avert the outcome of my vision regarding Delilah

He displayed COURAGE in facing Delilah and telling her, himself, what he'd done and why. Without being a precog, he KNEW what was coming and he faced it, HEAD ON. I will NEVER LIKE the man, but in this ordeal...i had sympathy and RESPECT for him doing what he knew had to be done. He made a choice no man, no PARENT should have to make!

He safeguarded Delilah's life and ensured that she and Alexia will be together again, ONE DAY. He expressed, probably to his regret now, his wish to be a FAMILY with Delilah and Alexia. Inspite of my CONTEMPT for him and all the pain he caused US...I couldn't help but feel...in that moment...such sympathy for him...for HER.

What an FOOL I was. Letting my own HEART effect me in this moment!

:: the visuals abruptly end once again! As Alison's emotions RISE with anger and her heartrate begins to speed up as if she's expecting ANOTHER confrontation with Delilah::

YOU weren't here. YOUR opinion doesn't count. IT DOESNT MATTER and what you think of ME doesn't matter EITHER. You LOST that level of regard from me when you decided that playing GI JANE for the government was more important than US...

::gesturing violently around the room as if ALL of the Six were there::

... THIS TEAM and what WE do, which sometimes, ISN'T VERY NICE but it's NECESSARY.

She cast Bishop out. Seemingly forever. I'm sure YOU would have enjoyed that. But where were you again?

YOU WERENT HERE as MORGAN tried her best to protect US from Delilah's SELFISH and PETTY, NASTY verbal assaults, only to end up being degraded by Delilah MORE than any of the others.

She didn't care about anything else. She didn't REMEMBER or CARE about all the times we'd SCRAMBLED to save her BEFORE when she thought nothing of throwing her life away.

She said she'd rather be DEAD than be here with US. She looked upon the help, the CHANCES at LIFE she'd been given by the goddesses as if it were NOTHING. She REFUSED to see the LOGIC and REASON of WHY she could not be physically near Alexia. It didnt MATTER to her that Alexia would end up being an ORPHAN if she'd had it her way. Bishop HIMSELF confessed to me HE was not equipped to raise a mutant child and what of Alexia? She would have grown up with the same psychological SCAR that Nicolas bares with regard to his mother, KNOWING that SHE caused her mother's death.

::FLASH!::

Delilah said:
"You know, you all should really like Bishop. You should be BFFs with each other. He should be 'one of the gang' already. Because you ALL act the SAME! You all think you can make decisions FOR me and RUN MY LIFE!”

Harbinger said:
I took NO pleasure in this, Delilah. But you MUST know that I will ALWAYS do what must be done...not only to safe guard this world...but to protect YOU.

She shook her head.

"Oh you LOVE it and you know it. Lording it all over the rest of us. [in a high-pitched mocking voice] ‘Oh, I’m Alison! My powers are so terrible! I see everything before it happens but I don’t do anything about it!’ Yeah, you do what needs to done. IN YOUR OPINION. Funny how no one makes you do anything YOU don’t ALREADY want to do! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST DO WHATEVER YOU SEE FIT TO AND RUIN PEOPLE’S LIVES! My daughter is an orphan now BECAUSE OF YOU!”

Delilah wanted to put her hands around Alison’s throat. The ONE thing that should have been sacred to her – to them all – she had completely disregarded. Doing THIS without even talking to her about it…that was a new low even for “do-whatever-she-damn-well-pleases” Alison. She just could not even wrap her head around the fact that someone who was SUPPOSED to be her friend would even THINK about doing this to her, let alone ACTUALLY doing it. And WITH someone she SAID she hated and who she wanted DEAD.

“You give me back my daughter, Alison. NOW.”

She said we...specifically Morgan and myself RUINED HER LIFE!

:: The walls...the study...began to QUAKE as Alison's voice trembled with grief and RAGE::

She NEVER knew us...Not really! SHE NEVER TRUSTED US! She ALWAYS resented us ever since BISHOP came along, probably BEFORE THAT!

