Well I just got home from seeing X3. Midnight movies rule. haha. Anyhow, the movie was good. Fantastic ending, plot twists that I freakin' didn't see coming (I mean seriously...damn), introductions of crazy ass characters. It was really really good. I liked it a lot, although I do with there was more action in it. But what lacked in action made up in drama, which is always good in my eyes. ;) I loved the fact that Storm (my favorite not only in the movie, but comics in general) had a more prominante role in this movie. They showed more of powers, her ability to fight, and ability to take charge as a leader. Phoenix/Jean was crazy as fuck. LOL. Beast fucking ROCKED out during the battle. Overall it was just insane...worth seeing in my eyes. But then again, i'm not an avid comic reader so I don't know if you comic junkies will see it as being worthy or not. :shrug:

I would go into more details...but I really can't without giving anything away. But what I can say is you're going to leave this movie going holy shit about a lot of different plot twists...lol.

I loved it!! I thought it was well done... :) I am defintely going to buy it when it comes out on DVD... although some of the characters didnt get a fair share... it still was good... :)

I'll be seeing it this weekend. All i know is, Mystique, Storm and Shadowcat BETTER last through the WHOLE MOVIE. Those are my favorite characters in the X movies.

I can't wait to see this...the characters in general appear to be more hype and amped up than they were in the first two. no longer relying on WOLVERINE to marshall their forces.
 
Is Moira Mactaggert in it? I read about her on The Internet Movie Database, but that was long ago and I never trust those sort of sites. *sighs* I hope she is because I adore her. I also adore The Beast. Okay, I guess I only ADORE smart people, or so it seems. *laughs* the rest I just like sorta kinda. Anyway, Hank McCoy is the sexiest mutant in the world besides Psylocke. He better have a big part or I'll loose my head. Kelsey Grammer is the best Beast they could have found. Every since I heard he was playing Hank McCoy I have been watching re-runs of Frasier everyday. It's uncanny how much he sounds like I would expect the comic book character to sound. I'm looking forward to this movie with much hope that it isn't ruined. I cannot stand the first two. In my eyes, they are a disgrace to Marvel Comics history. *folds arms and stomps away*.

For anyone that got to see the 'special suprise' at the end of the credits,can they PLEASE tell me what it was!?!! the bastards cut the credits at the cinema.

Good film,enjoyed it-only thing I'll say on my complaints was-I didn't get to see what I hoped for the big flaming bird!! :D
 
you shouldve known you wouldnt get to see the flaming raptor phoenix effect...there was so much griping about how expensive it was to replicate the powers for Storm and Cyclops in the first two films lol.

I just saw the movie.... This was the best movie I ever hated!

Brett Ratner is a piece of SHIT! they totally didnt respect the material OR the characters.
How in the world can they justify killing Off Cyclops, Jean Grey AND Prof.X?? granted Xavier transfers his mind to the body in Moira Macttagerts research center (end of credits surprise). Wasnt The Juggernaut Prof.X's step-brother? They stripped Rogue, Mystique AND Magneto of their powers! WTF??? Look the movie was fun and exciting. action packed and the effects were top notch BUT as a fan i cant state enough how much I HATED this movie

Are you serious? He transfered his mind? Ugh...they must of cut the movie short before I was able to see that!! But yeah, I couldn't believe that they killed Cyclops off so quickly, and I was utterly stunned at the fact that they killed Professor X off!! I figured Jean would die...so that wasn't much of a surprise. Although I was kinda hoping that Wolverine would stick her with the cure instead of kill her, but oh well. And I was freakin' pissed when they stripped Mystique of her powers!! And Magneto. :( Rogue I could care less about, but M&M, hell no. But what kept me from not flipping out was the fact that at the end, Magneto very slightly moved that metal chess piece which leads me to believe that the cure isn't permenent and that if they actually do a 4th X-Men movie, Mystique, Magneto, and Rogue will get their powers back.

 
Ditto all above-and they say there'll be a 4th film-how the hell?!?
And this special thing after the credits.....?

she was the one (which seems to be generally accepted by the "community at large) to be the female mutant at the end that had Kitty like powers. The one who who grabbed Warren Worthington II with Quill & Arclight. She was disintigrated by Phoenix