:: Pictures began to CRACK and FALL. Objects began to shatter and hurl themselves around the room. Alison places her hand to her forehead. Shutting her eyes TIGHTLY and struggling to reign herself in AGAIN. She grits her teeth and after a few seconds, she seems to settle enough to carry on.::

:: the play back resumes once again::

She poured her venom on me , Morgan and the Six with such wild abandon and an almost sadistic GLEE. But I stood there...and I TOOK IT. WE ALL did. I even STOPPED Morgan from BERATING her, since by now, MORGAN had snapped. We KNEW we were coming up short in this and there was nothing more that could be said.

Even though I'd done what had to be done, I STILL FAILED.

Finally, when I refused to bring Alexia back, she attacked me.

I...merely kept her at bay, holding my Time Staff up between her and me. Karen and Blaze took hold of me, fearing what I might do, but I did nothing. I wasn't going to. I would not hurt her...anymore than I already HAD. If i could have done something....ANYTHING ELSE

:: Alison bows her head as more black tears fall from her eyes::

I WOULD HAVE! BUT I COULDN'T NO ONE COULD.

:: She gasps as she tries to pull back her emotions...the effort causes the shaking and quaking to substantially weaken::

Cameron pulled her away and out into the hall and Morgan teleported the three of them away, dropping Delilah with Cameron off at the Parthenon in NYC, before teleporting HERSELF to Limbo, where she has remained EVER SINCE.

I...reflexively broadcast a "distress call" across the astral plane without even realizing it. As it turns out, I was having a nervous breakdown then and there and I collapsed into Ava's arms. She and Karen stayed here and took care of me for several weeks, which was how long it took before I even spoke a single word again.

:: Alison seemed to be more collected now, her tone lower, more cold and once again bitter::

Cameron returned Delilah to Melrose Place when she was well enough and obviously you're aware of that, since that's where you've been as of 24 hours ago. Morgan has not been heard from since she exiled hersel in Limbo. The destruction of her friendship with Delilah has obviously had a significant impact on her and Blaze has fallen into a depression, stemming in large part from this situation, since it evokes memories of what happened in HER timeline...Morgan/Alison/Delilah (& Haleigh) falling out before Mystech attacked Illustra and began their seige that WE fell into and Nicolas and Cameron have had to find her and STOP her from using the Siege Perilous in a way she may regret.

Despite what you were told, there was no "conspiracy" or "plot". The team has NOT shrugged it off. EVERYBODY has been staggered by it and NO BODY knows what to do because that ill tempered BITCH rebuffs all attempts at help, just like she always does. Nothing ANYBODY ever did was good enough for her and now that nobody is doing anything, THAT'S a problem. She doesnt believe Morgan or I were her friends and that we some how took some perverse pleasure in this.

Well...I'm through with it. HER. ALL of it!

And now that you've heard what you wanted to hear, it's time for you to leave.

:: She said coldly but quietly.::

Minerva's mansion

Alison reverted back to being confrontational immediately..... and Haleigh's comfortable demeanor began to morph into something more serious.

Alison: "Well, Haleigh...that's really too bad for you, isn't it? Because you DIDN'T come back. You were too busy playing STARSHIP TROOPERS with the same government that not so long ago tried to KILL US ALL!"

"Okay, come on. Do you have to throw that in my face like that?"

Alison: "YOU don't get it?"

"No, I don't get it. I wasn't playing a fucking video game out there, Alison. I was risking my life to save THE WORLD."

Alison: "I don't CARE!"

Now THAT was enough to bring Haleigh up short. She sat up, her focus narrowing as Alison continued with a veiled threat. This not an act to prove her strength. The act had been right before, when Alison had pretended to let her guard down. Haleigh was seeing, finally, that something was truly wrong with Alison. The woman was SHAKING with anger as she spoke....

Alison: "You forced your way into my aerie, after talking to that self centered, backstabbing, twisted, suicidal TRAMP, thinking you were going to confront ME!? You MOCK me and INSULT ME!? just like SHE did!?"

Haleigh reacted with the speed of a machine, standing as quickly as Alison had, though with more control-- she hadn't knocked her chair violently backwards as Alison had.

"Now you just fucking hold on-- that's DELILAH you're talking about like that, and if you think I'm going to sit here and listen to THAT SHIT, you're mistaken!"

Alison: "You thought you were going to come here...after being GONE for an INORDINATE amount of time...and QUESTION ME...as if I ANSWER to YOU? CLEARLY you have missed and FORGOTTEN much while you've been away, INCLUDING the fact that I don't SUFFER this kind of treatment lightly from ANYONE."

Oh, great, she's got the stick again. Haleigh thought. Alison was obviously wound tight and egregiously overreacting. Haleigh had hardly said anything since she's shown up, but Alison was as defensive as possible.

Alison: "How DARE you come here! Trying to stir things up again!"

"Alison, I'm not trying to stir--"

Marble statues were crumbling and falling apart around them. Haleigh knew instantly if Alison flipped out and Haleigh had to defend herself, that it would be 'all Haleigh's fault'. She tried to diffuse the situation before it came to that.

Alison: "You came here not as my teammate or even as my FRIEND. you came here as HER self appointed emissary and you were an IDIOT for doing so."

"No! I came here as a woman who CARES about what happened to her family and wanted to understand and make this RIGHT. If you would just EXPLAIN it--"

Alison: "I don't owe you an explanation. I don't owe you ANYTHING!"

Haleigh was getting frustrated, being shut down EVERY time, and it was even worse when Alison accused her of not being around, of being inconsequential. Haleigh was about ready to start crushing marble herself, and her fist balled up, splitting open the wounds on her knuckles again, bringing fresh, dark blood to the surface once more. Haleigh rubbed her knuckles with her other hand, looking down at her hands for a moment. Alison was right..... Haleigh should have been here. She could have made a difference. She should have let New York burn. If only she had known. Alison stops pacing, her back turned to Haleigh, and shudders, as if crying. Haleigh could tell that Alison needed support almost as much as Delilah did.... but it would be difficult to be on BOTH their sides at once. Still, it was hard to see Alison break down and not do anything about it. Haleigh moved forward, reaching out to her friend with bloody knuckles, the tips of her fingers almost touching Alison's shoulder.

"Alison, I'm sor--"

Alison: "KEEP AWAY FROM ME! DON'T YOU TOUCH ME!"

And just like that, she was sliding backwards, thrown into her chair. Alison went on, and turned to face her, revealing black tears. Haleigh stared in disbelief and concern.

"Alison, I don't want to cause more harm..... I just want to repair the harm that's been done already. How can I make that any more clear??"

Alison: "You just sit there and you LISTEN. This is the LAST time I'm talking about this...TO ANYONE."

"Alright..... Alright."

Alison launched a show and tell display, a true recounting of how things had happened. Helpful, because it showed the big picture. Of course, every now and then, Alison's bitter emotions informed the story. Haleigh let most of it slide, as she absorbed bulk of the story. Alison called herself a fool for letting her heart get the better of her, and that was when Haleigh finally interrupted.

"Alison, you aren't a fool. In my opinion--"

Alison: "YOU weren't here. YOUR opinion doesn't count. IT DOESNT MATTER and what you think of ME doesn't matter EITHER. You LOST that level of regard from me when you decided that playing GI JANE for the government was more important than US..."

Ouch. Was that really deserved? Maybe it was, but Haleigh had truly thought she was doing a good thing with SHIELD. So why did she feel so awful about it now?

Alison: "She cast Bishop out. Seemingly forever. I'm sure YOU would have enjoyed that. But where were you again? YOU WERENT HERE as MORGAN tried her best to protect US from Delilah's SELFISH and PETTY, NASTY verbal assaults, only to end up being degraded by Delilah MORE than any of the others."

"Yeah, well, maybe you didn't notice, but Delilah was hurt by your decision and lashing out. And obviously she wasn't the only one hurt. I can see it's still affecting you..... you've got some pretty selfish, petty, nasty verbal assaults of your own to lash out with."

But there was more. The end of the whole torrid affair..... and Haleigh watched it go down. The more she saw, the worse she felt.... for EVERYONE involved. There just hadn't been a way out. Haleigh knew, better than anyone, what it was like to have to make a terrible decision under threat of death. Nobody came out looking like a million bucks.

Alison: "Despite what you were told, there was no "conspiracy" or "plot". HER. ALL of it! And now that you've heard what you wanted to hear, it's time for you to leave."

"No....... now it's time for YOU to listen. I wasn't here for this.... which is my fault. But I'm here NOW, and just like before..... you're to get my opinion whether you like it or not. EVERYONE, and I mean every last one of you, got a raw deal. Everyone got hurt. Everyone had to make sacrifices they weren't ready for. And you know what? You all need to cut each other some fucking slack. Because focusing on your own pain is making things worse. You had to make a tough choice. You did the best you could, I can see that. I still think you should have included Delilah in the decision-making, and NOT Bishop, but it's over and done with now, and we need to move forward. I'm going to do everything I can to help fix the major issue, which is the kid being gone. But even when that gets solved, there's still the personal fight you two are having. You won't like hearing this, but you owe her an apology as much as she owes YOU one. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO WAS RIGHT AND WHO WAS WRONG. All that matters is that you stop judging each other and start showing some goddamn compassion again. You KNEW....... You KNEW Delilah would not react well to the decision YOU made without her. But you weren't prepared to FEEL IT. There's no shame in that, Alison. It took me a long time to realize there's no shame in experiencing emotion. I think if you just accepted THAT, you can start to come to terms with what happened. Right now you're trying too hard to NOT feel it."

NYC Parthenon - Ambrosia

Simon watched as Ava became visibly nervous and flustered which he had to admit gave him an intense amount of pleasure. He knew of her reputation. She was somewhat of a ballbusting bitch and nobody caught her off guard, so to see her visible discomfort at his grand gesture was satisfying.

Ava: "Fine, fine! I'll have lunch with you! Now will you get up please?"

He laughed as he jumped to his feet and looked to the patrons of Ambrosia. Simon lifted off his feet in a jump of joy and threw a fist into the air, much to the delight of the people around him.

"She said YES!"

The entire restaurant burst into applause, complete with cheers and whistles as camera bulbs flashed brightly around the couple, most definitely the flashes of the paparazzi. Simon took his seat across from her and smiled.

"Now THAT oughta give the press something to talk about. The Arms Dealer Heiress and America's Royal Son....ENGAGED?!"

He couldn't help but laugh loudly as the waiter returned with his meal and a bottle of incredibly expensive champagne.

Waiter: "This is compliments of The Parthenon, Mr. Pratt...Miss Cassadine...congratulations!"

[he could sense Ava was seething with anger]

Ava: "You are unbelievable, do you know that? And no, that was not a compliment..."

[taking a bite of his sandwich]

"better unbelievable than basic and forgettable..."

He watched as Ava took a long swig of her champagne, and Simon followed suit.

Ava: "Do you always get what you want?"

Simon dipped a piece of fruit into the greek yogurt and quickly put it in his mouth, swallowing it down before responding.

"There's no right answer for that, is there? If I say yes, then I'm arrogant...if I say no...well that would be a lie! But don't sell yourself short, Ava..I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find somebody willing to say NO to you..."

He began to refill both of their glasses as he continued...

"So...tell me..obviously..we both know of each other...but we don't really KNOW each other. Our families have been friends for years, we've run in the same circles...blah blah blah...Tell me something I DON'T know about Ava Cassadine...and I'll return the favor..."

Melrose Place - Apartment #4

As Blaze began to help him with some last minute preparations for brunch, the process finished itself quite nicely. Cameron decorated the plates in an artistic way. Cooking was a true hobby for the mogul. Having spent so much time at the hotel he had access to some of New York's most promising and successful chefs, and he couldn't help but dabble every now and then. It was something that brought him great joy, and when most of your life was spent fighting to save the world, hobbies were important.

Cameron took care of the rest of the set up, decorating the breakfast nook and setting the table, placing two bottles of uncorked champagne on ice in the center, adorned with various fruits and juices for them to mix with. Taking the plates he sat them on the table and ushered Blaze over to her seat.

"Your table is ready, Miss Victory..."

He pulled her chair out for her and sat down next to her and the two began to dig into the rich and delicious food. Cameron was pretty proud of himself. During the meal, Cameron addressed Blaze's earlier questions about 'Blaze Fielding'.

Blaze said:

"I guess you would be pleased to know then that Blaze Fielding herself DID own a club just a stone's throw from The Parthenon in NYC. It was called Club Venom. And during it's heyday it was quite the operation. A Den of Inequity really. And salaciousness. Beautiful male and female dancers got the crowd hot and bothered and even more beautiful cocktail waitresses served the liquor. Blaze Fielding loved house music and handpicked the DJs for the club herself..it was really a popping joint!

[taking a bite of his meal]

"When she died...the club kind of fell to the wayside...looking back, I always wished I would have scooped it up..but there was so much going on with The Six that it was everything I could do to keep just MY business afloat...so unfortunately, it fell out of our hands and closed down..."

"But Blaze was definitely a free-spirit. It wasn't unlike her and Haleigh to escape the states and go tear it up in Europe...even when it seemed at the most INNAPPROPRIATE time...those two really got along...Sometimes she would just show up at my penthouse at Illustra with a bottle of Whiskey and a JOINT! We'd listen to music and just laugh and hang ou for hours...Yes, during the downtime of The Six..Foxfire definitely tried to make the most out of it...THAT...outside of everything ELSE...was the thing I liked the most about her....she knew how FUTILE all of this [gesturing his hands] was..."

Cameron poured them both a glass of champagne and he took a sip before continuing.

"But you'll have all DAY to learn about the 'Best of Blaze'....However, when it comes to Nigel BARKER?! KNOW this...Before I flew out to Los Angeles to be with you...I all but crushed Tempo Magazine...no that's an understatement...I did...I just caught word this morning that Meade Publications is closing the gossip rag for good...and Nigel Barker is going to spend a LOT of time licking his wounds thanks to Sally Spectra...He's also going to be hard pressed to find ANY kind of job in the near future as we've all but ruined his career...It may have been aggressive on my part..but YOU come from the world where being mutants cost us EVERYTHING...and THAT kind of journalism...ON ANY LEVEL is dangerous...and it won't be tolerated as long as I'm around..."

"In an effort to casually change the subject because I don't want to give too much away about your day... I have to ask..being the narcissist that I am...I notice, that in most timelines....I'm DEAD...I didn't make it...hell I ONLY made it in THIS one because of my stubborn nature and more importantly...ALISON... While, we are sharing cross time gossip...What was *I* like in your timeline? Better...worse than I am now? I mean, I gotta know..."

He took a bite of his breakfast and awaited Blaze's response.

Simon was a cocky fool. Jumping up and down and exclaiming that they were engaged. The paparazzi were going to eat this up. In any other situation Ava would have filleted him where he stood. But there was something about Simon that intrigued her. Most men were intimidated by Ava or bowed down to her ever beck and call. But he was a challenge, and he thrived FOR a challenge. He was keeping her on her toes, that was for sure. It was quite entertaining.

Ava: "Do you always get what you want?"

Simon dipped a piece of fruit into the greek yogurt and quickly put it in his mouth, swallowing it down before responding.

Simon: "There's no right answer for that, is there? If I say yes, then I'm arrogant...if I say no...well that would be a lie! But don't sell yourself short, Ava..I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find somebody willing to say NO to you..."

Ava shook her head as a small smile tugged on her lips. Now she could see how he got his reputation as a womanizer. He always knew just what to say to flatter a woman, but did it in such a way that it was sly and almost undetectable.

Ava: "So...tell me..obviously..we both know of each other...but we don't really KNOW each other. Our families have been friends for years, we've run in the same circles...blah blah blah...Tell me something I DON'T know about Ava Cassadine...and I'll return the favor..."

Ava's eyes almost gleamed with mischief as he asked to know one thing about herself that he didn't know. Leaning forward, Ava's elbows rested on the table as she closed the gap between them.

"One thing huh?"

Her fingers gently slid up the glass flute that held her mimosa. The condensation making them easily glide.

"Well.....I really love a long.....hard....sweaty..."

Her fingers mimicked what Simon was envisioning with her glass before they stopped moving. Her nude stained lips were parted and her eyes peered seductively into Simon's.

"Game of tennis!"

Grinning, Ava picked up the mimosa and sat back in her seat nonchalantly.

"Do you like tennis, Simon? It really gets your heart rate up, doesn't it?"

Taking a swig of her drink, she couldn't help but smile as the rim of the glass was at her lips. Oh, this was way too fun and definitely what she needed after last night.

"You're turn. What is something no model knows about the infamous Simon Pratt?"

She was listening to him and that was a good sign. It mean he had gotten in. All he had to do was to keep her entertained, but it was dangerous ground. Any wrong move and he might find himself put out on his ass.

As he asked her to reveal something that people didn't know about her, she leaned forward and gave him a complete look of seduction. Now things were getting interesting. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, in anticipation for the pleasure that awaited him. She was easier to crack than he thought.

Ava: "One thing huh?"

His eyes were transfixed on the sexual movement of her fingers on the long stemmed champagne flute and he felt a bead of sweat run down his face. He carelessly wiped it away as he anxiously awaited her response..

Ava: "Well...I really love a long....hard....sweaty..."

"Yes....YES...GO ON!"

Ava: Game of tennis! Do you like tennis, Simon? It really gets your heart rate up, doesn't it?

She took a swig of her champagne, pleased with her answer. Simon wiped his forehead and exhaled loudly.

"Okay, Ava...That was good..I'm not much of a fan of tennis...but I could watch you fondle flatware all day long...."

Ava: "You're turn. What is something no model knows about the infamous Simon Pratt?"

Simon smirked for a moment.

"Well...since you gave me an utterly lame tidbit of information...I guess I will give you something of the light side of things as well...Not many people know this...but I'm actually a classically trained pianist...Not professionally anyway...I've played the piano since I was three years old...I love classical music. I love them all...but my favorite would have to be Bach...his matchless combination of masterly musical engineering and profound expressivity are like no other....In fact I tend to like all things refined....Opera, Cigars....I get it from my father, Alistair. He was a hard ass absentee son of a bitch of a man, but he definitely gave me a taste for the good things in life...."

[taking a sip of champagne]

"So... SEE? I have another side to me that isn't all boozing and floozies...but don't tell anybody that..I wouldn't want to ruin my reputation...or worse, allow my mother to get OFF her heart medication!"

He laughed, taking another bite of his sandwich. He had a little twisted sense of humorr. Both of his parents were absent for much of his life, busying pursuing their own social endeavours, and he often found himself using starcasm or blunt rudeness to deal with a lot of that.

"Moving on since I'm almost finished with this sandwich and I have another date at two...I'm kidding, i'm kidding...kind of...What exactly were you doing up at Cameron King's office yesterday? Is Cassadine Enterprises looking to buy real estate?"

She had him hook, line, and sinker. The sweat....the anticipation in his eyes. Then poof! It all blew up in his face.

Simon: "Okay, Ava...That was good..I'm not much of a fan of tennis...but I could watch you fondle flatware all day long...."

Smirking, most men would have been pissed off and called her a cock tease before storming off. But Simon? Simon was a different breed. He actually enjoyed the fact that she teased him. It sort of got her off. But he didn't deter from his original question and decided to answer it himself. Taking a bite of her omelette, she stopped mid chew as he said he was a classically trained pianist.

"Seriously?"

He stated that he loved classical music and that Bach was his favorite composer. The perks of being an immortal was that she was around for Bach when he was alive and putting on concerts in Germany. However THAT tidbit of information wouldn't pass by Ava's lips.

"I'm actually...impressed. I would have never pegged you as a musician."

Simon: "So... SEE? I have another side to me that isn't all boozing and floozies..."

"I wouldn't go THAT far."

She quipped. Finishing only half her omelette, Ava placed her fork and knife on her plate before placing her cloth napkin on top of it indicating she was finished.

Simon: "Moving on since I'm almost finished with this sandwich and I have another date at two...I'm kidding, i'm kidding...kind of...What exactly were you doing up at Cameron King's office yesterday? Is Cassadine Enterprises looking to buy real estate?"

Rolling her eyes, and THERE was the Simon Pratt that everyone knows and loathes. But still, he was keeping her entertained and her mind off of her issues and the six issues.

"Actually, Cameron offered me a position as the new operations manager for the Parisian Parthenon that is under construction. That's what I was looking into before you blew through here like a tornado."

The waiter approached the table and cleared off both hers and Simon's plates while another placed a slice of chocolate ganache cake in between them with two forks.

Waiter: This is on the house. Congratulations again.

Narrowing her eyes at Simon, Ava shook her head and picked up the fork.

"Maybe tornado is an understatement."

Ava: I'm actually...impressed. I would have never pegged you as a musician.

A smile pursed up in Simon's lips. He had to admit it kind of felt good to talk to somebody who was on par with him in terms of wealth and social status. Most of the women he chatted up were interesting only in what he could offer them, so he tended to offer them only sex and nothing more. The love 'em and leave 'em routine actually kept a lot of predatory women away from him, but the persistent ones usually still tried no matter what. It was simply a part of his life. But to talk to a woman who seemed worldly and affluent? That was refreshing. The spark that he was having with Ava did happen to scare him a little.

He was a young guy and not all too sure of what he wanted out of life...other than to maintain the success he had and to carve something out for himself outside of his parents, which in and of itself was a monumental task. Simon finished the remains of his sandwich as Ava filled him in on the details of her meeting with Cameron.

Ava: "Actually, Cameron offered me a position as the new operations manager for the Parisian Parthenon that is under construction. That's what I was looking into before you blew through here like a tornado."

"Well ya--"

He was cut off by a waiter who stopped by with yet ANOTHER treat for the newly 'engaged' couple. A giant chocolate ganache cake...it looked almost as good as Ava.

Waiter: This is on the house. Congratulations, again.

Ava shook her head.

Ava: Maybe tornado is an understatement...

Simon nearly blushed for a moment, but quickly recovered.

[laughing]

"I do have a tendnecy to make things happen around me. That's why the New York Social scene loves me...and the Parisian Parthenon? Nice! Getting out of the arms game? I guess I will have to retire my Ava Cassadine as Tomb Raider fantasy then..."

He handed a fork to Ava.

"PLEASE tell me you are one of those women who eats...I HATE women who don't eat. I mean, I take care of myself, don't get me wrong...but you take a girl to one of the BEST restaurants in the entire world and she gets a salad? Who is she trying to impress? I know she wants the steak...."

[thinking for a moment]

"And the Paris location is absolutely breathtaking...I was just there a few weeks ago...That's what I do for The Zenith Group. Mergers & Acquisitions. I've been scouting out some property nearby to snipe for that location...managed to get a few acres of land right NEXT to the property...I thought it'd be perfect for a romantic park with a lake in the middle...rose gardens, all that jazz. Mr. King ate it all up of course....and after he reamed my ass for a few....other things...he gave a promotion for it...I have NO idea where...but he told me to show up on Monday on the International Floors...so who knows...I mean, they still have the plans for the Milan and Tokyo locations...I could do Tokyo...asian women are definitely....appealing...."
